We enlisted the services of Oxy-Genie to clean a spare bedroom (where we had looked after a rabbit that was just learning to litter-train so wasn't perfect yet) and another room where we had used our bicycles on trainers, and gotten some grease on the carpet. Unheard of from a service provider. He came in and looked around, realized the carpets were brand new (6 months) and said they didn't need cleaning. He could not see or detect in any way, any remnants from the bike grease, nor the urine from the rabbit. He was very honest and said it was his professional opinion to just leave them. He could have easily roped me into cleaning these rooms, because I am a cleaning fanatic! I just felt really bad that Ken had booked time to clean these rugs and so didn't end up with a job. So ... Not all stains were removed - some are still present afterwards, and there still is a residue left on the carpet that was not there before.
