If I could leave negative stars, I would.It's been one year since I had to deal with this company. They ignored my initial emails but once I wrote a bad review they started calling and emailing me nonstop. I told them on more than once occasion to stop contacting me, which they have not done. Just now they called me "to make sure a refund that they had offered went through, because my bad review was still up for people to see". Please for the love of god avoid this company unless you want to be harassed by them for years to come. Also, their statement that I gave them a 5 star review over the phone is a complete lie. Original review: Horrible service. They tried to charge us extra for work they didn't do. If I could give them 0/5 I would.

From 1 star to 5 star, How so you ask? Well, how do you make lemonade from lemons? People like "Lisa" from Smart Maids! Lisa took the time to call me and delivered a winning customer service experience. Al I can say is, regardless of what industry, it's not often to come across a situation where a company takes it to heart that they Really want to make amends and make things right. So often we (the customers) are never listened to. Lisa from Smart Maids has restored by confidence in Smart Maids: 1) She cares. Simple as it sounds, but she does. 2) I was listened to. Often we hear "how sorry", or "I apologize". But the difference is that Lisa listened, processed, and understood me. Oh, and her apology was genuine, not scripted. 3) Empathy and passion. Not often will you come across someone who takes pride and when things sometimes land wrong, are emphatic about it. That comes from caring and have passion in what you do. Smart Maids has what a lot of us need to have, pride and passion in our work. I am wholeheartedly confident going forward with calling Smart Maids again, because I know they care and that they will deliver a winning experience. Thank you Lisa and to all your team members for taking ownership and delivering a winning customer experience. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Well, Google asks to evaluate the enterprise based on Quality, Value, Responsiveness and Punctuality. Let's start with the good: In the cleaning business, most are not very responsive. You can leave a lot of messages and unanswered phone calls. Smart Maids are responsive once you agree to a service moving forward. Now the not so good: The VALUE is no better in the market place / price indicates. Where I feel they are somewhat sly, is if you are honest with your estimate of time so that they can estimate back an invoice accordingly, they do not deliver on that price. If you underestimate the time required then you should expect to pay more. IF it takes 4 hours to clean, and you say it takes an hour or two, then I am honest enough to tell Smart Maids that the previous three cleaning companies averaged (for example, 4 hours) time was ___hrs. But what I didn't expect, was to be charged more when the time given by previous cleaning services were all comparable. The proof is in our video surveillance, which told a different story. I was charged more, but I did not get more cleaning. I paid for the cleaning companies breaks, and cellphone use. oh well, buyer beware. The PUNCTUALITY was 5 hours after the appointment time. I guess that speaks on it's own. I really didn't appreciate having to wait for them for 5 hours. And yes, they knew (management) and no I did not receive any kind of compensation. And I booked two days in advance, and I asked them what would work for Smart Maid. I guess the fact they LOCKED me in by saying yes, I felt during the missed appointment time like a hostage. So I had to wait it out. 5 hours people, that's too long a time without some kind of apology or goodwill on there part. The QUALITY was like any other cleaning company, but somewhat below standards in my opinion. I suppose two people driving in a SMART vehicle, you can only hold so much cleaning tools and supplies. I'm not kidding you, a SMART Vehicle. There is barely any room for a vacuum cleaner, let alone tools and supplies. The floor mopping was really poor. I believe they used a stick and a rag, since they did not have a floor mop. I would of given them mine, but was told we have everything when they showed up. I suppose Smart Maids will right back some kind of response to the effect of "blah blah blah, it's on me not on me, or some excuse about it's my fault etc". But the truth of the matter is, the over all service was disappointing for the total experience promised. The marked up price and the level of cleaning (sub par) leaves a lot to be desired. Cheers!

I used their services for a move out cleaning. As requested, they called me before they arrived at the location and were fully equipped with all the cleaning supplies they needed. The 2 Lady that came were polite, fast and did an amazing job. The apartment looked and smelled like new when they left. It took about 2 hours for the two Smart Maids to complete the task, for a 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom place. Thank you!

bad customer service, I did not know yet about the work but the one who arrange the appointment is aggressive . my appointment done online and then they book me for different time and I replied back that it is not ok and we did agree in different timing but at the day of the service they called and they will come at the time of the previous appointment and said they did not receive anything from me and they don't care about me and they don't want to argue with me just hate them and they maid my day worse

I own several Airbnbs and need them cleaned thoroughly. It was very hard to find a service that adhered to my strict standards : Smart Maids does not disappoint. I also hired them to do my cleaning of the common areas in my other building complex. They even clean the baseboards ! No other cleaning service has ever done that. absolutely terrible customer service. they offered me a time slot and didn't show up! i called about 45 minutes after the staff was supposed to arrive to be told that they would be there in 10 minutes. 45 minutes after that, still a now show, and they stopped answering their phone. if you have time to waste waiting around for a staff that isn't going to show up - this is the cleaning company for you. they have completely ignored my phone calls about getting a full refund also. do not use this cleaning service.

I was very pleased with this service and my whole home sparkled when Catou and Clarissa were finished. I was able to come and go, running errands while the cleaning team was working.
