So they asked for a review and I asked the lady who runs the team pretty flatly "You do a good job every time and I'll write you a review but, I gotta know if your boss is good to you, lets you all take time off when you're sick, that kinda thing." and she was so confused for a sec and then said that of course he does and she's very happy to work there and never had any trouble about things like that. Frankly, there's nothing more important to me than knowing these folks aren't treated poorly. We've had these cleaners coming by since the fall and they've been great. They show up almost universally on-time or early, clean the place thoroughly (I can see myself in the tile), and they're all very friendly. The price is good too my partner and I due to the pandemic didn't have to pay for 2 zone bus passes anymore and that was more than enough to pay for 1 visit a month for our 850~ sq foot low-junk apartment in the burbs. We were happy enough with the service that we upped it to 2 visits and that's enough to keep this place in great shape. They've been great about the restrictions and so have we, they work in the bedrooms and we go to the living room, they finish in there and we swap so they can do the rest of the place, windows open, air circulating! We can do 2m in the apt no problem. Thank you so much Areli and your team for making our time during the pandemic so much more enjoyable and our space so much more livable! This might be my favourite bill to pay!

I called Bruce on Wednesday to come into my family home for a deep clean. He was able to get us in the next day! The team of 3 came out and very graciously listened to my mom’s requests and started right away. We had to leave to go to hospital so we weren’t able to see the completed job. When we returned home there were a couple things missed. We contacted Bruce again and he was more than happy to abide by the company’s 24 hour policy. He himself came out the next morning with one of his staff and completely redid everything along with the couple things missed. The job was immaculate and very professional. I am incredibly unsatisfied with the service. Staff failed to clean various areas around my apartment that should have been quite basic. Considering I specifically told them that they could take as long as needed to properly clean and there were four of them, I am shocked by their failure to clean properly. Areas of issue: - the top of my shelving unit in the kitchen and the taller of my two shelving units in the living room were untocuhed - staff failed to properly dust the shelves of all three bookshelves (one in living room, two in bedroom) and did not do the top of them - the top of the fridge was untouched - did not dust the living room tv, behind the living room tv, or the unit the tv is sitting on - the full window frames (they seem to have dusted only the main ledge) - various areas of the floor were visibly untouched and dirty (examples are the corner by stove in the kitchen and the area around and under the shelf in hallway) - one of the two end tables in the bedroom was left untouched except the top of it - multiple items around the apartment were untouched (examples are two candle holders and a decorative jar)

Had some unclear communication, and was charged more than I had expected/what was quoted for me. Was quoted for 60 minutes of cleaning which included 3 Maids. 4 maids ended showing up (without my knowing ahead of time) and I ended up being billed higher due to this. All in all, my kitchen and bathroom was cleaned well. The girls were very sweet and polite, but also looked extremely young (almost students/teens) and maybe that's what took them longer for the cleaning.

The cleaning service was otherwise good, all things considered. However, the final bill was essentially double the quote provided on the telephone. The house was a rental unit which we had just renovated and thus was completely empty but required a deep clean. 4 cleaners arrived however the main lady in charge of the group forgot some equipment and stepped out for an hour. The other 3 ladies got to work which was quite standard (i.e. deep clean of bathrooms, kitchen, inside of windows, vacuuming, etc.). They took about 3 hours and charged a total of $700. I thought this was pretty ridiculous given that 1 lady stepped out for an hour and said she had factored this into the bill already. A breakdown of the charges was also not provided and when we called the owner to question the total cost, she said that we kept pointing things out to clean which caused their staff to charge more. This was a complete lie given the house was completely empty and renovated and thus only required a deep clean as mentioned above. Do not use unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for basic cleaning. Might as well do it yourself unless the house is completely a wreck.

It has been two years of sub-standard work with cleaning companies charging $40 to $50 for two cleaners that do an inconsistent sloppy job. Finally I found the Maids. The owner promptly answered my inquiry call and scheduled a site inspection the same day to discuss The Maids service. The service is premium priced but well worth the quality. Vera and team orange were pleasant, hard working but most of all they did a thorough job.

I had my condo cleaned in preparation to list. Holly the booking agent was very friendly, but the cleaners did a horrible job! They charged me $500 for 1.5 hours. They did a very light cleaning, didn't clean the windows, left huge water streaks all over my floors (it was not hand washed) scratched the display on my microwave and did not vacuum any of my area rugs! When I came back early 2 of the cleaners were standing around playing on their phone. The cleaner that worked on our kitchen cleaned it nicely so 2 stars. Not worth your money, go with someone else.

We have been using The Maids for eight months and we are thrilled! The ladies are polite, efficient and do a fantastic job. I have had cleaners and services before but never have I come home to find the house cleaned so perfectly and with such good will. They are organized and extremely responsive. Although I try to have the house tidy when they arrive, sometimes that just doesn’t work out but they work around it anyway and never make us feel bad about that. It seems like a simple thing but every other cleaning service we have used always complained about something. These ladies tell me that their job is to make my life easier. The only thing this company guarantees is doubling their quote. Cleaning was so sloppy, maids were unprofessional and we are choosing not to have them back into our home to “fix decrepancies.” By charging you per minute per person they scummily charged us $900 for 3 hours of their time an unclean house. Quote was $350. Do not use this company if your goal is a deep clean (or clean at all actually).

Another bonus is that, with a team working, they can finish the job in about an hour. This has been particularly convenient during the Covid era when we have to spend most of our time in our home. The Green Team has always been great in all ways -- thorough, eager to please, attentive to detail, cheery, friendly. They do a great job with the dog hair that finds its way everywhere. The Maids cleaned my home and several item went missing. I contacted the service about this & was told none of the staff had seen anything. One of the items was a new pair of earrings, still attached to the cardboard packaging. The earrings were gone and the packaging was found in the cupboard under the sink.... Management offered no resolution & even suggested that maybe the earrings had "fallen in the garbage" This was clearly theft. If you use this service, lock up your belongings because the cleaners they send into your home may be thieves. The company won't do anything about it Update: almost a year later The Maids reply to my review. The person they Know was responsible for the theft was not dismissed. This is cut & paste from the email I received from them : We value you as customer and would appreciate an opportunity to discuss or remedy as you suggest if the items are not found. I apologize and do not want to appear not taking responsibility, and ask if it is possible the items could have been moved or at worst fallen in to the garbage and not noticed? I apologize there is not a more immediate resolution, Pat

A whole team shows up, always punctual, with all their own equipment and never disappoint. The cleaning equipment and products are all high quality. I have bad allergies to most things but have never once been irritated by the products. They're highly efficient and thorough and easily the most professional cleaning company I've used in Vancouver. The management is also super approachable and flexible and make me feel like my needs are put first. When I have had a couple of minor (VERY MINOR) issues with particular service for example all efforts were made to rectify them immediately, including a discount. Couldn't be happier with The Maids! My townhouse of about 1500sqft was coming up for sale. Renovations were completed, and after the contractors cleaned up it needed a final cleaning before going on the market. I couldn't use my regular cleaners because it was out of their area, so I decided to use the Maids as they seemed to have reasonable reviews. They quoted approximately $350ish which I agreed to and seemed about right for the approx 4-6 hrs total it would take to dust/vacuum/mop. They ended up sending 4 people to the house and one vanished part way through. When they claimed to have finished, I had to point out all the missed areas. They ended up charging $700...double than quoted and spent nearly 10 working hours cleaning a cozy home. It would have been cheaper to have uber'd my cleaning team out rather than deal with the Maids. Best part is, they never sent an invoice for their work and then threatened to send me to collections for non-payment. Claimed they called several times from a private number. Absolutely dissatisfied!!! Before and after pics attached. House was not overly dirty before the cleaning, so definitely not worth $700.

I hired "The Maids" to do a deep clean on my home after I had my baby (that was honestly already quite clean). The cleaning results were OK but nothing to rave about/no attention to detail. They came over 2 hours late with no communication that they would be later and on top of that over-charged me an extra hours work which equated to an extra $203.40. They did rectify and refund my money but I had to call them in order to do so. Overall not very impressed and would not recommend to others. For the rate they charge I expected way more.

I have a small single detached home with an unfinished basement. I asked for a deep clean. This team cleaned under the oven but not in the oven. This team dusted my blinds but not the window. they charged me $300 to vacuum my hardwood floors and wipe down counter in my small kitchen and 1 bathroom ( my oponion). Over charged! I was looking for this to be a monthly thing. One less thing for me to have to do. Never again with this company.

We always receive a notification the day before to confirm time of arrival and the team shows up when they say they will. If by chance they are running late, we will always receive a phone call to let us know. The office staff have been very accommodating to any special scheduling requests. The cleaning team is always cheerful, they do a great job and they are efficient. Moreover, we trust them and they are respectful of our home.
