They were very respectful about social distancing and had their masks on the whole time. Right on time and communicated well during booking and when explaining everything in person as well. Got stains out that we definitely didn't think would. Before starting they explained up front where they thought some things might come out and why. And even those spots they managed to get the worst of it up! Stains that other "professionals" couldn't get out are gone. Love it! On top of their professionalism and quality results, they were also friendly. I would recommend them immensely.

Nathan did a great job on my place on a Saturday afternoon when I was busy doing other things. He was quick, efficient, wore a face mask the entire time, and was extremely relatable with stories about his past as a Chef. I had him over to clean my bathroom shower and bedroom carpets which he did an immaculate job on even going so far as to apply sealants afterwards. My carpet, which hadn't been cleaned in ages(I often wear my outside shoes indoors) literally went from being caked with small bits of hair, dirt and dust to a pristine white carpet afterwards with not a spec of dust to be seen after and the room smelled better too! Anyways tl;dr Shotover Carpet Cleaning does great work for reasonable rates and you should totally hire this hard working man. 10/10 and three thumbs up ????????????

Nathan and Mackenzie did a great job and were super professional! Totally would recommend them. Expensive, IMO. We only had a small amount of carpet to clean, so they were done in 30 minutes, but it was $220, which seemed like a lot. I understand how they have to charge a minimum to make it worth a service call. If you have a lot of carpet to do, they would be good value and do a great job.

We bought a house with a badly stained slate floor.After attempting to scrub it myself, I gave up and contacted Nathan on a Sunday. He responded within 10 minutes to give me the bad news that they don’t do slate because they can’t guarantee the results will be up to their standards. He did offer me some product(for free) and just delivered it to my door with instructions for proper use. He really did not need to do that but we are sure grateful. Who goes out of their way to help you when there is no money to be made? Nathan is an honest and kind man.Many companies will say they can deliver when they know they can’t. I appreciate the fact that Nathan was honest in his evaluation of the job and did not want us to be disappointed in the result. When we have a carpet , tile or hardwood floor to be cleaned, you can be sure we will be calling this company!
