Consumer be warned! It was the worst experience of my life, not only does she charge 40 dollar an hour for unskilled labor she charged us for multiple things that weren’t done and even charged us for things we told her NOT to do! As you can see two of the reviews above is from two employees so there is a conflict of interest there. It’s obvious without her staff reviewing the company at 6 stars it would never make it past 1 star. I would recommend anyone else in Campbell River but her, she is not a professional and doesn’t know how to run a business. We disagreed on the bill due to the descrepancies and she refused to return the keys to my home until she was paid in full and even told me she had called the cops one me! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! If you would like you can comment on this review and I will show you the conversation between us and the 800 dollar bill I received for sub par service and the things that I was charged for that weren’t done. If I could give less than 1 star I would. As you can see below making a little extra money for Xmas means over charging and under working. As for threatening to come to her house she is half correct as she was withholding the keys to my home and refused to return them, so yes I needed to go get my property back from this less than reputable cleaner that now had a key to my home with my family living inside. I’m sorry Laura tor reputation is not good and I’ll make sure no consumer has to go through this again.

We have had Laura and her team clean our home bi weekly for two years. In that time she has been open, honest and flexible. When I get home after work I am always happy with the work she and her team has done. On the very rare occasion anything has been missed she has rectified it as soon as she could, and the situation has been handled with grace and composure. I would (and have) recommend Laura and her team if you want a thorough and complete job done. She is not the least expensive company it there, but she IS one of the best. Thank you and keep up the good work.

We have been clients of Maid to Shine for 2 year now...My house looks amazing after they come. I have a great relationship with the owner. She is easy to get along with, she is felixable with my schedule and guess above and beyond to please... Couldnt recommended her and her company any more :)

Regardless how well Maid 2 Shine has cleaned your place in the past, never employ them for a “move-out” cleaning unless you have very deep pockets. This cleaner will not hesitate to take you to the cleaners.

Last month I was in a dilemma and needed my home cleaned right away as I had been renovating and having company visiting the following day upon returning from camp. I saw this company online so I decided to call. Laura was very accommodating and understanding and she sent a team to my home on very short notice after business hours and the girls did a fantastic job. When I opened my door it smelled clean and fresh, there wasn't a spot of dust or dirt. All the drywall dust disappeared. My toaster even was cleaned! She asked the size of my home and came up with a reasonable quote and I felt like I actually got a deal considering how good my house looked. She even called a couple days after and asked if I was still satisfied with the results. I've read some of the reviews and I have to say those people have it wrong. There were no hidden fees, incomplete work or poor workmanship. The quality is top shelf. I was thoughouly impressed and I am planning on hiring her team once the next phase of my renovations are complete. Thanks Laura and your team of lovely ladies!

Communication was unprofessional from the initial contact with Laura. She gave excuses that she was out of town and her phone was “dying”, she didn’t have her schedule in front of her the next time we spoke and was generally disorganized. She promised me a team of four people for two hours at a cost of $240.00. Keep in mind, this was a “move in” clean and most of the rooms have no furniture in them and I had already cleaned all cupboards and closets. Two women showed up this morning, not four as promised, and Laura was one of those absent. The two ladies were very personable, I must say. Apparently Laura had a stomach flu. The cleaning job was unprofessional and incomplete. I have pictures to show the poor work. Laura’s response was, again, an excuse. She said, in a message, that she was sorry but her employees needed more training and, of course, she couldn’t be here as she was ill. She offered me a $25.00 reduction on the next service which was to be $90.00 on a bi-weekly clean. I have contacted another cleaning company and informed her that her services are no longer required. Buyer beware!

I have always been impressed with the quality of work, her staff and the professionalism of her business. Her team is very friendly and thorough.
