Marshall Cleaning did an excellent job cleaning the gutters on my new house! They had been neglected for several years prior, and both the gutters and downspouts were more than half-filled with detritus. The young man that came to the house got up onto the roof, easily cleared the gutters and the down-spouts, and was even courteous enough to remove the down-spouts from their underground drainage pipes before cleaning them out! When he was finished, he did an excellent job of removing all of the fallout around the house, and made sure all of the downspouts were working in perfect order before putting them back in place! The entire time he seemed genuinely happy and excited to help us out. Very happy with their service, especially for just over $100! I have already recommended them to several others, and will definitely use them again!

Michael Montgomery came to clean my carpets today. He was early (yay!!) and very efficient. There was an issue with my outside faucet and he was unable to hook up his hoses. He solved the problem, cleaned my carpets , pet my dog and was gone! He is a very polite, hardworking young man and I would hire him again. Despite the fact that I over reacted to something that had nothing to do with them, I was treated with respect, courtesy and a high quality service. The carpets in my new home week really dirty. The service technician showed up 15 minutes early and did a good job. Some of the stains from walk patterns did not come all the way out but he did his best. I would recommend this company. Be sure you let them know ahead of time if you have stains so they can do a special cleaning. The only thing I did not like was the drain hose was emptied onto my driveway and it's gross. Now I have to pressure wash my driveway to get it off.

My first experience with Marshall Cleaning was a few years ago and I was disappointed. It was one employee though and I don’t remember his name, so I don’t even know if he’s still there. A Groupon for gutter cleaning was within my budget and I needed help. I’m a single mom with a busy schedule and don’t have a ladder tall enough for the back of my house. James came to my rescue. He had an opening a day early and called to see if he could come on. I didn’t need to be there since the service was all outside. I went home on my lunch break to leave a tip because it had been a couple of years since I could afford to take care of the gutters. I knew they were in bad shape. He was there when my son got home from school and he said James was very nice and professional. He cleaned up after himself, even cleaning up extra leaves off the deck that were there when he got there. He was very quick and efficient, found that tennis ball we lost while playing with the dog! It rained that night and it was nice to hear the rain coming down the gutters as intended and not spilling over the top. My faith is restored in Marshall cleaning. I now wish I had not judged the entire company based on the service of one rude employee. I should have filed a complaint to keep that guy from being rude to someone else. Thank you James! You’re the best!! I promise not to wait so long next time!

We bought a new house and the finished basement smelled like the previous owners’ dogs. I hired Marshall cleaning service to do a carpet cleaning with the special pet odor removal and the deep deodorizer. Called over 30 days ago regarding 2 properties. They said they were backed up and sent me a confirmation date for both properties 10 days later, no problem. They showed up to one property on the due date, then not to the second property. I called them a week after the NO SHOW and left a message, no one returned my call. Two weeks later I get a random call stating “we can come out tomorrow and clean your gutters.” I called back and was told there was a large turn over and people not showing up. I understand, but at least offer a discount or something.

I have used Marshall’s Cleaning Service twice in the last month. First time was to wash/clean my carpets and rugs and second time to clean floor and grout. Both times I have been extremely satisfied with their work and customer service. Today Bodie and Michael worked on my tile and grout and they did a terrific job, walked me through the process before and after. They asked if the work was done to my satisfaction which it was. No one can beat Marshals. I got an email about a Labor Day Special. Lower prices on various items (I chose 10 outside windows for $99). I’m on 2 levels - so upstairs outside is beyond me. They also had a $10 off deal on gift cards! So - I bought $150 gift card for $140. I got a call about when they would clean them (don’t have to be there for outside)! They cleaned my siding, facial and gutters and it only took them 2 hours and to my Amazement all items mentioned were like new. If I were to perform this work I would have had to rent either scaffolding or a bucket truck and it still would have taken me close to a week cleaning and the results would still not be near as good as them. The harmless chemicals they use on their soft wash are simply amazing.

I had Marshall Cleaning service out to my house this weekend. The carpet tech arrived, very clean cut young man, walked around asking me where I wanted him to clean. I showed him my trouble spots, (large dog stains). I asked him if he could do a few areas up stairs that was not relayed to them when I made the appointment, he said defiantly that would not be a problem. He went to work. Making sure to get the 'problem' areas. He even gave the 1 room a special treatment for the dog smell. In no time he was done and my carpets look amazing. My husband came home and I showed him the carpets and he was shocked on how great they looked and smelled. The tech was polite, nice, kind and an all around nice young man. Called them and explained that our home has high ceilings and lots of windows. Specifically told them "two very top windows in the front not need to clean" as these are above 12 ft. It was a bit uncomfortable to hear the person (Nicole) on the phone already viewing my house online and as she "walked" through the pictures, I stated which TWO windows were an issue to being accessed. She voiced clear understanding of what they were getting themselves into and we paid close to $900 for inside/outside cleaning. All seemed good People arrived (inside cleaners) first, contacted to arrive earlier (which was ok with me, that would free some pm time!) they started cleaning but were not informed by their boss that outside crew was also coming. By the time the outside crew came, there were problems because they were not working "in coordination" (read the inside crew had to re-clean some windows that they'd already cleaned). Aside from strong smell of smoke (inside crew) they all were respectful, professional and very nice (outside crew was phenomenal, that's why I give them two stars!). Four hours went by and they were not done (due to mishap as above) so I had to leave and left my in-laws at home. By the time they were done, I was on my way back but the crew had to leave and didn't wait for me. When I arrived, I noticed that the three top windows -in the living room which is to the back of the house- were not cleaned from the inside. Nicole called for a follow up (which I thought was nice) and I talked with her about the three windows, her first reaction was "the inside crew can't climb above a regular stair -about 3 feet- so, if they couldn't reach them, we would have to send someone else to do that job, please send me pictures...oh and BTW, we got some business in your neighborhood because some of your neighbors were asking about our services!" So, I did, sent pics and that's when they started to lose stars. Two weeks went by, no answer, emailed back she apologized (we've been busy), then another email "crew says you told them not to clean them, so if you want them cleaned, you must pay extra". Sent another email, disagreeing, reminding her of what our initial conversation was, of clearly stating that these were high-ceiling windows, that she had seen my entire house even BEFORE she quoted service cost, that I knew what I had told them, yet to no avail. "Sorry, you told them not to clean them (lady, they were not even cleaning that area by the time I left!!!!), and we will not go back unless you pay extra". So, this is it, they lost my business, I've shared my experience with my neighbors (including our private group) and made them aware of the poor business practice. Yes, as soon as they see a nice house, they will charge accordingly, if they spent more time than anticipated, they will make sure they leave job undone, so you can contact/or they will do on follow up call to try to rip you off and charge extra. Stay away from them, as much as the crew members are nice, their business strategies are dubious and clearly unprofessional. Pictures added to show how they left the windows (I mean, if this IS your job, can't you see they're dirty?)

Save your time and money! I searched all over Knoxville for cleaning service and decided on this one! First issue, I asked for a 11am appt because that's the time I head to lunch! They call me at 10am saying they were at my house waiting! What?! I asked for an 11am appt not 10am! Had to leave work to let them in. Second, I SPECIFICALLY asked for them to clean all the doors, the trim, baseboards, DETAIL the windows and blinds, ALL THE LIGHT FIXTURES, DETAIL the kitchen! And vacuum! I left them there knowing my husband would be later with a painter to go over any mistakes the painters made ( there's a reason I bring this up, stay tuned) . I also let the cleaners know that my husband and the painter would be by to do this so not to freak out! " ok " they said. Cool, I leave to go back to work, I get a call around 1130 for them to tell me that some of the lines on my blinds were broken .Ok thanks for letting me know something I already knew! She says " do you still want me to detail the kitchen?" " um...YES!" Ok! Get a call around 130-2ish to tell me they're done. And if I'd like to do a walk through, I say " no that's ok, I'm still at work ..if there's anything wrong, I will call back and have you guys come back out" perfect . Paid my $260 and went on about my work day. I get a call around 330 - 4 and my husband says " did they even clean ?! " " well yeah. I went through my list". I get home and the ONLY thing they did was vacuum and clean my son's tub ..thats it! Literally... Nothing else!! I'm not even gonna go through the list of things they didn't do... I'll just let you guys take a look at the photos! The best part about it was when I called to get a refund. The owners wife said she would send them back out! I said no, if I wanted my house cleaned, I would do it myself, and that I wouldn't have them come back out .I could do a much better job! Problem is.. I WORK FULL TIME! Hence, why I hired someone .Then refused to give me a refund . said that she would talk to her husband about a $65-$70 Refund and that she Would " call me back" NEVER CALLED ME BACK! OHHHHH ANDDDDD, when she called the cleaner to ask about what happened, the cleaner straight up LIED and said that they couldn't detail the kitchen because there were painters ALL OVER painting and that they wouldn't go behind them to clean! WHAT?!?!? The painter were DONE painting!!! My husband came by the house while they were cleaning with ONE painter to mark the mistakes the painters needed to go over .Little did she know that my husband was in the house while she was there and that there were NO PAINTERS!! OH and she admitted to NOT cleaning my stainless steel appliances and the owner had the balls to say " she cleaned the inside of your dishwasher and made it Nice and sparkly for you" I DIDNT EVEN ASK HER TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF MY DISHWASHER. I told her not to worry about the inside of the cabinets or the inside of the appliances. So needless to say I paid $260 for someone to vacuum my upstairs and a tub cleaning ..DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I had gutter cleaning on 11-4-19. Alex and James used extension attachments to a powerful handheld blower to access all of the gutters. They even climbed onto the roof to reach hard to access areas. They were very personable, careful, thorough, and cleaned up the debris from the deck, sidewalks, driveway, and surrounding areas. This is the 3rd time that I've used Marshall for this service and each time has been more than satisfactory.
