I hired AspenClean to clean out a townhouse after we moved out. Tanya, Anna and Lucy did a great job. Far better than I could have done myself spending twice the time. I don't think the fridge and bathrooms have ever been that clean before. They came 5 min early despite the snow, when other contractors simply cancelled. Would definitely recommend.

DO NOT HIRE Aspen Clean if you truly want a "clean" house. I hired them because I have poor health and need help with daily activities. With their advertisements, I had high hopes that my home would be thoroughly cleaned and sparkling when they left. I was greatly disappointed. Not one area of my home was cleaned fully. Every single room had things left undone. When you have to reclean and / or finish the cleaners job after they leave, that's bad news. The people are very nice but the cleaning standards are very poor. I was expecting three people and at the last minute they sent four. I have a tiny house. They were here for one hour and 10 minutes and I was charged $333.90 for that short time and sloppy work. Save your money and hire someone else. My original plan was to have them come on a monthly basis, but now I have to look for someone new. Doesn't anyone have ethics anymore?!

Really disappointed in this company. My parents hired them to come out and clean their house as they were moving far away. They wanted it to be professionally clean for selling the house. So it was empty, nothing to work around and easy to do maybe just a little elbow grease (the team they sent didn’t know how to scrub). Upstairs was done well but it was like they got tired on the main floor. I watched them spray the oven to soak it, I thought, good! I don’t have to worry. But then when I came to look over the house There was so much to do! There was spots on the inside of the sink. The oven door when I ran a finger over it was greasy and black. They broke the cheese door and tried to hide it. Then told my parents they had to go buy the new piece and they would refund it. My parents were leaving the next day for an 18 hour flight they didn’t have time to order a new piece for their house, the company should have been replacing it instead of taking my parents time to go and replace it. Time is money and when you are moving forget it. Not to mention, hiding it, teach your employees not to hide damage they cause. There is a way to manage this sort of thing because I get that it happens but this was NOT the way. Your reviews on google are good but your yelp reviews reflect what I saw with your team.

I have used Aspen Clean multiple times in the past. Polite over the phone and sometimes annoyingly formal, they clean a bit better than Cleaning With Love. They are more expensive, but were never late and always took the garbage out (whereas some companies just change the liners and leave the trash at the door for you to take out yourself). We stopped using them for a few minor things that got on my nerves after awhile. They put a glass coffee carafe into a drawer under the oven filled wih cast iron pots. They started to make our bed in weird ways (putting certain blankets lengthwise which forced me to remake the bed anyways). They also forgot to change the bed linens one time but since the cleaning team said it had been done I was assured by management that I must be mistaken (um...what?).They also got my keys mixed up at some point which was pretty inconvenient even though they were extremely apologetic. They never broke anything. Things felt clean. We would probably use them again.

A disclaimer: this rating does not at all reflect the cleaning ladies and quality of their service. The cleaning ladies and the job they did, I would rate a solid 4.8/5. The problem is with management. (Warning: long story to follow) The team that came to my home was phenomenal. It's just too bad that due to poor management, problems that can be easily avoided end up leaving a terrible taste in the customers mouth. Long version below. --------------------------- Basically I asked for a same day booking. I needed the house cleaned at 1:30pm ish. I chatted with them online around 8:30am. They told me we can set an appointment for 2:00pm today! Fantastic. The quoted price was ~$300 for the cleaning. I said fine, since they have a satisfaction guarantee. I got a confirmation email at 9:27am. So around 1:50pm we are waiting around at the house, we had cut out this time of our day for the cleaning. 2:10pm comes around and no sign of them. So I have them a call. Then I was "enlightened." They said: "Oh sir, the way we make appointments is that the cleaning team will be there within an hour after the appointment time. So any time between 2-3pm." Me: "This was never explained to me. I have read the email and nothing was explained." Them: "Oh it's in your email." Me: "Never got another email." Them: "Oh it's because you booked same day. They will be there around 3pm" So then 3:15pm rolls by. And I give another call. Them: "Sorry sir the reason they are late is because you did same booking and they had another house to clean." At this point I was quite upset. And here is the point. If you as a manager make an agreement with me and say I can send a cleaning crew by 2pm, then you are obligated to do so. You're not doing me a favor. If you say you can't do it, then I would try to rebook for another day. If you don't keep your end of the deal, don't make excuses; just accommodate the customer. This is the best part though. After I told him that he wasted an hour and a half of my day, because he never sent me an email about this 1 hour policy, to "accommodate" me he asked if I would like to rebook for another day. What? So now I've been waiting for an hour and a half, and he asks me to rebook, so then it's a total waste of time. I said no. Give me a discount. And he said I can give you 10%. That doesn't even cover the tax. Terrible customer service and total lack of skill in remedying a mistake.

As of writing this, Aspen has a 4.7 rating on Google but deserves that missing 0.3 stars. Their customer service team is so responsive, friendly and helpful. Any time I need to change a booking or book an additional cleaning, they are quick to accommodate. The team also does a great job cleaning for a fair price. I always love coming home after they've visited.

I was absolutely blown away by the clean that I got from Team 5 on my place. I brought them in to do a thorough clean of my place before putting it on the market. I was skeptical that they would be able to do everything they had quoted in 2.5 hours but they got everything I had asked for, and a bunch of things that I didn't even think to ask. I swear walking into my kitchen I saw little cartoon sparkles complete with sound effects. *ting ting* The ladies were really lovely and pleasant, and oh man did they work hard. They were working constantly. After the clean that I got, I am considering bringing them in yearly to help keep my place clean. --== Update ==-- I just thought I would mention, the realtor came by to take photos of my place today, and he thought that we had completely re-painted the kitchen cabinets they were so clean.

I got the spring cleaning package and was seriously blown away as to all that they cleaned! The crevices on the coffee table and side tables were clean! They cleaned our blinds, windows, walls and baseboards. Even the floors, bathrooms and balcony! Our apartment looks so good! We had our house clean today by Aspen clean was a big mistake we should have had it done by another cleaner Anthony was great to talk to on the phone and the three ladies that came to the house where Pleasant but the quality of clean I think needs much improvement I got the move in move out cleaning done just to mention a few things the entry coming into the house there is still a huge amount of fingerprints the spot clean I think it just did not happen whatsoever probably going to take me an hour of my own time just to clean the rest by myself very sad I will definitely not be giving them a recommendation to anyone

Thieves. One of their cleaning staff stole my engagement ring. Something that sure was worth more than $5000 (we're talking 10 years of jail time!) but also has an incredible amount of sentimental value and is irreplaceable, mostly because there is no way we can afford that ring again! (single income // new parents here!) I have been back and forth with a manager there who has been less than helpful, and simply because no one on the team had done something like this before he insisted they MUST be innocent and has taken zero responsibility. Their cleaners are bonded and insured, but what good is that going to do when they steal something and the company they work for refuses to provide the insurance information?! Also, the manager never called to talk in person, solely relied on e-mail though I tried and tried again to have him speak with me on the phone. Basically dodged any chance of confrontation. Aside from that, in all honesty, my apartment was always spotless, so that, they still have going for them. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I would give 0 stars if I could - I am extremely disappointed with this company, particularly after reading so many great reviews. My fiancé and I just purchased a home, and it needed to be cleaned before we moved in. After coming to the house to see after my fiancé told me it was done, I didn't believe him. It looked like no one has touched it. Insides of cabinets still had crumbs, my window sills still had dead bugs and dust on them. The bathroom was disgusting - no one had bothered to wipe down the front of any cabinets, or the top of the cabinet above the toilet (it was filthy - I ran my finger along it and it was covered in sticky gross dust). You're telling me this is the standard for a professional cleaning company? My fiancé told me they were there for just over an hour - which shocked me. The kitchen should have taken them an hour alone to do a thorough clean. I spent 6 hours cleaning a small apartment when we moved out - this is a 3 bed, 2 bathroom house! My fiancé mentioned to me he also had to remind the cleaners about things, like the window sills - but as previously stated they clearly didn't do them regardless of being asked to. I don't know what these women did, go into a room, close the door behind them, and stand there and text or stare at their fingernails for a few minutes, then leave claiming it had been cleaned? Seriously disappointed in this awful company and would never recommend to anyone. Now I'll be cleaning this house myself, despite our attempt at having "professional" cleaners do it.

I use both the AspenClean kitchen cleaner and dish soap in my home which I purchased in whole foods and I find them both fantastic. Not only is the scent not absolutely overpowering but they are 100% natural and 100% more effective than anything else I've used so far. I would also recommend picking up the microfiber cloth, it works wonders on my stove top and doesn't leave a scratch!!

My family has been using AspenClean for about two years now, and I couldn't be happier. I love the emails letting me know arrival times, and the teams are always friendly. The products are great, my house doesn't smell chemically or have any residue from the cleaning agents. And my stainless isn't streaky (an issue I've had in the past with green cleaning products). They also bring their own vacuum which is a plus (I have had issues with previous housekeepers damaging my vacuum). I've even lost an earring on the floor and called to let them know to watch out for it and they found it and put it out for me. Honestly, they're great, I totally recommend them.

I would like to update my review (see orignal below). I was finally refunded 100$ from Aspen, and they also asked me to delete my review. I was going to update it and say that I was refunded and would maybe recommend them in a regular situation, just beware of the customer service. However now that I have seen the reply from the owner, I would like to say I give them no stars (but have to to post) and would caution anyone from hiring them. The owner lies in their response to my first review (which may be edited after they see this) and says that we refused the extra time- we did not. They could not get ahold of us right away and so they left the house. They were there for 2 hours and stayed an extra 15 minutes. Based on what an Aspen employee quoted us, a one time clean for 2 floors is 399$. We were billed 553.00$. In the estimate we requested a fridge and blind cleaning which was not done, not to mention the other two bathrooms in the house and the kitchen. We asked that they either adjust our invoice to reflect the work that was done or to send a team back to finish the job. Neither of these requests seemed unreasonable. Instead, we had to call multiple times, email back and forth and then the owner tried to throw me under the bus instead of acknowledging the situation. So I’m sure this company does clean well enough, but I will definitely not recommend this company now. Be aware that there is no reliable customer service and no customer relations whatsoever if there is any kind of problem. They will not be receptive to any kind of feedback other than a perfect review. As well, it seems that my dissatisfaction is not misdirected but instead proven even more. We booked Aspen clean for my parents to get their house ready for company. The estimate was for over 500$ and the service was not completed! This was communicated to us and the crew did their best, however it was difficult to get the price adjusted from Aspen clean to reflect what was actually done. They also refused to at least come back and complete the service. My parents ended up having to finish cleaning the house in a last minute rush. I had to call three times and my parents both had to call in order to get a partial refund. For a company that was chosen for its good reviews and seemingly good service, we were very dissatisfied and disappointed.

My experience with AspenClean was not good ! I found it online and checked the reviews and I thought it was the best!!!! I asked for movie out cleaning and also I mentioned it is a furnished apartment, they sent me the quotation for 3 hours cleaning with a group of 4 peoples!!! For one bedroom apartment in downtown!!!!!! They were nice cleaners but they knew a little English and they didn’t understand what I asked them . They refused to clean my balcony (wich I chosen balcony cleaning on online formes and already paid)because I was messed with pigeons popping! And I asked the head office to asked the cleaners to clean it and head office replied me because of health issues and chemical matters we can’t do anything!!!! And the landlord took $500 through my damages deposit and also I paid $360 to AspenClean . It was a very bad and pricey experience. Not recommended to any one.

They do an OK-job with the cleaning (not excellent, especially given the price), but we've had several scheduling "mix ups" which is very annoying, given that we have a one-year-old who needs to be fed, take naps, etc. It is also annoying that we have a new cleaning crew every time, so we have to repeat the same things to them over and over again. There seems to be a severe lack of communication going on in their offices. We'll be using another service from now on, preferably one that can send the same crew at the same time every time so there can be some consistency.

Team #2 (Luiza, Michal, Elli) was awesome! My home was super dusty and messy, and I had random boxes and clothes lying about. The team had no trouble working around it and getting into the corners to make sure that it was as clean as possible. My kitchen, bathroom and floors are all sparkly clean. Baseboards had no dust and even all the dust on the doors were wiped. The natural cleaning products they used left my home smelling clean and fresh, without toxic chemical smells. All the cleaners were courteous, friendly and polite and would ask if there was anything we wanted them to clean more of when we inspected the place. We had none because they did such a great job. This was my first time using a home cleaning service and I'm super impressed. My quality of life has improved since hiring AspenClean. AspenClean works in teams. Sometimes I'm home so have met my team and know that they are friendly and kind. The three person team assigned to our house shows up with their own branded natural non-toxic cleaning products, vacuums, clothes, etc. The vacuum, dust, tidy, mop, wipe, scrub, etc like crazy people for less than an hour! They seem to pay attention to details I never would (window sills, weird coffee table stains, etc). Whether I'm home or not, my place is impressively clean afterwards. I had a deep clean of my house last week and could not be happier. Everything sparkles. Booking Aspen Clean was quick, easy, and the results were amazing. I will definitely use Aspen Clean again. UPDATE: I now have AspenClean come every 3 weeks to clean my home and it is so wonderful. The house sparkles, and the little touches are special (e.g. blankets and pillows nicely arranged). Great products, HORRIBLE service, even worse client care. READ FULL REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING. To keep it short, only 50-60% of the time do things get properly cleaned (past 2 years on and off). They always put fault on the customers rather than their own teams/administration. Seem to only ever show up too early, past the scheduled time, or not at all. A team of 3 will barely clean our small 2 bed apartment, then the company will only offer a 15min "redo" (for services we pay over $600intial/$300biweekly) that make zero difference. No money back, no full redo of cleaning and they will be rude to you for having to find time in their schedule to come back. This is typical for them. Here are *a few* images (theres over 70) from our "initial -$600- clean" which includes baseboards, deep clean, etc. two days ago (once again, small 2 bed apartment, with one room they didn't even have to clean as it is just storage). Originally booked two weeks ago but they never showed up. Were rude to rebook and argued we never booked the prior clean until we read them the email we received. Cleaning team were rude and standoffish because they arrived 20min early and we kindly asked them to wait as we were still getting ready to leave. I'd just redo it all myself at this point, however we were in a car accident the other week and physically can't. I only ever write reviews if the service is atrocious and believe me 60% of the time it is.

It is so nice to find a green company that is truly green! They list all their ingredients on the labels, which makes me feel safe when using the product. The packaging is also recycled materials. I love the kitchen cleaner, it foams up and smells amazing. The glass cleaner gets salt stains off my windows that are left by living close to the water and nothing else seems to work. And the dishsoap - is the most delicious soap I have ever used and as someone that hates doing dishes, it makes it not so bad. Ordering online is easy too!

Love Love these products. My senior Yorkie was getting sick almost once a week. We had no idea what was the cause was, until we realized it happened the day after our house was cleaned. Of course like most dogs our little guy often licked the floor for food droppings. It wasn't the food that was making him sick, but the cleaning solution on the floor. I booked a one time cleaning of the whole house and received an appointment confirmation quickly. I tried to call the company the day before our appointment to provide additional details, but no one returned my call. A little miffed, I sent an email to provide further instructions and they were very quick to respond the next day. After that initial hiccup, they were wonderful with communication. Team 14 did an amazing job. I'm extremely picky, and I'm very pleased with the deep clean of the kitchen shelves. My gas stovetop is now spotless and works much more efficiently. I appreciate that they bill in 5 minute increments. Hourly rate is comparable to other professional cleaning services. Would recommend.

We hired Aspen Clean to do a "move-in clean". They came in on Tuesday and spent 3 hours in my empty, unfurnished, apartment and all they seemed to have cleaned was the inside of the oven. Half of the services offered in the move-in clean were not completed. The baseboards were not washed, the cupboards were not cleaned, the windowstills were not cleaned. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. They even said they did not clean the bathroom because there's a couple of stairs between the bathroom and the rest of the apartment. I contacted the company and they offered to come do a free re-do of the clean. We agreed, and they came back on Wednesday and only spent 45 minutes cleaning. This time they at least cleaned the windowstills, but the baseboards and cupboards are still mostly untouched. The place does not look like it has been professionally cleaned. (The photos attached were after their "re-do"). They claim that everything they missed is permanent damage, but I am able to remove a significant portion of this "permanent damage" by simply rubbing my finger over it. Sure there is damage to the paint in some areas, but most of the dirt is just that, dirt. I wish I could upload the videos of me wiping away the baseboard dirt with my hands. I simply cannot fathom that this is a professional cleaning company. I could've done a better job by myself. They won't even offer a partial refund - I just wasted $600 to have to clean my apartment myself. They did offer 1 hour for free the next time we hire Aspen, but as I'm sure they know, we will not be hiring them again. Merry Christmas, I'm glad I get to spend my holidays cleaning our new place in preparation to move in.

One time I forgot to leave the key to our house in the lock box and they came back after we got home from vacation. They didn't even charge us for what was essentially 100% my fault. The service was NOT GREAT for what I paid. - To start, they were over an hour late. - I was told 3pm and they arrived around 4:15. - They did not clean my base boards at all (still have dust everywhere). - The girl that cleaned my master bathroom did a poor job and I am not pleased at all. I actually had to go back and re-clean. - The same girl cleaned the master bedroom - Still dust on the floor, night table, and bed headboard. - I was also told when I booked the appointment that they would clean marks on my wall (not a single mark was removed). - Not all the garbage was taken with them - They also did not clean under some of the furniture (found dust balls). - The laundry area was not touched at all (something I cleaned after they left). - Only positive note, the girl that cleaned my kitchen (Marianna) was amazing - she was very thorough. I absolutely advise against using their services at the price point they charge and would appreciate a representative call me back as I would like some form of a refund.

i have to my experience with Aspen Clean has been horrible. First let me say the first clean was amazing , the rest of the cleaning we terrible. they rushed throughout my home missing things and not properly washing the floors. when i contacted the management they just kept telling me that the girls have a specific time to clean my house . I told them i don't care about the time i care about the quality of the cleaning , why should i have to pay for a clean that is done poorly ,they told me that i would need more time to clean the house ,They came into my home for 2 hours all they needed do was dust, wash floors on the main floor and upstairs ,clean the 3.5 bathrooms and vacuum , you would think 3 people could do that in 2 hours . but they can't .

I received a gift certificate for $150, so I booked them for a 3 hour clean. They cleaned two bathrooms and vacuumed. Nothing else, not even counters wiped down - they didn't even mop the floors (we have all hardwood). My regular cleaner charges half that and would have had the place spotless in that amount of time. Not impressed. The bathrooms are nice and clean, that's great, but it shouldn't take an hour to clean a bathroom. It's not as if they were disgusting, I wipe them down pretty regularly.

I tried your bathroom cleaner on my steam shower tiles and it worked amazing! It has been difficult ot find a cleaner that works this great and is safe for my septic system. My shower tiles are black with black grout and have a decorative silver tile boarder and they haven't been this shininy since they were installed. Other environmenally friendly products did not work, were far more expensive and left behind hard water stains, your bathroom cleaner cleaned what they left behind! I also feel good about using it as the shower stall is confined and I end up breathing in what I use so I feel it is a healthy choice. I also have to mention the spray bottle of your cleaner is fabulous - no more drippy nozzles! Thank you for making this task so much easier for me!

Not happy with Aspen Clean at all. It ended up costing $125 more than what was originally quoted and the quality of service was very poor. After speaking with Aspen Clean about my concerns it seemed as if my concerns of the poor cleaning were not warranted as I was met with some real attitude. And the cost, "Well Stuff Happens". I expected much more from a service with this rating, and will definitely not be using them again or recommending them to my friends. I have found another cleaning service to clean our house that is much more deserving of 4 to 5 star rating. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS COMMENTS OF THE ABOVE REVIEW: Firstly by saying that you do not charge more than your quotes, unless you obtain approval by your clients first is a JOKE! You quote the price on the phone and then when your cleaners are running out of time I get told that for them to complete the job it will cost me an extra $125. So yes, for me to get the job done that you were hired to do, I am going to have to agree to pay an extra $125. Take it or leave it! So you are right and I will have to approve the additional charges if I want the job done meaning your quote that was given to me originally means absolutely nothing. A very poor quoting system in my opinion, especially considering the extra time and money was not even mentioned until the original time was almost up. Secondly, after speaking with the cleaners about some of the cleaning that was not done very well, the attitude alone was enough for me to decide I would just deal with it on my own and be done with my experience with Aspen Clean.

We've been using AspenClean for several years now and have recommended them to all of our friends. We found them online when we first moved to Vancouver and have stuck with them ever since. We love that: - They bring their own equipment and cleaning supplies, so we don't have to keep things stocked up. And they use environmentally safe, non-toxic products which smell amazing - great for people like me with chemical sensitivities. - It's a different team of people every week, which keeps things fresh - but they have detailed instructions so you get a consistent clean every week. - They send a team! So instead of one person cleaning for three hours, you get three people cleaning for one hour - great for us, since we work from home and can't always take three hours away from the office. - If and when anything goes awry, customer service is very quick to respond. We love coming home to our clean clean house every couple of weeks. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed with the service provided by Aspen. Following my initial clean- $200 for a 2 bedroom condo- there were some major deficiencies. Basic things like counters not being wiped in the kitchen and window sills not being dusted. When I called they were happy to reschedule a clean to fix the issues. When they returned the following week, I was called because they had no way to get in to the house without my being home (despite having provided them with a key the previous week). They eventually sorted out the key issue and completed the clean. I came home to find the kitchen counters still not wiped down. The substandard work and lack of attention to detail prompted me to terminate what would have been a monthly service after one clean.

Team #1 was fast, efficient, and friendly! Upon closer inspection though it looks like they missed a few details (baseboards, corners etc.) not a huge deal though, will book them again but make note of it for next time. Overall pretty happy though.

On the subject of your cleaning products. I just have to mention how impressed I am with the powder cleanser and window cleaner! The property that we live in now I just purchased five years ago. Included with the property, of course, were the typical kitchen appliances, one though in which I was not experienced in dealing with was a stove with the ceramic glass top. Albeit a nice good quality stove, it has been a major source of frustration. I have always struggled with cleaning this stove top and maintaining a shine. There are so many cleaners out there that cannot be used on this stove top! I have purchased and tried quite a number of so called specialty glass/ceramic cleaners but there was always some issue with each one of them. This morning I tried your powder cleanser followed by the glass cleaner. WOW!! I have NEVER seen this stove top so clean and shiny. It was so easy too! Very impressed. I appreciate the efforts you put into creating a group of clean 'cleaning products'! Lovely, soft aromas, and the cloths are not like the usual micro fiber cloths. When I tried your glass cleaner on the windows with the dedicated color coded cloth I was pleasantly surprised. No streaking! No lint left behind by the cloth. No drag as you wipe the glass surface with the cloth and it was quick. The solution, as with all the other spray products, do not spray on heavy but nice and light which results in less runoff, less mess and a quicker clean. Keep up the great work! You are providing a product with integrity, quality and is healthier not only for us as individuals but also for our environment.

The place generally looked clean but not much cleaner than I left it. Floors were not vacuumed (gross) so I don't even know if they were washed. They did not clean out the fridge since there were obviously rotten things still in there. They did do a good job of getting fingerprints off of wood (difficult job), but for three people and $270 this is a total ripoff. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

I had ordered a post construction clean on my new build home. There was lots of dust on all the shelves, floors and in the two closets with built ins. I had pointed this out to the crew when they arrived as this home has a lot of built ins. The crew was on time, professional, and courteous, however, the cleaning was not up to standard for what I paid which was $1500. There was a layer of dust left in most drawers and cabinets, sawdust on some shelves in my built in closets, the floor was relatively clean, and I had to re-direct them to clean one more toilet more thoroughly while I was there checking in. Overall, it was disappointing. They did offer to send a crew to re-clean those areas, but it was simply more convenient for me to dust them myself then to have them come in.

AspenClean did a horrible job cleaning my home in Calgary. I purchased a move in/move out clean to avoid the stress of cleaning when moving into a new place. Instead of alleviating stress they added to it. I checked on the place after it was cleaned initially and there was white product all over the kitchen counter tops, I could see the dust on my track lights and pot rack, multiple drawers looked like they hadn't been touched! The baseboards all throughout the house were still covered in dust, the bathroom floor had clumps of hair, and the tops of all cabinets throughout the house were covered in dust. So much of the house was untouched, i could see the dust and easily pick it up by swiping my finger across. I called to complain and the cleaners came a second time. I pointed out the numerous issues I had and asked that the house be cleaned in full again. Three cleaners arrived and told me they only had 30 mins booked for the job but would ask if they could have more time. They assured me they would clean it better and admitted that it was poorly done the first time. After the second clean there was still dust coating the tops of all the counters, harder to reach drawers i.e. above the fridge remained uncleaned, the baseboards were still dusty as well as the fan in the master bedroom. Horrible. I could understand dust left behind furniture or cabinets but was disgusted to see it out in the open. My girlfriend and I were hoping for a less stressful move in, and had to spend 2 hours cleaning the bathroom alone. We haven't been able to unpack for a couple days because we want to clean first!! We called the manager and complained again and asked for a refund which he refused because he claimed he had to pay his cleaners and said they had spent 10 hours in the house already. He had to be either lying or joking. Horrible customer service. They offered to come back again but by this time we just want to move in and have had to take time off work to clean the place ourselves. All in all, I was extremely disappointed in the service. I've never used a cleaning service before and AspenClean was recommended but I would not use them again and I will never recommend them to anyone I know. In fact I'd encourage people to spend their money elsewhere.

After my initial cleaning, I contacted customer service because I had some concerns. An entire bedroom was not cleaned, wet clothes were removed from the dryer and balled up in a corner of a shelf, my toddler's toys were crammed without regard for the structure of the toys into a cubby, the walls and windows weren't washed, the furniture had not been vacuumed, one toilet had not been cleaned, a bathroom floor hadn't been washed, items were relocated into other rooms, and the bedside tables had been rummaged through.... After several emails, the customer service rep had not even acknowledged many of my concerns, but asked me to take pictures of what had not been done to show the cleaning team so they could make it right. I did that and booked a re-clean. I was told that staff came out to clean, but none of the deficiencies was addressed. I couldn't tell anyone had come by. I asked to have a refund for the rooms that weren't cleaned because i had booked a cleaning for three bedrooms and three bathrooms. After many emails I had accepted that they were and will be not concerned about how my stuff was treated, and the 100% satisfaction guarantee doesn't mean the customer's satisfaction. I was offered 10% off my next cleaning.... There will not be a next time. The two stars is because some of the work was very nicely done.

Edit: COO & Co-Owner Chris Solodko was in contact. He was apologetic and took the time to listen. After the call, he sent out an E-mail regarding the conversation and offered a 50% refund. At least he is willing to try to solve the conflict and make it right. I feel that a 50% refund is fair; after all, someone did show up and performed some sort of cleaning. I hope the owners see this. If I can give them zero stars I will. Once they have taken your money, good luck. They have no respect for people’s time and the attitude they give you is incredible. I work in Asia right now and I have to get up early or stay up late at night to try to call. I have tried to talk to them for 2 and a half week and I ended up getting an email from the operating manager Niall Humphreys giving me a 1 liner asking if I’d book another appointment. 1) It was really frustrating that the original appointment was not even scheduled properly even though I received an email confirmation of the arriving window around 11am. I had to fly out that night, so I called, and they did eventually got someone to come in at 4:20pm 2) signed up for the extra service for sheets washing, but because there was no instructions for the sheets, I didn’t know I was supposed to do anything for it, so when I asked the ladies when I did the walk around afterward, one of them told me nothing was done for the sheets because I didn’t leave them out or something. So this item shouldn’t be charged then if it wasn’t even done 3) I’m not satisfied with the quality of the cleaning. I really didn’t have time to do a detail walk around but when I ran my hands on the bathroom counters, my fingers were full of dust and everything else. When I asked the ladies if they have clean the bathroom countertop, and move the few items on there to clean the surfaces, they said yes. I said they are still dirty, and one of the ladies said it was the silicon stuck on the counters, there was nothing more she can do. But it was quite obvious that the countertops need some work when there was hair and dust that I can see, and collect when I ran my hands on them, and a dried out contact lens that I left there was still there. I brought them up to the bathrooms and ran my hands on the surface, pointed out the areas, and they got the spray and wiped the counters again. The girl who told me there’s nothing more she can do has such a vile attitude. I was flying out of the country and I really won’t have a chance for someone to redo the job. I was quoted the cleaning will be 2 hours and 20 mins and then because the cleaning wasn’t scheduled properly, and you have arranged someone to come in after 4, but for 2 hours. I’m not sure how you estimated the time, but if things are not done properly, or done at all within the time you have quoted me as a paying customer, this is unacceptable. The cherry on top was finally after 2 and half week I finally got an E-mail from the operating manager Niall Humphreys saying “Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. Did you want to book another cleaning with us? Just let me know and I can arrange.” I called him and said it wouldn’t be an option to book another appointment because I’m out of town for work for months, and at this point after the delay and attitude from various people, I just want a refund. He said that’s not something he can do, thanks for your feedback sorry to bother you, and he put his phone down. There was no more respond on the other end of the line no matter how many “hello? Are you still on the phone?” I have said. An operating manager with attitude like this, I hate to say it, that tells you how well they’d ever treat the customers. What got me is their poor attitude, the incapability of complaint handling and resolution, and lack of desire to resolve conflicts. Clearly the company lacks a good complaint handling mechanism with individuals who has the complaint handling and resolution capability. Once they get your money that’s it, you are nothing. Everyone please do yourself a favour and stay away from this cleaning service.

I recently bought a house where the previous owner uses Aspen to do a Move Out cleaning. Since I saw they did a great job "before" and "after" the closing of the house, I decided to hire them for my "Post Construction" cleaning. My house is full of dust after the renovation. I requested a POST Construction service with a MUST CLEAN of the window blinds in exchange for the time they can save on cleaning any Appliances as there are no Appliance in the property. I received a quote of 7.5 hours (3ppl) for $1,125 + HST. It is a very very expensive service which I expect a high level and Professional service to be done. At 2pm of the day of the service with 2/3 of the time had passed, I received a call saying that they will need an additional 2-3 hours the next day (with charge) to complete the job as there are a lot of dust in my house. Then they told me that the Kitchen and Blinds are not done yet. I was so shock and can't believe what they have done during the start of the time from 8:20-2pm x 3ppl. Why am i paying for an so expensive service and eventually the major kitchen and the blinds are not done. As a professional company, why they don't walk and evaluate the level of "dirt" prior to start of the time and knowing that they can't complete the job in 24 HOURS (8 hours x 3ppl). It is extremely unbelieveable that my house is only 3000 sq feet and it takes more then 24 hours to clean. See the photos... this is on the main floor entrance and the floor and stairs aren't even wipe at ALL. They said they will need an additional 1 hours x 3pp, (3 hours charge) the next day to finish it and in fact I wipe it myself in 1 hour x 1 ppl? Why am i paying $150 / hour to do a service where I can do it myself? This job is more likely to cost under $900 rather then now my bill is more than $1,200+. If you decided to go with Aspen, make sure you are on SITE to monitor them as well as remind and remind them what has to be done. I have the MUST item listed on my email request but still got over looked by ASPEN. Update: After a few email exchange to express my concern, ASPEN has agreed to make a compensation to refund an hour worth of time for this work order. Although they did not do what I am expecting them to get done, their customer service and their willingless to solve this issue is so far the best.

I was in dire need to have my apartment cleaned before I moved out to get my deposit back, and I did not have the time to do it. Called AspenClean and they gave me an appointment within one day and I was so grateful. A four person team came out and they were friendly and efficient. When I was doing my move out inspection, the Manager of the building said that AspenClean was a 'partner' with the management company and they knew what specifically needed to be done, but that wasn't the case. Do not hire this company for cleaning. The are appalling. They do not clean at all just flit around looking busy. I gave specific instructions as to what I required cleaned, they did not clean anything. Just vacumed, which was the one thing I did not want them to do.The cleaners do not speak english. The office staff do not listen and find it difficult to operate the computer system including when you send photos showing them where they have not cleaned. This company does not deserve to be in business.

I have been using Aspen Clean products for more than 6 years I love all their products because of the smell of fruits make me relax, they also don’t damage my hand and my skin :). I really love the combination with the kitchen cleaner and the super scrub powder both do miracle remove all the greasy when I clean my kitchen. Wow - what a great cleaning service. I've been using this service for over three years for cleaning every 3-4 weeks, and they consistently impress me with their attention to detail. I've used them for two move-out cleans and that's an area of special excellence for Aspen Clean. But in my monthly service: baseboards, lightswitches and corners are always left perfectly clean, every surface is shiny, polished and beautiful. Today was especially amazing since my heat and water stopped working, but they were still able miraculously to bring this place back into an *institutionally clean* state that would satisfy even my mother, who worked in radiology and is obsessed with organization and cleanliness. Magazines and books: stacked and at right angles. Wonky-stone-flooring: perfectly mopped. Even our dog's zone is always perfectly clean. Shout out to Team #2.

Team 1 (Sabrina & Carla) did a fantastic job for us! They were incredibly thorough and detailed, which was important for Type As like myself and my husband. I was hanging around at home when they were cleaning, and I noticed one of these lovely ladies taking my kids' toys off the toy shelf to clean the dust off. As parents to young children, there was quite a bit of toys, and I certainly did not expect them to be that thorough. It was greatly appreciated. We have used Merry Maids and Mona Cleaning in the past. The use of natural products was also important to us. Yes, Aspen is more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. We'd rather pay more for quality work that we're happy with, than pay less for a mediocre job that we grumble about afterwards.

I cannot say enough about the AspenClean products! I have officially switched all my household cleaners, laundry and dish soaps over to AspenClean. They work so much better than the conventional products I used to use. The dishwasher pods are incredible. It's hard to pick a favourite but I am in love with the Oxygen Bleach stain remover. I have 3 kids and this not only takes out the stains but the clothes come out cleaner than they ever have before. I also love that they are EWG verified. I highly recommend all of their cleaning products.

They came in as a team of three and they took the time to introduce themselves before beginning which was nice. We did not feel like we had strangers in the home. Me and my girlfriend, a young couple, acquired the main floor of a home to rent and live in. This home however was left in an unfortunate state due to some hoarding and about a decade of neglect. We worked for several months to get out all of the old furniture, garbage, and pest remains. Finally we cleaned as much as we could, but didn’t have the time or materials and needed a professional service to get the home to a manageable state. We called AspenClean where the booking representative was extremely professional and courteous, and booked us an appointment less than a week later. The team showed up during the time window that was given to us, and did an incredible job on the house. They got the tile floors clean and sparkling new, the bathroom immaculate, the bedroom clean and fresh, removing scores of dust and debris from the home throughout. It was a very daunting job for us and we were amazed at the amount the team was able to complete in an approximately 3 hour window. They even fixed up the little metal grill on the bottom of the fridge that was falling off after they finished cleaning it! We are incredibly grateful to AspenClean for getting a new couple set up in a home to be proud of, especially during these unique times. Today I had AspenClean come in to do a clean in Okotoks...on setting up the appointment I explained to them that this home we had just purchased was very dirty and layed out what I was looking for and what my expectations were. I was very honest in saying that this house is dirty and I didn't need someone to come in and dust, it needed a good cleaning! They assured me that their team could handle the job! So I booked them...well this day has turned out to be a very stressful and disappointing day. I left them to do their job and left with my nine year old Grand-daughter...This house is completely empty there are no appliances, no baseboards, no furniture, not even toilets to clean. When my Grand-Daughter and I returned, their vehicle was not there...the door was unlocked their vacuum and most of their cleaning supplies were sitting at the front entrance still and no one was around, huh! So I waited for the three of them to return and when they came in the door I asked where they were. The lady in charge and one of the other girls working with her got very defensive and said that people do have to go to the bathroom and there aren't any toilets in the house, I responded that I get that but all three of you had to go, and you left my house with the door unlocked? Yes, the house had no furniture etc. but our garage was full of stuff. So the woman in charge says nastily to me that people have to go to the washroom and yes they all had to go because it would be wasting gas for them to go one at a time...well the house is, with traffic, maybe 3 min and I'm being generous, to the nearest convenience store, fast food resteraunt etc. I would have paid the extra 5 cents for the gas it would have cost. I wonder who would have paid for it if the house had been vandalized or our things stolen from the garage. Then the other young girl who is now at the kitchen sink looks over her shoulder and says to me "did you want me to take a s--t in your sink??" I told her there was no reason to use that kind of language. My nine year old Grand-Daughter at this point got very upset and asked me for the keys to the vehicle and fled before I could comfort her at all...so I said thanks for doing that to my Grand-Daughter. Looking around the house, they had barely touched a thing. Nothing looked clean, the house still smelled as it did prior to them arriving, and upon asking what they had done the 2.5 hrs we were gone, they once again were extremely defensive and rude. Obviously I shouldn't have left them alone and should have watched everything they did, because they definitely didn't do much while we were away. I called the company twice and told them to send a manager out to see the house, no one would come, and of course, it's one excuse after the next. They told me they'll send a new crew, but I want nothing to do with them. I don't mind paying for a job well done, but this was anything but that. I could go on and on about the ordeal this turned out to be. This company should be ashamed of its employees and the poor quality of their work, not to mention their disgusting attitudes and mouths when dealing with clients.

I was advised to use Aspen Clean to prepare a condominium for new renters. I was relatively pleased with the results, but did have to direct the cleaners to some obvious areas which needed attention. HOWEVER, please be aware that I will not and can not recommend them since one of their cleaners stole a family member's engagement ring just over a month ago while cleaning at another location. The family member had left a key at the West Van office for their place in Vancouver. The theft therefore occurred while the cleaners had the run of the place. Police reports have been filed but the company is not forth coming with information which can move the case forward. This is an extremely concerning situation and as such, I would caution others not to use the company's services.

HOME THEFT BEWARE, PLEASE READ This is the kind of company that ASPEN CLEAN is. They do not stand by their customers and please think twice before you assume that fully bonded and insured includes theft of anything inside your home unless you have cameras to prove it! We’ve been with Aspen clean for four years. We had a jewelry theft in our home after a cleaning service (valued at $2500.) After filing a report both with the company and with the RCMP, we were promised by the manager at Aspen that they would make this right. Fast forward three months later and I receive an email stating that because none of their employees stepped forward to claim the theft, there was nothing more that they could do for me. The majority of people have very few strangers coming in and out of their bedroom and since the cleaners are the only ones outside my husband and myself who have access to our bedroom, the probability is pretty high that someone on the team was responsible. I’m writing this review to warn all the other customers out there to be cautious and to be warned that Aspen’s policy is you need to have picture proof or a concession.

This would have been a 5 Star review had it not been for a couple misses. First, the team did not show up with a step stool so anything above shoulder height did not get cleaned. I paid the additional fee to have the interior windows cleaned so only the bottom portion of all actually got done. The top of the hood fan was also still dusty and greasy, I had to clean that, the upper cabinets above the stove, and the top of the fridge the next day. The second miss was that someone had dropped a vinyl cleaning glove in our garbage disposal which I didn't notice until after running it a few times over the weekend. Aside from those two issues, Team 7 did a great job through the rest of the house. They were friendly, professional and efficient. If Aspen Clean equipped their teams with stools and they could clean thoroughly I might consider getting them again.

It truly has been refreshing to find such a professional and friendly staff. Amber, Juliana, & Cintia conducted the initial cleaning, on March 1st, and they were exceptional. The attention to detail was refreshing, as I am very particular regarding cleaning. They were extremely friendly and explained the entire process and about the natural products they use. Today, March 15, 2018, was my second experience with Aspen Clean and Amber's team. This time it was Amber, Juliana, and Jay. As the first time, they were professional, diligent, and best of all, extremely friendly. Again, their attention to detail is exceptional. I will definitely stick with Aspen Clean again, especially Amber's team, Team 4. Thank you for an excellent, professional, and friendly service!

This was our first time using AspenClean and Ramona, Livia and Michaela (Team 13) were incredible. We hired them for a one-time clean, but will definitely be calling to set up a routine cleaning. I have never seen our house so clean! (And it smells amazing!) We have hired various cleaning companies over the years, but these ladies were by far the best. The house was spotless, and they paid attention to all of the details, like the microwave and the baseboards, that many other companies overlook. It was a great price, and they were all very kind and hardworking. We will hire AspenClean again, especially if the same ladies are available. Thank you!

This is the poorest clean service and quality I’ve ever received. I was so regrettable that I hired Aspen for my moving in clean only based on google’s rating. Two people spent 8 hours in my house and lots of undos and dust left in the cabinets, closet and bathrooms I found after they left. They charged me over $1100 for such poor service and I have to redo lots of cleaning by myself again. Highly not recommend!

We had AspenClean come to do a clean up of our rental after moving out. Unfortunately our basement laundry room was missed, the window sills and kitchen floor still had dust, and the cupboards had stains. I needed to buy my own cleaning supplies to finish the job since we were already moved out of town. I was told that the house wasn’t in good condition, and for a 1970’s home they might be right, appliances are old and hard to make sparkle and I certainly don’t expect them to. Besides mess from moving, we keep a very clean house, and there should not be an excuse for visible dust bunnies on the floor when you pay good money for a cleaning. I was also told that the environmentally friendly products were not industriaI strength, but I was able to wipe spots with a wet rag just fine. I guess I just expected a thorough job from a professional company.
