I can't stress enough how good the service was that I got from Scentral Cleaning. From start to finish, the professionalism showed through. I was explained everything and I knew exactly what to expect with the services I ordered for my home. When I saw the amount of services these guys offer I thought to myself there's no way they can be pros at everything. But I took a leap of faith, I had my entire house cleaned, my carpets cleaned, my duct system cleaned, and two sofas cleaned. Everything was cleaned so well, I mean really sparkling clean. I had no idea that I could ever see my carpets look new again, the house and ventilation system being so clean that I can feel a difference in the air I was breathing! I've dealt with a few cleaning companies before, no one comes close. Thank you Derrick for the great experience and I'll surely be using your company next season. Highly recommended!

We required a basic 1 time cleaning service for a 400 sf apartment that was completely empty and in very well kept condition. Instead they sent over a cleaning crew and charged over 3 times the amount than was quoted. We were in a position where we had to say yes because the cleaning needed to be done immediately. It's a shame because I was going to start using this company regularly for my cleaning, but not anymore. The 1 time greed cost them a long term client. If you order from them, be careful. They will provide you with things you do not require and they will charge you through the roof. Warning: They replied attempting to justify the reasons but in fact they are not addressing the true details. A basic cleaning is all the was needed and required. They blame it on buyers remorse but that is not the case whatsoever. It is because it was not the service we needed.

I was very disappointed by the services rendered by Scentral Cleaning. I had hired one person for three hours in my 3 1/2 apartment prior to a birthday dinner I was throwing. The person who showed up (I paid extra for them to use their own equipment) arrived very annoyed with the parking situation, outside of my control, and with bare bones equipment. He had a very small vacuum, a little canister one I used to use in my dorm in college, not at ALL what a professional cleaning company should be bringing. He asked me "What do you want me to clean" which took me aback, as other cleaning services usually have a checklist ready to go that they execute. It was all very uncomfortable and he seemed unclear on what to do and where to start. His mop was pretty dirty and had almost no actual cleaning chemicals to do the job with. I left to go get cash, hoping it would be alright, and returned a few seconds later to grab my wallet I forgot, to see him VACUUMING MY SHELVES. The ENTIRE vacuum was being held up on my shelf, no nozzle or attachment, just the entire thing on my shelves. He didn't even bother moving some things out of the way to get under them. I calmly asked him to stop and to leave right away and I would deal with the head office myself. I called them and left a message explaining the above. He was visibly annoyed, which was almost understandable, until he returned to my door a few minutes later demanding two hours of payment for no work done. I told him I would call the company and figure it out myself; I did not appreciate him coming back to my door knocking for a few minutes before I felt I had to answer or he wouldn't leave... I did not mind him being a man, but knowing this frustrated man now knew where I lived wasn't comforting. I am not interested in rescheduling or having the service again with this company. They clearly subcontract certain services to the lowest bidder, sending unprofessionals into people's home with terrible equipment. This is simply one experience from one customer, but I feel it is important to let people know of the bad as well as the good.

November 23, 2020, Scentral came to our home in Westmount for a duct and vent cleaning. We paid $375 for this cleaning service and were left with ducts and vents that still need to be cleaned as well as a surprise animal in our walls because the technician never put back the grid and flaps to the vent. We needed to make an urgent call to an exterminator to rid us of a pest. I tried to get a response from them and they just ignored my contact. Obviously, we are really not satisfied with the work and will never be doing business with them again.

I hired Scentral cleaning for a move-out of an apartment and they charged me for two people yet only one showed up. The apartment was definitely a two person job, and was not clean when the technician was finished - I ended up cleaning the stove myself even though I paid for the kitchen special. In addition, in the time it took to arrange the service (multiple phone calls, an in-person estimate) I could have cleaned the apartment myself, saved $325 and done a better job.

Horrible customer service!!!! We had an appointment for carpet cleaning and Windows for Saturday morning. The company confirmed with us twice the day before. On the day of, it was 10:00, so we called because the appointment was at 09:00. By then, all the furniture was moved from our rooms for the carpet cleaning. They told us that someone will be there before 12:00. That never happened! Of course no one was answering our phone calls by then. I finally got in touch with Mr. Morris using a different number, only to be told that he couldn't understand the situation and that he was unable to reach anyone from the office. In today's world, especially a business, people have cell phones.....they choose not to answer or simply couldn't give me an honest answer. They completely wasted my time. The least they could do is cancel with me in the morning, rather then dragging it on for half a day. Very unprofessional behavior. Other people wrote similar reviews. Beware of their promises and pricing as well. Dear Mr. Owner, unfortunately your company is so disorganized that you can't find our coordinates! Mr. MORRIS as well as your secretary have our coordinates. If you would like a further explanation on the service your company provides, give us a call and we could discuss this further. I'm glad your very busy, but the way your company treated us last week is unacceptable and people should know about it!

Being thoughtful about your workers, I told Claudette I would not tip the person coming because I was extremely unhappy and it felt unfair for your worker. I asked her if she could do anything to make me more satisfied and she did not care. I then asked if you could do my kitchen chairs since it was a fair deal, the chairs are tiny and you gave me terrible service. Unfortunately, she had another line and hung up on me. I then proceeded to give you a one star review on google, and instead of calling me to make this right, you called my boyfriend to tell him you would not provide the service. Accusing me of threats, profanity etc. is a very serious accusation. Very unprofessionnal. Second of all, after you called my boyfriend, I myself called back to have an explaination. I kept on telling you I only wanted a good service and a review could be modified, but you kept on talking over me. I did end up hanging up on you because I do not need to hear how you have 10 000 customers, how you've been in business since 1999 and how unimportant I am to you. Third of all, scheduling should be totally in your control. You have a business, you schedule an appointment, you show up to the appointment. I stayed home for three days for nothing, I am human too, I have a family and emergencies to deal with too. One time is ok, three times is not. And by the way, scrolling down the reviews, you always justify the complaints of your workers not showing up or not doing the job by saying you are so incredibly busy. Fine, we get it, you're busy all year long every year, but if you don't have the time to provide the service, don't schedule the appointment ;) J'ai acheté un coupon sur groupon me donnant deux meubles à laver. J'appelle pour prendre le rendez-vous, le sofa compte pour deux meubles parce que c'est un petit sectionnel trois places, le matelas Queen ne compte pas parce que c'est trop gros (double maximum), le tapis ne compte pas parce que c'est le mauvais coupon, etc. Je finis par acheter un service d'extra afin de réussir à faire nettoyer mes meubles désirés, on cédule un premier rendez-vous. Ils annulent le rendez-vous le jour-même. On cédule un deuxième rendez-vous: annulé. Troisième rendez-vous: annulé. Ils me raccrochent la ligne au nez en me disant qu'ils me rappelleront lorsqu'ils auront une disponibilité et ne tiennent pas compte du fait que je ne suis aucunement satisfaite!!!!! Je lave mes tapis à chaque année et c'est de loin le pire service que j'ai reçu.

I hired Scentral Cleaning for the cleaning of an empty condo on Wednesday. The guy called to tell me he would be there at 3 and in the end he showed up at 4. I had no choice but to leave the money there in order to drive back from the city to get my daughter. NONE of the cleaning was done. The big sliding mirrored door was not cleaned, the floor was NOT mopped. I specifically asked for the toilet and refrigerator to be cleaned, both were not done. I have photos to prove that none of it was done. To make matters worse I have now been waiting for a resolution for 3 days about this and every time I call no one seems to know anything of what I’m Talking about. So now I have no choice but to hire a babysitter to do the job myself on the weekend. I read poor reviews about this company and I should have listened. STAY AWAY. I wouldn’t blame the entire company for one man’s poor work, but the fact that I have been getting the run around with promises to return my phone call for the third day now, it’s clearly not only a single persons problem. Very disappointed.

I paid 695$ for a deep cleaning in my home, a duplex with a main floor and a basement. (3 bedrooms.) 3 technicians came, they were an hour late and stayed for less than 3 hours. This comes out to 80 dollars and hour and had this been explained to me I would gone with a differnt service that had a better hourly rate. They did not wash the bathroom floors the mirror in the master bedroom nor did the csweep or mop under the furniture in the nursery . They also left garbage bags on my front lawn . Overall this was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend.

The first time I used their service, everything went very well. The cleaning lady was efficient, clean and polite. The second time, however, was a different story. The lady showed up 1.5 hrs late, which meant I had to change my whole schedule. The cleaning was mediocre at best, with dust and crumbs in obvious places, water rings on tables and patches on every mirror and every surface. One shower had dirt footprints in it. I have no idea what she did for 3 hours. The cherry on top, and the reason why I'll probably never use their service again is that she reeked. You could feel it from meters away. The smell was really awful and stayed on every room she entered. I was busy and really needed the house cleaned (which is why I pay someone to do it for me) so I had no choice but to let her work. I think that hygiene should be a criteria to hire someone to do house cleaning. Call me crazy. I had to use a whole bottle of air freshener, open all windows and turn on all fans to get the smell out of the house after she left. I called them and left them a message to call me back to give them my credit card information, and I mentioned that the experience had been awful. When they called back, I waited for them to ask me what the problem was. Nothing. Just took my credit card and hung up.... Never again.

Cleaning crew was late by more than an hour. The corner stain was so minor that they even said we really didn't need full cleaning and the carpet will be absolutely clean in 48h. However, after 48h the carpet color changed (darkened) more than half of it's surface which looked like instead of cleaning, the process kind of spread it out over a much larger area. We called few times and they said they will follow-up with us to make it right but it's been few weeks and nobody followed up whatsoever. Would not recommend based on my experience.

Great company! Prompt, quick, friendly, and an excellent value. I had a hard time finding a carpet cleaner who was willing to come to my house. I sat through so many spiels from other companies about why they won't do it. These guys didn't do that. They provided me a direct quote, showed up on time, gave me instructions on how to ensure the rugs properly air out, and charged me exactly as much as they quoted me over the phone. Everyone, whoever is looking for an air duct cleaning service, please please please do me and yourself a favor by staying away from this company!! I a new house owner in Montreal and was looking for air duct service and Sentral was actually referred to me by a friend! I don't know if they just on purpose tried to deliver inferior service. For $400, one "technician" showed up, and basically just used vacuum to clean every vent and in total spent less than 1.5 hours and job was finished. I was so surprised because I asked to clean 23-25 vents, the blower of furnace and dryer vent. After he left, I started looking up online, and found out that just 1 dryer vent clean typically take 30 minutes to 1 hour!!! And then when I looked up other air duct services, they have professional sneak brush, huge pipe, and they all say it takes usually 2 people for at least 2 hours even up to 5 hours!!! I now really regretted my choice!!! $400 for just vacuuming the duct vents!!! This is unbelievable!!! For my house cleaning, they have 2 cleaners for 1.5 hours but only charge $100!!!! I now so regretted that I didn't confirm with them when I called by asking what equipment they use, how many people, and what kind of cleaning they operate!!!! This is almost like a rob!!! Please please please stay away from them for Air Duct cleaning (I cannot comment on other services) and for about $100 difference, please choose a more professional one!!!!

I agree with all the other negative reviews about the quality of the cleaning and the response by the owner when someone complains. Terrible, nightmare cleaning. Do not use. Also, awful and rude customer service. I was extremely upset with the cleaner when the person was at my house. They lied about cleaning rooms and when I asked the person to go back and "reclean" (bc it was never done} she refused and said it was clean. House was not dusted, only the very visible parts, floors not washed (she lied) and didn't vacuum. House was visibly dusty and obviously dirty. I called to complain immediately after the cleaner left and no one got back to me for a week. I left several messages but got no response. When I fnally got the manager on the phone he said he was too busy to call back disappointed customers and there is nothing he can do. He also said it wasn't reasonable to ask a cleaner to vaccuum under the bed or dust behind the tv. Seriously??? The cleaner lied about how many hours she was at my house and the owner only defended his staff. During the phone call the manager said to me, "don't treat me like a piece of sh*t, like a dog!" How disgusting to speak to a client that way. I do not know who Cecilia is. But your response to my review is both rude and angry just like the person who I spoke with on the phone. I am also not a teacher??!! You have lied and manipulated the truth in your response. Your cleaner was a waste of my money. You could have accepted that she did a bad job or even called me back. YOu did not act in good faith at all. You made me wait a week and got me even more angry. Not a nice way to treat a client. Other business owners take responsibility for their workers and try to make an improvement. You did not. Instead your lied and wrote shame on you and accused me of lying. Make sure you have the facts before you accuse someone. There is no need to refuse me any further service because I have not booked any so I don't know what you are talking about. Imagine, when someone gives you a bad review instead of redeeming yourself by doing a good job the next time you refuse a customer. This is just another example of the bad customer service I and so many others wrote about.

STAY FAR AWAY!!!! This was my worst experience with a cleaning service ever. First off, I asked for 3-4 hours of cleaning. the company decided to to send 2 people to clean for 1.5 hours and said that its the same thing as 3 hours. As much as I agree with this, I wanted 3-4 hours because I wasn't going to be done cooking until 2 hours into the cleaning. When I called the company to tell them this isn't what I asked for, I got screamed at and cursed at on the phone. When I asked for the manager I was hung up on, I called back to be argued with and hung up on again. I also asked for them to fold my laundry and they told me when they got there they don't have time to fold. This was the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and find a different company.

I used Scentral for their window cleaning services and would NOT recommend them. They left windows with streaks and quite frankly in worse in condition than before they arrived. When I called them, they did end up sending someone they called "more qualified" to re-do the job but the person did not have a ladder tall enough to reach all the windows! When I called a third time, the receptionist was rude, a manager would not speak with me and they would not refund my money. An awful experience!

I called a few months ago to get an estimate for cleaning, they told me a price and wanted to send someone to look. Having decided against it, i thanked them for their time and wished them a lovely day. All was good until a week later when i received the first " check up" call.. i answered and informed them i decided against cleaning services. I thought that was it. until the week after... and the week after.. i suppose im on a roster for check ups now despite never getting the service. I've asked them a few times to removed me from said list and to stop calling as once a week is overkill considering i never even got their services. They still call... This company is a joke. Spoke to a Adam which quoted me for a job. We penciled in a date which was 3 weeks after the quote and that we agreed on terms and conditions for the work. The week prior the team calls me about 8x to confirm an appointment, the morning of the job the team calls me 4x asking me the postal code ( since apparently they didn’t have access to Canada post) and once the technician arrives I get this message and I quote « Hi Anthony, unfortunately my technician is not able to do this job some windows are not accessible and too high for his ladder sorry about the inconvenience and have a good day » I replied and they answered this : « Sorry we are not equipped to do a specialized job like this and we don’t want to mess up with your blinds « This is 3 weeks after we agreed on a price and that I got a service proposal.... for greater clarity it’s a town house we’re talking about not a cathedral.... Don’t waste your time with them In response to the Derick’s commentary: In all transparency I am appalled by your managerial approach, lack of a solution / accommodating vision let alone apologetic attitude in light of this situation. Firstly, please ensure that the last thing I would ever want (subsequently to this experience) is for you to do this “small job”which is so minuscule that you don’t even have a ladder or are equipped to complete. I rarely socialize my experiences for the sake of time efficiency but this occasion led to avoid remaining silent in tandem of the unacceptable treatment and your response confirms that others should be made aware of your mediocre (at best) service proposal. Had your team been transparent as at the initial job review and when THEY VISITED the house (3 weeks prior to circling a service date) this would have been aligned with an honest and customary approach with technical expertise (don’t bite more that you could chew). That you drag me along, quoted me a price and we agreed on a date (hence implicitly confirming that you have the capacity to do the job) and the day of cancel out (with a text message advising me to have a nice day) and really you’re here defending yourself? FYI: I simply informed your team (as at the initial job quote ) that I invested in expensive blinds on a proactive standpoint to try to encourage for a cautionary and prudent approach and your claiming that it was a threat (why because I advised them that I would be completing a review, that’s a threat for you) or I was hostile—completely ludicrous. I remain hopeful that others don’t get mislead by the lack of your technical expertise, just be straight with your clients. Yes I could do the job or no I can’t. It ends there and if things go wrong just call and apologize, don’t hide and try to deteriorate others credibility, own up to your mistakes....

I was later told that we offer other services such as cleaning stains on mattresses, sofas and we took the time to explain to me how to properly maintain my duplex in the future. also bought some organic products on site to use at home and in my duplex. I also plan to contact them for window cleaning in my main residence and also for steam cleaning of my carpets since I benefit from a discount coupon on my next cleaning. Je compte les contacter également pour le nettoyage des vitres dans ma résidence principale et aussi pour le nettoyage à la vapeur de mes tapis puisque je profite d’un coupon rabais sur mon prochain nettoyage. Je lui ai demandé pourquoi il n'avait pas la pompe à eau et désinfectante (j'ai déjà eu recours à ce genre de service), et il me répond que c'est comme ça qu'il fait son travail, m'a dit au revoir et est parti! Je n'ai jamais reçu un tel service! C'est de l'escroquerie pure et dure! Heureusement que je m'en suis aperçu à l'avance, sinon j'aurais eu un nettoyage d'air climatisé fait avec un chiffon, un aspirateur et un produit pour les vitres! Et qui coûte 260$!!
