John and Josh were our floor installers after a flood happened in our basement. John promised to make our new floors look amazing and he didn't disappoint. His professionalism and flooring installation skills were 5 star. Was also impressed with how he took his time to explain to us the process and how it would come together and do check ins to insure our satisfaction. John also was thoughtfully training Josh in his methods of installation. They both work so well together. Josh himself was kind, polite, professional and great to work with. We would have them back anytime and made the ordeal so much better. Jordan Robbins was our project manager for the repairs. He was easy to reach, communicate with and helped us along with understanding the process. He coordinated a great team of people to help us and we swift to help dry the water up for us. He did site inspections regulatory and made flooring recommendations which we appreciated. He was professional through the whole process. His team of movers, which I am failing to remember the ladies names which is terrible, but they were amazing and worked so hard to pack and organize our contents. Thanks WINMAR.

The A team Jordan and his team are so awesome. They were out immediately to get the process rolling with the insurance company and start of the cleanup and restoration in the most expedient way. Communications back and forth was flawless. Jordan explained the scope of work in a easy to understand manner along with the time lines of the cleanup and restoration. Scott and his team at Winmar were very quick to assist after a large tree fell on our roof after a wind storm. Scott quickly sent out one of his roofers to patch the damaged areas, then promptly followed up by getting estimates for the repairs. Scott also assisted in settling our claim with insurance. From there he quickly initiated a contractor to re-shingle the house and install new soffits, fascia and eaves troughs. We are very happy with the quality and value of the work completed. Winmar acted in an extremely professional manner throughout this process, and as a result we would not hesitate to recommend and/or use their services again in the future :)

The day I experienced a loss of my house due to a fire was one of the most emotionally draining experiences I have ever experienced and is still very surreal. Before emergency services even cleared scene Jordan Robbins arrived and gave my family the piece of mind that we would be taken care of. In the days immediately after the fire Jordan was involved and checked in with us, making sure that everything was going well and on track. Jordan ensured that his team did whatever they could to make the process as smooth as possible. As we are going through the process of rebuilding Jordan has made sure we know everything that is happening and is going above and beyond any expectations we had for this process. We had an opportunity to work with Eric and his team after a substantial flood in our home. Not only did he respond immediately (after midnight) he stayed and took extensive photos and notes to ensure our claim was properly prepared. Eric was understanding and professional, making sure our every concern was addressed and any work done, by any company we hired, was completed to our approval without any hassle. Mathis and Jeff were friendly, skilled and very clean as they basically rebuilt a quarter of our home. I enjoyed working with them alot, and loved their humor and personalites. I can't remember all of the Winmar staff that helped us, but I hope they know we appreciate there efforts and are very thankful for their help recovering from our 2020 flood. Our family would gladly have any of the winmar staff back in our home.

Been waiting 3 months for a roof repair. I put tarps up in a high wind storm. Nobody has showed up to inspect the roof or the tarps. Now 3 months later the tarps are coming off. I'm getting water leaking through my brand new windows. My son's ceiling fan has water pouring through it. There is black mold starting to grow everywhere in the attic. The plywood is extremely soft. Even the drywall tape in the attic has started to peel off the drywall joints. 3 months ago this was an easy 1 day repair. Now it's starting to look like full on construction of my roof and second floor. Having gone through my home insurance I would have assumed a speedy service. But finding out that Winmar was using a third party roofing company. Not returning phone calls. Not keeping contact with us. Or the third party. And spotty contact with my insurance company In terms of dates and times of inspections or service. We haven't even been given the name of the third party company. I would not recommend that this company. Or the third party roofing company, ever do any work. On any jobsite or personal residence. Thanks for nothing Winmar Absolutely disgusted by your service. I have contacted the insurance company and told them to hire somebody else. There are people on site doing the mold abatement and drying out my attic. I've hired a roofing company who is on site now doing an assessment. Something your company couldn't do in the last 3 months. Update. Now almost 6 months after the fact. With zero contact from Winmar. With a new roof, all of the insulation in the attic replaced. The ceiling on my entire second floor replaced. Several walls worth of drywall replaced and repainted. I'm happy to say that my house is back to normal again. Funny thing is that on the final day of construction to my house. This is the day that Winmar decided to finally call to ask how things are and when they can come to start repairing my issues. Keep in mind the damages happened on may 13th 2018. It is now October 9th. And to the person/persons responsible for the automated response from my initial review. You are correct. My name is not associated with the original claim. My wifes name is Christine Passfield. So when you decide to read this again, you can find out which customer you failed to service. Winmar is not to be trusted. Because they dont care about the customer. You guys are ridiculous and should be run out of business. Once again thanks for nothing Winmar. Absolutely disgusting customer service

The initial requirement being a HazMat cleanup, they were very considerate to all concerned during this trying situation. Not only did they expedite the cleanup in the promised time, they exceeded expectations by completing additional worked, not included in the original request. Such was our satisfaction that they were again engaged for the required restoration. Here too they did not disappoint. Considering restrictions placed on them by the CoViD crisis, Jordan was still able to source acceptable replacement items. Where there was indecision on our part he was given free reign and executed a choice that was acceptable. The original object was to prepare for the return of the owner to something far better than when he left but unfortunately passed before this could happen. Regardless, we appreciated the effort and consideration of Jordan and his team in doing their best, and more, to do what we could not.

I had a flood in the basement of my rental property while I was away on vacation. I contacted Winmar Barrie and they took over the situation and put my tenant at ease until I returned to the country nearly a week later. They found the source of the water leak, removed the damaged material and dried out the apartment and made the unit live-able without displacing my tenants. Once we had picked out new flooring to replace what had been damaged during the flood, I had their carpenters return to the property to put everything back together without disrupting our tenants day to day lives. I can say without hesitation, I would recommend Winmar to anyone experiencing a flood in their property. Their staff are friendly and seem to really like working for the company, and it showed in the quality of the workmanship.

Our landlord is using your services, 6 weeks on from the aftermath of the tornado ,and apart from some activities in boarding and clearing the site of debris any repair work like windows fencing is non existent. We have approximately 8 weeks til fall and winter is around the corner . There's about 3-5 days work required. Pull ya finger out. Update: project manager makes appointment, no show,no notification of non attendance or running late,doesn't answer phone . Unprofessional by all counts.

Had insurance claim back in march 2019 for ice and water damage. First of service was subpar. Doesnt take 6 months to do half a basement of lower drywall and carpet really pathethic. Should have taken no more than 1 month. No cleanup carpet company left a complete mess. Would not recommend this company to anybody. If i could give zero stars i would

Jordan Robbins and his team were terrible to deal with. It took 4 months to fix my roof after a tree fell on it. His correspondence is his choice, he does not get back to you even when specifically asked. If you call the office they give you the run around. In order to fix my roof they felt it necessary to rip up my lawn with their equipment. They have done nothing to fix it, the Claims advisor from state farm Amy Morel (also garbage at her job) has said there is nothing she can do for us and we must pursue it on our own, even though thats her job. Dont hire Winmar to fix damage to your property because they will just wreck a different part of your property. Zero stars Barrie Winmar.

Our insurance company contacted Winmar Barrie and within 1/2 hour of the call Jordan Robbins was in our home. He provided a comprehensive, detailed and reassuring plan that he has followed step-by-step with empathy. He and his coworkers have put my family at ease, helped us through the devastation and handled the entire disaster with care and compassion. Our belongings (that survived) were handled with loving hands and each and every day the people onsite were polite and professional. Very happy with my two experiences here having hockey equipment cleaned! The customer service is friendly and helpful. The cleaning made our equipment smell better than new and makes the house smell better when airing out. I brought in a combination of newer and older equipment. Everything looks like new now and faired very well in the washer except one old glove. Some dye bled off one logo and another logo was 'cleaned/removed' off. I'm not picky about that sort of stuff but be aware it could happen. Thanks again!

We had someone out to quote the next day, and they went above and beyond! Because my wife was home with a baby, our representative went to the City to get the permit on her behalf, which was very appreciated. Originally we were told they would be able to start in a couple weeks, but then they called and said they could start in a couple days! He provided excellent service and project management. When we had questions or concerns, he responded to our emails literally within an hour, often within minutes to make sure our questions were answered and we were satisfied.
