His work was very good with no complaints. The job was painless for us which means a lot! The price was fair. I would definitely recommend Kevin and Kootenay mountain metal.

However, the owner/operator Kevin also believes in supporting and building a strong local community; he has donated services to Habitat for Humanity, made a cash donation in support of a local youth program, Youth Impact, as well as donated time and labour to various projects at the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club, including an amazing new awning that complements our new paint job so well! We had a new furnace installed two weeks ago and our plumber subcontracted out the ducting work to Kevin at Kootenay Mountain Metal. Kevin and his assistant were great; super polite and fastidious workers. The installation is immaculate, and Kevin did a good job explaining what he was doing and why. All off-cuts/scraps were removed at the end of the job, and we're pleased with the results. We're looking to get a wood stove installed next year and will likely return to Kootenay Mountain Metal for that installation.

I needed steel gutters with covers to withstand sliding snow for a guide outfitter lodge way back in the mountains. Kevin took my measurements and photos and fabricated everything I needed right down to the special screws, special covers for the joints and a weird little piece to make the corner work! He gave me written instructions and when I need additional understanding, he took all my calls and walked me through installation. This is a premier family company that respects its customers and works for return business. Highly recommend.

Kevin kept in touch with regard to when our home would be ready for him and then when he could make it to do the work. Great communication, prompt service and really high quality work. He reconfigured our furnace to work more efficiently and replaced our ductwork to be more balanced in our home. Pricing was fair, he stuck to his quote and even gave me advice on installing my metal roofing (he does that too, not just furnaces and duct work it seems) I highly recommend Kootenay Mountain Metal.
