The whole crew came to my house in Moose Creek. They did an amazing and professionnal job. They took care of the old oil furnace and replaced it with a new propane one. They work rapidly and efficiantly making sure to have everything done in one day. They texted me the morning of the install to let me know they were coming. The estimator was most pleasant, professional yet easy going, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and courteous. We just moved to Cornwall and we weren't going with Reliance (that company from hell)... so we were open to local HVAC companies and Walker ClimateCare over delivered on our expectations. Setting us up with a maintenance package the is very affordable and the piece of mind which only a local company can provide. I can deal face to face (COVID restrictions in mind) if help/maintenance/service is required. I've needed to replace a furnace in the dead of winter and I would never want to put my family through that experience again with Reliance. I will always go local and Walker ClimateCare are more than adequate to provide that piece of mind. The technician on this most recent visit was very competent and professional, during his visit I learnt that he used to own his an HVAC company (just goes to show the kind of professionals Walker hire). Could not ask for more knowledgeable technicians and the office staff are very helpful and follow through on all aspects (confirming service date, polite and friendly).

Brock and Harrison did a great job installing my new tankless water heater. They were very friendly and good humored, especially for a Monday morning. They encountered a few small challenges during the installation which they explained to me in detail BEFORE any work was done which I greatly appreciated. Together, we discussed possible solutions and we were able to find something that I was happy with. They kept their masks on the whole time even though they mostly worked in a room away from the rest of the house and did a great job cleaning up at the end.

We called last night thinking we might have an emergency, a technition called us right away and it turned out that it wasn't an emergency they suggested to save money by holding of until today to make an appointment. Do not call these guys for a repair. They will try and convince you to buy an entirely new machine instead. Not only will they not know how to fix the problem, they will charge you $125 for the misdiagnosis too. They said the repairs for my furnace would be upwards of $700 with a 4 week wait time, but that I could get a new furnace by Monday if I let them know right away. This is a cheap urgency sales tactic to try and pressure you into making a rushed decision. I called another company and they fixed the problem on the spot. It did not cost $700 either. It cost $85. Save yourself some money and headache and avoid these guys for any service work. Companies like this are why HVAC gets a bad name and it's a shame as there are so many honest workers and companies out there. Walker ClimateCare will try and take advantage of you.

We belong to the WeCare program with Walker Climate Care. They do yearly maintenance on our equipment and are on standby 24/7 if an emergency should arise. It is a comfort to know that everything is working up to par and if any small issues are noted, they may be repaired/replaced before a major issue/cost occurs. Our furnace, fireplace and heat pump were installed by them a few years ago. Today, they installed a tank-less hot water heater. A big shout out of thanks to Josh and Matt for the installation. First thing is that this review is based in the company itself. The tech that attended was great and very professional. As for the company itself, that’s a different story. Started off by paying upfront the part that was needed as well as purchasing the climate care monthly subscription, $11 per month. Was told that I would receive a call about booking an installation appointment after the first service call. After a month I contacted Walker climate care and was told that they needed to get an update and to expect a call back. I waited and called back again 3 weeks later getting the same “have to get an update and expect a call back”. Waited another 3 weeks, nothing! Called and spoke to a Mgr who acknowledged the delays and was apologetic. I was told that they would personally look into it and would let me know in a couple days. No call back. Finally I called and cancelled the part that was ordered, cancelled the monthly climate care and requested a refund of the pre purchased part. The poor customer service was very surprising for a company with such great reviews!

They arrived in the morning and by mid afternoon the fireplace was installed, the gas lines modified, electrical connection done and everything working great. We have one minor problem in as much as there is a small gap not covered by the "glowing coals" which we only noticed after their departure. The installers were great to come in on time, and let us know what was going on through the whole process. They also looked after the removal of our old furnace and oil tank. Any issues they had, they let us know, and also found the best and easiest way for complete change over. After the install was done, they spent time showing us what each unit was, and how the system worked, and answered all questions. Also there was one small item forgotten, and was dropped off the very next day. "We said we would swing in", but they were right down the road the next day, and saved us a trip.

However, I booked one month in advance for HVAC and Heating maintenance which Walker had installed and serviced for over 5 years. I confirmed all parts were in stock at that time. One week before service, they called to have me order the HVAC cartridge as they no longer had one in stock and could not find the part number. The person handling that call was told they should have the part number in their system. They found the part number but apologized that they might not be able to perform the HVAC maintenance as planned due to lack of filter cartridge part they had previously confirmed they had in stock. Then they had the audacity to try and sell a service plan for $10/month. HVAC still not serviced.

Disappointing experience... I called Walker Climate Care to have my gas fireplace serviced and they offered me a 12 point cleaning for 149$ and that they would look at the fan which had been making some loud noises. Great! The technician arrived and pulled out the fan to get the part number and put it back in. He said it must be broke and needed to be replaced. He said a new one was around 400$ but would have to check the price. He left after 30 minutes and did not take anything apart or do any cleaning. My wife plugged the fan back in and it worked fine so we thought maybe something was dislodged when he took it out. It was not broken as he told us. Later that day I get a call from them saying that I owe 141$ +tax for the service call which they said was 76 minutes long. I explained that he was there for less than 30 minutes to get the part number and that he didn’t clean anything? The receptionist said that they only charged me for the diagnostic which was 141$ and not the cleaning (149$) to save me money and that they planned on doing the cleaning (149$) when they returned to install the part. So they were going to double charge me the 141$ to take the part number and the 149$ to do the cleaning when they returned and claimed that this was to my benefit as it saved me 8$ but in reality would cost me an extra 141$.... I informed her that there was no need to order the part as the fan was working but she said that they already ordered it and that to cancel we had to pay a 20% restocking fee of 426$ which we never were quoted and never agreed to. This conversation was also less than an hour after the visit. We paid the “diagnostic fee” and agreed to go out separate ways when a few days later I have 3 missed calls from them saying we didn’t pay and still owe them money! Finally when we told them that we have the banking info from the e-transfer they backed off and agreed that we had paid. Revised 2021-01-21 After posting the above review the manager from the company contacted me. Unlike the receptionist, she was very cordial, understanding and apologetic. She offered a refund and a cleaning service which was carried out professionally by Ed and Josh who were very pleasant. Had the earlier experience not occurred my review would have been 4 or 5 stars. I have increased the rating from 1 to 3 stars as a result of the much improved customer service.

Last summer our AC did not work they charged us 1200.00 to change a piece and put coolant in, this summer it does not work again and we had someone else take a look, this model has a recall on it and Walker never told us about. After Jason's inspection, Darcy came by to provide an estimate for some new equipment, which is being installed next week. Excellent service, but that is what we have always received from Walker ClimateCare. Monday morning bright and early the guys were onsite and set to work installing our new furnace, tankless hot water and water conditioner. Then I find out that the furnace is not working I call before its closed and pretty much told tomorrow. Customer service tried to tell me I need to read the manual and that they will bring me one. REVISED REVIEW - The day of the original appointment, Walker Climate Care called to reschedule. I had already stayed home to wait. On the rescheduled appointment, I was disappointed by the "diagnostic" visit which cost $141.25 tax in. The tech was unsure of the work required and made a verbal quote of over $1000 to change 3 small copper connections. No work was performed and I posted an unsatisfactory review. I then received a call from Kelly who is knowledgeable on radiant floor systems and a more "reasonable" quote was provided. An experienced technician came out to do this simple repair. All said and done, it cost me 3 afternoons of wait time and $463 tax incl to replace a couple of connections and a 10 cent o-ring.

Called cause my central air kicked out in the middle of a heat wave and lucky me there was a technician available right away! Leo came and fixed it and started cooling down instantly. Definitely our hero today!

I would recommend walker climate care to anyone looking to get a furnace installed. We had a new furnace , air conditioner and tankless hot water system installed. The gentlemen that performed the install did a great job. They were very professional and clean . They had put down carpets to protect my floors and we're very careful to not hit my walls. The great service started when Darcy there salesman came to discuss what they had to sell us. He explained in detail every unit what they did and how each unit would help us save. He went through the prices and let us make our own decisions. He was very friendly and wanted what was best for us and not him. We are very thankful for this. We used to call on a different company for our gas fireplaces maintenance. This year, walker climate care did it. Woow, I clearly had no idea what a proper maintenance was! Marc, the technician pretty much took them completely appart, did a very thorough job, and was very friendly and professional. Our fireplaces never looked that clean!

Central AC broke down 1 month after being serviced, I was told it was dirty and asked if I live on a farm.... than told it would of been good to install a fence around unit 9 years after install.....being quite upset I asked if this was under warranty, the manager said he could try but would still charge me 1000$ for rebuilding unit. I called back a few times speaking to Kim, and leaving messages for someone to call me back, also sent a few emails no response.... I’m being forced to keep paying the wecare monthly plan even if I want to Cancel the payments, I was offered to pay the full year 400$ since I signed The contract. Just shows they donc care about the customer but they want your Money and do not give the service.....

Service technician Michael attended this service call on Thursday January 7th. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and provided a lot of knowledge to help understand the system, its functionality and made recommendations. His conclusion was a faulty propane regulator and suggested we contact our provider. Our provider attended stating that these older regulators "were notorious for freezing up". Michal had made a very professional and knowledgeable assessment of the issue with our current problem. He also took the time to set up automatic programming for winter/summer months so we do not have to constantly alter temperatures. We would never have been able to do this. We are very appreciative to Michael for taking the time to educate us, to make recommendations which were bang on, and we thank him and WALKER for their excellent service.
