Very poor communication, disorganized, and inconsistent cleaning quality. I hired this company to clean my house every four weeks for eight months and after being over billed multiple times, one no-show, and finally a very poor service, I cancelled. They were cheaper than some of the competition, but not worth the hassle.

Paid the cleaner on-site, however the payment was never given to the company. It wasn't until nearly 6-months later I receive an email saying my payment is outstanding, at which time I notified the company that payment was accepted by the cleaner. Instead of holding the cleaner responsible, or having the proper tracking systems in place to avoid these issues, my bill was sent to collections. Highly unprofessional business practices and severely disorganized.

Unprepared, unprofessional, late and slow. Two cleaners showed up for a move out clean. Both cleaners arrived late, and one showed up with very little cleaning supplies, asking for a vacuum cleaner and cloths. He left before the job was finished. The second cleaner did work hard though, but there was too much to do so I ended up having to help her, even though I hired cleaners so I wouldn’t be tied down with that task. I will not be hiring them again.

Out of the several times we had them in to clean our house, 2 times were satisafactory. Once we had been away for several days between cleaning and we came home to wet laundry left in the washing machine. The last time we had them in, they didn't charge the bedding and instead put clean sheets and pillow cases over the dirty ones on the bed. The floors were swept a bit but not cleaned into the corners of the rooms. These are just a couple of the concerns we had. We weren't living here full time when we used them, and I think they took advantage of our absence. Our home takes about 3 hours to clean well, and once the cleaner left after 30 minutes. We called to discuss our issues, but minimal improvement was noticed unless they knew we would be home to check. Not recommend.

The kitchen sink was dirty with the couple dishes in it left dirty in the sink, bar stools not wiped around the bottom, coffee table tops, side tables, window sills, windows and kitchen chairs not wiped or cleaned and under the beds & dressers weren't cleaned. We left the house pretty tidy so would think there was time for this. We told the owner about this and they sent a more "senior" cleaner the following visit, same issues - needless to say we cancelled.

I had a poor experience with Kyla Kleaning, and would not recommend them to friends. I was supposed to have two cleaners come, but only one showed up. The cleaner did an okay job cleaning (although not everything that was indicated in their "move out" package was completed), but they spilled water and ruined the leg on one of my tables. My landlord later contacted me, after I moved out, and told me that the stainless steel handle on the oven had been stripped with the wrong type of cleaner, as well. Not worth the price.

Basic cleaning done well but don't expect any extras. Don't ask for a dish to be wash, a window sill to be wiped, behind the tub to be wiped. etc,etc.You can hire a different cleaner to come and do extras but then you have to book 2 different people which takes more organizing and more emails.

AVOID avoid! I had emailed about a cleaning several weeks ago, and we got booked in for this Tuesday at 6pm. 6pm comes and goes, and nothing! I left a voicemail and email, and sat around in my house for two hours before giving up and cleaning for a group of guests coming the next day. The next morning, no phone call or email with an apology. I called and was informed (by email) that there was an admin error and asked if I wanted to rebook. Surely an appointment being completely skipped warrants a discount on the next service. That was not offered and when I voiced my frustration at not being called I was sent a rude email back from Alison, who maybe needs to come into the office earlier if she can't handle the number of emails she receives. A skipped appointment voicemail should be your number one priority. Take your business elsewhere and read the one star reviews, they tell you enough about this business. I will go and support other Victoria businesses that deliver on their promises. Beyond frustrated.

Poor communcation. Gave our address. Never showed up. So we gave another chance, booked for Saturday 9am. We didnt know if we mentioned it was the basement suite or not, so we waiting up top for half an hour. no show. We had to leave, and 2 minutes later we get aphone call from a girl who sounded like she was hungover or stoned (she just sounded REALLY out of it). Saying "it was the wrong address" even though we gave it, AND waited on the corner of the street for her. Very unimpressed. We will not be using this company. Maybe the owner needs to hire people who are more reliable, and do not lie. She told us she was at the front door, and not the basement suite at 9am. NOT true, as we were right there waiting.

Kyla Kleaning was awful not to mention one of their workers ate food from our fridge, stole money from the owner, (our payment), arrived late, one day didn't even show up, and before I knew all of the theft occurring this company tried to do a good job three different times until I finally said "you know what, I think that you cannot provide the kind of work we are looking for." They tried to offer a free cleaning after we said we no longer wanted them on our house but, by this time we had given them three different attempts and they had eaten from our fridge. If that wasn't bad enough after we paid months ago for their poor cleaning services once covid hit they tried to get money from us all of a sudden almost a year later stating that we never paid them! They said we owed three different amounts, their office is a mess, they even tried to send this to collections!!! Thank god I have all the email communication between us and they are now under investigation.

Not trustworthy, unreliable, poor service, horribly run business! We used Kyla Kleaning for 2 years. During that time the service went between okay to horrible. Their staff are not well trained, and they have a very high turn over in staff which means that I was regularly having to "train" the new cleaner. Kyla Kleaning never invoiced us; we stupidly gave them a cheque whenever asked. They are highly unorganized and assigned our payments to the wrong accounts, then demanded a large additional payment at the end of year! In reviewing their records, we found that they had over charged us. We paid for time that Kyla Kleaning was not at our house! We had several pieces of jewelry and money go missing. When I questioned Allison, of Kyla Kleaning, about a missing bracelet and the integrity of our cleaner, she responded that it couldn't have been our cleaner as she is trusted to clean Allison's home! Once we bought a safe and secured everything before the cleaners arrived, nothing went missing. Addendum: I sent documentation to Kyla Kleaning proving that we had over paid our account. Instead they decided to pursue collections. The Better Business Bureau will be very interested in this I am sure.

I desperately wanted to write a great review but a job that had me having to return to a vacated suite TWICE because of poor, really poor, cleaning on the kitchen generally and kitchen appliances specifically, leaves me little choice. While I received a lovely apology, I did not receive any kind of discount so I cannot recommend this service. UPDATE: Kyla did contact me and provided a discount. I do believe her apology was sincere and I can only imagine how difficult it must be to get good staff in this business. As a developer who is often looking for a good cleaning company and based on her customer service, I would give them another try.

I hired Kyla Kleaning to do a move-out clean in the basement suite I was renting at the time. I was told that two cleaners would be coming to clean the suite. I wasn't home at the time, but my landlord (who lived above) indicated to me that only one showed up, and did not stay for the entire time I paid for. In addition to that, the one cleaner did not complete all the services that were listed in the "move out" package. My kitchen was not properly cleaned, nor were the baseboards, etc. My landlord also indicated to me that the cleaner ruined the finish on the oven handle (stainless steel). Additionally, I later discovered the foot on one of my tables was ruined from water damage. It was just a cheap IKEA table, but it was permanently destroyed. I literally tell everyone who asks for cleaning recs to NOT use Kyla Kleaning. I will only ever use a cleaner that is personally recommended to me by a friend in the future (sorry Google!)

The cleaner was late, and was really bad at their job. I have to clean again after they cleaned, they didn't clean the bottom of anything or any surface under kitchen bottles/chairs/bed/small mats. And for the floor near table legs/walls, they also didn't clean, it's like the cleaner was only pushing the dirty things on the floor to the little crack between wall and floor. I wanted a cleaning person to clean the corners and the little gaps I cannot clean well myself but apparently their cleaner also didn't know how to clean those places. I doubt that they even try to clean the difficult places. I don't understand how can they charge 32+GST per hour for such poor service.

A friend hired this company for a full move out clean for her apartment. We returned after approximately 4 hours after the cleaners had started to do a final inspection and we were horrified by what we found. The apartment was disgusting, full of dirt, dust, dirty rag marks on everything, cupboards not wiped down, dishwasher interior dirty, I could go in and on. We had to go out, purchase cleaning supplies and 3 of us spent the next 3 hours doing a proper clean before having to hand over keys. No one from the company responded to calls. They didn't charge because it was such a complete disaster. Who sends a cleaner to do a job without a vacuum or proper cleaning supplies? Kayla Kleaning does.

Absolutely terrible experience. Requested a thorough deep clean in order to get my place ready to sell. Came home to find my curtains crumpled on the floor and the string from my blinds snapped off. Floors were dirty, windowsills a mess, stains on the walls. Toilet not cleaned. Whatever product they used on my fridge left it streaky and awful looking. Thick layer of dust on the top of my fridge. Requested they return to do the job properly and once again returned to the same problems. Toilet not cleaned, corners of floors not cleaned or vacuumed, dust on the fridge. Blinds in the kitchen broken this time, and several of the cleaning supplies left behind as if the cleaner left in a hurry. Absolutely would NOT recommend this company. Would give negative stars if that were possible.

Quoted 12 - 14 hrs. Received 2 1/2 hrs from a couple of employees. They don't own vacuums and don't use foam erasers. If you want a professional effort, you will have to shadow their every move. I hired this cleaning service twice and both times was let down. The first was a move out clean where they were supposed to clean the place top to bottom. When my landlord inspected the place after they had cleaned, she told me they had failed to clean both the oven and the insides of the cabinetry. She was kind enough not to charge me for their failure. KK did give me a reduced price that time to make up for it so I gave them another chance. The second time I had moved into my new place and hired them for regular cleaning, as I have 2 cats and the fur is hard to keep up with. I made it clear in my email the shed fur was my main concern. The very first time they cleaned, I checked after and they had not cleaned under my furniture at all. Under the couch was still a nightmare of cat hair dust bunnies. When I complained the customer service person I contacted said "sorry they must have forgot:(" and did not offer a discount again. Only after I emailed back was I given one. I canceled my service that same day. Their prices are slightly cheaper than the competition, but trust me the cheaper price is reflected in the quality of their cleaning. If you are looking for steadfast, reliable, hard working cleaners then I suggest Bear Mountain Cleaning. I have been with them for a year now and couldn't be happier.

Really disappointed! I did not see any reliable and quality cleaning work. It is a little bit hard for me to accept such "professional" cleaning work. Basically, two desks in the bedrooms were not touched at all. The floors of kitchen, living room, and entrance were even not swept just simply with a broom not to mention vacuum and washing with a mop that is available in the living room. All dirty marks were not removed from the floors no to mention those marks on the walls. One side of the inside oven was not completely cleaned. The inside of the kitchen cabinets were not touched at all. One cleaner came half an hour late after the appointment time. I took a month to receive the cleaning invoice. Even I got a discount by "reducing" cleaning hours, I have to share my sad experience with this "professional" company.

Absolutely aweful! They have this wonderful and complete list of services on their website, but it's just for show because they don't even do half the items they list. My floors were not washed, my bathroom counters were not cleaned, just to name a couple. I left a message and sent an email asking for someone to call me regarding my concerns and am still waiting for a response 8 days later. Don't waste your time or your money. Update: I received an email to apologize for the late reply and offer a free clean. I responded asking for someone to PHONE me to discuss the issues I had. They responded that I would get a call by the end of the week. I'm still waiting. Save your time and avoid this company.

Kyla Kleaning advertises they have trained staff, but I am not sure who trains them. Hmmm.... I had a girl come who I will call H. She did a very sub-standard job, and didn't even bother mopping the bathroom floor. I phoned the company and they were ver nice, and sent someone to re-do my place the next day, who was great. The second girl re-mopped the entire floor, including the living and dining room, and showed me the water. It would be impossible for it to be that dirty if H. had done anywhere near a decent job. I had another experience, and that girl was great as well. Hoorah! I was on a rolle. But then I phoned Kyla Kleanign third time - and they sent H. again. I thought perhaps the company had talked to her, and she would rise to the occasion and do a good job. but no way! She did a TERRIBLE job, was unfriendly, and snuck out early without completing the cleaining. I had to go out while she was here, and told her that if I didn't know if I'd be back when her 2 hours was up, and if I wasn't, to just leave the apartment door open when she left. Well, my errands didn't take nearly as long also expected, and I came back 20 minutes early - only to find her gone. I don't know how long she actually stayed after I left (if at all). but I didn't see any difference in my apartment when I left, and when I came back. Before H. came, I put my sheets in the laundry earlier, and had accidently dropped the comforter on the floor.Because I just had hip surgery and could not bend to pick it up, I told her about it, thinking she would pick it up whenshe went to clean the bedroom floor.. Well - the comforter was still on the floor, in the exact place it was left. So were my slippers. Nothing had been moved. She just didn't bother to clean the floor. She didn't dust the bedroom either. She just ignored the entire room. When she cleaned the living room floor, she didn't bother to move the foot stool. Rather - she cleaned around it. There was still dust, as well as a pen I'd dropped, underneath. The dusting in the living room was kin to what a 5-year-old would do. Everything on the end talbes was exactly as I had left them. She didn't bother to move a book or a pen - she just dusted around them. The coffee table was half dusted. Seriously. The sun was out that day, and there was a clear line down the middle of my coffee table - with one half of it dusted, and the other half ignored. She didn't dust the shelf underneath, either, whic I couldn't bend down to do. Is this the way the cleaners are "highly trained"? They did send someone else, who she was great. I appreciate that. But I don't think I'm being overly picky when I ask that if I hire someone to clean my place - they actually clean it. And that it's done properly the first time?. And that, when I pay for a certain number of hours, they actually put in the time? The office staff is friendly, they really try to accommodate you with times, and the price is good. But just be aware that if you hire them, you're taking a chance on what kind of service you get. And Dear H - what you might not realize is that is stealing, not only from me but from the compan that pays you. It's just not cool. And it's also giving your company a bad name.

Hi Allison I wanted to thank you for making no real effort to fix the carpet your cleaner wrecked. We appreciate the fact that it has taken you so long to handle this (3 months now). I understand that it is easier to move on and forget but maybe its not always the best choice :) Thank you again for your emails stating that it was normal wear and tear.. Makes sense! As well as your email stating that somehow we scared away the carpet installers. Too me it sounded like the job was to big for him and he didn't want to move all the furniture. We thank you for the $50 you offered! it was a nice gesture.. super cute! We don't want your money, we want you to handle it. ;) The door is always open for you to get the carpets fixed. This company will always make it sound like it was your fault or at least not their fault. Just read the responses. They are simply liars! They make very little to no effort until you go public, so make it public. I wish you all a risky venture with these guys ;P Re. Your cleaner left the house without telling anyone about the issue, the carpet is not the main concern is this case.

The quality of the clean the first time was good but following that their punctuality was unreliable. Once I had no one show up (which they claimed after the fact that they had sent an email to request a date change - of which they did not follow up on until 2hrs after my originally scheduled clean) then when they rescheduled they apparently showed up 15 minutes late after I already had to leave (after having waited for 15 min for them). Perhaps this is doable for someone letting them into their home by a keypad on a workday but if you're scheduling your day around this service, don't bother.

My sister hired Kyla Kleaning to come in and do a deep clean of our elderly mother's main living area. WIthout explanation or warning, the crew arrived late, seemed more interested in chatting with each other, and overall did a crappy job. We had specifically asked for couch cushions to be removed and vacuumed, floors washed, mop boards wiped. The job was so superficial that you could hardly tell anything had been done. They also charged us for the full 2 hours, even though they arrived 20 minutes late and left a few minutes early! Would never recommend them.
