The clean was fine, but not amazing. The price was high - $200 for three hours to clean a 2 bedroom main floor with no carpets. We paid extra for the "deep clean" feature ($50). For this I expected to see some WOW factor, and feel disappointed. The cleaner showed up with a company rep who drove her. The rep came in and discussed with my wife what would need to be done. We were caught off guard by this - I expected they would have a checklist for their cleaners and would either just run through it with us or ask if we had anything additional that we would like to have done and let us expand on that. I wanted someone to just come in, clean the whole top floor, do it deeply, and just leave me impressed. I didn't want to have to think about everything that needed cleaning. To this end, there are things I think would have been nice to have done (e.g. vacuum between the couch cushions) that weren't because we didn't explicitly ask for it. The rep then left the cleaner and came back later to pick her up when she was done. The Tidy Maids website goes on about their relationship with the cleaners. I don't know the norm in the industry - I thought this would be a Tidy Maids employee who would be coming to clean and who does this regularly. After our interaction I feel like it is more new immigrants and Tidy Maids acts as a booking service. This is fine, but just wasn't what I expected based on the Tidy Maids website. I will note that Tidy Maids has a 200% guarantee and I'm not following up with them under that. The place was clean. It was more effort on our part than I anticipated. We were fine with the results, but I wouldn't say we were WOWed. And I don't think it was great value for the cost.

I had hired this company to do a clean on my rental checkout. The tenant was not moved so they couldn't clean so ended up taking them to my house as it was already paid for. 2 cleaners, they started in the bathroom together. Walls were washed from shoulders down only. Still dirt in corners etc. Moved onto living room to do floors/walls/Windows. Windows were not washed either. For the price that is charged with a 2 person minimum ($80/hour with 2 of them) it should be sparkling. All of it was just ok. Smelled nice though

Very disappointed in the service we received from this company. First off I paid $200 for a "deep clean" of our house. I booked a specific day and time because it was our anniversary so I wanted my husband and I to come home to a clean house. After booking they wouldn't let me have the time I booked and tried to change it on us twice. The second time I gave up and just agreed as they told me they wanted to "make sure their best team was on it to give us great service". Fine. Come home and the house is ok for a cheap clean but not a $200 "deep" clean! Streaks on the mirrors and granite, the shower doors aren't clean at all, the backsplash hasn't even been wiped down (and I know this for sure as my husband had a baking "accident" prior to this and there was still icing on them). That does NOT sound like the extra $50 I paid for a deep clean. When I sent in my review they contacted me and offered a few dollars off the next clean with them if I wanted although their guarantee is that if you're not satisfied they will send someone to fix it. Why would I pay another $200 to get the stuff I had already asked to be clean, re-cleaned?! Save your money and go with a place that will actually do a good job!

I have had tidy house out for two cleans, the first one was fine, the second one they scratched the tiles in my new bathroom, and left tacks in my one year olds toys. When I phoned to discuss the tiles and tacks left by the staff and left a message no one called me back. The cleans were $425 and $495 each time and I came home to a dirty table among other things.
