Pictures says it all. I booked the move in / move out cleaning special which was an extra 150 dollars for cupboard cleaning, wet wipe the baseboards and a few other thing. Total 300. None of this was done. the counters were not wiped, the oven had streaks all over it, food marks still on the oven door. Taps in the bathroom wasn't cleaned, floors had crumbs you could feel by walking over it. Basically I don't know what they cleaned. was offered 50% refund or to have someone come and do the job again but after the first cleaner wasn't wearing a mask I declined to have them return because the owner lives upstairs and is immunocompromised. The cleaner told me since they had the first dose of the vaccine they didn't need to wear one anymore, this is incorrect but the owners/mamangement who I spoke to justified it by telling me "he has trouble breathing with a mask on"

We called Maid in Victoria to clean our 4 bedroom home we moved out of and they did a fantastic job. From the time we called to make the appointment, the job itself and the follow up (a telephone from Glendon to check on how the service was, as well as electronically), all was first class service. They are very organized, send your confirmation immediately and give you reminders via email and they show up on time. They use technology tools the right way.We have hired them again to continue doing a bi-weekly cleaning in our new house.

I was out of town and my husband had the opportunity to meet our cleaner. He liked her quite a bit, said that she worked really hard and that she did a good job. I found a streaky mirror, and the dark wood floors needed a wipe in a few areas, ( granted they are hard to clean) I also had some white streaking on our bathroom wall where perhaps a cleaning solution had not been wiped off or bothered the paint...YET we will try the service a few more times in order to give the co a fair try. All in all, a good job and Im happy to re-book.

While the work performed was terrific. The admin side of things have been a challenge. I tried to cancel/reschedule my service online but I was within an hour outside of the 48 hour cancellation period and the online portal works not allow. After getting in touch a few hours later, I was told we would be changed 50% ($175) but if I rescheduled it would be applied to the next cleaning. However, it was not. I've emailed 3 times with no reply for the past 3 weeks. I world listen to the other reviews here that they do good work with poor admin. They owe me $175. I tried to take this without having to leave a bad review but no response. AVOID!!

When you get two guys turn up at your door, don't be hesitant to the 'man cleaning' feels. I felt exactly that, until I returned to my home and found every nook and cranny was reburbished to showroom condition. Get the deep clean, leave a tip & walk into the cleanest version of your house!! It just feels so good.

???? I was looking for a Victoria based company online and found Maid in Victoria. I booked online and received a call from Amanda, we discussed the type of service that I wanted and we settled on a date and time. Received my two days before reminder with the estimate. At 12:30 promptly, Sylvia arrived, she had all her equipment with her, she did not have to go to her car to get something that was forgotten. I notice little details like that. I gave her a tour of what I wanted done and she got to work right away. She worked quickly and efficiently, asked what kind of products I wanted to use, I appreciated that consideration. When she was done, we had a look round to see if anything was missed, everything was done as I had asked, plus my condo had a nice fresh smell to it. I found Sylvia to be pleasant, cheerful, with a lovely sense of humour. I will use Maid in Victoria again ????

Looks like no one cleaned, cleaner did not wear a mask, terrible customer service and paid $300 for the move out special which was 1 person for 4 hours... after making a complaint and showing photos of the terrible job done(honestly not sure what they did for 4 hours) I was offered a 50% refund... not 100% because they have to cover their costs... so I take the hit for the poor service.

We booked move out cleaning for our apartment. The company said it would take 5 hours, but it only took 2.5 hours actually. Also, the area under the stovetop haven’t been cleaned at all! We were charged by apartment manager $189 for deposit. We sent email to this company for this problem, but company didn’t reply us, and charged us cleaning fee for 5 hours directly without any apologies or solutions. This is my worst experience, I would never recommend anyone to have service in this company!

BEWARE: if you pay with credit card make sure to check your statements for the next 6 months. My realtor used them once to clean my place before the new owners took possession. They did an okay job cleaning it but now 3 months later, they have charged me three times for other people’s cleanings. I have called twice and emailed them twice. There’s about $500 in unauthorized charges. This may be a one off issue in their system but they were alerted (phone call and email) a month ago and did nothing. They eventually reimbursed me then charged me fraudulently again a week later. I had to report them to VISA and cancel my credit card to put this headache to rest. Would strongly recommend avoiding them.

Ordered a move out clean. That poor cleaner. There were spots of that house that hadn't been seen in a decade, much less cleaned. But as I came in throughout the day, the place kept looking better, and the cleaner was always hard it. In the end, the house came out 100x times cleaner (and better smelling) than how it started that day. It definitely wasn't super cheap, but the hassle and stress that it saved me (not to mention ending up with a much better result than i would've managed) was well worth the cost.

Booked a cleaning for 10:00 and recieved a confirmation email. I rebooked it to 8:30 and again recieved a confirmation email when I rebooked it and another 24hr before the cleaning. Then nobody shows up at 8:30. The email says to allow a 1hr window. Nobody shows up by 9:30. So at this point I call to see what's going on but nobody answers the phone. My girlfriend then calls and the phone gets picked up right away and she gets told that our cleaning was rescheduled for 10:00. Nobody contacted us to tell us about this change. So I again attempt to call to let them know that it's not fair to rebook someone's scheduled appointment with no notice and again they don't pick up the phone. I leave them a voicemail requesting a callback and receive no call back. The cleaner arrives at 10 and she did a fantastic job which is the only thing that's preventing a 1 star review. It was no fault of her's that the booking was poorly handled. It's one thing to mess up a booking but to completely ignore the customer and offer no apologies for wasting my time is unacceptable. They certainly had no issues taking my money! I've used this company previously and had a good experience which is why I went with them again but next time I will for sure be not be using Maid in Victoria for any cleaning jobs.

I am mostly happy. I had to clean the around the windows some and one closet shelf. I also had to clean the living room walls. I emailed them about it but never got a reply. Over all it was good but not quite worth the $267 bill.

UPDATE: I have been refunded an appropriate amount of money. Thank you - Honestly, all this could have been avoided with a return phone call or email response (there has been none yet). Owner does not respond. I booked a cleaning for closing day on the sale of my home well in advance. I called prior to booking and asked about timing, etc. I was told to book online, so I did. I called in advance of cleaning day to confirm and ask some questions - my call (with detailed message)was not returned. Cleaning day was a disorganized cafuffle. Instead of dealing with the sale of my home I spent my day cleaning my house along with the double booked cleaner. I called that morning, left a message that night. No response yet, but they did bill me for the full clean. Plus my bathroom was missed completely.

DO NOT CHOOSE. Their cleaners did not clean the place per cleaning checklist gave at all and left without letting me know where were not cleaned. My landlord(property management company) need to hire their own cleaner at last minute before next tenant come in and charged me another cleaning fee. There were so many footprints left on the floor that the whole floor need to be mopped again. The oven, windows, lights, dryer were not cleaned although clearly instructed on the cleaning checklist. And the cleaners left a permanent ink mark on the counter top that cannot be removed. When I complained to the owner, the owner was VERY RUDE and did not apologize at all and just tell me they allow their cleaners to make mistakes and refused to offer any discounts and charged me full amount. It's clearly indicated on their website they will send out another team to re-clean or give you up to a full refund. It sounds like you have an option if you are not satisfied but you don't because they said they will only try to send out another team.

The process of setting up a regular cleaning service with them could not be simpler. You just go on their website and click on what you want! I love that you get discounts the more you use them and you can also customize the services you want so you only pay for what you want. No secret charges! The other day, I stayed up till 4 am working on a major project. I could barely keep my eyes open long enough to let the team in the door! but boy did they deliver...I was so tired I slept through the whole thing but they did an amazing job anyway...I woke up to a clean fresh smelling home. To a busy mom of three, there can be no better gift! Thank you so much for the great service!

I used the online booking system to book a cleaning. I set the evening before aside to tidy my place to make it easier for the cleaner. I came home on the designated day to find no cleaners had come, despite receiving multiple confirmation and reminder emails from Maid in Victoria with instructions for preparing my home. I called the office and there was no answer - the office was closed for the week according to the recording. Then I found my credit card had been charged for the service that had never taken place. I sent two emails a few days apart and no answer. I waited until the office was open the next week and several days passed that week without Maid in Victoria contacting me. I then phoned the office again and was treated very rudely. They agreed to offer me a refund but didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and poor service. The person who I assume is the owner responded to my disappointment with "Well what do you want?" I said "I would appreciate a free cleaning for the inconvenience". He actually laughed and said "Not going to happen, have a good day," then hung up on me!

I was assured by Amanda that I just needed to pick a different date & she would manually change the future date I'd chosen to the following morning. Nobody showed up. I called Amanda & she said I picked a date too far in advance (May I think)??? By the time I found out that nobody had showed up, & called Amanda, she said the person she'd lined up was no longer available.

Told the owner that I'd like to reschedule the clean. She didn't respond and apparently the cleaner showed up. Nobody called to let me know the cleaner was there because if they did, I'd have provided door codes to avoid wasting the cleaners time. But nope, no call, no email just a random charge although there's no proof the cleaner actually showed up so service was definitely not provided. Owner has refused to respond to emails so I'll be filing a dispute with my credit card. Scroll down the positive reviews and one of them is from the owner. Laughable. Stay away from this company!

The manager didn't seem to know anything about his employees cleaning schedule. The worst cleaning service and unprofessional. Canadian forces members do not use this company for posting or post outs.

Not only did they clean the apartment but it was the extras that really blew us away.... walls were wiped, fridge cleaned and all the dusting! I have a dog so it was not unnoticed how much they cared about dirt & dust. It felt like a hotel by the time she finished. Will for sure use again and again.

Booked online. No follow up email or phone call after supplying CC information, and no one came to clean. Do not recommend. Clarification: Booked > 24 hours beforehand and was not "late at night". Perhaps look into your booking system as there are multiple complaints about it.

I booked this company on-line for a day they specifically said they had availability. One minute before they were supposed to come do the clean a guy phoned me and said his cleaner was ill and couldn't attend. We rescheduled for the next day. I received a notification that next day that my credit card had been charged for the full clean of 4.5 hours. When I attended at the house the next morning, however, NOTHING HAD BEEN CLEANED. Nothing. Nobody had phoned me to let me know. This left me in a huge lurch as I had tenants moving in that night. I had to take the day off work and clean it myself! I phoned and left multiple messages and I got no response. My partner phoned and was told that the company had tried to reach me but had a wrong number. This makes no sense because they had successfully phoned me a day earlier, and had charged my card. Unreliable and made a dishonest and defensive statement to my partner. To this day, no response, no apology, though they did refund my card. STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT BOOKING THIS COMPANY.

Used Maid in Victoria for 12 months. For our first five months, we had lots of skipped cleanings, people showing up on wrong days, etc (even though we had prescheduled monthly cleanings on the same date and time). It was very frustrating and I'd be one the phone with them every single time. One time, my wife came home early and the cleaners were leaving 30 minutes after showing up. They looked surprised that we were coming home and said they had to leave early. Then we had a new cleaner who was AMAZING, showed up on time or even early, cleaned everything and was very communicative. Was honestly the best. But this month we got re-assigned to another cleaner and guess what? It's been 2 hours and the person has yet to show up. I guess that's the normal way that Maid in Victoria is unless they have a cleaner who takes their own initiative? I sent an email and left a message on their phone system and I'm getting deja vu on my previous experiences. Not sure why I gave them 12 months to prove themselves....cancelling now.

I booked online and they ask right away for the credit card info and make it seem like you're booked for sure despite comments in review replies that they send an auto-email saying that the booking is NOT confirmed and then a later reminder about the booking - confusing (these appeared in my junk mail so didn't get them right away). I did call and the guy verbally confirmed. The day of the cleaning, nobody showed up and no follow up call or email explanation. After SEVERAL calls (voicemail only) and one email, I finally was told that the cleaner had gotten into a small car accident. This was a move-out clean and I was at risk of losing much of my damage deposit as the move-out inspection was the same day. Thankfully they did book someone for first thing the next day and Dusty did a great job, getting it done just in time for the rescheduled inspection at the 11th hour. A company who likely relies on word of mouth and reviews should put customer service at the top of their list. Stuff happens but there should be plans to cover off when an employee can't make it to work. People rely on booked appointments and assume that they will follow through. At the very least, return my calls, answer the phone, or better yet, as a very basic service, call your customer to let them know what's happening. I would not recommend.

Updated to add: I received another automated receipt charging us the amount we were discounted. We’ve now paid the full price for subpar work. I’ve changed my review to one star (originally two stars) to reflect this poor customer service. ————————————————— I’m very disappointed with this company. We booked a moving-out clean for our house. After the clean, I walked through the house to make sure it met the check list requirements for our move out inspection (which I discussed with the cleaner in addition to leaving the list out for him to review). I found numerous issues with items that weren’t cleaned thoroughly enough. I emailed the company the day after the cleaning and included pictures to show the items that were clearly not cleaned. I received no response except for an automated message the next day asking for a review of my experience. We’d received our inspection at that point and had money taken off our damage deposit as a result of the items the cleaner didn’t clean. I filled out the review with updated information about having lost money on our deposit and still have not received a response days later. In both of my communications, I included my contact information with a request for them to get in touch with me. Today, I received two auto messages confirming that payment has been processed. In reviewing the final receipt, we learned that we had received $30 off the final amount ($227) which was incommensurate with the amount we lost on the deposit. I’m very disappointed in the service we received and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone based on their poor customer service and communication. If they had contacted me to discuss these issues, I think we could have resolved them. But their lack of communication really soured our experience with them.

I had an unfortunate series of experiences with this company. The cleaner that came the first 2 times used a dry mop on kitchen and bathroom floors. I had to wash them properly as that doesn't thoroughly clean floors. I spoke to them about the lack of quality and was told that they can't all carry specialized equipment. I wasn't offered the "200% refund if unsatisfied" that they have posted on their Google summary. I did give them another chance. This time, 2 ladies came and they used a proper mop and did a great job! However, the estimate was for $140 and I was charged $189. That was last month. This month (I'm set up for monthly service), I get the reminder and it says the estimate is $180. I went back to the owner and said that the estimate on their website was for $115 with tax. (If you're wondering why the difference in monthly amounts, last month I asked for the fridge to be wiped down on the inside). The estimate you get on their website is NOT what they charge you. If you ask about it, you get told to move on and made to feel like you're the problem and have too many demands. Just asked for integrity between quote and bill. And to wash the floors properly. I don't think I was being unreasonable. I would never recommend this company, and this is the first time I've left a negative review for anything.

No one showed up for a scheduled booking and no one called to say they were going to be late or they couldn't make it. No one would answer the phone. Cancelled all future bookings through phone messages and email. Have to do the cleaning all myself now that it's Thanksgiving and can't get anyone else to come in to clean at this late notice.

I made a booking to have this agency do a full day cleaning more than 2 weeks in advance of our party. I received 2 confirmations of the booking but less than 2 days before the booked date a postponement of a further day was imposed. On the day before the party the cleaner never showed up. No excuses. No response to two phone calls. No response to email. Just a cancellation email the next evening as the party started. BEWARE!!!!

Told the owner that I'd like to reschedule the clean. She didn't respond and apparently the cleaner showed up. Nobody called to let me know the cleaner was there because if they did, I'd have provided door codes to avoid wasting the cleaners time. But nope, no call, no email just a random charge although there's no proof the cleaner actually showed up so service was definitely not provided. Owner has refused to respond to emails so I'll be filing a dispute with my credit card. Scroll down the positive reviews and one of them is from the owner. Laughable. Stay away from this company!

Awful. We hired Maid In Victoria for a move-out cleaning and I had to clean everything myself after she left. Despite sending them pictures of some of the overlooked mess, their office was rude and dismissive. After many very unpleasant phone calls, they eventually offered a fraction of our money back while still insisting they'd done their job.

Did a good job with the clean. The company included travel time to 'View Royal' in the final invoice. This is not something I considered when booking them.
