UPDATE: After some back and forth a "goodwill gesture" of a $150. Credit to my credit card was given. I believe the problem came from allowing the gray "a little more." to be given over to the cleaning ladies themselves. If they were told to work for 2 hours then there would be no room for such huge errors. If they can work as long as they feel needed you are at their mercy. I got a quote from MERRY MAIDS BURLINGTON of "$170 maybe A LITTLE more for the first cleaning." They did a fine job. I stayed the first hour. By the time I left they were nearly done the main floor of our bungalow. I returned and the house was left unlocked. And they charged us a whooping $380 PLUS. After calling to give them a chance rectify thinking maybe they meant to change $180 or something, I was told that it was the right charge but they would give us a half hour no charge on our next cleaning. I kindly said I don't like surprises that break the budget and would not be using them again. It was Lynn that I spoke to for the record.

I have used Merry Maids Burlington for over a decade. I have tried others but they have not been up to the quality I require. The staff is efficient, friendly and professional. My home sparkles after they clean. Above all else, the staff is loyal in good times and in bad times. What else is there to say? Bravo. Thank you Donna and Lynn.
