Outstanding service. We have had our home cleaned regularly by Dust Queen for several years now. Their attention to detail and service is always excellent and their staff is so professional and friendly. We recently had our baby come 3 weeks early, and Dust Queen took care of absolutely everything for us before we got home from the hospital. Their staff even left a note on the nursery door welcoming our little boy. We were overwhelmed by their thoughtfulness. I would highly recommend them!

I used them in Dec and was NOT satisfied with the service. I had expected they would move small and light easy to move furniture and tables to thoughly clean behind, under and around them and pick up all the dust and dirt. I was later told they do not move furniture. As well I later noticed many corners and baseboards were missed and not cleaned. As for dusting will this too was poorly done. After paying over $400.00 expecting a good professional job, sadly my wife ended up cleaning up all the things missed. Overall this was not a professional cleaning job and I was very disappointed. Dust Queen did apologize and offered me a partial refund, which I appreciated. However I would not recommend Dust Queen and will not use them again.

(While we took the dogs to daycare so they wouldn't be in the way, our cats remained at home). I had Dust Queen come to my home this past Wednesday to do a full cleaning. They sent a team of 3 ladies who arrived on time within the two hour window I was given the day before. The ladies were polite, introduced themselves, and shook my hand upon arrival. One team member instructed the others what needed to be done and indicated specifics such as wiping down doors, tops of ledges, etc. They were very thorough and efficient and cleaned my 1200 sq. ft. condo from top to bottom in just over two hours (it wasn't really that dirty and its just me and my dog living here). Getting your house cleaned isn't cheap, but I felt for having 3 people here and the good job that they did, I received very good value for what I paid. As a senior who can't bend over and get down and clean toilets and showers like I used to, this is well worth it to have this team come once a month. I have been using Dust Queen for over a year now and I am very happy with the service. The teams they send out (men and women) are all very courteous and do a good job of cleaning my condo. I would highly recommend them.

Friendly, professional staff, from customer service to the actual cleaning technicians, who happened to be on time and very polite. Fast, albeit very thorough service: they were able to scrub stains off of pantry shelves that we had given up on a long time ago. No dilly dally (ie no cigarette breaks, phone calls other than the one from the office to confirm the original quote, etc.). Open to feedback, willing to help the employer. They worked around family needs. I appreciated the final tour of the house to double check with us that the job was up to our expectations, plus follow-up call from the office. We will definitely be using this company's services again.

Please forget about there service, they should be called dust movers, they don't use a vacuum cleaner, if you have a dog or cat they just don't care, they came back for a makeover and still the same idea. They don't pick up the dust they move it. Also found hair in the shower. It look like if a kid would tried to clean. They did not wash the kitchen sink or the bathrooms floors, found toothpaste that my kids dropped. They did not dust at all in the bedrooms and the beds were made like a teenager would. If you expect to be impressed, you will be about the bad service, don't expect high quality. For 2 hours they charged 153$, not worth the price at all.

My wife went away for a few weeks and I wanted to surprise her with a clean house on her return. I called Dust Queen to find out if it could be done. I had all the window and walls washed, they cleaned up the cupboards, and fridge. and the regular cleaning like dishes, made beds, mop, dust, etc. Anyways wife came home house was clean and I look like a hero. Thanks Dust Queen.

The customer service is just as bad as the cleaning quality. We hired them for a move in clean where they showed up late, rushed the cleaning, left our cupboards and kitchen sprayed with cleaner and not wiped up, and didn't even clean our floors which is part of the basic cleaning. We were charged more than our quote for a cleaning that was worth half the amount, and our card was charged before being sent an invoice. When we called to get part of our money back we were only offered a "make up" clean, which we had already done ourselves because our furniture was being moved in to the house. Gave one star, would ideally give them zero. Everything about their service was disappointing and I would not recommend using them. Save your money and time and go elsewhere, there are many better services in Edmonton.

I called and booked a move in/move out quote for a rental property in another city. I had given them my credit card number for deposit and was told I would be sent a full quote, I never received anything from the company via email. The day of the clean, they called to let me know they might take longer than expected and would still be there when my tenants movers were coming in, which initially I was very specific that they needed to be finished by, but I said that's fine no problem. Two days later they charged me $900!!! Without ever having been told an amount or seeing any sort of information or approving any costs. I called them immediately and they told me that by telling me it was going to take another couple hours, I should have known the cost and that was my 'authorization' to charge whatever the difference might be. I disputed this with them and they said they would call me back, which they never did. I have since called several times and never heard back from anyone. Do not book with this company.

Three girls arrived and worked for 1.5 hours. They were nice and seemed to work hard but missed dusting my office. When I checked the dusting in my dining room I noticed they had missed the top of a chest of drawers and my stacking tables, and the end table beside the living room chair. Definitely not worth the 299.00 .

I have a 900 square foot home, that is cleaned regularly and we have no pets. We decided to hire Dust Queen to give it a thorough clean and it cost almost $200 more than we were quoted. There were several spots where I could see they had dusted and missed areas. The blinds in the spare bedroom were damaged and there was no note or follow up call explaining what happened, or an apology. There were still spots on the mirrors and you could see they didn't go into the corners while cleaning the baseboards and toilets. The soap scum was not scrubbed off the counters around the sinks. I wasn't home when they came in, but the note said there were 3 people working in there. For that number of people in such a small space, and it costing $550, I was really disappointed in the level of service we received.

We booked a Move In/Move our service with Dust Queen at the end of last month. Not only did they show up an hour late, they then charged us hundreds of dollars extra without our approval for 'needing extra time due to things being in the unit'. The things in the unit were new tenants moving in, which they were made explicitly aware of during booking and had assured us they would be finished prior to. We have never once seen an invoice from them and have never been able to get a hold of a manager or have our calls returned. Absolutely horrible customer service and a complete rip off. We were charged almost $1000 for a mediocre clean after being quoted around $600. Please do not use this company.

For the past 3 years I have been mulling over the idea of hiring a cleaning service. My roommate and I are not slobs, but we prefer not to clean when we don't have to, so the house is in a constant state of "kind of messy". I've gotten quotes, searched websites, and entered draws for cleanings - to no avail. After seeing Dust Queen at the Renovation Show this year, I finally decided to take the plunge and hire them out. Booking the appointment was seamless and easy: I was asked several questions about my house, my availability, and some specifics of the cleaning. After that I was given a range of how long it would take, a price range, and was told that if for any reason the cleaners would take longer than the quoted time limit, I would be called before they proceeded. My roommate and I spent the night trying to make the house look presentable, as we had just finished renovating the bathroom and there was junk everywhere - though this was not required, or even asked of us. The day of, I received a phone call, as requested, when the cleaners arrived at my house. When I got home that night, the first thing that I noticed was that the shoes were neatly put away and the floor by the boot room was dust-free. YAY! The rest of the house had been dusted, and cleaned. The rugs had been vacuumed, and the dishes done. I am one happy lady! I didn't realize how much the mess had been stressing me out until I sat on the couch and realized that I didn't have anything to guilt me out of spending my night the way that I wanted to. The Dust Queen team always do a fantastic job cleaning our busy home where my husband and both work, we have 3 teenagers, a guineapig, a bird and a puppy! They are always friendly, punctual, considerate of us working, very thorough, the house always looks great, positively shines after they visit. One thing I recommend is to make sure you have tidied before they come, clear the countertops, pick up items lying around, put things where they belong so it is easy for them to reach everything you want cleaned and do a better job.I highly recommend Dust Queen!

I work for a Construction & Renovation Company and I was supposed to of had another cleaning crew come into to do a job for me. That cleaning crew bailed on me. I was in a scramble and I phoned Dust Queen and Talked to Summer one of the Dispatcher's/Cleaning Lady and she worked her magic for me and found 2 amazing Lady's to clean my clients house in such Short Notice. Sandra Lee and her Daughter went into the house and spent 10 man hours cleaning it for me. They phoned my and advised me when they got there that it wasn't upto there standard and that they would not leave until the Job was done to the Dust Queen Standard. They cleaned everything from top to bottom and even made up the girl's beds and one daughter has a Massive stuffed animal collection. They went and and arranged them for her like they were having a play party. The cleaned every square inch of this house and even took out the garbage's for my clients wife. They phoned me in the morning and told me everything that they did. I appreciated they telling me what they have done and keeping me advised. I absolutly love those 2(Sandra Lee and Her Daughter) they are the best. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. No matter who you talk to they are so polite and will do what they have to do to get your home cleaned and make the customer happy. Thanks you lady's. Before my first experience with the cleaning staff coming into my home, I went to the Dust Queen Head Office to provide them with my keys and my first payment since I was headed out of town. I was greeted by Ashley at the front desk who was very polite and professional. I explained my situation, that my mother and her very hairy dog had just moved out of my house and with my brown shag rug, I needed professional help to get my place back to normal. I felt confident in my decision when I left the office. One week later I arrived home from my vacation to find a lovely note thanking me for allowing them into my home to clean! Thanking me? OH WOW! I didn't even recognize my floors and carpet! I could almost see myself in my dark hardwood floor it was so clean and shiney, and my carpet looked brand new. Their cleaning solutions and equipment are top notch and environmentally friendly which I love! I have now been using them every couple of weeks and I will never allow another company into my home to clean again... Dust Queen is by far #1 and if I could give them 10 stars I would!

They did a thorough job. This is my first time using this service. I typically clean myself, but a full house wipe down (including wiping all baseboards, etc) is something I'm loathe to do and so kept putting it off. I've used cleaning services in the past, and they were not as thorough. I will definitely be using dust queen again.

Dust queen maid service offers a friendly, worry free and professional service. The team works hard to provide the most effective service available while maintaining our bi-weekly cleaning budget. The ladies who come to my house are friendly, kind to my dogs and work hard to ensure that I am greeted by a clean, fresh smelling, manicured home each time I come home. I have requested to have the same cleaners each week as they are just so awesome - they always go above and beyond to leave me a surprise, whether it be folding my laundry or making the spare bed. They quoted me 202.00 @ the high end for my clean and we were charged closer to 300.00. Dissatisfied with the clean, backspash in kitchen not cleaned, floors left with spots on them, glass railing left with marks and cupboards not wiped down. Many other cleaning companies available that are upfront and honest with their pricing and do a better job. The only positive thing I can say is that they did a good job vacuuming and the customer service team is friendly. Offered to reclean, I will opt to do it myself.

After more than a 5-yr hiatus from using these cleaners due to budget constraints, I recently booked a deep clean with them feeling confident that my previous experience with them would be repeated. I couldn't have been more wrong. I specifically booked a deep clean knowing that with 3 kids & 2 dogs & being more than a month since my home was thoroughly cleaned, it was in desperate need of a clean to bring it up to "Dust Queen's standards" (as per the website). I also scheduled monthly regular cleans to start thereafter. Although I felt the price to be significantly more than other local cleaners, I knew my previous experience with Dust Queen was far above any of the cheaper housecleaners I've used over the past 5 years so I was looking forward to having a much superior clean. However, the disappointment & anxiety the results of my recent clean have brought me are through the roof! I feel SICK TO MY STOMACH spending close to $1,000 to still have a filthy home. While a few areas were cleaned fairly well, the rest of my home looks like it was nearly untouched. In fact, for a home with 2300 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 half baths, 3 kids & 2 dogs...it should have taken the team of 2 cleaners more than 3.5 hours to do a DEEP CLEAN of my home. This is not my personal opinion but that of other cleaners in the industry & my past experience. Plus, the evidence speaks for itself. I have over 70 photos & 2 videos showcasing the poor clean completed by Dust Queen. And that doesn't include everything that is still filthy. I'm talking milk spots left on my floors, misc. spills left on my dining chair legs, table legs & various furniture throughout my home. Appliances left with splash marks or fingerprints. "High touch" surfaces that still have debris on them including door knobs, light switches & the areas around them. Urine remaining around the toilet on the floor & walls. Spots of bacteria (pink film) left in the showers & tubs - in fact, I attempted to clean/disinfect these areas after I discovered them & got them 100% cleaner. Marks left on my floors (dried on spots of play doh, spills, etc.). Numerous spots still remain on my walls that should have been "spot-cleaned". My fireplace was left dusty & the granite surround still had splash marks on it. There were portions of the floors that weren't vacuumed because debris was still left. My couch cushions also had debris under them when they should have been vacuumed underneath (& that is just part of the regular clean, let alone what should have been "deep cleaned"). On top of this & numerous other missed areas, one of the two half baths that I paid for was completely neglected & was still in the same state as when I left it. I could go on, but I think this paints a pretty good picture of the kind of quality you can expect from Dust Queen. Every team sent to someone's house to clean should be as competent as the next so there is no excuse for this kind of service. That being said, when I reached out to the company immediately after the cleaners left (I was not home for the clean but arrived just as they were leaving) to voice my concern over the state of my home, it was suggested to have them come back & address the areas. Unfortunately, I was incredibly stressed with the situation & did not have time that afternoon to go from room to room ensuring a proper clean was completed. I hired a professional company that should have employed properly trained individuals to do their job correctly & provide the service they were hired to do. I advised I would reach out when I was in a better head space to provide additional details & discuss my options in addition to the fact that I had only been able to assess the results on my main floor & assumed I would have more concerns based on my initial inspection. Once I reached out again via e-mail the following Monday, I was offered a discount of $70 (10% of my recent clean) for my next scheduled cleaning. And although requested, management never reached out to me. Not even a reimbursement for the half bath that wasn't touched

Not happy with this business at all. They called me to let me know they were on there way and were gonna be at my house in 20 minutes. 50 min or so goes by so I decided to call them and the guy told me that they haven’t left the south side yet. I then asked him why he lied to me saying he was on his way if he hasn’t even left yet. He then proceeded to tell me that they were stuck in traffic and that’s why they were late. So I told him that it his responsibility to let his client know if he is going to be late. He then told me it is not his job to let me know if he is going to be late. I disagreed. You can’t just assume that the client has no other things that they could’ve been doing while they were waiting. So they were an hour and a half late. Once they were done we went through everything but I was rushed through it all. They didn’t clean the microwave at all and didn’t wash my floors properly like they said they would but ended up cleaning 2 rooms and my staircase when I asked them NOT to... I however did not notice my floors or microwave until after because of how rushed I was with them. I called to complain the following day and the lady on the phone told me they can’t do anything except MAYBE go back and rewash those things for me. But I told her that I was moved out of that house and did not have keys to it anymore so they could not go back. She kept telling me they could do nothing but said the manager would call me the following day and never did even when I called to ask if he was going to. The manager Michael called me 2 days later and wasn’t willing to do anything for me at all and pretty much made it seem like it was my fault for it not being done. He said if they had more time to clean then my microwave would’ve gotten done and that my floors would’ve got cleaned better and I told him that they would’ve 100% have had time to do those if they DIDN’T do the 2 rooms and staircase like I SAID NOT TO DO. Not pleased at all. I have never had an experience like this with any company before.

EDIT I received a lovely call from the office to apologize after this review. Today two ladies visited to clean from the same office and they did an incredible clean in just two hours. Where to start? How about thanking Tirah for her excellent sales/customer service?? Thanks Tirah, you went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the clean. The first round of technicians left me feeling a little lackluster. Areas that I knew should have been cleaned weren't. I had gone through cleaning services before - hoping this one would meet/exceed my expectations... I was disappointed coming home to a not so clean house. And I'm only talking a living area of 700sq ft. Fast Forward to the next day - I check in with Dust Queen to express my disappointment and was greeted with someone (Tirah) who was ready to offer a solution. I shared with her the photo's of areas that were not cleaned and it was expressed that Dust Queen was also not satisfied with the cleaning performed. Tirah always maintained communication with me as to what was happening; the actions she was taking on her end and what I could expect. Well, I never expected to have my whole house re-cleaned by an amazing group of ladies - I came home and the house sparkled - i'm not even joking!! My hardwood floors had never looked better. I knew they had pulled furniture out and really did the best clean possible. It was a completely different clean than the few days prior. So short story long - they had a few rookies/trainees do the first go round and it wasn't done right. They'll work with those individuals to get them up to Dust Queen's standard of cleanliness - in the meantime, they rectified the issue and offered my cleaning at no charge. How could one not be happy with the customer service and dedication to customer/cleanliness satisfaction that they offer and provided. Thank you, you've made this working mom very very happy. I'll be in touch for the reoccurring cleaning; i wouldn't dare go with anyone else after the royal treatment I received.

This was the second time that I've used Dust Queen services. As with the first time crew, I was totally impressed with Marsha and Marina this time They were very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. My floors, both hardwood and tile, look like new. When it it turned out that there was a some time remaining in my appointment, they cleaned additional wood trims, counters and mirrors. A great job ladies. I will definitely use Dust Queen again on an occasional and possibly on a regular basis. The office crew also deserves kudos for their courtesy and efficiency in setting up appointments.

There is lots of independent cleaning companies with cheaper price. I would not recommend this place. It's pricey with ok job.

We Hired Dust Queen Maid Service to come in and do a move out clean on our house September 2020. They are the absolute worst cleaning company to deal with. Sold our house and had them come in to do a final cleaning. The clean was Sub par at best there was a muddy foot print left in the closet and none of the area that were above an arms reach were cleaned. worst of all they broke the face of our dish washer off and tried to tell us that it was broken like that when they got there. The dishwasher was perfectly fine before they got there and their is a house inspection to prove it. I Talked to Manny and Micheal at the company and they said they were going to talk to trail appliances to have it fixed, after a full day of trying to confirm the appointment they had booked for the fix it comes out they just ordered the part and tried to hire some sub par company to try and piece it back together. They refused to cover or give us any our money back for the 590.00$ cleaning and wouldn't cover any part of the new dish washer that we had to spend 900.00$ on. Beware of this company as they say that they have zero responsibility or liability for any that is broken during their cleaning. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!

I found the office staff to be very accommodating and easy to deal with over the phone. However, I wasn't entirely happy with the cleaning job that was carried out. I was quite clear that it was a big project, as it was on a house we had just purchased that was left filthy by the previous owner. The bathrooms were cleaned reasonably well considering what they looked like to start with. I assumed that on a move-in clean, washing floors would have included paying attention to the areas near the baseboards, but the baseboards and corners were not done very well. I had to reclean the inside edges and corners of the kitchen cabinets myself. The tops of the cabinets were not touched (which I was informed they will not do if it requires going up more than a step on a step stool) yet was told members of the crew were standing on the kitchen cupboards. I was hoping for a more thorough job than what I received, as I do a more meticulous job of cleaning myself.

WOW! My hats off to the four very professional, thorough, pleasant, and kind women who cleaned my home for the first time. I do know that Annie lead the troop and when I saw four ladies coming in, I was somewhat shocked but thankful as the cleaning I required was EXTENSIVE!! I have been injured, recovering from a MVA and can't use my arms. Needless to say, after many months of being unable to keep up any housework, I was embarrassed but desperate. They didn't even bat an eye at ALL the dishes & floors, & dog hair, or anything else. They assured me there was no judgement or anything to be embarrassed about, and put their heads down and got to work!! Once returning from the dog walk, I was absolutely flabbergasted at all they had accomplished in 2.5hrs!! I had my nice clean house back, every dish was away & despite having plywood countertop, every surface on every level had been cleaned & organized neatly!! And the detail! they even folded the ends of the paper towel & toilet rolls and put stickers on them as in hotel care. I could hardly believe it! Everywhere I looked, I was injured but sooooo very impressed with the work they had accomplished. It was definitely like a breath of fresh air, a huge weight had been lifted from me, so I didn't feel under duress in my own home, living in what I couldn't accomplish on my own! WAY TO GO LADIES!! I wish I could remember each of your names as you deserve great recognition! You represented Dust Queen well!! You should be proud of the work you do!! I will be utilizing them again, to maintain this level of cleanliness until I am healed. I'm thankful I found them.

Polite, competent office staff. Cleaners came out and did a good job. There was a minor hiccup with the work order. The office phoned the next day to follow up on the job. When I explained there was an outstanding issue, the office said they would send the cleaners back the next day to rectify the issue, free of charge, and were friendly about it. No hassle. The work order was completed the next day to my standard. I can say their slogan "customer satisfaction is our #1 priority" holds true. Will be using their services in the future.

Absolutely Outstanding job cleaning the house. Was amazed at the level of detail that was put into cleaning our house. Things that we had attempted to clean and couldn't even make a dent in (glass shower door for example) were completed! I thought it would be just a basic clean and dust, but everything from the back door through to the blinds in the bedroom was completed. The call beforehand and follow up afterward was excellent as well, Fantastic Customer Service! Will be hiring this service more frequently now.

I recently tried another service and now that I have a comparator, I can definitely say that Dust Queen provides exemplary service.
