I had vermiculite in my attic that turned out to contain asbestos. Not what any homeowner wants to hear! I contacted a number of removal companies, but the only ones who listed all the recommended removal precautions (tenting, a shower setup for them, a bin with full negative air pressure, etc.) was PowerVac. We ran into a few scheduling problems, but they stayed in contact and were pleasant and professional throughout. The removal was done quickly and professionally, and they made sure it passed an air inspection before breaking down their work area. They also arranged to have insulation added back into the attic for me, and those sub contractors were also pleasant and professional. All in all a good experience and I would recommend them for asbestos remediation.

They were punctual, which gets them one star. However, our experience with this company was completely unpleasant. The two guys who came to do the job were utterly unprofessional, cursing and clearly not wanting to do the job. There may have been some lack of communication on what they were expecting to do. They complained about everything. One of them grabbed my desk and pulled it, sending my computer, phone, etc flying onto the ground. They then left and did not do the job. When we called to complain, the person we spoke to (who said they were the president) was combative and dismissive. She told us that the two guys said they left because we have bedbugs, which is absolutely a lie and just an excuse they used for their appalling behaviour. The representatives of this company are rude, unprofessional and have no regard for your belongings.

Booking the appointment over the phone was very easy. The individual on the phone understood what I wanted done and didn't try to upsell me on any other deals. Mike the technician arrived early and was very polite and pleasant. He took me through how the process works and what he's going to do. No damage, no mess and again Mike didn't try to sell me any other services which is a very nice change. Highly recommend.

Was okay. They dont show you the dirt. Seems like a good clean but dont scrub the vents for some reason I thought I read they cleaned them. I notice nothing but I am sure they are cleaned he covered things. Some vents not so much. Said they were heating vents but I thought cooling. Regardless they weren't dealt with or covered. Idk. The dryer vents were not done. I wont recommend or do this company again

We recently had Powervac clean our ducts and dryer vent and must say the service was excellent. The techs were on time, courteous and professional. Any questions I had were answered, and the process was explained with a smile. If you are interested in improving the air quality and safety of you home (after I saw what came out of the dryer vent I can now see why it can pose a real fire hazard) I would highly recommend Powervac. We fired up the furnace and didn't smell a thing, I think that shows just how good a job Powervac did. I highly recommend this firm.

This experience was a struggle the entire journey. I wasted 2 half days of work waiting for them to show up an hour late on the second appointment. The truck broke down on the first appointment and blew a hose on the second as well. The bill had charges for more vents than what were actually done. The house was a mess after and wall corners were scuffed up from hoses. The guys were personable but I was still given an overpriced bill after it was supposed to be "no charge" for the screw ups. Just me but the other reviews look staged. Good luck with YOUR experience!!

Power Vac Ontario/National Duct Today we had the pleasure of Kyle A. Performing our duct cleaning service. Its not to Often that I say this I AM IMPRESSED. Kyle showed up on time was approachable and answered all my questions professionally. Through Kyle’s assessment of our vents and ducts, the system in our home was long overdue for a cleaning. I was truthfully dumbfounded at the dirt and dust found in our system; it is for this reason the service took a little bit longer than anticipated to perform. We are now as of this post just a few short hrs past cleaning and we have a noticeable difference in air quality. Included with the initial estimate was a dryer vent cleaning I am glad we spent the extra on this, as the amount of buildup within this system could have resulted in a fire, the dryer is now running substantially cooler in comparison to before this service was preformed. About Kyle A. what an awesome guy, as an executive with a publicly traded company I can't stress the importance of excellent communication and being personable, this is a trait not found today and I'm happy to see it in people like Kyle. Given the times we live in today I felt extremely comfortable having Kyle in my home, my son liked him as well my wife, but above all my dog Dexter liked him. please do your best to retain staff like Kyle as not many exist like him. I have already contacted friends and family to use your company and don’t be surprised if they directly request him. Best Derrick

If I could give them minus 10 I would, I moved to my 10 years old house and I hired them back on feb 2020, ever since they done the job at my house I had two of the 4 bedrooms frozen cold in the winter and super hot in the summer, this winter. Decided to check the furnace to find out that the Tech who was supposed to vacuum the dust and clean then, he took out two main baffles that helps with the air balancing and disrupting system. I had to hire a sheet metal company who came and fixed the issue by supplying and installing new baffles that cost me $450 I will call their office for compensation, if they don’t then I’ll call the Better Business Peru
