I’ve used maids in pink a couple times, which no major issues, however this last experience was so disappointing and they weren’t willing to rectify it with me, so I want to make sure that others don’t have the same experience as me. Be warned, this company has bad communication between the cleaners and the customers. And bad customer service. We asked for a deep clean as we moved in to our place about 6 weeks ago. When discussing over the phone what our intentions were, they decided it was a “move-in” clean without any discussion and charged us an 40 extra dollars just for that. When the cleaners showed up (unannounced, as they changed the time they showed up without any notice), they were under the impression they were doing a move-out clean. After several other times being asked if we were moving out (clearly a miscommunication), they still charged us for a move-out/“move-in” clean… if you could even call it that. We also decided one of the bedrooms that wasn’t unpacked was off limits, still no adjusting to price. There’s no commutation about how long and how many cleaners there are to the head office and no communication about what is being done and what should actually be charged for. Will not be using this company in the future. If they were willing to work with us on price and put effort into us trying to have a conversation with them, this would be a different story. Really disappointed with the customer service.

I had inquired with this company about specifics needing to be cleaned both pre and post quote to ensure this was the company I wished to work with. There were issues right off the bat, times being changed several times with minimal notice (no asking just telling), pushing on extra charges immediately. Possibly tried to access the whole house despite being told several time it was 2 separate units in the house. Made disrespectful comments and tried to charge double. Called me with only 10-15 mins demanding I get there for a walk through- made it in 10 with no one there and the place messier then before. I had given 5 specific cleaning tasks to be done and not a single one was completed. No accountability nor professionalism when it came to resolving the issue. Instead they said (after 3 days of disputes) they would send someone to do an hour clean to "fix" it or give a $50 refund... the services was several HUNDRED dollars not $50.00. The cleaners left rags everywhere, massive dirt piles in the corners, threw random things in baskets with lids off which resulted in liquids spilling all over everything in the baskets, and used my cleaning supplies instead of their own. Garbage was left, items were shoved in corners. Their excuse was that they clean from "top to bottom" but when I looked at the higher shelves, tops of furniture etc, it was not even touched. They claimed they moved things to clean underneath but they didnt move anything nor did they clean behind items either. I sent them photos of before the clean and after and expressed my concerns and still they told me my place was an "extreme condition" - are you kidding me? My family and I spent hours cleaning before they came to ensure they focused on what they were supposed to. Apparently they did 8 hours of cleaning, however only thing i noticed was the floor (except for under and behind furniture and in corners) was clean, the table cloth was put on the kitchen table and blankets were folded on the couch. Please explain how that is 8 hours of cleaning. Also the cleaners had no problem taking the tip and the person I spoke to on the phone and text admitted their service was not what was agreed upon but then later placed all the blame on me as a customer.

A friend recommended Maids in Pink to help clean our two Airbnb suites when we are not able to, and we recently used their services while we were out of town for two weeks. All the cleans were done on time, to a high standard (we continued to receive 5-star reviews for cleanliness from all our guests), and for a good price. We booked a move-in clean for a fairly clean townhouse with Maids in Pink because they quoted half the price of the competition - 2 cleaners for 2 hours at $250+tax. We wanted that wow factor while moving into our first home. When they showed up there were 3 cleaners, and we were told they would definitely need the extra help, raising the price by 50%. When they left, there was still obvious dust, dirt, and hair in multiple rooms. It didn't look or smell like they had cleaned at all. I called to ask what could be done, and was offered a $50 credit on a bill of over $300, or the cleaners would come back to make it right. Asking for them to come back, they showed up for an additional 20 minutes, and while there, the dispatcher called them in front of us and complained that we were problem customers. Maids in Pink offered no solutions to this poor service, and no willingness to make things right. I will never use this service again, and I suggest you don't either.

Very pleased with the job done by the ladies. They are very polite, punctual, organized, efficient and they bring all of their own supplies. What I liked as a woman is that most of their equipment was pink :) I have used their move-out cleaning services for the past three places I have moved out of and have been overwhelmed with the quality of the clean. My landlords, they were very happy when it came time to do the move out the walkthrough, I got my full deposit back. The carpets were immaculate, and the appliances looked like they were brand new. The communication with the office was pleasant for me as well, the lady was very nice and professional. She educated us about the products the cleaner use and the time the carpet needs to dry. Unprofessional. I hired them to clean my airbnb suite and the woman I talked to was bossy and rude - repeatedly telling me to charge my guests if they stayed a minute past check out. After going back and forth regarding the guests checking out I assured her that they would be out by 11. After they cleaned I didn't have an opportunity to check the suite so I asked the guests opinion of the cleanliness of the suite. They said that the floors had not been cleaned as well as the bathroom and they wouldn't suggest hiring the company again. This lead me to get a 1 star and very bad review for my suite. When I informed them of what the guest said they got extremely defensive and rude and did not try to rectify the situation what so ever. I can't testify as to how well the actual job was done as I didn't see it myself, but I can say that service is poor and it led to me getting a very bad review.

We hired 1 person for a 3 hours clean. The cleaner arrived late, and then said she was going to get coffee. She came back 15 minutes later. It was an empty house so we left to run errands and got a call from the office that they will need extra time to complete the job. We got back to the property an hour later and she has only wiped the kitchen drawers. We stayed at the property for the remaining 2 hours and she got so much more done.

I hired this company for a last minute clean they said they had to charge me more as it was less then 24 hours notice which was no problem except the two cleaners who came were not very professional. They dumped a large bowl of water we leave for our pets all over the carpet and didn't tell us nor did they do a very good job cleaning it up. But worse was they left our gas stovetop on and when I got home the house reeked of gas! I was so upset not only could they have killed my pets but our house could have blown up! I let them know and they just sausaid ey were sorry they didn't know how that happened. I would strongly recommend a more reputable company, I did my research and now have a reputable company who comes with fully bonded and insured cleaners who are responsible with a cleaning guarantee and I couldn't be happier. Do you research but whatever you do don't use Maids in Pink.

Did not complete tasks! Started late and left early! the house was vacant, I required kitchen, bath and cupboards done at minimum. I was billed 8 hours. Missed freezer, all cupboards and the medicine chest. When I asked them to finish job I first requested, I was told I would be billed 2 more hours! Find another cleaning company.

I don't want to put my emotions into this company review because I don't want people to misunderstand my review. I just tell my experience for someone to consider hiring here. I made a reservation on June 22 to move out cleaning at the end of June 10:00am to move out at 2:30 of the same day. On the 29th at 9:30pm, the Company sent a message to ask about sending cleaners at 2pm. I saw that message at 10:30pm because I worked until then. I sent "no" because my move out check was at 2:30pm. They didn't reply. At the end of June, I woke up at 3am then I started to move out. At 9am the company sent a message again. " We can't send cleaners because your cleaners have been vaccinated and got days off, also our 5 cleaner's have been no show because of hot weather. So I asked the lease company about the delay for the move out check. Then they put me in at 4:30 pm and then put me in 6:30pm again. Thanks for their kindness. So I said to this company that cleaners can show up at around 2pm. After 2pm, They didn't show up. Cleaning company called me again after 2pm. Cleaners are still in other places for cleaning up now that they will show up at 3pm. There was no one at 3pm. Cleaning companies send a message, "Cleaners on the way." Then at 3:30pm, the company sent a message to me cleaner's are in my place. They park a car at the garage door. There is no garage in my place because it is an underground parkable Condo... Finally the cleaner showed up at 4:30pm and started cleaning up. At 6:30pm, I went to my place to check with the leasing agent. Then the agent declined my move out. Because Cleaners didn't clean it up. They had a Financial conflict with their company, then they stop the cleaning, "The kitchen is done but our agent found the stove oven door still dirty , sticky, the tiles behind still dirty , hood fan still greased, blind was very dusty. the window frame needs wiping,cleaning is not ok." This is what I got from my leasing agent. After that happened, I asked the cleaners to leave my place because they refused to finish cleaning it up. Then cleaners are denied till they get money from a cleaning company. Also I asked if the cleaner would give me back my guest parking pass back then I would not care about whether they stay in my place or not. But they denied. So I called the police and talked to the cleaning company about what is happening in my place now. Then the cleaning company gave money to the cleaners and the leave. So I talked with the company about how they will fix this. Because I need to schedule a move out check for the next day with payment. Also I couldn't go to work on Canada day with holiday pay. Then this Maid in pink offered me a free cleaning(They call this Free cleaning) and 50% of the next service haha. I told them that's no make sense at all. Then they promise they will come to my place to clean it up on the next day and will finish cleaning up then discuss the compensation. Also they promised to call me back for a composition after cleaning it up. They came to clean it up on Canada day and cleaned up. However, they never called me until I called them. Instead, They sent me a guest-satisfied research email. So I called them back on July 5th and I got a phone call right now on July 6th. They denied compensation. Because that was just bad luck and they finished cleaning it up, so they don't need to compensate for what happened because of this. So this is my experience with these guys. I Hope it can help you guys to choose the company. Thank you for taking a long text.

Very unimpressed. Got a $325 top to bottom clean and came home to piles of dirt and sticky spots on the stove. They dusted nothing as far as I can tell. Do not waste your money here. I will amend this review if the company makes an attempt at rectifying this issue. *Update* I have added one star as the company responded quickly and (eventually) sent out a maid to finish the job. Unfortunately we were still unimpressed with the quality of the clean. I guess I got used to higher standards with my last maid company.

Extremely disappointing experience. Left me in tears multiple times throughout the day. I would like to highlight that all of the CLEANERS themselves were very polite, and came back to fix what had been missed the first time with no complaint. My issue lies with the organization of bookings and the company. The individual that organized/coordinated my clean had no respect for my time, and minimal willingness to help me resolve problems in a mutually agreeable way. I had called Maids in Pink to request a quote for a move-in clean on for Wednesday July 7. The lady on the phone asked me questions about the size of my house, and emailed me a quote for a 4-hour clean, with 2 cleaners. I want to specify I did ask for a move-in clean, which she then clarified with me over the phone in the morning before the cleaning. She told me the company had availability to clean on Wednesday July 7. Original quote was sent with a time of 1:25PM. I received a text message shortly after asking me if the move could be changed to either July 6 or July 8. I told them no, as I had to work these days. She got back to me, and stated they had a cleaner that could come for 4PM-6PM on July 7. Perfect. I then made plans for my morning. On Tuesday at 4PM, I receive a text from the bookings lady. She now says the cleaner that was supposed to come is having vehicle problems and can't come. She tells me however that she can get a replacement for 930AM. I said that was okay, I would just have to re-adjust my plans and schedule again. I live in Cochrane, so it is about an hours drive from my current residence to the new home. The bookings lacy calls again 7PM on July 6 (night before clean) to ask me to spray my oven so it is easier for the cleaner to clean in the morning. I paid an extra $25 for oven cleaning (even though, it is supposed to be included in the move in package). I told her I couldn't, as I was an hour away. The next morning I arrive to my place at 930. Three cleaners arrived, even though my quote agreement was only for 2. I thought this was a little strange, but shrugged it off. About 30 minutes later, the bookings lady calls me and says that they are going to need more time to complete my clean - instead of 2 people at 2 hours it is going to take 3 people at 2 hours. I was upset, as this was not what I had been quote for/agreed to. I ended up paying an addition $95. I got back to the place at 1145. The cleaners were gone. I check, and there were still the same hairs in the bathroom drawers. The bathtub was completely dry, with the same fuzz and dust still present (looked like it hadn't even been wiped quick let alone cleaned). There were pubic hairs on the toilet. The floors had dust and fuzz on them. And the oven was clearly not cleaned. I texted the bookings lady pictures of the dirt. My fiance also called her because I was extremely frustrated with all the changes at this point. He requested a refund for services - she declined and stated they do not give refunds, however they will come fix the work later that day. She told me the maid was unable to clean the oven. I was told they would come back to fix the work at 4PM. Was then asked if they could come at 1:45PM. I said no, I had an appointment at 2. 4PM agreed upon again. Then I recieve ANOTHER text message asking if they can come at 1:45PM again. I said no, and ask for a 50% refund if they can't come at 4. I was declined. They ended up coming back at 4, and *surprise* the oven only took 10 minutes to clean. They fixed the dirty bathroom as well. I didn't bother asking them to re-vaccum as I just wanted to go home at this point. It's not worth the headache. I recommend spending a little bit more money on a different cleaning company for a better clean, transparency about pricing, and a bookings person that respects your time.

Unfortunately, while on the surface we were pleased with our cleaning - the has since deteriorated. We went through the website form and some follow up emails to outline the appropriate amount of time required for the clean. They arrive shortly after their expected time, a team of 3. They were scheduled for 2 hours and required further time - being that we had an event, we accepted the extra time. Although, surprised it was required and at one point noted that one of the cleaners was dusting the bonus room where we had not requested the clean (again, no complaints, I love a clean home) - After they left, everything looked great! until further looking, I noted that our stainless steel stove has scratches on it - of which, were not there prior to the cleaning. I reached out to the owner (I assume) to flag the issue. I had to follow up a number of times to get a resolution. I was assured that the cleaning teams are aware that microfiber cloths are the best for stainless. They also explained that the cleaner I had is highly sought after - all of which I agree - microfiber is the only thing that SHOULD be used on stainless and she really was fantastic - that said, here I sit with a scratched stove and a relatively expensive bill to foot - not including the repair to the stove. Proceed with caution.

I was sick and needed post construction cleaning done at the last minute so I was grateful that they had availability. Three people arrived - I told them I only wanted 4 man hours of cleaning and the priorities were downstairs bathroom, laundry room and main floor kitchen. They did a horrible job - didn’t even dust the washer or dryer, or the top of the garbage cans. When I contacted them to say I wasn’t happy, they said I should have told them while they were there. Did I mention that I was sick?! They were only there an hour but charged me an additional hour and wouldn’t reimburse me (they thought there were 4 cleaners but there were only 3). Stay away!

My mom had been taken to the hospital and I wanted to have her place deep cleaned so that she was coming back to a clean/ healthy place. She has a 1 bedroom apartment, super small, and I paid for a deep clean, extra for the window/ blinds, and bathroom. The company texted me and asked me to move my time to morning, I had to move stuff around with family to ensure someone was there for 8. Gave my daughter's number to text as I was working and didn't have access to my phone. Cleaner didn't arrive until 9, only a text to my phone. The company also asked (less than 12 hours prior to clean) to have a mop and vaccuum supplied. I couldn't guarantee this as it was not my place. Cleaner did not come prepared, asking for cleaning supplies and gloves. Had to pay for an extra hour and she still didn't get the place clean. Streaks on floor, window/ blinds not done, tables not even wiped down. This experience was bad to say the least and I would suggest anywhere else but this place. They didn't even have to touch the bedroom (they didn't) so for a bathroom, kitchen (super small) and small living room with very little furniture, 4 hours was way too much time for someone to spend there and not get the job done!
