Good for washing your clothes.. but crazy expensive for washing and drying your clothes, plus need bigger machines to do bigger loads, like a sleeping bag ! So you can't do big stuff ! Their not up to date for washing big sruff.!!!!!?? They need bigger machines...!!!!!

Wow, the attendant on site was rude rude rude. Imposing herself on people’s business, telling people how to do their laundry when she had no idea what she was talking about. Prices were the highest that I have ever seen. $5.25 wash $2.50 for 8 minutes to dry. Rude and insulting. Will never go back.

Horrible attendant. Wow!! Rude, ignorant. Washers don't spin well, dryers cost a fortune and take forever. But there's no other laundromats, so you're pretty much stuck with it.

I wouldn't give any star for that place. Cost too much $$ and take forever to dry, even small amount of clothes. Idk what's up w/ the owner. I use laundromat up in Haliburton and long drive but worth it

Had to run into Haliburton recently, so decided to try out their laundromat - big mistake, compared to our one in Bancroft!.....Always buy/use local! First, Bancroft's is MUCH bigger, with larger isles & lots of seating, plus a huge waiting area. In Haliburton's when folding clothes on a table, there is limited room for people to walk by - not so in Bancroft's - PLENTY of walking room. Next, Bancroft has a GREAT person on the premises to help you, answer any questions & give change for the machines! She's very friendly & patient - please, don't ever leave, sell or retire!.....???? In Haliburton there is only a coin machine that gives change with no one on the premises for any help. It wasn't giving me change (eating my loonies, but would give change from bills) & a woman before me had the same issue. There is a number to call for a refund, but I had to drive across town for it; plus, no one was putting up a sign saying its partially not working. Also in Haliburton I had a machine that wasn't spinning properly (no, it wasn't overloaded) & a local there said there is an issue with that machine & if I drove again, I could get my money back.....arg!....☹☹.....and no sign on it, stating such! Bancroft's is the best & has a great human being there to address any concerns!......????????????????????????????????????????????

Never go to this Laundromat unless it is absolutely necessary and you want to encounter a very rude women working there. We were a couple of minutes late to empty our washing machine and she yelled at us for not emptying them. She could of handled it so much better. Never returning, such an unpleasant experience.

One of the worst experiences of my life. The woman that works there is extremely rude and I was verbally harassed because I came to collect my dry laundry at 5:25 when the posted closing hour is 6pm. She told me I was not allowed to fold my laundry and had to get out. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! When I asked her politely "why not adjust your hours to 5pm if you want to leave?" she scowled and told me "why not do your laundry earlier?" I will never return to this place with outdated equipment and mean attendant.

This laundromat has lots of washers and dryers but.....the one woman who owns it or works there seemed to always be in my space and policed it like it was a bank. Trying to be helpful I guess but I literally couldn't move she was right there in my space. Also I needed a small amount of change for a few dryers. ( I have a dryer at home and only planned to use hers for towels) She commented as I put a $5 bill down stating ' oh you will need way more money than this for drying' .I said no I only need $5 worth thanks she hesitated and said you will need more. I said can I just have the coins please?!!! Annoying I felt uncomfortable and rushed as she walks around checking people's dryers and time left. She hovered and watched me. I will NOT go back there .

Terrible and an expensive rip-off. 50% of the machines are out of service -- and have been for months. Several others don't work well at all, e.g., spent $3 drying one small load and things still weren't dry. Had to take them home and hang them up. Complaints met with a shrug by young male attendant.

Had to run home to grab my forgotten wallet and was sent packing 32 mins prior to closing with only half dry laundry. "It could have been dry"... If i forget my wallet at a business and return with sufficient time to do my shopping I would not expect to be denied service. There was one other machine in use the whole time I was there, it was not holding anyone or anything up except the staffs early departure Some people use laundromats in times of need. The total lack of understanding and selfish attitude of the attendant (must be the owner) really disappointed me. We all want to go home. If you want to be home before 6 make your hours representative of this. Selfish.

Have to agree with an earlier comment. It is great that there is someone on site to help. I had one machine that would not accept my coins. The attendant is able to resolve right away. A very clean facility.

Nice place with a lot of machines, run by a very nice woman. We did laundry+drying in the middle of an RV vacation so it was a life-saver. 5$ for a full load machine, the dryer is by quarters. She sells tide pods, both regular and sensitive which was a nice touch given our allergy-prone kids. She helps and chats with customers. She does stress the fact that you should be on time because she has a large turnover and can't keep machines waiting so you have to be considerate - which is fair. IDK if it's considered expensive but for a vacationer it is totally reasonable. The machines work well and are fast (30 min for washer, and 40 min for two loads together in one dryer).

Worst costumer service ever. There must be some confusion with the hours because I was verbally abused by the woman attendant for picking up my dry laundry at 5:25pm when the posted closing hour is 6pm. She told me I was NOT ALLOWED to fold my laundry and had to leave. I asked politely why not adjust your hours? and she said why not do your laundry earlier? She also did not respect Covid-19 rules and was way too close to me. This place should be shut down. I will drive to Barry's Bay so I never have to see that horrendous woman ever again.

Excellent laundromat with lots of washers and dryers, and friendly, helpful staff. $5/wash, $1 per 7.5 minute dry. Will exchange bills for change (loonies) on site. Also offers a drop-off service where they wash your clothes for you for a fee.
