We've been using Mopify for several months now, and have had a few really good cleaners through this service. Though, because of staff vacations and our changing the cleaning frequency, we have had different people, we have always been able to end up with people who do a great job. Unlike some previous cleaners we've had, quality isn't degrading over time. I'm really happy I found this service. They're more affordable than many of their competitors. My house cleaner was Allison who was very friendly and arrived right on time. This was my first cleaning with any service, and she let me know the total number of hours I scheduled for wasn't going to be enough for what I wanted accomplished. She offered to stay longer (and bill me of course, which is fine ). but didn't put any pressure and let it be my choice. I appreciated that.She did great work as well.

I requested a deep clean of my one-bedroom apartment. My home is very tidy and I keep it to a high standard so it was not like they were walking into a huge mess.I just wanted a deep spring cleaning. I allocated four hours, as I asked for my kitchen cabinet fronts and backsplash to be attended to, and I asked for the deep baseboards in our old house to be dusted and wiped, and for the doors to be spot cleaned for fingerprints. I also asked for the front hallway which is a common area in our house to be washed and vacuumed. I came home after four hours and to be fair the bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The rest of the house, floors, upholstered furniture, wooden furniture, rugs, had not been vacuumed or dusted. I emailed the owner videos of all of the dirt and dust, and asked that I only be charged one or two hours for the job, as I do think the bathroom and kitchen were done well.The owner communicated with me quickly and agreed that a proper job had not been done. But she charged me the full amount and only said that she would send someone back to finish the job or give me a credit for the portions of the job which were not finished. My husband and I are both self-employed and we would never ever perform this level of poor customer service for one of our customers. I do not recommend this cleaning company for these reasons.

Prior to covid 19, I had used a cleaner from mopify every 2 weeks for 6 or 7 months, and it was great. We stopped during covid, but wanted to start up again 2 months ago. We booked our first appointment, and it was canceled 10 days prior. This was frustrating as we had chosen a certain day for a reason. They told us they would keep looking but when we hadn't heard from them 2 days prior I reached out and found out they were not even looking for someone. They did offer us another day at that point so we switched. Shortly after they booked our next monthly cleaning. Then 10 days before that one, they canceled again. I reached out to express my frustration and their customer service was terrible. They provided no solution or explanation. I have had to email them multiple times and still no solution. I am not at all impressed with their customer service. The cleaning service have always been great. If I had my cleaners contact, I would hire her outside of mopify any day.

After cancelling 2/3 appointments the morning of (90 minutes notice), when a cleaner finally showed up they caused thousands of dollars of water damage to my painted cabinets. We very happy with our cleaner here in Winnipeg, unfortunately she quit with no notice and the company has not been able to find us a replacement in our area. When communicating with Mopify, a different staff member appeared to be responding to our emails every time, without knowing the history of my account. Annoying having to repeat myself. Disappointed we no longer have a cleaning service.

We had an absolutely terrible experience with this company and I will NEVER use or recommend them to anyone. We requested a move-in cleaning for our new place simply because my wife is 6 months pregnant and cannot do all the bending and crouching required to properly clean our new place (otherwise we would have simply done it ourselves). We were quoted for 7 hours of cleaning and the list of what was to be done was quite thorough so I didn't mind paying given the circumstances. The day of the cleaning (which was booked for 1PM (not AM)), we got a text letting us know that our cleaner would be late because she missed her alarm and ended up sleeping in. That's fine; it happens... When she finally showed up, we let her do her thing as we were quite busy with it being our possession date; all we had asked to be done additionally was the baseboards. We pretty much just left her to it and then returned here and there throughout the day as we were busy running around. Around 7:30PM; I was asked what I wanted her to do for the rest of the time to which I simply said "whatever you feel needs to be done" as I wasn't going around double-checking the work (and foolishly assumed it was all done). After 6.25 hours, she checked out and I left as well (we were only moving our stuff in the following day). When my wife and I arrived the following morning (in the daylight) to gear up for our big move, we were shocked at the state of our place and the cleaning that was done (or lack thereof). The cupboards were completely filthy, the fridge still had dirt in it, NONE of the sinks or tubs had been cleaned (as there was still hair and dirt everywhere). While the toilets were cleaned at first glance, a closer look deeper in the bowl showed otherwise. The hardwood floors were sticky to the point where my wife was tracking dirt from the rest of the floors around and her feet were practically black (see photo in album below); while cleaning products may have been used on the floor; clearly too much was used; the french doors were filled with streaks, I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the picture (and if you don't, I've shared the gallery I made of the aftermath of our cleaning below). Essentially, even the most basic things were omitted during the cleaning. It turns out, my 6 month pregnant wife and mother ended up having to clean the entire house and, make no mistake, she struggled the entire time. I immediately contacted the company to voice my total displeasure to which they offered me a $100 refund of my $250 bill (or a free cleaning...lol). This wasn't acceptable to me so I escalated the complaint to management to which they came back with a $200 refund. At that point, I just accepted the refund and will be putting this experience behind me. While I feel I should have received a full refund, I'll use the $50 spent as a life lesson. When you hire somebody to clean an ENTIRE house from top to bottom for a move-in, you *REALLY* need to be sending 2-3 people to get the job done. While the cleaner had a good attitude, was pleasant and very apologetic for being late; clearly being a cleaner is not her calling. Now in reading all of Mopify's responses to other complaints here, I know they'll likely come back with something trying to lay blame on us for whatever reason (or some other snarky response); however there is NO EXCUSE you can give for the terrible job you guys did for our 6.25 hour cleaning. Did she vacuum? Yep. Did she wipe down all the cat rub spots on the walls that we pointed out to her before we left? Yep. That was pretty much it. I will never deal with this company again. These photos were taken on our main floor the morning after our cleaning and I didn't share the ones from the other floors (trust me; you likely don't want to see the amount of hair we pulled out of the bathroom drain anyways!). In response to Mopify's response to me; please do go back and forth; I'm curious to know your view on the state of the house before and after. I paid for a MOVE-IN cleaning...MOVE-IN. I'd argue you left it in worse shape!

Love that I can schedule online! The lady who did our first cleaning was very considerate of the fact that I work from home. My cat is anxious around people and loud noises so she allowed him to stay in my office until almost the end of the scheduled time and then we only had to move him the once. I used Mopify for Edmonton for this first time yesterday and was very pleased with the result! It was very easy to schedule the cleaning online, and to add all instructions online instead of having to leave notes. It was also great to have an option to have the company provide the supplies; we just moved into a new home and definitely don't have enough/the recommended stuff. Additionally, it's so nice to put a credit card on file and not have to worry about cheques or e-transfers. Robben showed up on time and cleaned for the full quoted time. We received a notification when they were done. We came home to a beautifully clean house, and the little touches like folding the towels and the end of the toilet paper went a long way! AND she somehow fixed our creaking garbage can lid that has been driving me crazy for months. Looking forward to our next service!

Worst cleaning service company. They take your money and don’t clean your space. I have proof of everything and they still tell me they can’t refund or come and clean again simply because I did not contact them within 24hour. Is that reasonable for a person who had moved out of the house? This is unbelievable and I don’t think anyone should be using this company. EDIT: The owner responded to my review with completely misinformation. They claim I tried to book for Dec 23 - not true, I was booking for December 19, and I contacted them weeks in advance knowing it was a busy season so that I could book in time. I understand they have other customers, but appointments should be booked as they are available. It is very bad business practice to tell a customer you will not confirm their booking until it is too late to book elsewhere, even when they have slots available, "IN CASE" some other customer changes their existing appointment at the last minute. Why should I get bumped if I booked first? No other company can operate like this. Further, the owner is claiming they tried to provide me "alternative solutions", which is another lie. The only '"solution" they presented me with was that if some other customer changed their appointment at the last minute and took my time slot, they could arrange another cleaning time for me AFTER the holidays. How is that a solution? I am booking to get my place cleaned before the holidays. They had space, they just refused to book me in to preference other people who did not plan better. Imagine if you tried to book an airline ticket and they told you that "in case someone else decides they want your ticket at the last minute, we won't confirm your flight, but we can make up for it by giving you a flight after the holidays". How does that help? Bad customer service, bad booking practice, and lies from the owner on top of it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I tried to book an appointment weeks in advance for a cleaning before the holidays, but their policy is that they will not confirm my booking until 5 days before my cleaning date, and will prioritize any existing customers who change their appointments at the last minute over my booking, so when it comes to my cleaning date, they informed me they may not be able to fulfill my booking and may not get my house cleaned before the holidays, which by that time would mean it is late for me to book anyone else. I understand it is as busy time of year, but appointments should be first come, first serve. Further, I inquired about booking that date before I went ahead with it, and they only told me this AFTER I entered my VISA information into their portal. This is a terrible policy, and extremely poor service to leave people waiting to even confirm their booking until they cannot get any other help. I guess Mopify is not interested in new customers. Find someone else who will actually book your appointment hand have respect for your time and your confidential information.

If you are looking for an unreliable service that continuously cancels or moves appointments on you in Ottawa then you found the right company. The cleaners themselves are great and very professional when they actually come to conduct a service. I thought the first last minute cancellation (ie, the night before) was due to the ever changing Covid situation but then it happened again and again and again. I believe out of 9 or 10 scheduled services only 2 or 3 happened on the original scheduled day. I don't think you can blame Covid for this situation as we have now been dealing with Covid for over a year. One suggestion I do have is if you are going to cancel an appointment do it ASAP and not the night before every time so the customer does not take a half day off for every service.

There are no words that can adequately describe the service that Mopify offers. I could use AMAZING, FANTASTIC, WONDERFUL, SPLENDID, AWESOME and it still wouldn't describe well enough how great this company is! I struggle with a lot of health issues and disabilities and these folks are just so absolutely incredible! They are flexible and the cleaners are very professional. At one point, I was in severe pain and had trouble walking. My cleaner had arrived and it took me about 25 minutes to get around to the door and let her in and she waited patiently for me. Not only that, she had also contacted head office to let them know that there was a potential problem because I wasn't answering my phone and the door. Head office did what they had to: they called, they texted and they sent an email to see if everything was OK. They went above and beyond the call of duty and I am so very grateful for their kindness and compassion. It's a joy and a privilege to know and do business with both the cleaners and the administration. The fact that everything is managed online through a "dashboard" makes the scheduling, cancelling and rescheduling of the appointments so much more easier. I highly recommend this company and their cleaners! My experience with Mopify has been up and down. Awesome cleaners and not so great cleaners. However, I keep coming back because it’s easy, there are often decent discounts and the customer service is generally pretty good when something goes awry. I do have some concerns over their training of staff (not everyone on their list has 2 years of experience cleaning as suggested by their policy and I’m not sure if training is an option), but most of my cleaners state that they’re content with how they are treated by the company.

It was a big step for me to start using a cleaning service but Mopify is affordable and makes it easy — the dashboard allows me to log in and specify preferences or reschedule as needed, I can provide my own cleaning materials (so I don't come home to weird chemical smells I don't like) and have been able to stick with the same person for a few months now. The only way the service could be better is if they'd send text message reminders the way other businesses do (e.g. my dentist, aesthetician) with 48 hours' notice so that you still have time to cancel or reschedule while respecting the requisite 24 hours' notice. The company does send emails but I regularly drown in email so never see them until 3 days later.

I booked for a move-out cleaning, and my roommate, who was present for the appointment, notified the cleaner of this as well. Nevertheless, we found that it was more akin to a monthly clean - it was certainly not up to the standards that I would expect for a deep clean. I anticipated very little dirt or dust, marks, or stains. I was unpleasantly surprised to see that some baseboards and air returns were dusty, as were some of the furniture pieces that we asked to be dusted. There was dirt and grit on the front carpet (visible), and throughout the rest of the place. The stainless steel refrigerator was streaked as though someone had very hastily used the stainless steel cleaner rather than taken their time. All in all, this has been a very disappointing experience. I had hoped to book your services for our new place on a twice a month basis, but after this experience, I will have to look elsewhere.

All you need to do is write down your cleaning requests, and they take care of it. I highly recommend against using Mopify. Cleaners come late often and if you can only make the time frame you agreed on the will still charge your credit card. Good luck get a hold of anyone on the phone when there is an issue. in response to the reply; I booked an appointment and in fact I was able to let my cleaner in during the time we agreed the appointment to be. Also my appointment was August 13, 2019. Not 14th, It is clear you keep extremely inaccurate track of dates and times. This was not my third lockout. You guys really need to keep more accurate records. I have the text on my phone of what time was agreed on and when in fact the cleaner got there. none of those text match your dates and times.. Also I have called the office and requested a phone call via email. I did not receive any calls. I am also disappointed in the communication from customer service .

I inquired about getting a "move-in" cleaning here in Vancouver and Mopify refused the service. Said no "move-in" cleanings for October and November in all of Vancouver. Crazy they turn away a first time customer who would have booked them 12-20 more times in the next year. They seem short sighted. It's an empty apartment that need a minor clean. Seems like their marketing team has money to burn. No empathy from customer support either.

Avoid this company at all costs!! We had been using Modify for a few months to clean our 1 bedroom apartment in Vancouver. The cleaners and service had been good up until last week, when the cleaner failed to clean the apartment. The floors had not been mopped or vacuumed. the kitchen counters were not wiped down. Underneath the bed, which we had specifically asked to be cleaned, was not cleaned. I reached out to Mopify Vancouver expressing my concerns that the condo was not cleaned to the standards expressly advertised on their website in anticipation that they would apologize for the paid service not being rendered and send a different cleaner immediately to remedy the situation and clean the apartment. This did not occur. They did not offer us a refund. Do not use this cleaning company. The customer service is horrible and the cleaning itself is terrible.

Response to owner comment: I gave one star because, while I had two very good appointments, when trying to book again I was first told I was booking too far in advance, then was told it was too close to the date and everything was booked up. When I asked how could anyone get an appt, I was informed that regular customers fill up the spots available (even though this company advertised itself as an ad-hoc cleaning service without the need for a regular appt). So, finally, I decided I would set up regular appointments, and was informed that there is no one available to clean my house, ever. Either I'm blacklisted for some reason, which I doubt since like I said, I had two great experiences, or you don't know how to manage clients because i keep trying to give you my money and can't manage to. In conclusion, if you can get someone out to your place they will do a fantastic job, but good luck making an appointment.

If you’re looking for affordable and quick cleaning, this is your company - you get what you pay for. And, as appealing as the rates and booking practicality is, definitely not a fair level of service. I was hesitant to review them because I know it’s not the cleaner’s fault - it’s obvious there was a lack of training. When I arrived, the bathrooms were not spotless as they should be after a cleaning - instead there were streaks on the glass doors and mirrors.. toilets were not even wiped down. I left an array of cleaning supplies including wet/dry swiffers for hardwood, paper towels etc. Yet, cleaner grabbed a brand new designer face towel to wipe everything down... and then used an outdoor dust broom in the main bedroom where she chipped a glass nightstand. Not too upset about the damage because it was for a staging - would’ve been nice she owned up to it and I would’ve probably not even mentioned it. Will not be using them again.

Pros: Cleaner was upbeat and agreeable. Waived cancellation fee (for erroneously booked times) Prompt communication by the admin. Cons: Twice booked me at a time that was earlier than what I said I was available at (I was picking keys up to apt at 5 and they booked me for 4:30). On the re-booking I had not confirmed the erroneous time and yet I was automatically booked! I asked that kitchen and bathroom be the focus for the three hours and anything else that there was time for. Cleaner and I looked at place together before-hand and these areas looked pretty clean already. However, upon closer inspection a few days later, both shower and tub had grime on the floor and wall. The kitchen faucet head and shower-heads all had grime which left me not only cleaning them myself but also wondering what she spent the three hours on. The stove was a mess when I moved it and had to sweep and scrub along with the cabinets above. When I inquired about what was actually cleaned during the three hours (also so that I wouldn't double-clean areas and focus on new ones, I didn't get a response). Lastly, there was a crack in the trim of the bottom shelf of the fridge that she showed me at the beginning of the shift but now it is completely broken. I tried this service b/c of the majority of good reviews but given the mishaps on several levels I will sadly not being using again or recommending.

Please save your time, money, and mental state and NEVER USE MOPIFY! Don't be fooled by the positive reviews because they are all obviously fake! The company is a complete scam and are just trying to waste your time. I have been trying to arrange their housekeeping services for about 5 weeks now and nobody has came to our house to perform the service that I signed up for. They have rescheduled so many times and at last minute too. I understand if cleaners call in sick but this has happened way to many times so I wonder if this business is actually a business at all? It seems like they are incredibly understaffed and the cleaners aren't available to do their job. Another extremely problematic aspect to Mopify is that they send out their "apology" for not being able to perform their duty a couple hours before the scheduled appointment. This is not only extremely unprofessional but gives the user almost no time to arrange for other arrangements. That alone should show how much they care about their users and I know even if someone did show up the level of service I would receive for the cleaning will be sub-par as well. In conclusion, avoid this scam of a company and look for better options out there. I doubt this company will still be running in the next couple years if they keep this level of "service" up.

I gotta say I wouldnt even book them back. my house is cleaned top to bottom every sunday but i had surgery and couldnt do it so i booked for over 3 hours of cleaning and when i came home from work i couldnt tell the difference.. i had to ask hubby if they had showed up.. dust bunnies in the corners and the floors not mopped or vaccumed as they "ran out of time" I know my house does not take that long... they offered me an hour credit with 2.5 hr min booking.. The cleaning must have been on slow motion the entire time she was here.. very unfortunate

I tried Mopify because of the good reviews. I signed up and was very pleased with the speed and efficiency of response of administrative staff who arranged my first cleaning. However, my first cleaning was sub-standard. I had 4 hours arranged for my weekly clean (which is what I have normally), and the cleaner was finished in 2 1/2; however, areas of my home were missed, streaks were on the stainless steel appliances and all mirrors and taps/faucets, etc. I passed along feedback to the company (who again was very responsive) and wanted to work with the cleaner who was pleasant enough; however, the cleaner cancelled the second clean. While the company offered to look or someone else to come in, part of what I had explained I was looking for was the same cleaner who was reliable (understanding sickness and holidays do occur). However, given that the first clean was unsatisfactory and the second appt. by the same cleaner was cancelled, I thought that the company did not live up to what it promised.

You're only charged for the actual hours worked, which in the case of my little apartment was 1.25 hours less than the initial estimate. The actual physical cleaning part was surprisingly good too. Texted the morning of our appointment (an appointment made over a week earlier) to say that the scheduled cleaner had called in sick. This is for a rental property cleaning prior to a new tenant coming in the next day. First left it up to my wife to find a solution (new time, supply our own cleaning products, find them parking downtown core, etc). Extremely poor service for our recent move-out clean. Charged for four hours and nearly nothing was done. The attached photos are the “after” pictures and they are the same as any “before” pictures we might have taken. There is no satisfaction guarantee for move-out cleanings, so Mopify won’t do anything to address this atrocious job. All the room walls were dirty. All around the fridge and cooking range was dirty. Garage and unfinished basement they said is not included so that was not even looked at so not exactly sure what was the 5.5 hours was for.

Customer service tries to help, and are quick to respond to your queries. Had mixed opinions on the cleaners I received except one stellar employee. The primary issue I have is the confusing nature of their system. 1.) leaving tips is not clearly marked and could not even tip the first two cleaners because it was difficult to find (it’s in tiny letters blended into the bottom of your invoice email) 2.) I now feel like I tipped the cleaner who did the worst job out of the bunch and guilty I couldn’t offer credit where it was due to the ones that made my house sparkle and shine. 3.) leaving feedback and comments for cleaners leads to anxiety and the application of a filter, because I don’t want someone I had negative feedback for being sour and letting them into my home again 4.) on the feedback form there are 3 options - this is what occurred when I selected them “I was satisfied with my cleaner “ - choosing this was good, but the cleaner I was merely satisfied with got booked again for the next cleaning. “I was extremely satisfied and I want the cleaner back next time!” - selecting this will NOT have the cleaner re-booked. “I was unhappy with the service, send me someone different next time” - I have not selected this one yet because I didn’t realize by comparison to the newer cleaners that my first cleaning was sub par. It’s nice they have good customer service but I just felt like my experience could have been way better if your system was clear. Still considering whether I want to continue or just find an alternative cleaning solution regularly.

Scheduling has been very inconvenient and unreliable. I was unable to secure a cleaner for a number of weeks, there seemed to be no one available and atleast 2 cleanings were cancelled. I finally secured a cleaner who is great, and despite my regularity being "biweekly" on the Mopify dashboard I was scheduled for the week immediatly following the first cleaning. I wanted to keep the cleaning pro we got for the first cleaning so now I have to wait 2 more weeks for the scheduling to sync up again. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from now on.

Horrible first experience! I was hoping to have my house cleaned before going on vacation and figured I would try this out with the intent of continuing this service longer but I certainly will not be. I’m really not sure what the cleaner did for 3.5 hours! I live in a townhouse that I myself keep tidy and organized. Was looking for a time saver to have someone come and tidy up. So many things that are not cleaned. One of three toilets were cleaned, two not cleaned, not even touch as though a little effort was made. Nothing. Kitchen stools were clearly not moved to vacuum under. Sink in one bathroom not touched, still unclean. Front hall tiles not fully mopped. And the cherry on top was that my door was left unlocked after the cleaner left. I most certainly do not have a dirty house that needed a lot of TLC and pride myself on how clean my house is normally, so I’m not quite sure what went wrong here with the cleaner! VERY disappointed with what I was hoping to be a great experience.

I had my apartment cleaned for move-out by Mopfiy on April 18. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the result. On top of arriving 30 minutes late, many things were not cleaned including: the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, laundry room (machines, door vents not vacuumed, floor not cleaned), etc. When I brought this to their attention, I was simply told that they don't guarantee satisfaction for a move-out, and I can send them pictures "to look into this situation further." Very disappointed as this ended up being a waste of time, effort, and money, will absolutely use another cleaner next time.

We scheduled a move-out cleaning and Mopify notified us 24 hours prior to our move-out that they couldn't find a cleaner. I'm spending the day calling all cleaners trying to book another. Mopify is highly unprofessional and inconsiderate. They should notify you at least a few days prior to your cleaning, so you have ample time for a Plan B. Very unimpressed. I do not recommend them and will never use them.

The booking process was easy but that was the only positive of our experience. We booked for 6.5 hours to clean what they could of our completely empty house. We were left disappointed in the service we received. 3 hours was spent on the kitchen. The kitchen drawers and cupboards were supposed to be one of the main focuses of cleaning and had to be recleaned by me. The floors were supposed to be cleaned with a floor cleaner that we provided but only water was used. I had to clean the floors for a second time. Dusting in the corner of walls was also done quickly or not done at all. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The majority of areas cleaned by modify had to to be recleaned by us which completely defeat the purpose of getting a cleaner. Save your money and book with someone else.

Appears prompt reply to review was hollow response in public domain. ** Frustrating We attempted 5 times to book a cleaning. On the first try they showed up but only after having to cancel day of, and then reschedule. Cleaning was good and initially we were very impressed (first time receiving that luxury). The cleaner did a lot of superficial things well like made beds and organized our daughter's stuffed animals. We gave a glowing review. Then the next day we noticed lots of little details missed around main fixtures. A few months later we tried it again as we had a discount code so we figured we'd give them a second shot. Well, we scheduled the cleaning and didn't hear back for a week. Then they emailed and said they couldn't find anyone so they cancelled the job. This was disappointing but understandable so we tried again a few weeks later. Appointment was booked almost immediately. Day of the clearning we received a text, our cleaner was sick and couldn't make it (flashback to our first experience) but we were assured this was a fluke! So rare that this happens. People get sick but wow, 2 for 2 on this 'rare' experience. So we rescheduled for Monday (we kind of got excited to have the house cleaned). Well, today is Monday and I should buy a lottery ticket because guess what? Sick again! Day of our cleaning, a text, your cleaner is sick, let us know if you want to reschedule and we can't find a replacement for today. Really? If it's so rare, maybe move someone around to our place or god forbid, the company decides to offer some sort of further discount for all of the disruption. I mean they ask you to get all the supplies ready and put them in an open area for the cleaner. We've done this 2 times in the last week! It's disruptive. But no, just whatever, sorry for the bad luck. We're done with Mopify and my 1 star rating was easy to come up with. It reflects the number of times they could actually be bothered to come to our house, out of the number of times we attempted to use the service.

I paid for 3.75 hour cleaning and all that was done was 3 toilets cleaned and 2 bedroom + basement vacuumed. That’s it. No surface was dusted. No floor was vacuumed or mopped. The kitchen wasn’t cleaned. One bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all. Look at pictures to judge by yourself. All they offered as compensation is 2 hours of work. Their garantee doesn’t cover more than 2 hours. So basically I paid for 3.75 hours of work, the work actually done was worth no more than 45 minutes max, and I will get 2 additional hour. So there is basically one hour/27$ paid for absolutely nothing. They are supposed to come back this Thursday for « touch-ups », but to be honest I seriously doubt that they can make things right in just 2 hours. I wonder what’s wrong with companies these days and why it is so hard to receive the service you actually pay for. Here’s a word for all companies out there: us, customers are your bread and butter. If there is no us, you don’t exist. Please have more appreciation and respect. ** Update** While I appreciate the owner’s response to this review, I would like to provide some clarifications: when he is saying: "our customer care team is sending someone back at no charge to fix the deficiencies listed. Again, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with us but rest assured we're committed to making things right." What he actually means is that their guarantee only covers 2 hours of work, no matter how many hours you were charged for in the beginning, no matter the actual number of work hours done. Four days after the first "cleaning", they sent another cleaner for a 2-hour “touch-up”. Unfortunately that wasn't enough to clean my house properly. Very disappointing experience. What looks like being a very convenient and well managed service ended-up causing me nothing but frustration and time wasting.

Great company with a great staff! Very good pricing and communication. I definitely recommend Mopify. You can try as many different cleaners as you want until you find the one that suits you best. You can let the company know which days and times work best for you and they will try to fit your schedule. A few times the cleaner had to cancel last-minute but the company immediately tried to find a replacement. You can also reschedule for another day. It’s easy to give the cleaner special instructions. A great thing about Mopify is you choose how many hours you’re willing to pay for and if you want, you can select that the cleaner can spend another 30+ minutes on cleaning if necessary. So you always know how much you’re not going to pay.

Mopify is great.... When they show up. I'm changing my rating from a 5 star to a 1 star. I'd give them even less if I could. This is the third time my pre-booked cleaning was cancelled with literally zero notice. Cleaner was booked at 8:30am, I found out around 9am they weren't coming only after *I* texted Mopify. No one even bothered to let me know before that or to reach out and assist me with rebooking a new cleaner. This company charges $33/hour - for such a poor customer service and zero reliability, it's NOT worth your money. A private cleaner from Kijiji will do a better job and actually care about showing up to the booking.

Well, how do I start... I always do some research when I need to know about the services provided by companies. I've read everything about the services on the Mopify website and it seemed they provided a really good services. Then, again on their website, I checked what areas they could come and clean the houses. Then I read their Terms and Conditions, different reviews, etc., so I spent quite a lot of time. So I've created an account with all the information needed and when I logged in to their dashboard, there was a message that my area is outside of their territory, even though their map on their website showed my city. I asked their representative on the website chat messaging why they misinform the customers, and they only could say they were sorry for any inconvenience. So asked them to remove my account. But that was not it. I received an email that I needed to complete some steps to assign a cleaner, I replied with my concerns and they replied me back that, unfortunately, they don't clean in my area. And then two days later I received another similar email again to complete my steps. Seriously? Anyway... Suggestion: seems they do a good job by cleaning (by other reviews), but before getting an account do contact them through their chat system and confirm that they cover your particular area

It all depends on which cleaner you probably get, but unfortunately we didn't get one that was able to clean an empty house for a move out in 5 hours. If I had to do it, I definitely would have finished it. The house was already pretty clean -- she took about 2 hours cleaning the oven that wasn't even that bad. She did a detailed job cleaning it though...just wished she moved faster basically. In 5 hours, she got 1.75 bathrooms, the kitchen cabinets, the oven, an already pretty clean refrigerator, and a freezer done, that's it.

Tried to use Mopify for a move-out clean as there are no shortage of great reviews, but unfortunately my experience was entirely the opposite. My initial appointment was cancelled 45 min. before the scheduled time, and the next three attempts to reschedule someone over the following days were also met with cancellations. Additionally, communication from the service team was very delayed, making it impossible to know if I had to seek out other arrangements. Overall, very disappointed with the experience. I'm sure the cleaning service itself would be great if they could've gotten over the hurdle of actually getting a cleaner scheduled.

Our experience has been good until after months of cleaning, we broke a "rule" in referring a neighbor to Mopify who was renting our home for a month in January. When I asked a "customer service" rep if we could still get our lousy 20 bucks in referral discount, even though the neighbor wasnt provided with the magical referral code, the answere was a firm no. The address that was cleaned was an address in your files. What? We are a long term customer and you wont part with $20 to keep us as a customer? Give your marketing heads a shake. We will never use you again, and all over a $20 bill? WOW!! I should also add that that last cleaning was marginal at best. We hired a real cleaner immediately after the neighbors moved out.

I highly recommend this company.... if you want to have your appointment cancelled 1.5h before. We initially contacted this company in regards to our 2 properties. We were surprised when they told us they had no availabilities for one of them even tho we contacted them 2 weeks in advance. It was unusual that a cleaning company did not have availabilities for 2 weeks in advance but still decided to try them with our other property. That was a BIG mistake. We received a text message an hour and a half before our appointment stating that they had to cancel!! We have tenants which take possession of the house in 6h and suddenly we have no cleaners. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I highly suggest you to stay away from them unless you dont mind having your appointment cancelled 1.5h in advance. There are much better and more reliable cleaning companies out there!!

Used the Mopify service for the first time a few weeks ago. Easy interface for booking, provides you with time/price estimates which is helpful for a first-time user. The girl arrived on time and was very sweet. I showed her the areas I most needed cleaned and left for work. I received a text saying that the cleaning was done, but when I arrived home, there were a number of things that were not completed. Bathroom floor was not mopped, dirt/sand left on kitchen floor and in front hall, and kitchen cupboards not wiped down. These were all things that were on Mopify's description of each room clean. When I contacted the company, they agreed that the things missing were something I "should expect from a professional cleaning" and they would use this as a teaching opportunity. I'm really glad you can use this as a teachable moment, but my house is still dirty. I replied asking what compensation they were going to offer since they have now agreed that I did not get the proper cleaning that I paid for, and instead of offering to send someone by to finish the job, or refund a portion of my fee, they offered me a big $15 coupon off of my next cleaning. I wasn't happy with the first cleaning, but would have absolutely been open to continuing in the future had the situation been properly rectified, but I am certainly not going to pay twice (minus a generous 10% off my second service) to have the job done right. In short, would have given a 3-star for the cleaning but have dropped to a 1-star in my books for the lack of customer service. I would not recommend this company to friends or family.

Mopify sends you a notification via text the day before your appointment to confirm the timing and who will be sent. Furthermore, while you can book cleaners for a certain amount of time, if they end up using less than that time, you only get billed for the period spent cleaning. Cleaners sent to my service requests (including a 2nd one which I also fully paid for) were subpar. Cleaning speed was half my wife’s speed, and omitted spots where I clearly marked with markers (photos of two spots among several obvious spots attached). You probably may use their service, but make sure you stay with the cleaner to supervise the work. PS: My wife’s account with Mopify was used so they couldn’t find my info. Now that they’ve replied, I will follow up with them in a few days. Upped from 1 star to 2 stars. They offered $20 credit for their so-called “Satisfaction Guarantee”. My 1st service was 6 hrs vis a vis their recommended 4.75hrs. Then because of the cleaner missing a lot of items, I further ordered a 2nd cleaning of 2.5 hrs, and still 4 to 5 marked items were missed. PS: Downgraded back to 1-star because I think $20 credit as their satisfaction guarantee response is really pathetic. Updated May 2021: added payment receipt.

I find the quality of the cleaners is really hit and miss. I've used Mopify about 4 times and was only satisfied once. With my last cleaning, the floors were very dirty still after the cleaning, the tub wasn't cleaned, stainless steel appliances were streaky, etc. I notified Mopify of my issues and they offered me 1 hour of free cleaning. In my mind, this isn't sufficient for the issues, even after I sent them a picture of a kleenex I used to test the cleanliness of the floors.

The service is easy to book, and the interface looks pretty. I've had mixed experiences in the past - some ok cleaners, some very good. Recently, I booked a five hour cleaning when I was out of town - plenty of time for my townhouse. When I got home two days after the cleaning, there was an extensive list of deficiencies, that quickly got to work and cleaned myself since I was expecting guests first thing in the morning and didn't have time to file a complaint and have someone come back to re-clean. When I say deficiencies, I mean there were crumbs on the counter, she swept and mopped AROUND a waste basket and table legs, there was hair in the shower, the mirrors weren't cleaned, and the pillows on the beds weren't even straightened. I'm not just being picky - for five hours of paid work, it was a terrible job. Just by virtue of being out of town for the week, I was outside of their 24 hour "complaint" window, so I left it and chalked it up to a bad bounce. But the other day I came across the request for feedback in my email - 11 days after my initial cleaning, to be exact - and provided a star rating and comments as directed. I went from mildly irritated with a poor cleaning, to flat out angry after dealing with their customer service people - I will never hire Mopify again based on my email exchange that resulted their request for feedback. The prices are reasonable but it's not worth the roll-the-dice luck with the cleaners, and the terrible customer service if something does go wrong. Find someone else.

At first we were getting a lot of turn over with cleaning persons which wasn't very fun because you have to restart the process of explaining everything and it always takes more time to clean the house when you're not use to it. Although we've had a cleaning lady pretty steadily for the past few months that and it's great. I like that you can just text them if you have any questions or problems with an appointment. The automatic ‘online’ booking system is neither automatic or online and frequently doesn’t honour the appointment requests.
