I first contacted this company in 2017 inquiring about replacement parts for my under sink water filtration system, and received a quick, helpful and friendly reply. At the time, bought from a supplier local to me as I was in a hurry. However, I kept the Water Guy's email so when it came time to replace again I would remember them. Their prices are fair, shipping was QUICK, and I got exactly what I ordered. Thanks for the tasty water again!

Fantastic service and pricing. My RO discharge lines froze, collapsing my membranes. The Water Guy beat all brick and mortar shops in the lower mainland and had the membranes at my door by the next day. Will never buy another thing from the local shops.

I really like dealing with this company. I just ordered filters and cleaning powder for my Megahome water distiller and it was delivered to my door within two short days! I am a happy owner of my Megahome distiller which I have had for over a year. It came from The Water Guy. Poor customer service. I ordered in their website after I talked to a guy in the phone regarding the shipping. Monday came and I did not receive any update, so I phoned them again to ask about the product and they say they will prepare it for me, after 2 days I learned that the product I ordered is out of stock. Now I asked to process a refund and until now (5 days passed) no refund happened. Beware of this company.

Had to have water softener replaced because other one was to old. Was given deal on used one. Had issues with water when installed. Softener not working properly. They came back made some adjustments and changes and took some samples to tests and said we'll get back to you. That was over a year ago. Never heard back from them and they never called to do service like they used to. Guess they don't need the business. Had culligan in today to do water tests and see about New softener. He looked at other softener and informed us it isn't working and hasn't been for some time. Maybe that explains why they never followed up.

I have made a few purchases over the last couple years and continue to be impressed with The Water Guy. This past week I was installing a new refrigerator with an ice maker and I needed to increase the water pressure from my RO system. I sent an email to the website explaining my issue and received a prompt reply with a listing of parts I needed to fix my system. I was able to easily add the parts to the shopping cart and my order was completed. Shipping is very fast as usual and now everything is working great. I will continue to buy what I need and refer others to The Water Guy.

Ordered a pump to increase pressure before a RO filter and they sent me the wrong type and pressure of pump. Upon trying to get a replacement or a refund this was their response. "You’ve used the pump so now its used, not new unopened like our return policy. What are we supposed to do with it? (please don’t answer) Its past the 30 day return window. You probably could make this work if you were willing but you’re not. You blame our staff for what you clearly requested instead of taking ownership of your actions and you are incredibly rude which is not something any staff here has to tolerate." I spoke with their tech support 3 times and "Tried to make it work" but they were unhelpful and even admitted that they sent the wrong pump, but won't make it right. Don't make the mistake of shopping here like I did!

Asked a simple question about a product and got this reply... " No idea, best to write Aquatec disrectly --- 30 Years in Business! The Water Guy 600 Industrial Road 1 Units 12 & 13 Cranbrook BC V1C 4C6" Copied directly from my email. I would suggest other sites like Canadian Water Warehouse or bulk reef supply in the states. I prefer to support Canadian businesses but when they have customer support like that, why bother. Can't seem to reply to your response any other way but to edit my review. I asked a question about a product on your website and in regards to what it says in the description of the product on your website. According to your website, it says and I quote from your site "Aquatec’s Pressure Switches are normally closed and are pre-set at various shut-off pressures. When needed, they can be adapted to operate as normally open switches through minor modifications to the wire terminal connector." That is directly off your website. According to that, I was intending to use the product as it was manufactured. I was merely asking you if the switches you had and sold did indeed have the extra wire terminal connector to change it to normally open as your website states I should be able to. I was trying to save the hassle of ordering it and receiving it only to have to send it back because it was not as it is stated on your website. The other companies I contacted after receiving the reply from your company, informed me politely, that the switches they have from aquatec only have two wire terminals and did say that I should contact aquatec directly and gave me their website as well as their phone number. A lot more helpful than just saying "no idea". The negative review was for the negative response I received and the obvious lack of knowledge about the products you are selling and or how you have the products described on your website which is the information I have to go by when trying to purchase something from you. Now with your reply, I wish I could rate it zero stars. It does not seem you bothered to check your own website and product description, which I referred to in my initial email before accusing me of using it in a way that it is not meant to be used, when your own website tells I can use it in that way. You could have also contacted me directly through my original email to clarify things before posting your reply and I would have possible changed my review for the better. I did not even mention the fact that they spelled directly wrong. I understand it may just be a service that handles inquiries and replies but you as the owner are responsible for how they respond as well as what it says on your website.

I would like to give this establishment zero stars. What started out as a simple order of a part became very complicated when those parts never arrived. The staff here had many excuses, but absolutely no positive solutions or customer support. Instead, the were belligerent, derogatory, and of no help. I will not order from here again, and strongly suggest that customers go elsewhere, anywhere but here, if they want good service and parts. I respect high quality service and products. The Water Guy Company does not deserve our business!

I had a problem with my water softener, error code1006. Could not program,and locked out control board,clack ws1. Contacted The water guy and through email got allen. He is very knowledgeable. He did some research and sent me some instructions to try. He suggested it was a fault in the control board. I ordered the new board that needed slightly different cover, which he sent along. So over numberous emails my issue was solved, board and cover shipped same day. I installed as soon as it arrived,and cured the problem. I highly encourage you do business with The Water Guy I bought a motor for my water softener. Its arrived promptly and packaged well...the motor was in a sealed bag. Unfortunately it was DOA! I contacted them and they suggested I do a continuity test. I did the test, gave them the results and they immediately agreed to send a replacement. 4 Days later I received the replacement ...installed it and was up and running. Thx Water Guy!!

Check correctly your order when you received it! I ordered 3 times with this company and 2 times I received one or many wrong parts or there were missing parts. The quality control for the order preparation seems very bad. First time the customer service was really at least very nice with me and sent me the correct parts and the missing parts right away. The second time the customer service rep was trying to put the fault on me stating that I ordered the wrong part or that I had the wrong matting part at home. I had to argue with them to finally receive. Really not happy with their customer service.

In the middle of the covid19 disaster I ordered a model MH943TWS Megahome water distiller from The Water Guy with spare parts and a GAP01LV Genie automatic water bottle pump. Given the current climate I figured it would take several weeks to receive everything. Ordered on the 28th of April and it arrived on my doorstep the morning of the 29th of April from BC to AB. Such excellent service is unheard of even during good times. As a special mention, the Genie pump is a must have to fit on standard 20 litre water bottles. It is USB rechargeable so no batteries required. One box arrived in great shape and was simple as ever by following instructions to get it to the up and running stage. All was packaged so well that I'm sure it would have withstood a two storey drop test. Pure and pristine the water is great and even makes coffee taste better. As well, it is extremely sturdy and well built. No corners were cut in manufacturing. The water runs seamlessly through stainless steel or glass to produce 4 litres of mineral free water. If timed right you could easily produce 16 litres of distilled water a day. Thank you for the top notch service. If the unit runs half as good as your delivery service it will likely still be running for many decades to come. ADM Edmonton, AB

Absolutely brutal customer service. My mistake was not looking closely at the water filter as soon as it arrived. When I got around to installing it I noticed there was a small dent and tear in the side of the filter, presumably from before it was even shipped, as it was packaged well. Upon contacting The Water Guy I was told it was past 30 days from purchase (just), and they didn't seem too keen on offering any help. After a series of back and forth emails over several days (they can only manage one reply per day) they suggested I purchase another filter from them, ship it (at my cost) and ship the old one back to them (also at my cost). They would then attempted to process it as a warranty claim through the manufacturer. Notice how their "solution" accepts zero risk, and even gets them a second sale after they sent me a damaged filter in the first place. Seriously spend your money elsewhere, there is no reason to ever deal with these guys.

You will not believe how foul and toxic municipal tap water is until you see what's in the bottom of a water distiller. Smells extremely toxic, because it is. Terrible, rude and insulting customer service. Can't emphasize this enough. Their website overrides a field to make it incorrect. If you don't catch it, your product goes to the wrong address. When I brought this up, they told me I should learn to use a computer. When I proved to them it was their site and not me they came up with a bunch of excuses instead of apologizing for insulting me. I called to talk to a manager. They responded simply with "no" and hung up on me before I could say another word. I e-mailed again days later to ask a manager to review this. Customer service said "that's why we have a confirmation screen." Apparently it's there so you catch their errors.... They may be a couple bucks cheaper than a local supplier, but not worth it after that experience! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
