the rooms were clean and comfortable . unfortunately there was a bad smell all weekend and the elevator didnt work properly. also we were there for a hockey tournament and there was no where for the parents to get together without the desk staff coming to reprimand us every 5 minutes. location was good and easier to find.

Staying at the Brooks Canalta was so refreshing after a long journey. It might be listed as a two star but they did everything with excellence. The spacious clean room, the substantial pool and slide, the staff member who went beyond her duty to help me pack up flowers, to the scrumptious yogurt cups, we will definitely stay here again.

I stay in lots of hotels, and this one was definitely on the nicer end of the standard hotel rooms. Large room, felt very spacious, nicely decorated (for a hotel), and fairly clean. The use of indigenous owned companies for the lotions and shampoos was wonderful to see. There were some mystery stains on the chairs and foot stool that definitely detracted from the overall cleanliness of the room, and the window looked directly onto the wall of an adjacent business, which was kind of depressing. Overall, cannot really complain. Was fairly quiet, clean and a great size. The AC worked and I had a great sleep.

We've ended up staying here a couple of times over the summer. The first time by fluke passing through, the second due to a change in plans a month later. The clerk remembered us and our room preference. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. If we have to stay anywhere in this area it will be here.

Terrible service. This hotel does not take cash deposits like most others. If you do not have a credit card, DO NOT stay here! The front desk staff were very unaccomodating and rude. I will NEVER stay at a CANALTA hotel again!
