I've used Citruso for years personally as well as in my work, helping prepare homes for the market. They are always prompt, efficient and courteous. It is important to have everything thoroughly cleaned and ready to go before they come, When they arrive, they walk through the house to survey the areas to be cleaned and then begin with a pre-cleaning spray everywhere. The end result always smells wonderful and the carpets look better than you would believe, every time. They clean up quickly and the whole process is very tidy. Always delighted. Thanks Citruso!

Mark helped me over the phone and Shane in person, and I was very happy to find that their great service is just as consistent here on the lower mainland! I would pick Citrus-O any ANY day for a few reasons; competitive prices (cheaper for more services than 2 other quotes I had done), no headache or unpleasant/overwhelming off-gassing smell afterwards, quick and efficient service (faster and quicker drying time than the cleaning company I used last year). Citrus-O in Nanaimo have always provided exceptional service and the last time they were here they exceeded them by a mile. My dog, whom we recently had to put down, had been suffering from lymphoma and had defecated all over the carpets due to his illness. We had just had the carpets cleaned two weeks prior and didn't think we would need them again for another 6 months or more. The next opening they had was 4 days away. But Roger, the technician, came late in the evening after having spent the entire day cleaning an apartment tower, to come and clean our carpets. He didn't want us to have to live with the smell in our house for four days. Avoid at all costs. Completely ruined my carpet. Difficult to communicate with. After a month long dispute I've decided to absorb the $170 it cost me to have my carpet destroyed, and have installed laminate flooring. Avoid, avoid, avoid. They aren't accountable at all for their actions, and have blamed the damage on what a previous tenant may or may not have done. Not worth the risk.

Imagine an old farm house that hasn't has it's carpets cleaned for at least 7 years. Kids and cats up and down the stairs. Stains everywhere. Well, I finally got my client to get a carpet cleaner in and Citrus-o did the job. I had to call at the last minute. Literally, on the day I needed the carpet cleaned, they came through with a convenient appointment. They did a fantastic job. Our carpets in our town house were looking much cleaner after we had them cleaned by Citrus-O. The stairs in particular were really dirty after years of wear and they're now looking close to new again. It took about 2 days for the carpets to fully dry given that it's winter and we couldn't keep the windows open all day long. The citrus smell was also quite nice compared to the chemical smell that we've had with other carpet cleanings in the past. While not every stain was removed from the carpets, overall we very happy with the results and the service.

From the moment I called Citrus O to discuss my carpet cleaning needs, I felt like I was in the right hands. Due to the lease, the carpets need to be cleaned every year - I always just thought they looked so bad because they were so old - it turns out, the carpets have just never been cleaned properly. They are the original carpets from the early 90's. Previous tenants have smoked, and there were coffee and wine stains everywhere. After the cleaning was completed (just over an hour and a half for 1200sq/ft) the unit smelt citrusy fresh and never looked so good. Very happy! Thanks Citrus O!

Do not use if you have wool carpets! Our carpet stayed wet and smelled like a barn for days, and remained dirty and discolored. The technician only cleaned for 15 minutes and told me that there was nothing more he could do and that I need to work harder with my vacuum. They do not honor their money-back guarantee, and have ignored all of my follow up communications/complaints.

You see your neighbor getting their carpet cleaned then you think...yeah I need mine cleaned too...So I walked over to the service person and was delightfully surprised by his kindness and courtesy. I was given a number to call and "BANG" surprise again…I was greeted by Bernadette a competent cheerful and helpful person, by the time I finished the call I had a booking, a fair price and a new friend. Then came the appointment day... I was welcomed that morning by an ETA. Within the appointed time Sandy showed up and did the best job he could in the dim lighting provided… another great guy. I am extremely picky so when the furniture dried and the bright sunlight shined I saw the streaking which was impossible for Sandy to see. Thankfully Citrus O supply a 30 day customer satisfaction clause so I arranged another appointment. NO PROBLEM MAN. Within a week they sent their TOP GUN PHIL, which did a slam-dunk of a job. I could not be happier with the hard work they put into making my 20 year-old furniture (which has many fond memories attached to it) look presentable again. THANK YOU MITCH

Disgusting service, they came to clean my couch. Looks more that they only threw water on it. It is full of dirty between the seat pillows that they didn't clean and now the dirty is stuck because they threw water on it before vacuuming. Stains are still there and some areas of the couch dirty. Contacted them, I sent pictures and a video asking for my money back so I actually can use a professional company to have the service done and they are ignoring me.

The worse customer service I have ever experienced! 7 months ago they cleaned my apt and I got a $58 discount and everything went well. Now that I’m moving out, instead of going to the company the building manager recommended I called them (returning customers should be a good thing) I asked if I could get the same price as before and they said no but could offer a $22 discount, I told them I would call the company the manager recommended to know their price and potentially call back. So I called back (2 minutes after) and this time another representative said she could only give me $10 discount and when I asked her to match her colleague’s offer ($22) she got upset said “this is a business and you can’t keep asking for discounts” I told her she shouldn’t be talking to a customer like that and I would give them a bad review on google, after that she said she could offer the $22 discount and I automatically said no thank you!

Called for a quote and the lady I spoke with was so pushy when I told her I wanted to call around to obtain quotes from others. I had to cut her off and explain that I was only calling for a quote and not a lecture about how much better they are than everyone else. Please let your customers make a decision for themselves. It is because of your customer service representatives that I will not use your business. I was quoted $165.90 plus GST for a one bedroom plus den. I thought that seemed high and I wanted to call around to see what other options were out there.

Citrus-O gave me a quote which was fine. Then when I paid I noticed they added a fuel surcharge onto my bill. I wasn't paying attention when I paid it. Why would they add a fuel surcharge? It's crooked. Maybe amazon should just add random fuel surcharges for delivering my packages? Maybe the pizza delivery guy should also add this to my bill? It would be one thing if they mentioned it, but to just underhandedly add this is very unethical. I won't use them again.

Chris from Citrus O did a great job on our carpets and sofas. We have dogs and have had the odd accident and he took care of everything. He had some good recommendations on future pet accidents should they occur. Chris called when he was on the way and was careful with protecting the hardwood floors and other furniture. We had our 5 bedroom homes carpets cleaned. Mainly one floor and some area rugs as the other floors are tile. It appears like they did a good job but $700 for a 3.5 hour job with one worker? That seems excessive. I should have questioned the $300 cost for cleaning a sectional sofa. My mistake for letting us get taken. I assumed that when they quoted that much it would be a full days work but obviously not. In the end they did what they said they would do but it looked a lot simpler than what they made it out to be. Next time I will get another quote or two. Others now have recommended Granville Carpet Cleaning but too late for this time.

Terrible experience with this service. The rep who booked our cleaning did not clarify the scope of the work. When the cleaner arrived they only cleaned 1/4 of the carpets and left the rest, claiming that’s what their work order stated. Who hires carpet cleaning for 1/4 of the carpets? Certainly not me. Was hoping the job would be finished in its entirety. I won’t be using this company for carpet cleaning anymore.

lived 11 years in BC and had multiple carpet cleaners, but this was by far the best result I have ever seen and a great fresh smell afterwards. Every stain gone! and my sons bedroom carpet looked like new. A quick, friendly and very professional tech. Genuinely recommend this service to anyone.

Called for a quote and the lady was so pushy and lecturing me that I won't be able to find another place for that price or anyone else to do my home when I said I would call back after calling some other places. She was rude and wouldn't give me a quote for my upholstery unless I agreed to do carpet cleaning?? Ended up going with another company who charged less than Citrus-O's apparently "double discounted" price, had no hidden fees and were professional throughout. I called about 5 companies in total to get quotes and none were as rude and pushy as Citrus O even when I told them I was shopping around for the best price. Perhaps they do a good job in cleaning carpet but they seriously need to change their customer service lady.

They came to our house and did the couch and love seat plus mattress. ^Price point was a little high but overall I am happy. We had cat pee on some things and odor was bad so happy that was gone and I am expecting a baby atm too so it was safe for me and the cats.

Citrus O visits us regularly throughout the year now being a pet owner. Outstanding service , carpets never looked cleaner. ALways gets out the tough stains usually from humans...not our pet! Love the fresh scent that lingers for days following. Special mention to Bernard who not only removed a yuk stain from our carpet but was a wealth of knowledge and shared some valuable cleaning secrets . I was very pleased with the service. Remarkably they got allllllll of our stains out! And no smell after and no chemicals!. Even horrible stains like when my kids got sick, blueberries all sorts of stuff. With kids and pets its great having a natural carpet cleaning that is effective!

The Worst I definitely do not recommend this company - their pricing is very high and then bomb bard you with promotional sale emails. I ended up with a stain on my hardware floor from the can of spot remover. After dealing with that and he left, I noticed 2 stains on my floor from his hose that he brought in along with 2 marks on my wall from the hose. Will never use this company ever again and definitely do not recommend.

I first contacted Citrus-O after a period of a year or more, living with dusty (well, actually DIRTY) carpets They had provided me with superior service in the past (many years ago I was 'sucked in' by a major department store, price was right and I might get 'points' The subcontacted to some outside firm which did a shody job I will never have anyone but Citrus-O do my carpets from now on I hired a kid to move all the large-ish furniture and had the carpet thoroughly vacuumed ahead of the Citrus guy There was no way we could more a heavy 3 piece sectional or a massive piano In the end, the piano stayed where it was, but the Citrus fellow accommodatingly cleaned all the rest of the room,,, putting the large couch pieces on 'stilts' so that the air would circulate and all would not only be clean but also dry. I am exceptionally pleased with Citrus-O both with the service on that day and also that they were so accommodating when, due to illness, we had to delay the appointment

Only did half a job. Booked both carpet cleaning and tile cleaning. The tech did not bring all the equipment to do the job and was only able to do the carpets. Would not recommend.

I have tried other carpet cleaners but Citroso gets the best results by far!! My carpet looks brand new. I have used them 1 or 2 times per year for many years. I tried another company once and wasn't as happy with the results or the service. Thank you Citruso!!

Gotta be honest, miles above coit. After i had coit in about 8 months ago they didnt seem to get many of the stains out of very new carpet i have. My carpet is sealed so nothing leaks through to underlay so i was surprised theyd didnt do better. And i had their best guy. ( i know people that work there) Anyway, just a way more thorough job by citrus and the carpets are dry very quickly! Ive been cringing at all the stains that resurfaced after coit for months . So this was long overdue. Citrus got them out no problem. Not even a big deal for their technician who was great. No brainer. I wont go any where else in future. Just an update again as I had citrus in again a month ago or so. I could not believe how thorough the technician was and all the stains he got out . I picked an expensive lighter greyish rug and its all guys in my house and the stains show quickly but another thorough job ???????????? dries so fast too!

Planned to have the carpet cleaned before heading into work but this did not happen. The technician arrived and then we found out the truck did not work and had to wait about 2 hours before another truck arrived to do the job. Disappointing start but we ended up with a technician (Bernard) who was amazing. He was fast and efficient and really knew his job. Right away, he could tell what the carpet stains were and he knew how best to clean them. The carpet has never looked cleaner, despite other cleaners coming in to do the job. I wish Citrus-O had contacted us and maybe cleaned an extra room or at least offered something as I ended up having to miss work for the whole day. Great cleaning but I wish they would check their equiptment before going out on a call.

She told me she won't give me any more information about their pricing unless I decide to go ahead with carpet cleaning!

We loved the fact that he used plastic bumpers to protect corners from the cleaning hoses. Good cleaning, however, I would prefer not to receive an early morning call on the day of the appointment asking to come right away at a time convenient for the cleaner, when the appointment was made weeks beforehand for the afternoon. I took the day off work to be home and the client schedule should be respected.

I have been using this carpet cleaning company since around 2010/2011. Very hit and miss. I had my carpet done recently and was very disappointed. The cleaner showed up 2 hours late, it was the fastest cleaning job I ever had done. I was told the usual-2 hours dry time, more for the stairs. The carpet did not dry out until the following morning. That night some areas were still soaking wet. I had 2 areas on my baseboards where the paint bubbled from the bottom up about 1/4 inch high by 6 to 7 inches long. In the a.m. all of the areas I went over with cleaner still looked the same. I have no kids, no pets. I answered the customer satisfaction survey and never heard a thing back. I will be changing my cleaners for future use. I missed entering that the underlay has gone funny as well.

Awesome customer service , my carpet was basically ruined by a rented machine and citrus o came to the house same day I called with in 6 hours and completely cleaned my white area rug to like new condition for a reasonable price . They also updated me with a notification when they would be there 1 hr before . I would highly recommend .

What can I say... who doesn't love the smell of citrus? Besides the great fresh scent, the technician was fast, courtious and helpful. I was moving out of my apartment and needed the carpets cleaned so I called and booked the appointment which was super easy. On the day of the cleaning, which was also the last day I had possession of the apartment before handing over the keys, I had a little cleaning left in the kitchen and bathroom so the technician helped by cleaning the areas away from the main hallway to leave access to the kitchen until I was finished. When I turned over the keys to the landlord, he was impressed with how clean the carpets were. Worth every cent!

Our experience with this firm was very good - especially considering how dirty our carpet had become the last few months with a very sick cat at home. Our carpet is a very light shade as well. This company cleaned and made the carpet look new again. The only disappointment was that our carpet took a long time to dry. I am quite sure this was is the nature of the carpet - we've noticed this is our general experience - but I'd rather not have been let to believe drying would only take a couple of hours when it was more like 6 hours and longer on stairs.
