Not impressed. My wife hired them for a one time clearing before the holidays. They lied about the time they got to the house and then they ask for more money to finish the job Over $550 plus tax to be more exact. I guess they think we are not regulars and they do not care. We also wanted the floors to be steamed and we mentioned over the phone but when the 2 cleaners arrived they did not have the equipment with them (they blamed their office- did not even apologize). We never got a call back from the office and they never followed -up. Their fancy video from their website sold my wife in picking up the phone and hiring them. Big mistake.

Just talking about the level of communication. I have sent them an email asking about the availability and the cost. I got an automated reply stating they will get back to me in 24-48 hours. However, did not get the response until after four days. At that time it was too late. 2 weeks later, I’ve got a reply to my upper review composed of 682 words talking about how negative review can affect the business although at the beginning of the review I mentioned it is only about the level of communication which seems like still an issue. With all the 682 words, I did not find any explanation for the delay in response which happened 4 days after my first contact, while clearly mentioned in their automated reply that the office will respond in 24-48 hours. If they are blaming COVID then it would be better to mention that on the website of the corporation and changing the response interval of 48 hours to 5 days. Overall, I found the 682-word-response non professional.

My regular person comes in and works around my day as it progresses. Very considerate of work schedules. And an overall lovely person to have in my home. Windsor has been maintaining the common areas of my multi-residential property for several years; and, via their “Special Services” division, cleaning apartments for incoming tenants. I rely on Windsor. I trust them completely to do quality work in reasonable time. The cleaners are honest, personable, and seem genuinely interested in doing a good job. They are directed and supported by an equally dedicated office staff--who have been known to work miracles on very short notice! I highly recommend Windsor for any type of cleaning job.

I interviewed with Windsor Home Cleaning and was briefly hired before I quit due to shady work practices. The interview itself was full of inappropriate comments and questions. They asked me if I was married, was I planning to have kids, what was my home life like etc. Because they “don’t want to hire people with kids” which is illegal to even ask in a place of employment. Then they informed me that they were skeptical about hiring me because “young people have no work ethic”. Then they asked me about my education and when I told them I am university educated, they told me they don’t like to hire people with higher education. Despite all of my “inherent incompatibilities”, they asked me to come in for a “test shift”. What they meant by that was after the initial interview, they bring you to a client’s house and make you work for free to test “how you clean”. If they are impressed with your unpaid labour, which is completely unsupervised and devoid of training, THEN, they let you come in on a training basis where you’re actually paid. If you impress the supervisor for 2 weeks, who, again, does not give you instructions or supervision, then you can actually be hired and be “part of the family” as they called it. These practices are unprofessional and completely illegal. I wouldn’t trust this company in your home.

I have been using Windsor Home Cleaning for about 5 years now. I have them come in every few months for a "One-Time" service to do a heavy-duty cleaning in my home. I am always impressed by the professional, friendly staff but more importantly their attention to detail and the thoroughness of the cleaning. Cleaners not properly briefed of my cleaning requirements documented by intake staff. Was assigned inexperienced cleaners. except for the first cleaning by one of their good cleaners. Managing staff with rude tone non-accepting of feedback. Will not recommend this company.

Windsor home cleaning is a great company. I have worked for Windsor for almost 9 years. I am one of three trainer's and quality control officers. Windsor offers extensive training programs between 1 and 3 weeks depending on your experience. We offer benefits and life insurance. The best part is that it is a Monday to Friday job, which is great for families. I love working for this company.
