We have been having trouble with our A/C ever since it was installed new, 3 years ago. After one visit from High Point Plumbing, the problem was diagnosed. While there, they also identified other major potential problem areas. They were able to get us in quickly to replace our 12 year hot water tank and furnace; resulting in peace of mind and a working A/C. Yay! Everyone we dealt with were knowledgable, friendly and made us feel like they had our best interest at heart.

The fellow that came to install a utility sink and correct the feeds to the sink and washing machine did a wonderful job. He noticed that the drain line from the washer and corrected it. I was really pleased that he looked at the whole system and made our plumbing that much safer.

High Point installed my air conditioning unit. They are responsive, punctual, and courteous. I called three places: their estimator came first. Their installer came within a few days. They texted and communicated well with me. I needed a sub panel and to coordinate with tenants and they were very responsive.

High Point helped us out with our heat pump and a failed Ecobee thermostat. They got here the next day, replaced the thermostat and got it working correctly before leaving. Everything looked good but (an update here), they billed us for another customer's invoice (6x the cost of our work) and after we complained, they addressed the issue but then continually pestered us for next 4 months for us to prove that we actually paid the correct bill despite the fact that we immediately paid the right invoice! In addition, it ended up that the thermostat was configured incorrectly for our type of furnace and we had to have someone come in to fix it. Overall this was a terrible experience and we will not recommend high point.

Four different HVAC companies and electricians out to try and fix my American Standard electric furnace, without any luck, before Highpoint got involved. Only mistake was not calling Highpoint sooner. Customer service from both the office and the technicians, and the repair work, was absolutely exceptional. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend this company.

Prompt service. had appointment booked and technician at the house within a few days for a non emergency call. This is where the positives end. Quoted $410 for the install of a pressure reducing valve on the main water line. Keep in mind identical valve can be had on amazon for $115. Plumber was here for an hour and according to my wife was very pleasant. Unfortunately I was at work during the install otherwise I would have challenged the bill of $547 ( $400/hour is just plain greedy) and questioned the leaking shut off. No written invoice as plumber mentioned it would be emailed. It wasn’t. Called a couple days later to get a detailed explanation of the work and question the total. I was misquoted for the estimate of $410 and the amount charged was the correct price. Wow! Their error and I’ll give them kudos for owning it and offering a refund of the difference. A week later and no refund. Another call and it appears my refund is on the way and this saga is over. Wouldn’t recommend high point based on the ridiculous fees and unorganized practices.

Our furnace stopped working late one evening. I woke up early and called High point. They were there within a few hours and then spent most of the day dealing with my issue. The service was great and the employee was very knowledgeable. We had only been in the house a month so we had a few other questions about the system he took the time to answer our questions and he fixed more than just the one initial problem. I highly recommend High Point!

Did a great job cleaning the ducts, really friendly staff, however the furnace circut board was not installed properly after a service resulting in it not turning on. Had to trouble shoot it myself to get it working.

We were billed for a furnace service and had to hire another company to come in and redo it cause they didn't even clean the furnace. Jackson Heating on the other hand did extremely great work and were way better priced.

Not very impressed with these guys. Service was fine, they were easy to deal with but pricing seems really high. They cleaned my ducts which was an hr of work for $720. (Performed by an apprentice) Then serviced my furnace for $200. After, recommended about $2000 in repair and said im better off to get a new $10000 furnace. However my furnace absolutely needed at least the $1100 inducer motor (that included install). After the bill for the ducts I figured id price check. I was able to get the inducer motor for $590 from another company and install myself in 20mins. So not sure wha the extra $500 cost from them was for.

The good: repairman was courteous, on time, and called before coming. The primary objective of unclogging the line was accomplished. Payment was made easily on site. The not so good: Called office for scheduling. They said they would call me back. Never did although to their defence they claimed there was a staff emergency. Repairman didn't notice a very obvious 'clean out' valve. Had he used this it would have made his job much easier and my bill less. Line leaked water after the service. He had to come back to fix. I am assuming their rates are standard but was expensive none the less.

Had a leaking tap to repair. High point worker came on time, was polite, changed handle on the tap and charged $150 which fixed problem only partially as the tap was still dripping. Each timettime ihI used shower tried to shut the handle tight so it wouldn't be dripping so much which lead to broken handle again. This time I went to Canadian Tire myself and got the handle myself for $12. It took me about 20 min to change it. Which leads me to think the job that has been done was overpriced. The handle didn't last so I got someone else to look at it so they changed the valve which stoped the dripping completely and removed the need of trying to shut the handle so tight that it breaks. I think the worker from High Point should've known the make reason for the problem and fix the valve right away not just a handle

The work that was done was very good and the plumber was very professional, but get a quote before having work done. I asked for someone to clear out two drains, replace a kitchen faucet, replace a bathtub drain, and adjust the trap to a shower so sewer gases weren't leaking. The work took less than 4 hours and I was originally charged $1109; when I queried the bill, I was told that they had moved from an hourly rate to a per item rate - no one told me when I booked the visit. I was given a 10% discount, but the visit cost me approximately $250 per hour. Since I posted this review two weeks ago, High Point's office staff have worked hard to identify why the initial bill was so high and to remedy the problem. I am much happier now about my bill, which is now in the $600 range. High Point's customer service in this instance has been very good and much appreciated.

I was interested in getting central AC installed in my house so I called for a quote. Within a day or two, a representative came by to give me a quote. I made the decision that day to proceed. The whole process was easy and seamless. The install happened a week later. The installation team ran into a problem with one of their tools late in the day but came back in the evening to finish the job which was much appreciated because it was over 30 degrees inside the house!
