Today Jess and Ryan did an amazing job at our place. Both of them made sure that every corner of the house was well cleaned and took special care that the high traffic areas (kitchen floor, stair case, bathrooms) were cleaned properly. Highly recommended service.

Each and everytime I have Maid Of All Work to my home I am always happy their professionalism and the end result of a perfectly clean home. I also use and love their "M' micro fibre cleaning cloths. They are incredible on windows and stainless and leave no streaks on my glass tables. The variety in colors allows me to know confidently that I have changed the kitchen cloth daily (I am a little meticulous that way having worked in health care for most of my career). These are not the same as what you can buy from the depot or dollar store.

I wish I has read the bad reviews instead of just seeing the star ratings for this company. I called about 2 months in advanced to book this company I made sure they did deep cleans as I had specified our new home that we bought was in very bad shape. They previous owners had 5 dogs and did not care for the place. I was guaranteed they do deep cleans and they cleaned windows and would remove the carpet for us. To start off the carpets were removed as requested and the windows were done great minus the windows in the master bathroom that he must have not seen. The morning they were supposed to clean I get a phone call saying there is a lot of traffic due to an accident and they will get back to me when they could be there. I had to then call multiple times with no answer and left multiple messages as it was now coming into 1030am and still no one had shown up. I finally got a call back saying they were working on a team coming out. I then asked how many people and they said 3 ladies. So I then had to inquire about the carpet and window people I had booked as they clearly were not told to come to my place. She then had to call those guys and get them to come later on in the day. The crew finally arrived at my house at 1230pm and as they only work until 330pm they could not finish the job. They came back 2 days later to "finish" the job. I've basically had to reclean most items in my house. This company surface cleans things. I scrubbed the items that were still dirty and it came off fine with a little scrubbing. I have sent pictures to the company showing things that they have missed and I keep coming across new spots that weren't cleaned. I had to lend the ladies my step stool and ask them to do the the ceiling fans. They are not equipped to do deep cleans and with the amount of dust left on the walls and ceilings not eequipped to do much of a surface clean either. Extremely disappointed. They gave us $250 off for the trouble with having to come another day by it still cost over $1000 and other than windows and carpet it was money down the drain. They said they would use my photos as a training to to teach them how to deep clean. Even though I was told they knew how to deep clean. Please save your money and don't hire this company unless you just need a set clean.

Unfortunately I have had to edit my great 5-star review for a 1-star, as the company never showed up again after my first service, even though I signed up for weekly service. They ignored my emails asking why they weren't showing up for the past two weeks and have never responded to me since. I gave them over 2 weeks to respond, allowing room for error and mistake, but I think it is beyond that now. This was very upsetting, as I was really happy with the quality and value of the service, however it has been ruined by them completely ignoring me and never showing back up. Terrible way to do business.

Maid of All Work is a company that is named well because they do it all!! Had a big family event that last minute got switched to my family home! Maid of all work was able to come in and not only clean my house, but wash my windows, paint the guest room and bathroom, clean out the basement, AND reorganize the clutter. (They disposed of things I wanted gone and they sold other items for me that had been sitting down there forever). So happy and so ready for the weekend with time to spare. Everybody was really nice with respect to personality and customer service. Sadly however though I was grossly underestimated. I was estimated a clean of approximately no more than $310. When the girls left I paid them $400. Then I receive notice that I was to pay another 200+ dollars. This would be a total $600 clean. I was looking to have a clean that would make the place look really good for move-in. I admit the last tenant wasn’t the cleanest human being so there were some very problematic areas. However a lot of the basics that I had hoped would be covered were not. There were still cobwebs on the ceiling fans and light fixtures. I had hoped that the vents into the walls would have been cleaned but they were not. The top of the cabinets in the kitchen which were all grungy were not completed. So now I have to go back and do a lot of cleaning myself which I’m not looking forward to doing.Hence the hiring of a cleaning service. My mother who would come in to do some painting also commented that the job wasn’t very well done and sadly I had to agree with her. There was no way this was a $600 cleaning job. It was adequate at best. And I was under the impression that the cleaning of the carpet wasn’t an additional cost but it included within the general clean. Had they distinguish that perhaps I would’ve refrained from having that service completed because carpet cleaners were in a couple weeks prior. I know the carpets are in bad shape and there are just things that could not be gotten out and I understand that. But it was a basic job at best. Absolutely not worth $600. That’s absolutely insane. I wish I had done more research on cleaning services. Sadly it wasn’t even worth the $400 I paid. I will not be using the service again and sadly I do not recommend the service.

I have used this company for various cleanings in my home when I needed deep cleans. They also helped clean my house and prepare it when it was listed for sale. It looked beautiful. Then they came to my new house to do a deep clean before we moved in. Jen, Jess and Melissa did an amazing job! They showed attention to detail and made sure everything was clean and ready for me to unpack and set everything up, and this includes inside the cabinets, and in between every California shutter. I recommend this team and this company. Booking appointments via email promotes flexibility and ease of booking. They have flexible schedules and their covid treatments made us feel safer. The honest review...not the service I was expecting. They missed a lot of areas of dusting the home. The entire cleanup felt like a quick brush over and absolutely NO attention to details. It really felt like they really did not enjoy their work and the work itself showed. I can leave a list of all things missed but why bother. They cleaned it no better than a much cheaper cleaner I've had in past. There is no follow up on their part. They do not even return calls. No business strategy in this company. Move on. No better work than a Kijiji cleaner! Disappointed for the overprice paid.

They came across as caring and professional. Big on promises and how they love giving back.... We paid just under 19,000.00 for some of the shoddiest work I’ve ever seen mirror broken that they claim fell off a wall all by itself when no one was there, areas that were so called clean but might need another sweep that later admitted hadn’t been cleaned at all. Told their staff spent hrs on room all ready cleaned and therefore some other work not finished.... it went on and on. Actually I have videos that you won’t believe someone would have the gaul to charge a buck a hour for I not only would never recommend these rip off artists I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU AVOID ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. I called Maid of All Work on Thursday after my cleaning company I've then with for the last 8 months no showed again.. I read their reviews and seen a couple of customers say they have been able to book last minute so I gave it a shot! The phone was answered on the second ring I was shocked to get a live voice lol. The lady was very nice, she asked me a few simple questions about my house and provided me with a quote over the phone. I told her the jam I was in and how my company bailed on me and I needed someone ASAP. I was put on hold for a few seconds and she when she came back she said no problem I can get you on tomorrow!! Two ladies arrived the next day as promised by Debbie and an email that afternoon confirming . They worked great! They were thorough and efficient and lovely to chat with. Jessica followed up with me this morning and I am now a regular customer with a better hourly rate. All around a happy new customer!

I was very disappointed in the cleaning service provided by Maid of all Work. Not only were they 2 hours late from the scheduled appointment, the clean they provided was poor. I had a move in clean but have been finding dirt everywhere, under the fridge, stove, in cupboards, on top of cupboards, etc. They said I had their experienced cleaners who clearly were in a rush to get out! I would not recommend them and feel like I wasted my money!

Jen and Michelle arrived within the hour time frame I was provided, and they came prepared with all the equipment that was needed. The girls walked through the home with me and I pointed out my major concerns; getting into all corners, high dusting, bathroom and kitchen needed a real good scrub down and disinfecting. Just thought I would write a quick review on my experience with maid of all work recently I had a team of 3 come in my house I won’t want to mention all of their names because I did not have a problem with the other ladies. But I happened to have a bad experience with The supervisor of the team (Malissa) she made me feel VERY uncomfortable in my own home I asked for several things to be done and she proceeded to tell me she couldn’t do it because they did not have the time but those were my priorities. She gave me nothing but attitude wouldn’t work with me at all I’m not a confrontational person but it was like she just wanted problems with me and everything I said was a problem I will NEVER get this company to come in my home again after that.

Fabulous work under unusual circumstances! The team demonstrated amazing empathy in dealing with cleaning a home in poor condition with a Senior suffering from dementia who would not let anyone in. They attended my Mother's home as scheduled and with no prior planning, physically worked around us as we used a series of doors and signals to move my Mom to different areas of the home without disruption. The service positively impacted her quality of life and health. These women made the professional, personal. You can't ask for better service.

We bought a house, had it painted and decided to hire the cleaning services before we moved in based on the great reviews they have on Homestars and Google. My suggestion to people is: please read the bad reviews first. I scheduled the cleaning a week in advance, last Tuesday, at 10:30 am and sent them a list of items (which, honestly, were not that demanding) that I wanted to have cleaned: windows, inside cupboards and closets, wash the carpet, clean the floor, clean the bathrooms (including wiping the bath tiles because of the painting). The day before, I cancelled the outside window cleaning because it was raining. On the day of, I got a call changing the cleaning schedule to 1:30 (was it because I cancelled a part of the service?). So, I don't know if the cleaners were in a hurry to go home (mine was the 3rd house they were working on that day) but a lot of things were not done. The cupboards were dirty, bathrooms were not cleaned and whatever product they used on the floors made them really greasy (it looks like the product left a film layer). The carpet cleaning and inside windows are great, but everything else was a waste of money. I called the company asking for a detailed invoice to understand what exactly was done (I wasn't in the house when they cleaned it), the document had 3 lines: cleaning, carpet cleaning and antibacterial fogging. When I called them to complain, Caroline (the owner) was rude (maybe because it was Thursday afternoon, right before the Easter holiday) and offered a "touch up cleaning service" which I refused. After pushing it, I got a 13% refund. Honestly, that is not nearly enough - I had to do the work all over again! I do not recommend their services.

I am so impressed and grateful! I just returned from a trip out west and was dreading coming home as my husband and two teenage boys were home for two weeks alone. My husband hired Maid of all Work and purchased a "Deep clean". They did such a great job. I am rather picky (my husband would say..) and like to do my own cleaning but these girls really did a great job! My husband said Debbie was super friendly and accommodating. Closing time for this company is stated as being 5 pm. However, office staff in Burlington don't seem to be adhering to this time! I am so frustrated with this company. I called at 3:30 (more than 1 occasion) and no one answers and no one returns my calls! Last Friday Jessica said she left early to pick up her child. What about today?! I have left my contact info each time! The owners Caroline and Mark Maurice should care more about calling their customers back... and perhaps checking that staff are indeed at work. If they are not there, why can't the phones be forwarded. This is not the way to run a business. Btw, I was promised a receipt by Debbie (NONE received) to be given to me by L + C, the cleaners. They were not aware of this. Also, they said they had not been made aware of the full scope of the job!

We had a cleaning appt on a June 4th. We were not at all satisfied with the service. Floors, washrooms, tiles nothing was really cleaned properly. In fact my wife had to clean the kitchen floors again as they made the floors sticky. They did not have proper cleaning materials, we had to ask them to use our stuff to make some difference. Both ladies were older and seemed uninterested in the work. When we clean ourselves, the house stays in good shape for a few days but with this cleaning service, we are doing the entire clean again after 5 days.
