I am usually not the type to leave a review, but my experience with green maid is beyond appalling. I used their service for a move out clean (2 cleaners for roughly 2 hours). At first I didn’t think much of it, should be an easy job, everything is cleared out so they can’t possibly break anything. Oh god was I wrong. One of the cleaning ladies managed to completely damage the glass stove. Note! The stove was previously damaged already; it was cracked even before I moved in but completely functional. But for some reason this cleaning lady thought it was a good idea to step on the cracked glass stove to clean the microwave that is out of reach. The crack became a dent and is now a possible fire/electrical hazard (from damaged to now completely unusable). The best part is that she took pictures of the cracked stove and sent it to her manager to notify him that the stove is already slightly damaged. In what world does she think using a cracked glass stove as a step ladder would be a good idea? If she is too short and cannot reach certain areas, as a professional she should bring a ladder. We paid her cash (WHICH WE SHOULDN’T HAVE), and her manager responded quickly to see the stove. When he came he also acknowledges that the stove is already cracked….then to my question again….why use it as a step ladder. He didn’t say much of it. Now on to the cleaning part, I wasn’t there to see how/what they cleaned because I was at work. But when I came back to see the result the only part that I was satisfied with is the bathroom, fridge and the microwave. Other than that….everything was very sub par. Floor was not mopped; kitchen counter was still a little greasy; the oven was a complete mess. I had to end up doing some deep cleaning myself for almost 2 hours. I wouldn’t mind if they stay longer as I am willing to pay, but for some reason the cleaners can only stay for 2 hours. Well I would understand if you tell me beforehand…But noooo… When they first came the cleaners told me it will only take 2 hours and everything should be good. I foolishly believed her, then about 1 hr and 30mins later I get another phone call saying how the place is much dirtier than they expected and would need more time…but they cannot stay beyond 2.5 hours. I was left speechless as this is beyond unprofessional. After dealing with the manager and his “Insurance” company for almost 2 months, he emails me saying that the insurance won’t cover the damage but from the kindness of his heart he will reimburse me 100 dollars. Now I am starting to think he doesn’t even have insurance at all and all this time he is just stalling and hope that I will give up. The stove cost me over 800 bucks to replace and he is only willing to cough up 100. Completely unacceptable. When I asked for a refund(160 dollars) instead, he was reluctant. Asking me why I am asking for a refund, the stove was already damaged and what not. All I can say is…after your service the stove needs replacement; clearly you need to take responsibility. As to the refund, the cleaning was subpar and you still made me lose over 800 dollars in security deposit. So yes I am dissatisfied why your service. I finally got my refund of 160 dollars after dealing with him for over 3 months. Ohh how I regret not trusting those yelp reviews. They have a solid 4 stars on google review which is definitely too high; which also makes me believe that a lot of them are fake reviews. I DO NOT recommend using their service. If anyone want to see images of the damaged stove or the email thread i will happily provide! UPDATE: After posting this review the manager emailed me calling me a hypocrite. Great customer service buddy! Update #2: You did not compensate for the broken stove, you provided a refund please make that very clear.

This service provider was timely, professional and helped us through a really stressful time. They showed up, boarded the house to secure in, which I hadn't even thought of. Then provided a clear, complete quote, coordinated with my insurance provider and took great care of us and our belongings. I hope none one else has to experience a fire but if you unfortunately do, call this company.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Green Maids Canada come clean our new home we were moving in to. The service was fast, friendly & efficient and they were able to remove the pet odours as promised. The cleaning provided was beyond our expectations, so we decided to use them to clean the place we were moving out of instead of doing it ourselves and thanks to them we were able to get our full deposit back. I had called them to do suite move out clean and carpet shampoo, They did lousy job there was a pillow and so much things under the bed they didn't remove or clean, their responds was " that they were not going to clean under the bed (because bed could break" ???? ???? the bed had metal frame on wheels, i have pics to prove it. They just cleaned the surface area and nothing else. Not happy with these guys.

I found out about Green Maids by chance when I visited my dentist. That day I arrived at my dentist, sat down in the waiting room as usual but noticed a wonderful scent in the air that I had not noticed previously. A few minutes later I saw two young cleaning ladies leaving my dentist office and with a big smile said bye to the receptionist. I quickly realized the reason my dentists waiting room was smelling so fresh. When the ladies left, I asked the receptionist who they were and told her she had to put me in contact with that company. The receptionist gave me their contact information. The next day I called Green Maids and their wonderful customer service team put me on a regular schedule and I haven’t looked back since. Every time they come, they exceed my expectations. They do not miss anything weather it’s moving the couches to clean what’s underneath to putting away my kids toys after wiping them down. Green Maids pays attention to the small things and is very thorough when cleaning. If you want your place not only looking clean but smelling fresh to match, I recommend you give Green Maids a try!

I have used Green Maids Canada 5 times for my move out cleanings. They have been operating for 18 years and they are just wonderful. I always ask for 2 people for 2 hours and they always go beyond my expectations. There is nothing bad I have to say about them. The only thing that I would recommend is to call them 45min - 30min before your appointment starts to make sure they will be on time since they have other appointments before you and sometimes unexpected things happen and they have to run late. I wont never hesitate about using Green Maids Canada again and again.

The cleaners damaged our new hardwood floors near our oven... Looked like some heavy duty oven cleaner spilled onto our floors. In terms of cleaning, the bathroom floors weren't cleaned, they didn't clean the kitchen sink until we pointed it out and overall they did a poor cleaning job. The damage to the floors is the really upsetting part so please beware.

Although this company is having a promotion whereby you get a discount if you share a google review about their company, that is not the reason for my review. I am sharing this because I am delighted with their level of service. My husband and I moved from Toronto in January and after trying numerous other cleaning companies here in Vancouver, we were about to give up, thinking we were not going to find a decent cleaning company here. However after using Green Maids Canada I have to say they are the best I have ever used. They were fast, attentive, they paid attention to every detail. They did things that I was not even expecting. They took all my kitchen utensils like my pans and put them away in such a way that it’s easy for me to find them when needed. They even cleaned the crumbs from the cutlery holder which I was not expecting them to do! My experience with Green Maids was wonderful!!!

I have just had a very upsetting encounter with Green Maids Canada. They accepted a cleaning job from me at $130 fixed price, thereby blocking other cleaners from bidding on the deal (through a 'cleaning service' bidding portal). In the small print, which I did not read until 2 days later, I find out that they accepted it but anticipate the bill to be $250. This is poor business tactics. They should have proposed a higher price first of all, and not accepted the business with an underhanded pricing structure.. Be up front Green Maids, not underhanded. I am not impressed.

This company seen to blame the Clients instead of focusing on the problem...I would never hire these people again. I told them on the phone that I have three bedroom 1 Bathroom, stairs etc. and the Guy on the phone said it will be $150.00 to do the job. Two girls came one experience and one did not know much much of anything. Which slowed down the work. They did very poor job of cleaning I mean poor job. In the end they said they have to go to another job and they collected extra $25.00 for staying a bit longer . Shame on you for not cleaning properly and shame on you for the deception.

This Company should not be called: Green Maids Canada, they should be called: DEEP CLEAN CANADA. We are a catering service and we recently hired them to help us with the cleaning of our greasy and extremely dirty kitchen. They were beyond our expectations. They adapted to our needs at all times and we are very happy with their services. We had to change the date twice due to reasons beyond our control and they adapted without a problem to the schedule and day. Everything was left very cleaned. They were 100% responsible and they are very good professionals. We were astonished at their high level of service. Finally a serious and responsible company. Their Office staff was attentive at all times and very friendly. professional and clean workers.They look after every detail and they are very hardworking. Thank you for your excellent service. Cleaning lady didn't wear mask and when requested to wear one, the response was "I'm double vaxx and don't need one" With the delta variant going up, I was shocked to hear that. When it was time to check out the unit after cleaning, had to point out the spots that were uncleaned to the point where I asked if it can be cleaned again. Also, I was quoted for 3-4 hours, but when there were still spots uncleaned, she told me I had to go, and that was only for 3 hours. Lastly, she requested me to give her the key so she can go freely in and out of the unit when I only have 1 set of the keys and need to get in and out of the building

Poor service. Would not recommend. I booked a carpet cleaning service for a move out, appointment was scheduled at 12 pm on June 30th in New Westminster. Around 12:30 pm that day, I called the company to ask what time they would arrive, since they seemed to be running late. They said their team was doing another job in Delta, and they couldn't give me an estimated time of arrival. I had the move out inspection at 4 pm. I had to pay from my deposit more money to get the carpet cleaned as an urgent job so the apartment could be clean for the next tenants. The worst part is that they could've called me earlier to tell me my service was delayed or cancelled, but if I have not contacted them myself, I probably would've just keep waiting. Do not book with this company unless you have a back up plan.

We used Green Maids Canada to clean our home and what a disappointment. First, they tried to sell me more time than the 2 hours we agreed on. The cleaners they sent were unprofessional and did not respect our home at all. They scratched the glass on our patio door. When we called Oliver(customer service/manager) to talk about the damage, it was like banging your head against a concrete wall. He seems focus on why I did not add more time to the cleaning and even made an allusion that the cleaners were in hurry to finish the cleaning, hence the damage to the door. What a logic! Please people if you love your home, avoid Green Maids Canada. At the beginning they will try to accommodate you ASAP but will try up-sell you on the service and to add insult to injury will leave you with thousand dollars worth of damage.

I would give them A for communication and follow up however the cleaning itself is horrible. I paid $320 for 4 hours but I ended up recleaning myself. I am a landlord and will definitely not use this service again or recommend it to anyone. Two young girls showed up, seemed like they were sisters. One girl practically watched the other girl clean. They finished the townhouse in 4 hours. I should say 1 girl finished in 4 hours so if the 2nd girl did something, I could have paid less. They were not professional workers and because they walked barefeet, their feet were black and they continued to walk all over my carpets with it. When they said they were done, I had to get them to reclean a lot of things that should have been known to someone with experience. The sink had stains that came right off, the dust on all the curtains and window sills and when I asked her to wipe down the baseboards, she said, "oh I thought we got that with the vacuum". She didn't even lift the curtains up where the balcony entrance was because if she did, she would have seen all the dust and dirt on it. I had to tell her to wipe down the fridge and when I asked her about the stove, she said "you need something special to wipe that material down, we dont have that on us." I also had to ask her to wipe down the stair railing and the dirty marks on the door. They don't bring special cleaning supplies. They bring just a spray bottle and a towel. I have laminate floors and you don't drench water on laminate floors. The bath tub was still spotty which I cleaned myself with a Mr. Clean magic eraser.

I came home today to my two maids vacuuming their way out of my home. You don't see that very often! When I entered, I saw flawlessly clean floors, (the way the sun shines in, you can immediately tell when areas have been missed). Moving on in, everything sparkled - tub, bathroom and kitchen tiles and appliances. The furniture was vacuumed and there was no dusting around items on shelves. Everything was moved - including furniture. The glass doors to my deck looked like there was no glass at all. The ladies were very nice and we had a few laughs. They didn't reek of perfume or cigarette smoke and my home was odourless when they left - exactly how I like it. They dress in green, they clean with green and they charge less green than you'd think. I found these ladies as I was passing them by on my bike a few days ago. They were on their way to clean someone's home. I had a gut feeling that they would be good and my gut was bang on!! I don't know how they accomplished so much in such a short time. With this standard of cleaning and service, there is no need to look anywhere else. Give Umberto a call - you'll see!

I learned about Green Maids via my building managers, as they are the official carpet cleaners at my rental apartment building, and I did get a fair quote for my carpets. However, I was also dealing with a huge move of all my 93 year old Mother's stuff out of her apartment due to a fall she had, in hospital for 3.5 months, and put in an extended care home January. Not to mention I also joined her in the hospital with a broken hip and much recovery on my end via hip replacement. So at the end of a very stressful move, I hired Green Maids to clean her apartment once it was empty (she had a substantial damage deposit) and these women were amazing and so was Oliver, on short notice. They came on a weekend, took a bit longer than 2 hours (what do I know about deep cleaning..Ha ha!) but sooo professional and the end price was very fair. My Mom will get her damage deposit back in full because of them!! And I will still get my carpets cleaned by them!

Fantastic Cleaners !!!! I am 65 years old, and spilled a bowl of tomatoe vegetable soup on my carpet...I have a bad hip and couldn’t get down to try to clean it....o called Green Maids, and they sent Kailan out I less than 2 hours and he got it all up....the dud not charge me, and said just give Kailan a tip...I can’t praise them enough...they got the stain completely out, we’re so kind not to charge me, and Kailan was absolutely wonderful to this “old lady”.....I have already recommended you to my friends and family, and will be calling you again for Fall cleaning,,...
