When I discovered a slow leak in the drain pipe of my kitchen sink, I called Zach at Stooks Plumbing. My job wasn’t necessarily urgent, but Zach was able to fit me in between his other jobs that afternoon—which I really appreciated—and took the time to not just repair the leaky joint but redo a larger section of faulty pipe that was sure to cause problems in the near future because of some other poorly clamped joints. I so appreciate Zach’s professionalism and the excellent work he did!

Zach has worked for us on two occasions. Once replacing our hot water tank and the second time repairing a leaky pipe. Both times he was courteous, efficient, and dependable. This last time I unknowingly contacted him while he was on vacation and he still patiently took my call and scheduled me in upon his return. We had a passing of a family member in Cranbrook, we are not from the Cranbrook area, so it seemed like it was going to be difficult to do a couple upgrades to the house. We needed quite a but of work done to get the house ready to sell. Looked online and found Stooks. Called Zach, he was there right away. He went over and above for us, installing a gas furnace, gas hot water tank, and upgrading some plumbing. He organized the furnace duct cleaning as well. Absolutely no problem being there for us. I would recommend Stooksplumbing every time. We had new floors installed in our bathroom but when in came time to reinstall the toilet they were unable to remove old bolts. We called Zac and he came within a couple of hours and only charged his base rate. He used nylon screws instead of the brass ones and explained why. Also informed us not to caulk around toilet, so we would see any leaks if there were any. Zac is very efficient and honest. So happy to see a plumber that doesn’t take advantage of people in need of professional help. Thank you Zac!!!

Zach was very helpful. Our furnace quite working new years eve late in the night. Called Zach at 10:30pm, came out to us right away. Found the problem within half an hour (burners were clogged) could not replace burners because had to order, but spent an hour cleaning them and was able to get furnace going. Husband and I are very happy with him, will definitely use him as our plumbing\heating guy, and will recommend to others.

Zak is truly amazing. I called from Vancouver about my daughter's furnace not working. Had not been working for 3 weeks with cold weather setting in. 3 children in the house couldn't get there for a couple days. Even as busy as he was texted me back and said he wasn't comfortable leaving them with no heat. He was there in a couple hours had it fixed within minutes. Truly an amazing guy.

He was able to organize a temporary replacement tank for us while he made arrangements for our new system. We were hardly with out hot water, which was very convenient.
