Update: This company has gone downhill in the last two years. Cleanings went from great to okay, but my main issue is their scheduling. I booked a cleaning for Monday at 9am, and on Friday afternoon I got a confirmation where they had moved the appointment to 3pm. Life Maid Easy has been moving around appointments unilaterally for a while - usually just by half an hour or an hour, so I've lived with it. But six hours?! Ridiculous. I'll take my business elsewhere. Previous review, from 2016: Just had them clean my apartment yesterday. Totally worth it. They do a fantastic job of cleaning, no spots missed; they even get under the couch. Affordable for the service you get.

I just had our first cleaning with life maid easy for mother's day and I was delightfully surprised about how they went above and beyond my expectations! I asked for some deep cleaning of our bathroom and kitchen for 2 hours, and not only did they do that but they also tidied up the rest of our house. I like their attention to detail and they even displayed the kids toys which was a nice touch. My wife and I came home afterwards and she was very happy and thankful for their great work. :)

The main appeal when I first started using them was that they are local and use use non-hazardous, non-toxic, environmentally friendly products which is extremely important to me. Whilst I was nervous in the beginning, as I am never at home whilst they are on site, I find them totally trustworthy and always come home to a very clean and fresh home.

We've used Life Maid Easy many times now, for regular cleanings, move-out and move-in cleanings and twice-a-year spring and fall "deep cleans." We've never been disappointed - they always do a stellar job. In fact, our contractors asked for their contact information after a renovation clean because they were so impressed with the great work and attention to detail. (Dust the entire ceiling? No problem!) Also, there are never any harsh chemical smells afterward and yet everything sparkles. Compared to other services we've used over the years, the ease of booking, paying and scheduling as well as the friendliness and efficiency of the cleaners are really remarkable.

Update: Cleaners arrived early and did a thorough and good job of cleaning our unit for move-out, even pulling out the oven to clean beneath it. Our property manager was happy with the condition of the unit for our move-out inspection. Assuming none of the original issues happen again we will definitely use them for move-out cleanings in the future and maybe even try using their services for a monthly cleaning. Original Post: Tried using the online request form twice, and after several days of not hearing anything I tried calling. Was told they didn't receive my online form submissions and that they'd call me back in a couple hours while they see if they can book the day(s) I'm interested in. After 6 hours of no call back I tried calling back (during office hours) and found myself going automatically to hold. I accidentally hung up after 20 minutes so I called back and got voicemail. Tried again and back to hold. Gave up and tried again later and I did get an answer from someone who I couldn't understand (I think there was a problem with our connection because it seemed she couldn't hear me and thus didn't know I needed to communicate in English) and was then hung up on. I tried calling back AGAIN and couldn't get anyone. It's been days since then and haven't heard a peep. Very frustrating... My boyfriend has since called and was able to set everything up for the time I wanted within a couple hours (did not mention my name, though I admit I said they better actually call back while he was on the phone with them). Will update depending on the quality of the service but there is no way I'll be leaving 5 stars.

Our overall experience with Life Maid Easy was a great one! Right from the beginning, Miguel, who made our appointment was super helpful and accommodating, as our request was fairly last minute. The ladies arrived to complete our Move Out clean right on schedule and were super friendly. We completed an easy walk through and they got straight to work. They completed the task in exactly the time they’d allocated and texted when they were complete. When we arrive, the place was spotless. The ladies did an exceptional job and we were so pleased. The only downside is that we didn’t have the chance to enjoy the fruits of their labour as we had just moved out!! Thanks Life Maid Easy for making our move that’s much easier!!

I have two kids, a dog and my husband and I work full time. It's difficult to do as much deep cleaning as I really like and superficial cleans only last so long. We have utilized this company 3 times and every time they come through it's like a breath of fresh air (well, lavender scented air). I felt prompted to share an exceptional experience that happened on my last clean. I had misplaced my credit card a few weeks back and I guess during the clean someone came across it. They had left it on my living room table. Speak of trustworthy. I had some reserves letting people I didn't know into my place. This is a rundown of the past couple of months and what it’s taken to request my keys back after I fired this company. I live in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. One cleaning was close to $500! Cleaners were reorganizing my cupboards - great of you want the service but not without warning and with an insane cleaning bill. They were overcharging, putting through charges on my credit card without warning or authorization to do so, scheduling cleaning two weeks after I was charged $300 for a cleaning and after I requested my next cleaning for 6 weeks and refusing to cancel that cleaning without speaking to there manager first, trying to justify another unauthorized charge to my card. Really, this company was a disaster. 1. Emailed requesting my keys be returned immediately after advising I no longer wanted their services. (The staff are extremely slow to respond to emails.) 2. Then having to go to the office to pick them up when I was told to, but a staff member had them in her possession with NO scheduled cleaning of my home and wasn’t in the office when they said she’d be (Why would a staffer have my home keys and the company not have them kept safely in the office?) 3. Requested they be mailed as I couldn’t wait at the office and was also heading out of town for vacation 4. Was told they were ‘left on my mailbox’ (I don’t have a mailbox accessible by anyone but myself and Canada Post) 5. I eventually received an empty envelope that appeared to have contained my keys, but the paper was thin and they weren’t secured. The keys bouncing around tore out the bottom of the envelope and fell out.

Update 2020. I STILL LOVE THIS COMPANY. They helped me recently when I needed a very fast cleaning in advance of a refinancing inspection. I've been using LME on a regular basis since the summer of 2012. I often work six days a week and need extra help keeping my condo clean. They do a terrific cleaning job and work around my schedule. I can't recommend them highly enough. Here's why: - The cleaners and office staff are professional and a pleasure to deal with. - They keep notes on the little 'issues' in my place (ex: a shower rod that sometimes falls) so I don't have to brief them every visit. - They use green cleaning products. - The office emails appointment reminders and follows up for feedback. - They bill my credit card directly so I don't have to fumble around with cash. I recently used them at my elderly mother's house - a big four hour cleaning. They did an outstanding job and I'll be bringing them in for regular maintenance. I'm loyal to excellent service providers. Life Maid Easy is nothing short of excellent. UPD August 2020. Fantastic as always and taking Covid precautions very seriously. I use them now monthly and couldn’t imagine going to another cleaning service. Thx LME.

A terrible company in Vancouver. Zero accountability Company brought in a person not bonded to our home and the company promised a new team and stated would get back by the end of the day. It's coming up to two weeks and they still have our keys. Hire at your own risk. I could go on but it would be too long. I also had a problem with overcharge. Apparently Kyle and Miquel have a habit of saying " We will get back to you by the end of the day." I think they are reading a canned script and or outsourced.

The cleaners arrived promptly and did a good job. They're very sweet, polite and accommodating. It was a small 500 sq. ft. basement suite I wanted cleaned again since the former tenant did an incomplete job. LME only had an hour before running off to the next job, but I felt that since they charged close to $90 for two cleaners/hour, it would be of exceptional quality and efficiency. Unfortunately, one of the cleaners was much more thorough than the other, ie. very apparent areas were missed in the bathroom, such as the toilet bowl and mirror. The glass shower door also did not look great and walls were not cleaned, cobwebs still on the ceiling. The mop used on floors is the same I use at home and leaves behind trails of wet dust and does not clean well at the outer edges of the "pad". It is inadequate for professional cleaning and should be replaced with a sturdier sponge mop then the floor wiped again if spots remain. Some areas did get cleaned when I pointed it out at the end. As the company charges at the higher end of the scale, both cleaners should be highly efficient, experienced, and using top quality equipment. I am hesitant to hire this company again.

Sad to have to write this review. We have used them several times over the last year and they have been fine. Recently booked them for a full clean of a house my daughter just moved into. A four hour job with the priority being the floors. Unfortunately the floors were still very dirty after they completed the job. We both spoke to the owner about our disappointment and it seemed like it would have been pretty easy for him to send the cleaners back to fix the problem, do a good job on the floors and retain us as customers. However, we didn't hear back from him after calling to complain. I guess we will be looking for new cleaners for the future.

A rushed job. 2 people cleaning a 1000sq ft apartment for 2.5 hours should leave an impeccable result. While I appreciate that you lined up our fridge magnets in a neat row, I would have preferred spot free mirrors, shower doors and light switches. It is disappointing to return home after paying for someone to clean your apartment only to find that the 'professionals' did a worse job then I could have done in half the time.

Tried calling both the 604 and 1-800 number multiple times to find out what was going on...hold times out after 5 minutes and then you get sent to voicemail. Only good thing about this company is that it was easy to get my money back. Update: After frantically trying to find another cleaning company to schedule last minute and sign no luck, I resorted back to Life Maid Easy. They were able to accommodate and offered a discounted rate. Final Update: The cleaning was half an hour early for the rescheduled appointment and did a great job cleaning our place. Our property manager even said it was perfect ????

The team was on time to our home, which was almost a 2 hour drive for them so we were already happy. But the 2 cleaners did such an incredible job. We had lived in our condo with 2 dogs for 2 years and after 5 hours it looked like it did when we first moved in.

I've been using them for a few years now. They have fairly high standards, but depending on who shows up it can be hit or miss. Once you find a team you like, make sure to keep asking for the same team. Over time they'll get to know your place and any special needs it has. I have no idea if their pricing is good or not. I tried them on a whim years ago, and have never really looked back. If there are problems, they'll work with you to make you happy. For instance, their base visit is 2 hours, they don't have shorter times (or at least they didn't when I started with them). I had one team that rushed through and finished in 90 minutes. I've had other teams finish early and they always asked "is there anything else you'd like done?" This one team just basically wanted to leave. I tried to get them to do other stuff but they really weren't interested. Soo, I called up and LME knocked 30 minutes off my bill; no arguing, nothing, just an automatic willingness to charge me less. Keep in mind that every person that comes into your home is a person. If you are polite, they'll be polite. If you ask reasonable things, they'll do them. If you're rude, they won't like you much and their attitude will reflect it. Also, many of their "second team member"s either don't speak english or don't speak it very well. Always know who's the "main cleaner", as you need to know who to make any special requests to. I've never had any trouble communicating as long as I approached the right person. That said, some teams have 2 good English speakers. I have no idea what languages they have access to for those of you who don't speak English yourselves. That's probably enough. Overall they get 4 stars as they're far from perfect, but for the most part they've done great work for me over the years.

Cleaning was ok, I requested the washroom fan get vacuumed and windows get wiped, they confirmed over phone that it would be fine, but it never happened. And they also took my cans to recycle without asking first. On the bright side they were quite thorough with their cleaning, staff seemed like friendly people, and my house smelled super nice. Is it worth over 200 though? Hell no.

Over a year ago, I think I first heard of Life Maid Easy as one of their company cars was parked on a sidestreet - probably cleaning someone's house. A year later, I decided to book an appointment. Google Reviews seemed positive. On the day of my appointment, two happy ladies were punctual. They got right to work and as time progressed, I knew I made the right decision. Their attention to detail was very good and they did tasks that I would never have the patience for - clean ledges, my range hood, and wipe down my dirty kettle as examples. When they left, I felt that every dollar paid to this company was worth it; I do not remember the last time I was so elated to spend money. Life Maid Easy has certainly earned future calls from me. My first experience with Life Maid Easy. The cleaning is not great overall. The floors, cabinets and bathtubs are fully touches, however they didn't clean my balcony. The janitors said there wasn't any note about it. Well, this is for moving out cleaning, everything should be spotless. The operator should pass all details and the janitors should confirm with me when I opened the door. In addition, the walls weren't completely wiped. One of the janitors told me that he tried, some marks came off, some not. Next day when I checked the unit, I wiped, all came off with just water. Also, there are couple spots they missed such as surface of heater and fireplace, windows. Good thing is they do following up and offer me to come back and finish the jobs.

Not very good at all. My place was completely empty and they missed a ton of spots. I told them to add an extra half hour if they needed it. They didn't add it and they absolutely needed it. Was very disappointed and have been spending a lot of my own time cleaning it properly since. They try to upsell you on longer cleans and then do a bad job and blame you for not getting the extra hours. If they can't handle a completely empty apartment with two people in 2.5 hours, they are hopeless.

Excel-lent work quality! We needed to clean a unit that was REALLY dirty; all we had to do is provide a detailed list of what we wanted cleaned in that suite and the job was done accordingly. The ladies, were friendly, punctual and professional and did a great job! Also, the charge was more than fair, considering the state of the unit and the amount of work. Definitely recommend!

Hired them for a moveout clean - there was no major dirt in the apartment so the job should have been easy. The cleaners barely did anything, the bathroom and kitchen which i mainly asked for only got a cursory wipe-down. All for a huuuuge charge. Upon complaint, they "discounted" the clean to $360, which is a huge price for work a single person in an hour could have done better. I fixed it by cleaning myself afterwards.

I hate to write that review, but I feel like it needs to be written. I used Life Maid Easy 5 times. First of all, you need to know that the rate is a bit more than 80 dollars an hour for a team of 2 employees. 40 bucks an hour is not bad at all for a janitor. The 2nd most expensive I've seen was 40 dollars an hour so far. It was easy to set up when you get a hold of the operator. They sent their best team (I figured that out later) on day 1. Well, they were 30 minutes late and didn't call but the job they did was pristine. The 2nd team was just ok and the 3rd time was a disaster. I called them and they sent me the 1st team I had for the 4th time, apologized and I decided to give them another chance. The 5th and last, they told me that they would send senior associates of theirs. It was the worst. They came 1 hour late, rushed the job, didn't do it right of course, complained right away, and the operator lady was so rude, with a terrible customer experience and service. It was their fault that they arrived late, rushed my job to go to the next one (only stayed 1 hour instead of 2), did not even finish cleaning and were so pissed off when I told them it was their fault. The worst. It gradually and very quickly went South. They kept sending unprofessional teams, lazy employees that were missing spots and complaining right away before even starting to work. For a 80+ Dollar an hour company, the service is terrible. They did not call when they are late (30min the 1st time and 1 hour the second time come on !), they are not calling back when you leave them a voicemail when the phone operator is away for lunch (4 times), and they send people that complain before starting when they hook you on a 1st good time experience. I will not give them a 3rd chance.

Hired them to help with the cleaning as we didn't have time after having our new born baby. They did such a great, I called them in a few more times. Will certainly have them come in for another cleaning in the next month! Staff are very friendly as well. The mint chocolates that they leave behind are a nice touch!

I am sorry to say but today I am very disappointed in this company, I had booked my apt back in Sep for Sunday Dec 22 @ 1:30 cleaning, I received a confirmation during the week that Harni would be here at 1:30pm give or take 30 mins. It is now 4pm and there has been no phone call from the company or any sight of Harni. I have sent 2 emails and left 3 messages. I could clean my own house but I am unable to use my right hand as I broke my shoulder. I will now have to find someone on short notice to see if they can come and clean my home. I am not blaming Harni I am blaming the company for poor communication. Life Made Easy, NOT THIS TIME.

Great people, terrific services. From the telephone booking people, the email and text reps and especially the actual cleaners. Their work is exceptional and their cleaning staff makes you feel very comfortable that they are in your home. Coming in after they’re done, you feel like you’ve entered a high end hotel. I have used the life maid for a deep cleaning. The ladies were nice but it wasn't a deep cleaning. I sent some photos but nobody called me, even though they told me they will before charging me.I have to clean after in certain areas. They finished 15 minutes early but the company still charged me full amount. NOT worth your money. The company is in Philippine and hire people to do the job. I received a discount for the work done. The office was responsive.

I will NEVER use Life Maid Easy again. I would have given them 0 stars if I could. I hired them for a move in clean and I have zero good things to say about it. The two workers spent their time standing around and socializing. Then they had the audacity to call their manager and tell their manager they needed more time to clean my house. I watched them clean the hardwood floors and they just pushed the dirt around. They didn't rinse or change the mop head once as they cleaned 900 sq ft of floors. I mopped the floors myself twice after they left and the water was BLACK. They broke my blinds and a kitchen cupboard while cleaning. I was promised over and over again that a manager would be calling me to rectify the situation. Over a week after my cleaning, and after 3 different phone calls, and speaking to 5 different managers/ customer service reps, I FINALLY spoke to a manager and said I wanted a full refund... because not only do i have to clean my own home after a "cleaning company" did it, but I also have to repair damage that was not there in the first place. I will NEVER be hiring Life Maid Easy again.
