We use Calgary Trusted Cleaners in 6 different cities across AB and SK. They are cleaning approximately 220 apartment buildings for us (common areas and move in/out cleans). They have been doing an excellent job managing this large scale project. they are agile and have great communication. If there is ever an issue it is remedied immediately. During COVID they have gone above and beyond to ensure our buildings are sanitized to ensure our residents have a safe environment to live in. Highly recommended.

I live in basement suite and I am at work a lot and don’t have the time to perform much or my own cleaning. When I called In I actually asked for a few extra things to be done like to wash my dishes and throw out some pilled up garbage. I don’t have a dishwasher and recently hurt my shoulder. They made arrangements which I really appreciated. I ended up getting a call from them during my clean with concerns over a smell of gas. Which I looked into and there were not any gas leaks. However I did discover that my furnace was about 50 years old. I was able to bring this up to my landlord who lives out of town. Michael from Calgary Trusted Cleaners was actually able to refer a furnace company who came out and gave us a great deal because of Michael’s referral. So not only was my place cleaned but because of their help and going over and above I now have a new furnace, water heater and honestly sleep much more sound because of the peace of mind of having a new furnace and in knowing that I am safe in my house. They also recommended a Carbon monoxide detector for me.

We received the keys to our new rental on the 1st and the place was a disaster!! We already had movers booked in for today and couldn't postpone. Calgary Trusted Cleaners came to my rescue and turned our day around! They were able to accommodate us with less than 12 hours notice! Stacey met me at 5am and I don't know if she pulled a Cinderella or a Snow White and called upon woodland creatures or what, but she had the place smelling and looking brand new in 3 hours. Everything was done before our movers arrived with our stuff! She was super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend their service!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I booked a move out clean. Not only were the cleaners 1 hour late, the house was in no way clean. The floors were not swept, the bathrooms and walls untouched and dust was left all over the house. The only things they did clean were the fridge and stove. We had booked the cleaners to come the day before the possession date so by the time we discovered the lousy job they did, it was too late to have them come back. I was left embarrassed to hand over the keys. My complaints were in no way heard or handled in a satisfactory manner.

I really thought about writing this review because I did receive an apology from the owner after the incidents, but have decided to anyways. I have used Calgary Trusted Cleaners for about 1.5 years now but recently experienced some problems. The website has a checklist of the items they clean, and over time I had noticed that sometimes small items were missed, but I didnt fuss it or say anything, wasnt a big deal. I did notice that regardless of the size of my home (I moved midway through the 1.5 years but kept the cleaning contract) or how clean or how dirty it was, if I included the basement or not, the cleaning time (as documented by my security system) was always between 50 to 60 minutes. On Jan 31, 2020 I came home after work on the cleaning day (cleaning at noon home by 5pm) I noticed a few things not clean and decided to do a full investigation. I took 15 videos (and emailed tot he company) of the uncleaned areas by showing a brand new paper towel, spraying windex, quickly wiping the area, and then showing the dirty brown paper towel. Some of the uncleaned areas were - toothpaste splashes still in the sink, chrome fixtures in kitchen and bathrooms with water marks, shower still had hair and dirt on the shower floor, glass in shower with water marks, floors next to toilets were so dirty I dont think they have ever been washed, shower shelves untouched, and more. I sent these emails on Jan 31, didnt hear back so emailed again on Feb 3, didnt hear back so emailed again on Feb 4. Heard back on Feb 4 with the response "I see that the issues were in the shower , we will discount $20, I guess the cleaner didnt check her parents work". My response was "the dirty areas extended to much more than the "shower area", and if this is the level cleaning I got for this clean, then I am wondering if all the previous cleans were the same, especially considering how dirty the floors near the toilets were". Thier response - "Ok, we wont charge you for the clean but the company is no long putting efforts into residential clean so we thank you for your business but wont be providing service to you anymore" dated Feb 5. I checked the website and there was no information regarding the companies change from residential cleaning to only commercial cleaning and emailed the company on Feb 5 stated as much. No response, so I emailed again on Feb 7. No response. So I emailed again on Feb 11 saying that since I was not getting a response that I wanted to be put in touch with a manager. I got a phone call from the owner/manager within the hour. The gentlemen on the phone was extremely polite and very apologetic for the issues I had experienced, we chatted for about an hour and I really appreciated the time he took to talk to me. He mentioned that as a company they were not making much money on residential cleaning and were thinking of not doing it as much or maybe anymore (I paid $187 for a 1 hour clean by two people on a 3 week frequency). So without being able to know the true reasons why I was not able to retain the cleaning services, there are only a few available reasons, and a summary of the company and those reasons is this; 1. Calgary Trusted Cleaners is not interested in residential cleaning - so if you are a homeowner looking for a cleaning company, this one isnt for you 2. Calgary Trusted Cleaners will discontinue your cleaning contract if you complain about the service, regardless that you have 15 videos of proof 3. Calgary Trusted Cleaners will not respond promptly to your emails if they are regarding a problem 4. Calgary Trusted Cleaners does not always clean as per their own checklist 5. Calgary Trusted Cleaners will spend only an allotted amount of time cleaning your house (mine was 50 to 60 minutes) regardless of the size or cleanliness/dirtiness level of your house 6. I did receive a full refund for the last cleaning service I had 7. I received a very nice and sincere apology from the owner

It has taken me long time to write this review, but I wanted to make sure to warn others. We hired Calgary Trusted Cleaners in October for a full move-in clean of our new (to us) house. A service that cost over $500. The list on their website of what the clean entails was comprehensive and made us feel that it was worth it, as did talking to the person who originally set the appointment up. I was 6 months pregnant and my boyfriend had just had surgery and we wanted to make sure the house was ready for us to unpack and start living. Unfortunately we did not have that experience at all. Our house was disgusting when we moved in and we had to have our friends help us clean the entire house again after paying over $500 to have it cleaned already. Because we moved in that same night and didn't have a choice. The pictures are just a few of the ones we had time to snap, before we had to clean so we could move in. On top of which - it says on their website that they will call once the clean is done and we are able to inspect it to make sure everything was done. We were NEVER called and instead our credit card was charged without our knowledge before we ever got to see our place. To put it into perspective - the house was 100% empty when they did the clean, so most of what was on their list - emptying cupboards and cleaning them and putting everything back did not even have to be done, because they were empty. And, many of the services they offer - we didn't need as we didn't have There were so many things that were NOT done, it's hard to list them all. Over 75% of their list was NOT done. Basically it looks like they came in to our house, moved a couple things around to make it look like they cleaned and left. They didn't even empty the one garbage can that was full....even with explicit directions (on top of the fact that it's supposed to be done according to their service agreement). I was very clear in the beginning that I wanted the EMPTY house to be fully scrubbed down as I was 6 months pregnant and my boyfriend has just had surgery so we were unable to take care of it ourselves. We trusted this company to do the job they were hired to do. We trusted them to clean as per their own checklist and standards and yet nothing was done. When I contacted the company - they offered to have someone come back - NO THANKS, not after the horrible job that was already done. Plus, we had made it very clear that we were moving in that same evening. So we couldn't have someone come back again while we were moving in. When I asked for a refund, I was told that we still had to pay $150 to cover the cost of the hours they worked because they contracted the clean out to another company. I reluctantly paid, so as not to have to deal with this company again. But we should've been refunded the entire amount, no question. It is not our problem that the company they contracted didn't do the job. It is up to Calgary Trusted Cleaners to deal with payment on their end - not to rip off their customer to cover their own costs. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I would NEVER hire this company again and would be very weary of spending hundreds of dollars. It was a very stressful time for us already and they made it worse not better. *** edited to add - I think it's pretty sad that the response form the business included "regarding the content of your review, the information doesn't seem to be correct" - they have done this on any negative review they received. I have all the emails between us that show the content is exactly correct. Maybe just take the opportunity to learn and treat your customers better and lose the ego. And for the record - your company (as per your policy) did NOT contact me after our house was 'cleaned' - that was a huge part of the issue. Your response at the time (against your own policy) was "Unfortunately we are not available to follow up with every client but would have been happy to address any problem if they were brought to our attention sooner." BAD BUSINESS PERIOD.

I have used their move-out cleaning services for the past two places I have moved out of and have been overwhelmed with the quality of the clean. The last place I had great landlords and they were very happy when it came time to do the move out walkthrough, I got my full deposit back. The first place the landlords were terrible, just to give you an idea of the type of people they were, we had mold in a freshly renovated place, had to get the city involved but they came in and did a quick surface clean prior to the inspector coming, they were terrible people. Fast forward a couple months when we actually moved out they tried to keep every dollar of our deposit, but all they could legitimately find was one piece of lint in the fryer which they charged $30 to clean. I think this is a testament to level of cleanliness you get when you hire Calgary Trusted Cleaners, its worth every penny and I will continue to use their services in the future.

Don't trust the 4 & 5 star reviews. Very unprofessional business, arrived very late ( in consequence making me late for work). Update that they were arriving late was inaccurate. When I called the business for an update they claimed it wasn't their responsibility to be on time. Following their cleaning they missed plenty of things they "guaranteed" on their checklist. Walls, stove, dishwasher, fridge and floors were all ignored. When I sent them the photos and reported this to them that it cost me 250$ off of my damage deposit they shrugged it off. Eventually agreed to take something off my invoice which only resulted in 30$ leaving me with a large loss to my deposit and to them. Would NOT recommend.

The did a horrible job. Claimed they were going to make my Last apartment “move in ready” but failed miserably. I never received my full deposit because my previous landlord had to hire cleaners to come in and finish the job. Massive waste of $300 I don’t recommend them at all.

So I’m a little disappointed with Calgary Trusted Cleaners. Granted they were very open and professional when it came to me changing the date multiple times due to my parents flights changing… that was about the only professional thing about this. Take note I live outside of the city but it’s really not that difficult to get to me and it’s ten minutes outside. You take one road and a couple turns, if you use google maps it’s extremely straightforward. My cleaners were two hours late setting my entire day behind. I have a gate and I had to let them onto my property so I couldn’t leave until they had arrived meaning I missed an appointment waiting for these ladies. What bothers me is the fact that not a single person called or texted or emailed me until the ladies were already an hour late; in my opinion that’s unprofessional and inconsiderate of me and my time. I had received a call from who is perhaps the boss? And she asked me for some landmarks around my house. I gave them to her and she promptly said “okay perfect I will give this to the girls and call you back right away in regards to where they are and when they will arrive.” I was thinking to myself okay perfect :) I never got a call back, I waited 45 minutes after that conversation only to then be so frustrated with the lack of communication that I called them back to cancel. I’m sorry but I’m not paying well over $600 for you to arrive 2 hours late with no notice and no communication. I understand people get lost but it’s the lack of respect for me and my time that made me so mad and choose to write a review today. They did apologize for the inconvenience and so did I. If you live in the city perhaps these ladies would be an awesome choice but not if you’re any further then The city. And maybe for next time if anyone near me or in my type of area books with you let them know beforehand; “oh hey there! We see you’re rather far out. We just wanted to let you know there’s a risk of us getting lost and it may put us behind a little bit. Please don’t be surprised if we’re late. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience :)”

I actually meant to write this review a while ago. I had booked Calgary Trusted Cleaners to clean my rental property. I had some bad tenants who absolutely had trashed the place. I could not recognize it, it looked so bad that I was pretty much in tears from how bad it was. When I called to inquire about cleaning I really didn’t know what to do or what could even be done. I spoke to Viktoriya who was so great. Viktoriya calmed me down and totally put me at ease and explain that this Happens all the time and thy they have a lot of experience with this type of things. Again it was outrageous the way my place was left which I explained. Viktoriya asked me to send her photos so then could properly assess this. So I sent her about 30 photos of the complete disaster my house was left in. Viktoriya followed up with me and explained how they can wash my walls and scrub the baseboards and deep clean the appliances and really stared to put me at ease. Honestly I believe it would take a miracle or an act of god to be able to do ever rent out my rental property again. The price was clearly explained to me. It was not the cheapest price but I would have paid anything really to just get my place looking decent. On the day of the cleaning a Team of 3 cleaners showed up with smiles on their faces and all the supplies and equipment needed. They had advised me this could take 5-8 hours to complete. About 7 hours later got a call from the head and of the cleaning team asking me to come and do a walk through as they should be done in about 30 minutes. When I returned to my rental property I was in completed shock!!! I could not believe that this was the same place I had left in the morning. The place looked incredible, it was so much better, it looked better and smelled better. I don’t see how it could have possibly looked better. Some items were permanent stained and there was some permanent damage done and the cleaning team was able to point these items so it to me. I immediately called the office to express how happy I was and that this relieved so much stress and anxiety for me. I am so happy that I chose to call them and they really did take such good care of me thank you very much. If you want a company that clearly cares about their customers and knows what they are doing, these are the guys. They cannot perform a miracle, but they really do work hard and made all the difference in the world.

We used Calgary Trusted Cleaners in 2017 for a move out clean and our house looked so good, our real estate agent wanted to know what cleaning company we used. Dealing with Viktoriya was a breeze. We cannot comment on their regular cleaning services as we have not used them for that yet, however, we would not hesitate to call Calgary Trusted Cleaners for any cleaning services.

My sister was moving and wanted someone to clean her new home while we cleaned the one for sale. We thought we would move into a lovely clean house and just have to unpack boxes. We were very disappointed in the cleaning job. I had to clean almost every cupboard in the kitchen before I could put anything away. The hardwood floor was filthy. Our feet were as black as playing out in the dirt. Some toilets had not been cleaned on the outside. Window frames and doors were not cleaned. They offered to come back but with so many boxes around we said no. Plus we didn't trust them to do much better. They gave us a small amount of money back reluctantly. It was a waste of over $500.00. I would not recommend this company.

We hired Calgary Trusted Cleaners to clean our house + steam clean the carpets before we moved in. We have a little 10 month old daughter so I wanted the place thoroughly cleaned. Generally speaking, the team from Calgary Trusted Cleaners did a good job. The carpets were steam cleaned really well and they did clean the house. All the obvious things were cleaned + wiped down. However, for the price they are charging, I would have expected a much more thorough job. There were just lots of details that were missed and they had to come back to re-do some of the baseboards. When I hire a full team to do a move in clean for $700+ I expect the house to be wiped from corner to corner, every little detail should be taken care of. We had to re-clean some of the cupboards, walls, baseboards etc. I would say they did a B+ job, but they are charging much more than that. I cancelled the move out clean I had booked with them as my regular cleaning lady is going to do a better job for much less money (She just can't steam clean, which we do not need for our move out clean). Not terrible, but not worth the money you're spending.

Terrible job. I requested a move-out deep-clean and they sent out two guys with minimal English who had no idea how to clean. One of the men broke a light fixture in the apartment. Carpet wasn't steam cleaned, none of the details were cleaned at all. They had to come back twice, because I took pictures and sent back to Trusted Cleaners Dispatch as well as replace broken light fixture. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED TO CALL THIS COMPANY. I was charged $500 for service. Stove, Fridge, Dishwasher, baseboards were not cleaned nor dusted. Carpet was still dirty afterwards. SCAMMERS. Better cleaning was done on Kijiji from personal AD's for a FIFTH of the cost.

Calgary Trusted Cleaners did a move out clean for us. When booking we explained we were in need of a short notice booking and wanted it done by a certain date. We were clear that we did not want to book unless this date and time could be accommodated. We were assured that was no problem. When the date arrived no one showed up. After calling them an hour after they were supposed to be there they stayed that unexpected delays had occurred and they could only fit us in the following day. On that day they ended up being 7hrs late. The cleaning job was very bad. Most of the things they had given me on the list of things they do for move out clean we’re not done. Baseboards were not done. The inside of cupboards were not done. The oven was not done. All of these things were on the lost that THEY gave to me of things included in the fee. When I called to inquire about the issues the owner was very rude and extremely unprofessional. His answer was that it was too bad for me. So I ended up spending most of a night cleaning a house I had spent $500 to have cleaned by them. So if even after reading all of this you end up using Calgary Trusted Cleaners, be sure you don’t pay the invoice until you have seen that they actually cleaned your house. Since I can’t directly answer your response to my review I will edit here. You have tried to contact me ONCE. NOT several times as you stated below. Also, you were not at all eager to make things right two years ago, despite the multiple pictures and sent you and your complete inability to keep your word regarding timing. Why has that changed now? You would not even agree to give me a few supplies to complete the job myself since all of my supplies were packed and in a moving truck. Your service was deplorable, and as I trusted the positive reviews on this site to hire you, I wanted to ensure that any other customers see a full picture.

I wasn’t comfortable with another crew coming out but she did offer to refund a portion of the fee that I paid to make up for the issues. We booked a deep clean with Calgary Trusted Cleaners, and I liked the fact that they had a posted list of them website because I had never used them before at least there was a common understanding about what would be covered in the clean. The cleaners arrived 30 minutes late and though I left while they cleaned they didn’t wear masks during the duration of the clean in my home. When I arrived back I noticed dust across the floor and in the corners of the bathrooms, the baseboards were not cleaned consistently through the house, walls weren’t wiped, oven cleaner wasn’t wiped out of stove, goop was left in one of the sinks, etc, etc. Sue said they would do a follow up clean to address the issues but it was difficult to arrange and required lots of communication with the cleaning team and Sue. I left again when they arrived to complete the follow-up but they hadn’t been given any information about what issues were to be addressed during their visit and I had to provide another list. The follow up clean left many remaining issues as well as the removal off pint in my stove from the incorrect use of the oven cleaner. Unfortunately, will it be using this company again.

My scheduled cleaning began over two hours late, which preventing me from having the time to do fresh towels and finishing touches myself. Unprofessional management. Terrible customer service. Late for cleaning job due to not having cleaning supplies ready for job. Did not double check job before walk through. Missed vacuuming and washing of floors in all closets in 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Missed cleaning stove top and dishwasher completely. Missed seeing streaks on mirrors. They did complete jobs after I had to look through every thing I had time for. I had to wait for them to do the job. Reported all to management and asked for a discount due to me having to supervisor the job. I was paying for a complete job done not to have supervisor it myself. No apology or any understanding for my legitimate complaints. Management says job complete no discount. Yet if I hadn't been there for the walk through and gone later they expected you to take pictures, set up a new time to finish job with no discount or my guess no apology either. I have used Calgary Trusted Cleaners twice now: once for window washing, and once for tree trimming. Both times a great job was done. The most important part to mention was the service. After the snow storm in September I had extensive tree damage on my property (like almost everyone else in the city). One tree branch in particular had fallen against a power line that I could not reach. Tree trimmers were in extremely high demand that day but even under the circumstances Michael was able to have one of his employees come to fix my problem in the same day. I will 100% be using the service of CTC again for my spring cleaning: junk removal and gutter cleaning.

I think that’s a really nice gesture and I appreciate them really going out of their way to get ahold of me to make the offer. I wanted to leave the prior review there though because it sucks that any of this happened to begin with, and a move out clean is so crucial and time sensitive that it’s important to share my experience. I’ll update the star rating after the standard clean happens- we are thick in bins and boxes still- but I am impressed with how much the company cares about trying to make this right! ORIGINAL: I read all the great reviews and decided to hire CTC for a move out clean of our rental when we bought a new house. I trusted they did their job as it looked clean to walk through, but I didn’t go over every shelf and cupboard and drawer before they left. But my landlord sure did for our walkthrough! Kitchen cupboard shelves were sticky, drawers were not cleaned, fingerprints still near cupboard handles, bathroom same thing, also dirty windowsills. The walk through was two hours before the next tenants took possession and the landlord agreed to let me go grab cleaning supplies and RE CLEAN the kitchen and bathroom and window sills, mostly to avoid the paperwork of hiring another cleaner. I told CTC after and they said they would send someone, I said it was to late I had already done it and I wanted a discount. They did give me 10% off, which is pretty measly considering the total was $600. My suggestion if you decide to hire them - thoroughly do a walkthrough with the cleaners with THEIR OWN checklist. Don’t just trust that they do the job they say they will!

We used CTC for the first time during an urgent situation brought about by tenants leaving the home in an uninhabitable state (pet excrement/urine stains and smell, hair everywhere, washer in disgusting state, etc.). Whereas other cleaners we tried were unable to respond in a timely manner or provide the specialized services we needed, CTC was able to handle the entire mess to the satisfaction of the new tenant (even addressing the smell of cat urine that had been accumulating for years). Most impressively, we called them on Canada Day and were able to schedule a deep cleaning for the next morning. Throughout the process they were incredibly responsive, giving us updates via text message both before and during the cleaning. We rented our home during Calgary Stampede and we went out of town. Upon returning we found our home in less than nice condition. To say the least we were horrified and were too emotional and upset to deal with this ourselves. We called a few different cleaning businesses but liked the way Viktoriya spoke to us and empathized with us over the phone. She got a crew out to us the same day to perform a DEEP CLEAN. The cleaners showed up with their own equipment and supplies and they did a great job. Our house felt like a home again The price was fair and the customer service was well above expectations.

First of all Brandi is amazing! She was so informative and helpful. As a former cleaner for another company I really appreciate her attention to detail and accurate descriptions of services. As for my cleaning, it was Fantastic!!! I couldn’t be happier. I got a deep clean with a few added extras. There was one tiny issue with items being missed but they came back right away and fixed everything fast and efficiently. Which I really appreciate. I would use this company again absolutely. I’ve used other companies before like Merry Maids and the office was just horrible. Calgary Trusted Cleaners are my new cleaning company as long as they will have me!

The overall clean was good, just based on the fact that my apartment was dirty. Price: Extremely expensive. For just a little over 2 hours of "deep clean" with 2 people, I was charged $299. I was quoted $249 and the invoice does not show the number of hours. I opted for no appliances to be cleaned, and that was a reduction of $75. Floor Sanitization: My biggest problem was that to sanitize the floor, the cleaner sprayed what seemed to just be vinegar, out of a spray bottle and onto their mop. That is what they call "sanitizing" the floor. This is truly unacceptable. Vacuum: Their vacuum is extremely low quality, my handheld Dyson did a better job of vacuuming my rug after they left. Pictures: If you have any comments at all, the first response you get back is "please have pictures". It is not communicated to clients that any and all problems MUST have pictures. Since this was my first, AND LAST, clean with them, I didn't know I was supposed to take pictures, and now their customer service no longer responds. I would not recommend this company.

Using Calgary Trusted Cleaners was the WORST experience. I paid the $450 plus another $150 for windows for the move in cleaning to have cleaners come and do such a poor job that I had to get another cleaner to come again afterward. Further, they claimed to be finished cleaning a 2,400 sq.ft. home from top to bottom (which was to include all windows, blinds, inside all kitchen appliances, inside cupboards, all 4 bathrooms, etc. their move in cleaning check list is on the website but they clearly don't follow it) in less than 2.5 hours. When I showed up to review it was clear they hadn't properly cleaned and when I pointed out obvious things such as front of cupboards not being wiped down and cleaned they treated me like I was acting like a tyrant. They did take 10% and had another cleaner come back but it still wasn't a good job and I had to hire another cleaner to come and actually properly clean the house afterward. Further, my husband had to spend over an hour cleaning out the cleaner that was caked on inside the oven before we could cook dinner our first night in our new house as they didn't even bother to wipe that out. I would have done the second round of cleaning myself however I was 8 months pregnant and could not do that kind of labour. Don't waste your time and money, look else where. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

The managers and staff at Calgary Trusted Cleaners are amazing!! I’ve used plenty of cleaning companies in the past, but no one has been on the same level as them! Any time I have run into an issue with a clean (only once), the manager sent the girls back over the next day, free of charge, and made sure we were happy! Their level of communication is amazing. I can always trust them for a job well done. 10/10 would recommend to every one!!

I get my place cleaned by calgary trusted cleaners. They do a great job. You don't have to sign up for regular intervals, you can just book it when you want which is better for me and more flexible. The price is reasonable and they clean places I never thought anyone would (like under the sink!) They are also organized. They are trustworthy and great at what they do.
