On occasion we get more than the standard crew of two – either for training a new team member or for helping the existing team to get more done during an appointment. Shauna Williamson Brown and her team at Molly maid Langley surprised me, came into my home and scrubbed it from top to bottom a few days before I went in to donate my kidney to save the life of my friends three-year-old son. I was in tears. I have always believed that it takes a village to do something extraordinary and to be able to rest peacefully in a spotless home was more valuable and healing than words can express. I started using Molly maid in 2016 after I was hit by a car. I used them weekly to bi weekly. I was very impressed with the professionalism in the ladies and the attention to detail that is so important to me. Not being able to clean my own house made me concerned as to the level of cleanliness I would receive but these ladies were amazing. Always on time, polite, professional AND THEY CLEANED MY HOUSE PEFECTLY TO MY STANDARDS! I found the rates were very fair and I didn’t have to redo anything ever. Also when I sold my house, they did the final move out clean after we left and the real estate agent said the house looked amazing for the new owners. I highly recommend Molly Maid Langley. Moving is hard at the very best of times. Very stressful and challenging to coordinate the move and make sure you're moving into a home that meets your standard of cleanliness. Normally the cleaning is something I prefer to do myself this way I know that it's done right! We were time pinched and exhausted so we reached out to Molly Maid in Langley and they sent out Alexis and Makayla. These two were amazing!!!!! On time, professional, friendly and clean!! I felt a little sheepish asking if the cleaning cloths were freshly laundered but they totally understood and were happy to show me that they were in fact fresh from the dryer!!! The cleaning services I received were not in accordance of what I got charged. One simple task I asked was to make my bed, meaning, shake the sheets and leave them nice and stretched...well, they did that but only the top blanket and not the sheets that were wrinkled as I left them a night before....horrible and lazy job!!!! Among another things. So, I cancelled the service, however, they are insisting on coming to "clean" my place again and charge me...I guess they don't understand English and the word "cancel my cleaning services". So, please don't come to "clean" again. I had my cleaning company before and I know what it means to really clean. Believe me, I think the owner rush the poor girls because all they care now is...getting your $$$$$$, and not getting your place cleaned. Wow!!!! And reading the reviews response I noticed that mollymaid copy and paste her responses. Lol Not even the courtesy to answer personally....copy and paste answers?? Cheap !!!

I wish I didn't have to give them even one star. My story is so horrendous that as I am writing it I would like to scream and shout out of frustration. I hired the Langley team of Molly Maid to come and clean my house. I have a two story house with a basement. In the basement I have a basement suite. On the day they were supposed to come, the two girls arrived ten minutes late. I explained to them what I needed cleaned and left them with a written list and my name and phone number if they needed to contact me in case of an emergency. I told them that all the work needed to be finished in 5 hours and that's what the office had quoted as a reasonable amount of time for the required amount of work. I went out to do some shopping and in three hours I went back to my house to drop off my purchases. I was met by one of the girls and she told me that they had managed to clean the basement suite and level and the second floor and I should check and let them know if I am happy. I went to check the second floor first and when I say the cleaning was deplorable I am actually understating. There was still hair in the drain the master bathroom and none of the shower cabin windows were cleaned. They were all covered in water residue and soap residue. I checked the state of the second and third bathrooms and it was the same. So I went to see what the basement suite was like and it was not in any better condition. The stove top was streaked and smudged, the cabinet doors were never cleaned in my opinion, the backsplash wall was still covered in food residue. At his point I went upstairs and spoke with one of the girls asking in disbelief whether they truly believed the cleaning was done. She explained to me that she had tried her best to clean the shower cabin doors in the bathroom but there was no way to clean all water/calcium and soap residue. She asked me if I wanted them to go back and clean more but I said no. I went to my garage and called the Langley office. I spoke with a woman there and I explained to her that I was extremely dissatisfied with their services and I didn't want them to continue cleaning the house as there was no way they would clean it at the level which I required. She told me to let them go and that I didn't have to pay and that somebody will contact me from their office to resolve the issue by the end of the day. I didn't get contacted and I hired another company (Sparkling Clean) and they came the next day and cleaned my house perfectly. I cleaned my own basement. The same day, a woman from Molly Maid came to my house when I was not there to do quality control and left a name card at my door to give her a call. I called her today and I spoke with the owner of the franchise, Shauna Browne, and the woman accused me of giving her the wrong phone number (I've already contacted their office 3 times but they never managed to write down my number correctly) and hiding in my house to avoid paying the cost of the cleaning. She threatened me that if I didn't pay for the cleaning she would put a lean against my house and I wouldn't be able to sell it. I was so outraged by all of this that I told her that I will contact their corporate office which I have already done and that even if I have to pay for the awful cleaning I will get my money back from corporate. REALLY LONG STORY SHORT !!!DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! AWFUL SERVICE!!!AWFUL OWNER!!! The photos below are from when they considered their job a well done!

I have a 1700 square foot house and was told it would take 2 cleaners 3 hours to complete a basic cleaning and "moving" special. When they arrived I said not to wash floors, or windows and they could leave 1 bedroom, the den and laundry room alone. So even less square footage. After almost 2 hours they had completed the master bedroom and bath and 1 hallway. I was in tears! What a complete waste of money. The cleaner apologized and told me she spent too much time in the bedroom. I spoke to the owner Shawna who defended the cleaners and said it took them longer to dust my room because I have an ornate bed. Geez, did they spit polish? As a professional she should have prioritized her time. I'm moving, not selling a bed! The owner wasn't concerned with me as a customer at all. It was the worst service I have ever received.

They showed up a little later than expected. I was moving so they were asked to vacuum (4 bedrooms and hallway). Clean 2.5 bathrooms and 2 fridges. It took them a total of 5 hours at a cost of almost $600. She then told me my house was one if the worst they'd ever seen.....funny, considering it sold for over $3 million. And had pictures taken and used for advertising. I was insulted and will never use this service again.

As a former employee of Molly Maid (more than 20 years ago) I decided to call them when I was in need of someone at the last minute. I remembered how high their standards were and I needed someone to clean my townhouse top to bottom so that it would look and smell pristine for the new owners. Shauna was amazing when I called her. I had only one day (November 26,2020) and because of covid and the time line I was not flexible, I had to find someone for the very next day. She pulled it off and the team that she dispatched to clean did an amazing job!!! As soon as I walked in I was so happy and relieved!! I met with the buyers realtor to hand over the keys that night and that was the first thing he mentioned, how clean and fantastic it looked. He was impressed and knew his buyers would be too! I can’t thank Shauna and her team enough!!! That move was very stressful in the midst of a pandemic and it was a huge weight off my shoulders after booking them. In hindsight I should have called Molly Maid to begin with. Next time!! ☺️

In advance, over the phone, was quoted 2 to 3 hours required for a 584 sq ft empty condo. I spent 5 hours precleaning a day before so Molly Maids wouldn't have so much to do thus saving me some expense. Apparently that didn't make a difference as they stretched it to a bit over 4 hours costing me $588. I was asked to do a walk thru while Maids were still there but I didn't as the clean out wasn't for me but the new owner. But I did however, care about what I was shelling out. I later did a walk thru & although some of the blinds were dusted there was visible dirt on the lower blinds. Didn't look scrubbed clean, I could have done a more thorough myself. Oh, they made a pretty bow on the toilet paper & condo smelled nice. Would I recommend Molly Maid to deliver value for money? Hard no. Wasn't even sent a request for a review or a satisfaction survey.

Best of all, they have a name you can trust backed by a national franchise. There are many unlicensed cleaning companies you'll find on Facebook that don't have the brand and the reputation that Molly Maid does. I can tell that the franchise owner, Shauna spends a great deal of time in selecting who she hires, and she hires the best. These aren't your craigslist cleaners, these girls know what they are doing and will manicure your house. Highly recommend them.

I made two appointments: one for my friend and mother. For both appointments I had wanted the kitchen cleaned. I was told to spray the ovens with oven cleaner. I told my friend to do so and she did. For my friend's appointment, the ladies arrived late. Once there, they refused to clean the oven or the fridge, even though, my friend offered to take everything out of the fridge. The ladies kept on saying they didn't have enough time. I had approved an additional 30mins in case there was more to be done at my friend's house. I told the lady who scheduled the appointment that if it takes a little longer I want the ladies to stay and do whatever my friend wants done. This did not happen because they didn't want to stay. I called the lady back to offer my dissatisfaction with the service. The lady completely refused to take any accountability. She completely put it on my friend that my friend said she had an appointment to go to. This makes no sense because my friend cancelled her appointment because the ladies were late and when she asked the ladies to do a couple of extra things they refused to stay. She also said she thought I didn't want the oven cleaned for my friend's apartment. That i only wanted that for my mother's place. I wouldn't recommend this franchise of molly maid as they refuse to admit they are wrong, and they refuse to go the extra mile to offer good customer service. I used another mollymaid franchise before and they arrived at the wrong time. I think it is best avoid this company completely. They are not reliable, organized, or dependable.

Along with having nannies, over the years I have hired cleaners working independently. I have always shied away from hiring companies thinking that they would be more expensive and have staff that were not as invested in good cleaning. After losing my last cleaner, I thought I would try Molly Maid and I am so glad I did. Cost is about the same. The company is very organized and easy to communicate with, the team arrives cheerful and full of energy and their cleaning is fantastic. They are very personable, polite, well trained and always professional. I am really enjoying having them in my now very clean (until my boys and dog run through) home.

When they realized how much work was needed, they sent over a 3rd person to help clean and finished within 3.5 hours, no extra charge!
