The company seems to have had a change of ownership since we last dealt with them, the previous owners had been good to deal with. Since we heat with oil, we contracted the (previous owners) to change out the tanks. This all went OK even though there was a leak in one of the fittings post installation, this they fixed without charge. The leak had started again but the new owners will not honour the work of the previous owners despite the company name remaining the same.
Another point: Their callouts are based on milage and are VERY high. They will ask you to place a credit card on file BEFORE they come out to you and you will get a nasty surprise on your bill as they won't tell you what the callout charge we be. On my last furnace service, they charged my credit card without my permission and without sending me the invoice first, thereafter claiming the email address was incorrect. That seemed odd, considering they had sent emails to me before. on that email address.
Based on this, I will not be using their services again.
IN RESPONSE: I do understand that there is a limitation to the guarantee of the work however based in the leak issue at the time of the installation, the leaks from the filter housing on subsequent annual servicing(s) and the fact that the same fitting is leaking again, it is my opinion that things could have been done better given the severe consequences from the Ministry of the Environment with regard to oil leaks and the liability it imposes to both the home owner and the installer.
