We've got the feddbacks of real people who purchase the products of Canadian Tire (Cleaning Company) in the territory close to Corner Brook (Canada).
Currently the firm receives a score of 3.8 stars over 5 and the score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is quite good, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Cleaning Company is classified in the category of Department store.
Tiny and cramped, but it'll do in a pinch.
Hard to find anyone working besides cashier's.
Great!
Staff are useless with little knowledge of products and availability.
A large Canadian Tire. Definitely has a good collection of stuff. One of few Canadian Tires on the west coast.
Got just what I wanted. Store staff was very helpful.
Great employee's
They had nothing in stock. And one of the managers there seemed pretty "useless" when I asked him some questions. Overall bad experience. Mind you the students that worked there were very nice.
The store had a facelift and looks great! Items are stocked and easy to find. Summer of ‘21.
costumer service stinks big time in store and phone
Great service. Good prices
Love the store
Nice reorganization and few higher end brands added
The Elliot Lake online service is a joke. When I placed an order online at 11:30 am, the Point Of Sale online inventory shows they had plenty of the item on stock. My store pick up was assigned as the following day. I immediately received a notice that the order is being process. I noticed the store inventory started to decrease slowly. The next morning, I noticed the store inventory slowly decreasing to ZERO. At 12:30 pm, I received an email that my order has been CANCELLED ( not by me ) and no rain check. Why did they fill my online order at the last second??? Filed compliant with a reference number to the corporate office. No response from them either. Everywhere else, Canadian Tire is doing a fine job building their online pickup service. Not here in Elliot Lake.
Good luck finding a worker to help you.
Bought AA batteries.
Got some really good deals.
In the right spot at the right time
No space to move around
It was the best everyone was so helpful
All right
It was ok but could have better experience.
They have most everything I need, the staff are far from helpful.
Not fit
While Canadian Tire is a great store, it is often under staffed...
Same old Chinese stuff as any other store in North America
Would’ve given 5 stars, but sometimes it’s very hard to locate items or find assistance
I had some issues this last time I went there, however as I was leaving the parking lot in my vehicle, one of the older women that works there asked if she could help me. And I was able to get my $200 item. It's a very busy place, the staff is hit or miss, the good ones are so busy they don't get to stop.. while the other ones stand and look at the wall. I would go back, but it's hit or miss.
Great place to get garden supplies, tools, sports equipment, or even to get your car fixed at the garage, but it is pretty expensive in there for my liking
Top notch service and deals
Large store with lots of selection... but zero customer service. Waited around 15 mins at service counter to give them my keys for my appointment to get my tires changed. Then it took them 2 hours to change my tires with only 2 or 3 cars in the garage. So they weren't busy.
Was in bicycle section for 1 hour and 10 mins waiting for help
Always have whatever you want to down to the most particular item, its amazing
Wide variety of products for anything, outdoors and indoors. Like tools, sports, fishing, tenting, building supplies and much more! Along with their car service. ???? Since 1922!
3 things I want to comment on; 1. The staff in 99% are very nice and helpful but VERY UNDER staffed. The 1% sucks when the manager is not available. 2. The items on sale are poorly marked, often NOT on shelf, nor is the price. The store itself, is too small. 3. The electronic price check is a joke; If I want to check the price guess what? It directs me to check the price elsewhere!? I don't shop there if I can help it. I avoid it if I can help it but most times...I don't have a choice. The entire structure and function as a store TOTALLY SUCKS!!!
Didn't have what I wanted
Good location good selection okay prices but unbelievably busy at lunchtime today. What the...????
Good tool selection, good hunting selection as well as manly man and outdoorsman sort of the like
Service here was awesome.
Great selection
It's a nice store has much of everything I've been looking for and the staff is pretty good too. :-)
Reasonable and good quality
Always love visiting Canadian tire.
Had good help from the plumbing department Saturday
Terrible. Went several times over the summer to buy high end items that showed in stock but "can't be found." Some staff is fabulous, others are quite inefficient. One of the worst Canadian Tire stores I've shopped at.
As someone just trying to see if they have a 2017 Honda Civic spare tire, including myself and 9 other customers were waiting for a long time. The employees completely disregard the phone line so for anyone trying to call - don't bother. A customer in front of me complained about waiting for an hour just trying to return something. If anyone needs an automotive service I highly reccommend somewhere local - like OK tire or Power tires.
My Hubby's Favorite Store
Typical Canadian Tire, but a little cleaner and friendlier than most.
The service is always great thanks to Doug
Quick, friendly service, they were very helpful at the automotive desk. The cashier was very friendly as well. Great store, great service.
I have always found the staff friendly and helpful, and the range of products is great.
This place should be shut down due to the lack of customer service...it's a poor excuse for a Canadian tire when you can't get assistance in buying something due to lack of employees or they are hiding
Typical Canadian Tire
Customer service is staffed with inexperienced employees that really don’t know their job and provide pretty poor service. Very frustrating. I won’t hurry back.
Excellent prices when the item is on sale.
They were very friendly and helpful but they didn't have what I wanted.
Usually able to pick up what you went in for - nice quantity of stock . Hard to find staff(because they're so busy), when you do they are helpful …
There is no one there on the floor to help you . A big store with no employees to serve you. Only 1 cash opened to do sales and refunds . Absolutely nobody in parts , and if there is , they are to lazy to go upstairs and find the item . Had to come back ,when there is a different person there hopefully they will look .I'm talking about a tunnel cover that showed it was in stock and said there were none . Saying , I'm the only one here and dont have time , here we are talking about 1000.00 item that the store lost out due to a lack of laziness. Had to buy at another store .
Good sevive
Good place
It's a CTC - not enuf staff or they r all hiding
Not a fan. I never get help from staff..ever....never a greeting or friendly face. They always make you feel like your in their way! Cashiers have been pleasant tho.
Always our favorite stores.
Website is terrible. Phone calls not always worth your time. Online stock levels are just lies since they never do inventory counts. Worst location I've ever seen. Multiple let downs and disappointments. They need new management.
Just another Bad Experience, Employees have time to group together and chat but no time to clean there filthy Washroom. The cleaning schedule list had not a single entry written down thus leaving it the only thing left unmarked X.X 3 Employees I seen failed to have there Mandatory Mask on. Compared to other Canadian Tire locations I've been to in Canada this one has a overstock of Products which keeps it looking Cluttered and Unorganized.
Clean, lots of inventory. Hard to get help to find what you need. Friendly cashiers.
Don't know about other locations, but avoid this one - I do whenever I can.
Great customer service
Excellent service
Long line ups. Not enough staff.
Terrible place for customer service. Don't go in here if your in a hurry. They have so many things behind lock and key in the tool section and finding anyone to help you open the cases is near impossible. I went in for 1 socket and was in there for 45 minutes looking for someone to open the case. Is is really nessacaery to lock up the indavidule sockets and not the socket sets?
Excellent store, helpful staff, lots of inventory
Decent amount of hardware. Darn busy in there since covid hit though. The lines are long sometimes. Still has decent sales though.
It's frustrating that the actual store isn't open but I went to canadiantire.ca is an easy option. ????
Staff always helpful and pleasant
Staff were helpful when I returned an item bought earlier. Other staff were helpful in finding items we were searching for.
This is a smaller store than I am used to but they seem to have a fairly good selection of items. They are in the process of changing shelves at the moment
Never have a problem shopping here
Great customer service. Very friendly and helpful
Always great service.
Had trouble finding product, found peter who helped me and was very polite and a++++
Droped a tire off to be repaired at 9am. to pickup at 11am. When I got there at 11am it was not even touched! Besides they wanted $20 . to just put it back on the car. On top of the $38 to fix it.. so I took it to Choice Tire got it done for $28. put back on. So i will never go back there again.. There service dept.. needs a major over haul.. Starting with the service manager..
The staff may not be properly trained in customer service ... I work as a merchandising manager in Calgary & would love to work there and be a part of their team ... who knows things could change with new faces and what to say to customers when they want to know about a product o if they don't know they there are computers to access that knowledge ...
Great auto and in store service. Like small town.
Terrible service, not very nice at all! They called a manager to help answer my question and no one would show up... Only good person to deal with there is tim.
I have been calling over an hour to the Canadian Tire store in Corner Brook Newfoundland. It is disgusting that nobody can answer the phone there or if they answer the phone they hang up on me. I am still calling this store with no success. Very dissatisfied if there was a star for zero I would have clicked it. I finally got through to customer service she was very rude by laughing because I asked to speak to the manager immediately. So is this Canadian Tires way to treat their customers especially considering I only have 60% mobility of my legs and needed this little blower right away. Very very rude customer service person and she needs to be fired for her ignorance in laughing at me.
Only curbside pickup
the staff are useless..just hired help with zero knowledge of any product
Customer service is bad and you can never find anyone to help you! I only gave it one star because you can't give it any less than that!
I found the young man I dealt with was very helpful friendly.
Friendly
It makes elliot liveable i guess
Helpfull
Lots of stock for sale items.
Plenty of the sale items I needed in stock, Mr. Martin runs a good ship
Usually can get what you need here
Nothing to say. Will travel to Espanola anytime!
Had awesome service from the paint dept. Helped me find everything I needed.
Selection and prices are decent, however it is nearly impossible to find an associate when needed.
Nice people
Find it hard to find things and things are sold out to quick. But apparently they are getting a renovation. Hopefully this will change things.
Purchased coffee maker and small ottoman. The young man who helped us as very friendly and had excellent customer service skills
I would give zero stars if it was possible. My wife wrote an email complaint to the store owner last week about a terrible experience we had with the clerk who was on duty at the service desk. Have not heard a word from the owner as of yet, five days later. I noticed that the owner only seems to respond to the good reviews on the web site. Some of the staff need retraining in the customer service department. I will no longer be shopping here in Elliot Lake at this Canadian Tire store, I will now be going to Espanola if I really need anything from Canadian Tire.
Online inventory indicates one or two items but when you get to the store there are none.
It's ok. Hard to find help. Need more staff.
CORNER BROOK TODAY LOOKING FOR ODD AND END WALMART NEVER HAD ANY GOOD OLD CANADIAN TIRES BAM...FOUND WHAT I NEED
Pretty standard CT. Seems like it's understaffed though
Anything you need from outdoor to indoor
Maybe if they would actually answer their phones it could be a good store. 45 minutes calling and no answer in any department. I'm not up to driving 3 hours without knowing if the object I'm looking for is even there. Awesome customer service.
Clean store. Helpful, but elusive staff.
I’ve shopped here for 6 months and I won’t step foot in there anymore. The store has no general manager and it shows . I highly doubt anyone at the store will read this. The store is crammed with inventory on the floor, the staff don’t care. The automotive dept is very frustrating, it took them 1.5 hours to do a 15 mom oil change AND I had an appointment in the morning (9:30am)
The staff was extremely helpful, thank you.
Good
My toy store
Not a store for everyone but one of m favourites.
Big store , alot of products
I was on the phone for a very long time before anybody picked up. But when I was finally answered the worker was very helpful and polite. Great service just the phone needs a little more attention
Positive
Great store
Completely useless since covid. You might as well shop at Amazon as you will get better service there. Nobody will answer the phone and if they do, they'll just transfer you to someone that doesn't answer their phone. Update: I called the number that was given to me. It's just a generic Canadian Tire phone number. I was put on hold. Probably "because of Covid".
Was in quite a long line up and only two cashiers open.not good for a thursday.
Gas bar workers are very friendly and nice people. Enjoy going there every time. Rolly is a very nice lady.
It's a Canadian tire. It is a great place to shop if you like to spend a lot of money . Lol . Always something you catch your eye at CT.
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, they do the best they can with the limited space they have. One cashier, who I assume is the head cashier, is extremely rude and overbearing. On several occasions I've witnessed her belittle and berate other cashiers and customers, including myself on one occasion. I've heard her talk about customers who were only a few feet away at the next cash register. She needs to be fired ASAP. I WILL be talking to the manager the next time I witness such disgusting degrading behaviour. It's nice to see the new managers fire some of the other ignorant people especially those who worked in the parts department for so long.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good selection. The associate in automotive even helped us pumping up our tires although we just asked for the nearest tire pressure check station.
It was okay ????
Complete joke. Staff has no idea what's in stock and if they do they have no clue where it is. Then when you ask them to find something they hide till you leave. Assuming you can even get an employee to acknowledge you at all.
Good luck today.
Helpful staff and the cashier was incredibly kind.
Great store. Helpful people.
Great deals
Poorest customer service. Exasperated and rude from the go. No smile no service. Don't bother asking questions.
Big store. Has everything you need!
I like the fact that other retail stores seem to be shying away from guns and things of the sort but our canadian tire just redid their hunting section with new selection of guns, better variety of ammunition, clothing and pretty much everything else in the sporting section. They really did a good job. I like it.
Typical town Canadian Tire. Trying to have everything for everyone, so maximizing inventory space means smaller isles and crowded isle-ways. Found what we wanted. Had a wide variety of winter equipment stacked in the seasonal outdoor covered section. Checkout staff was nice.
If you like to spend money for nothing...get your car fixed here! They do the bare minimum. I brought my car into them to fix an issue because my rear tires wore down to the cords so they made me buy 4 tires ($581) instead of just two because I have an AWD and they said the issue was caused by a worn bushing so I paid them $400 to fix it and then 7k kms later my rear tires were worn down to the cords again and it cost me another $251 to replace them AGAIN and they said oh well we thought that the bushing was the issue. They misinformed me because they said there was no alignment needed in the rear. I have never had any luck with Canadian Tire mechanics ripping me off and Elliot Lake is no exception!
Live visiting Canadian Tire. Best variety. Prices are a little expensive. Lots of sale items.
Great store
Great mech finally at this store
Love this place
I was returning an item that was faulty and I was treated like a criminal it took 45 mins and the employee called her mgr and he hmmd and hawed. I was getting furious by this point, I mean wow really. Really realty bad service. I have spent a lot of money there and to be treated that way just ridiculous.
What a nice change. The New owner was actually on the floor. Helping customers, setting up new merchandise. This it's a welcome positive change.
Staff are inattentive, if you need assistance you'll be waiting a long time.
I do not know how Canadian tire Corner Brook is in business. Items are never in stock even knowing online says it is. You have to spend quite a time looking for a sales associate and they are useless. There is only one person at the store that i finds helpful and its the older man that's i believe is part of the management team. He dose his best and usually find an item. the rest of the staff is either to lazy or has the items pocked away for themselves. The online inventory cannot be wrong all the time especially for 4 missing tv's. I would like someone to call me back but its pointless.
The staff here is so courteous and helpful!
Terrible wait in line, one cashier opened, I was 8th in line with about 30 people behind me.
Good service
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Customer service is a joke. No one helps. I bought winter tires and got changed TWICE. When I called them they said they can’t give back the money to me. They put the SECOND charge through WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! (Almost a week after the first transaction) which is absurd. Also the managers can never seem to do anything. I will never shop here again. Their automotive workers are a joke, they will do and say anything to get more money from you. Canadian tire does not care about customers. I Will never recommend their automotive department to anyone, ever.
They never have stock
Staff were very helpful
Great all round shopping
Great selection. Not enough staff.
Great staff
I was so disappointed with Canadian Tire in Corner Brook! Two employees ignored me when I asked for help and then I had to go back and get a picture of the cost for the chain that I was purchasing. There was approximately 5 or 6 employees …
This is the worse Canadian tire I have been in The fellow in automotive laughed at is cause it was going to take so long to fix our car and that we would have to spend 2 weeks in a Hotel saying Wow that is going to cost you a lot obviously these posts are not going to change their attitude but did want to let anybody from out of town to avoid this Canadian at all costs I am like a lot of people that have wrote reviews if there was a 0 I would have clicked it
Great service
Take your time it does get a little troublesome trying to find things or even trying to find help. But hang in there you'll find what your looking for
Very Very slow! And they are rude. Is 6h not enough time to get a 1 item order ready? Not good.
Difficult to find someone to help you in the store.
Employees really helpful
A lot of variety there
This place is a nightmare. Can never find anyone to help you and always massive line ups at the 1 check out they have open. Shop elsewhere if at all possible.
They had what i needed
I have noticed that in the past year or two, prices for many Mastercraft tools have increased quite a lot - sometimes as much 50%. The business transitioned to new ownership recently, and I don't know if this is the cause, or if it's just another result of our Covid-ravaged economy. You used to be able to get some good deals at Canadian Tire, but they're much harder to come by now.
It's hard to find help. Never enough staff.
What can you say about CT. Lots of gear. Sometimes slow service. Same everywhere else.
there customer service is not there main concern, poor management or very little or no management , you would think that there customers would be there # 1, concern,,
The usual with not being able to find a red shirt for help.
It took a longer time frame than it should have to get my new tires - well over a week and a half so I wasn't happy. The Parts Services staff to me weren't exceptionally helpful or willing to do more to get the order delivered
Found what i was looking for quickly and easily store was clean checkout staff polite.
Place isent fit worse service ever staff dont seam to care
They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!! It just rings and rings and rings. I Have tried every department, including Corporate!!! No Answer!
This store is a waste of time . I try to shop local however they never have the sale stuff out. Hardly ever carry what I need . I find myself having to go to Espanola to get items that should be in stock for a sale .
Wow you don't want to leave. There is so much stock and verity.
What lacks in supplies they make up in customer service! Edit 2021: Best prices for fishing gear, and very helpful staff. Big line ups since covid, but I'm glad they're open again!
I own a mobility bike and they moved a display so that I can get out easily good store good people.
My first carb cost me 23 bucks ,they may cost a bit more this is my go to for any thing to fix the house the staff are friendly and will be glad to help you got good parts and auto repair ,gas bar and every thing for the home and car .
I have been the last 4 days trying to contact this store by phone. Can anyone confirm that this store has a working phone? If they do not, they could probably buy their own overpriced phone and maybe help out customers who try to call. On the off chance that the phone does work, an employee picks it up only for me to hear them complain and slam the phone back down. I have also uploaded a picture of a phone that you carry. It is supposedly a "Best Seller" and "Tested for life in Canada." Maybe this could be a future purchase for your own store.
Good
Lots of stuff but where it's an older store tight fitting in walkways
They didn't have much of what I went there to find. What they did have was very overpriced. The staff was not very knowledgeable about their store or the departments they were responsible for.
I would like to know why Canadian Tire Corner Brook doesn't limit the number Of customers in its store like other retailers do! I was just in there and was shocked at how many customers were walking around! Isn’t there a regulation in place that should be followed??
(Translated) Do not make any major repairs there except for the oil change and still take care. (Original) Ne pas faire de grosse réparation à cet endroit à part le changement d'huile et faire quand même attention.
Was ok on stock had to order still
I live in Ontario and I have to say that I was impressed with this CT. Well located and so well organized.
I love Canadian tire but corner brooks customer service is the worst. They supposedly take mail orders for people away, but they won't even answer the phone...this is my third day trying to buy a kayak, and so today someone Finally picked up only to hang it back up on me! I'm done! I will take my money elsewhere. Don't waste your time
Handyman's place of choice
Love this place!!! The new owner certainly has made this store an amazing place to shop.
Great. Was very helpful. Got me in and out very fast
Excellent store. Love the sporting department!
Reg the Manager is so helpful. Really friendly guy who goes out of his way to help .
Well organized, fast service with social distancing.
No issues. Keep ur receipt.
Good place, hard to get help
Has awesome sales
Great spot and prices
Local, in stock, friendly staff
Good
Staff was very helpful when finding my merchandise. However the item was very dirty with dust and the cashier was very inexperienced...
Helpful and friendly staff!!!!
Frustrating
Well layed out, friendly staff
Ordered tires online Monday. Online stock showed tires were in store and should be ready by 1:00 pm. Was told they should be ready by 5 pm. Waited some time, then went home as they were unlikely to be ready that day. For next several days, called periodically for the purchased tires to only be told 'we'll get back to you,' (never did) and 'they are almost ready,' (never were). Next night, I was trying to cancel the order to prevent the charge to my card going through, only to find the online website was down. Customer service stated there was nothing they could do until the website was back up. Following this, I called the online support line (the most helpful portion of the crew) who was kind enough to inform me the tires were neither in store, nor ever ordered. Tires were canceled through the support line, and once again in forced my opinion of Canadian tire automotive.
Its rare to have a fast parts in canadian tire but they do
Great discounts and great product
**SEE EDIT (Knowledgeable staff especially in the auto department, never hard to find someone to help you. They have a lot of inventory but that being said, the negative is narrow isles throughout the store. You can barely push a cart without banging into corners which I find difficult with three young children, so it's noticeable for me.) **EDIT when I was asked to write a review, I mistakenly thought it was for the Canadian Tire in Espanola. The review in brackets is for the Espanola location and the difference is that the isles are not as narrow or difficult to navigate in Elliot Lakes' Canadian Tire and I would not have removed a star from my rating.
Huge selection of tools and not bad prices
nice new store
Great service I would give it a big 10
Love it, excellent garden centre
no one there wants to answer the phone , poor customer service . will be taking my business somewhere else
Great.service
needs more staff.at the automotive parts counter.
Seen kbe seen them all. Can always find what Im looking for.
Nice and big
It's hard to find help or get questions answered.
Great place
I went in with a simple issue, and expected to pay somewhere around $50 to have it resolved. However, Wade and James sorted me out so quickly and cheaply my head spun! They were personal, informative, and helped me so quickly! I'm especially grateful to James, who gave me a few tips for driving in Newfoundland, helped me even though it was lunch hour, AND helped me sort out my antifreeze. Would give these guys 10/5 stars if I could! Thanks so much!
Everything I need at my fingertips
excellent service
Has everything I need
Great store but lacks employees for help
Lorraine was very helpful. Found everything I was looking for.
Very hard to get people to help you at this store
On every Sunday morning, one of the busiest time, they only have 1 cashier before 10 am. Do not shop before then because you will have a minimum 45 minute wait should you be customer number two. This was my case and it piss me off.
They keep moving stuff around no sale stickers up and had to pay full price for oil that was on sale
We usually wait until we go to Sudbury to buy most things we need since this store is small and has a limited amount of merchandise to pick from. The Canadian Tire store in Sudbury is the size of a Costco and has plenty of product options.
Brutal service. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
Don't wear a red polo shirt when you go here, other customers will keep asking you to help them find stuff, because actual staff are impossible to find. The prices are low, but you often get what you pay for. The store really needs an in-depth inventory done. The website will show an item in stock (as of today's date) but when you go to get it, the item is not available. For example, went looking for a 18g brad nail variety pack (item 058-8485-2) which shows on the website as having one available. It was not... the space it was supposed to be in had an old (discontinued) pack of 2" brad nails instead.
If you're in Elliot Lake and need anything, as always Canadian Tire is a great choice. They're well stocked and have very helpful staff, especially Reed, who offers grest customer service, willing to go above and beyond to help the customer.
Friendly
Now here is a Canadian tire that has everything that you need under one roof and more! We enjoyed our visit here, lots of snow, a real winter wonderland.
Management good to deal with
Was an awesome experience very good very good help
Amazing store
Everytime I go into this particular store I cannot find anything that's posted on their website even if it shows to be in-stock. The help there is minimal. No one knows anything or where to find something and they make no attempt in searching. Either they need to hire experienced people or those who like to work.
Lousy customer service and no one seems to know how to answer a phone or show a customer where an item is.....smarten up please! Customer service is everything!
Always lots to look at for your home. Got a good deal on Timothy's K- cup pods.
Good store. Can get busy and have long waits at cash some times. When you can get an associate they are mostly helpful. They do seem a little understaffed at times.
They always have what you want with excellent service
Staff needs to smile more and be more friendlier
High department store in Murphy's Square in Corner Brook NL. It has all the same as other CTC store in canada
Good selection of most things. Only complaint is they don't carry shear pins for their own snowblower.
its lots in there to pick from
If you can't find it in aisle or it's behind a locked door good luck getting someone to help you. Waited 30 min s after they paged someone twice... Poor service.
surprisingly helpful staff helped me find what i needed
Good
They also sell tires and have mechanics. In the summer they have a garden centre. As It's a tiny building, well, compared to the monster stores that are being built now. They pack a lot in that little space. Sometimes it's only one or two of an item which can suck if three people need the same thing in the same day. Everyone who works here is great. They know where everything is and are more than happy to help. Also. I have to say they are always fully staffed. You can always find someone. Well it's rhe only one in Elliot lake and the next one is an hour away so it's the best bet.
Great service :)
Found what I was looking for. All good
Staff are friendly the service is good. The only complaint was the space between isles.
Going through renos and no one knows where anything is.
Nice to go into the store.always great service .
Hard to find anybody to help you out .
Not enough staff
Just wanted to get a price on something and had no problems finding it
This location has been pretty amazing during the Pandemic!
Good store
I wanted rotors for my GMC truck so I saw the ad buy one get second one half price sounds good so I called got a price my GMC truck didn't qualify for second one halff price ????? But I needed them the guy on parts gave me a price and said they were in stock so I drove 10kms to the store goes up to the parts counter gave him the details I said I called earlier he said I remember now went in back came back and said sorry we don't have them but it is showing that there are 2 in stock this is the sixth time that this as happen to me in this same store so I am a little pissed not at the guy on the counter but by Canadian tires inventory and this will not happen a seventh time
Typical Canadian Tire store, good staff, but handicapped by small store size.
Return a defective product without any hassle. Great customer service!
Favorite place to go
Last 2 visits where excellent. Very very pleasant and professional service.
Small store but clean and well stock for the size of store.
Would like to give the staff at your store a big thumbs up especially the guy that was in the sporting goods very helpful in getting our ammunition for us but the biggest part was the friendly service hope you appreciate your staff you …
Love Canadian Tire! Can find just about everything I want there!
Great ppl helping
Great
Not bad
Considerably smaller than most modern stores, but it has a good selection of what you need, also has a gas bar
Small Canadian tire and great service. Kudos!
Great
Great little local CTC. Nice friendly helpful staff with quick service. Gas bar available here too.
Excellent
Lots of helpful staff. Very direct and to the point. Lots of variety for a medium sized town Canadian tire. Garage has been known to overcharge but is always ready to make it right when you notice the issue! Always has some sort of sale event happening. Most of the grocery carts have seat belts that aren’t broken which is a great change when you have two little ones to bring in. Great for rain checks. Auto parts staff is a bit understaffed at times but for the most part is very knowledgeable. We frequent here almost every week and very rarely is it a negative shop for us! Overall a great experience Would recommend to any do it yourself-er or auto enthusiast.
Good
Positive experience today with friendly staff... thanks
I was very insulted by an employee today. I stopped to ask an employee where heaters were , she told me but she looked at me with suspicion, which confused me. I suddenly realized she suspected me of stealing. I was very perturbed and seconds later she came with a co-worker and instructed me to take my travel cart to the front of the store. I was not happy and swore as I went to check out my purchases. I was adamant I would not be returning to the store any time soon. I left my complaint at the checkout with my cashier and as it turned out the acting manager was at the next till. The cashier was pleasant and tried to get me to understand it was store policy that all bags and carts be left at the front. After 6 years living here I never knew that. Never saw any of the signs posted throughout the store. As I was leaving I ran into Deb, your wonderful employee. After explaining to her what happened she quickly explained the extreme theft problem within all stores in Elliot but apologised for my experience. She has away about her that makes your day better and brighter. I just wanted to say thanks and I had know idea the problem of theft was so rampant. Suggestion: Maybe the signs could be updated and a little brighter and more noticeable. Also sorry for my rudeness to the other employee, but she could of handled it differently. Signed an enlighten customer and very disappointed with the residents of Elliot Lake who spoil it for everyone. It's 4 Stars now
Staff turnover happens often and staff are not knowledgeable about sales or products.
Shopping here is always a chore. Very poor store layout resulted in cramped and congested aisles. Shelves and features are generally a mess. Frequently items are labeled with the wrong price or have no listed price. Some of the most expensive prices compared to other stores excluding the weekly loss leaders. Staff seems to be always at a minimum and never want to help. Asking for a price on an item with no price will have the worker look at you like you are interrupting them a great deal to take 12 seconds to get a price. Several instances where middle management berate other employees in earshot or view of customers. Very poor professionalism. Do yourself a favour and shop at other stores or buy online.
Good well stocked store. Needs more staff.
Great store.
sad excus of a store , noone wants to help customers , there all hideing , no way to get tire prices . how do they sell anything ,
Clean and lots of inventory
They didn't what I was looking for, sold out, thanks
Is a nice store, good service.
deals were average
Friendly atmosphere but small store. Unable to carry everything.
Great store, not crowded.
Great contents but terrible service and they don't answer the phone
Its ok there. People are easy to find but too busy to effectively help sometimes.
Poor
Good store but like most box stores, customer service leaves something to be desired.
Deadly staff loves going there
On Wednesday 19 February 2020, my wife and I attended the Elliot Lake CTC for the purpose of purchasing snowshoes. We were assisted by a store associate by the name of Terry. This gentleman has the patience of Jobe. He went above and beyond any service we have ever received at any big city CTC. He retrieved at least three different sets (brands) of snowshoes for each of us, and ensured that they fit and that we were comfortable with our purchase. This gentleman is a real credit to his store and should be recognized as such.
Too small, cramped and dingy. They really need a new store. Staff members are terrific however and make it worth going just the same.
Always a deal
Thanks to Tyler and Peter for going over and above customer service to help me get my stuff today!
I have had good experiences with both the store and the auto service. While to store is somewhat cramped I have had reasonable assistance in locating items from staff.
Always great..
Great customer service but the bathroom was disgusting... They have signs everywhere about wearing masks and physical distancing, but the bathroom makes them look like hypocrites.
The help we received was fantastic.
Helpful staff
