I ordered a move in cleaning service on June 10th, 2016. I signed a full contract with a very detailed checklist TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the cleaning including a description with personalized notes of everything that needs to be cleaned including my basement and light fixtures. This was sent back and okay'ed again, TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the cleaning because I was VERY anal about having a good cleaning job done before moving any of my stuff into the house. I had even called Jessica, the owner, 4-5 times to confirm timings, carpet cleaning arrangements, etc.
When the 2 maids came in, on top of their rude attitudes they refused to clean my top cabinets in the kitchen as well as my light fixtures because apparently they didn't bring a step ladder. They also refused to enter my basement. They didn't sweep because they didn't bring a broom. They also missed my oven drawers, cabinets and fridge. This was all discussed multiple times as I am pretty anal and made sure nothing would be missed prior to me moving my stuff into the home. I called the Owner, Jessica King and she offered to have maids come in another time to clean up. I told her I don't want the same maids because they seemed very annoyed when I pointed out missed areas and I felt they weren't good at their jobs. As I kept calling/texting Jessica the following week to schedule something in she said she would have to charge me as she cannot have someone clean for free. I had already paid $150 cash and was going to pay the rest when I received the full service I paid for as I refused to pay the full amount until I received the service I paid for. I argued with her and even sent her pictures of the terrible job and she had the audacity to go back on everything we agreed on. She said I should have provided a broom and step ladder and light fixtures are not included. I have a copy of the contract where this is all included so I am not sure how this company stays in business.
The cleaners were rude and bad mouthing the owner Jessica saying that she couldn't run a business if her life had depended on it and hardly communicates with her employees. This is apparent as they stated they had never seen my checklist of what needs to be cleaned before. Jessica had stated that the maids review this prior to coming in and won't miss a thing. This was an absolute waste of money for me and I am terribly disappointed. They literally have robbed me of my money and I had to hire another company to clean up the mess they made. All of a sudden the terms had changed and Jessica was stating light fixtures were not included, basement can't be cleaned, the payment was per hour not job, etc.
Jessica basically went back on everything that was discussed so I am absolutely dumbfounded. They also cleaned with dirty rags throughout the house and made more of a mess they came with. Also, if this is a move in clean, the assumption is that I don't have ANYTHING in the house as I have yet to move in. Even then, I would have provided the necessary items if I was told ahead of time. Avoid at all costs and please refer to pictures attached as I would never falsely accuse a business of anything not accurate or from my personal experience.
Needless to say they have been reported to the Better Business Bureau as I hope this never happens again!
