I have had no end of trouble locating the correct size charcoal filter for our Samsung over the range microwave oven so took measurements and did a web search. Found the same sized GE filter in the Amre web page, ordered it, just received it and the filter is an exact replacement.

I ordered a refrigerator fan motor from them on 17 December and it is 3 January. I still do not have the part. I tried calling and the only way I have been able to contact them is through online chat. Not only was the part expensive and the shipping expensive too but I could have hand crafted the part and driven the part myself by now.

Very helpful in helping me find the closest replacement to match my discontinued oven gasket. With a very minor modification I was able to make the new part work. Other suppliers simply told me the part was no longer available and I may need to buy a new oven. Amre great customer service saved me a bundle.

Great stuff. More on the commercial side. So I would think better quality then the same type of stuff at places like home depot or Rona type of store. Just set aside 20-25 minutes to purchase your stuff at the end. Kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth after. It’s funny cause small businesses like this wonder why people just go to big box stores. I Needed a new Motor for furnace. My wife took in the motor. These people sent my wife and son AWAY because I didn't remove the motor from the furnace fan case. I didn't know exactly what I was doing - but instead of HELPING her and taking off the case ONE BOLT - they SENT HER AWAY. Don't trust your family to these people I've never been so offended by a company in my life.

I was informed this evening from my son that the manager, Brian was mocking the speech of the deaf employee at the 11413-120 street location. My son was also being harassed for being to quiet which i assured him that it’s ok it will improve…that’s until he told me about the mocking. If you are the owner, I will let you know that this incident is not ok and I intend to go to social media and the government agency that deals with this and any new agency that wishes to take this on until Brian (the manager) is held for his actions. I’m shocked and disgusted.

He put me in touch with Briley Carlson who helped me with my plumbing question regarding the replacement of a relatively older Moen Bathroom Faucet. Also I witnessed especially one sales associate by the name Jess Mckenzie his service exceeds expectation efficient service. They play a key role to the success of an apartment building. We are always ordering something from them, especially the weird odds and ends. It always amazes me to find out they have that piece I didn't think was possible. Like an exact replacement for the stove leg that broke off, or a perfectly fitting replacement grill for a 50 year old bathroom fan, or that really old closet knob that you're trying to match, or that cap that covers the valve stems sticking out of the wall above the wash sinks in the laundry room. I don't know how many times I've said "Hey, did you check Amre? They have x in stock.." 1 Year Later: I wish I knew they sold fire department lock boxes before having paid much more to a locksmith..

I had ordered a belt online and had gone into the store to pick it up. Unfortunately, the inventory was incorrect and was not in stock. Trevor had spent a good amount of time check high and low. He apologized profusely and had said he would have one expedited overnight from Calgary to make it right. It is extremely rare these days for someone to go over and above like Trevor did. It in fact, the part arrived less than 24 hours later on my doorstep.

AMRE Supply is a poorly run operation with very poor customer service. They do not have time for their customers, and will not respond well to issues or respond to emails, nor will they communicate in writing as they are "too busy". I placed an order for Degil Odyssey N95 Disposable Respirator Masks, 20/Box 74002AO back in June when it was listed as available on their website. I had sent numerous emails well into November which received absolutely no responses. Whenever I called in on a monthly basis to check the status of my order, the delay was blamed on the pandemic, and they routinely told me they are "too busy" to provide customers with order updates as they "receive over 20,000 orders". I kept waiting patiently hoping one day it would actually ship. Today, in November, over 5 months later, I called again to follow up, and spoke to "Edward" (?) who suggested the product is no longer available and will never be replenished, and my order would be cancelled. II do not know why anyone would do business with a company like this which is more than eager to take their customers money and not ship a product, and is too busy from receiving "too many orders" to provide status updates or cancel when a product will no longer be available from the manufacturer at any point in time. Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart etc. are all presumably much larger, and seem to have no issue doing this. Poor service all around.

Such a great experience. I get judgement for being a woman who knows how to fix stuff. But not here, Jacob behind the till was super knowledgeable, fast, friendly and efficient at his job. Service, service, service. The customer service rep assisting me (Jake) went above my expectations. I had purchased an item last year at this store to fix my water tank. I ended up replacing my water tank rather than repair it. A year later, I needed a bathroom fan motor, as I still had the part previously mentioned, I decided to return it. I was not expecting a credit, I was more concerned with adding to environmental waste. Someone else could use it! Jake said it's an item they stock and gave me a credit towards the the fan motor. Now that is great customer service. I will also say, I could have got the part I was looking for on Amazon for a little less. I left a store called Reliable Parts angry, because the lazy and rude staff in Reliable Parts was too lazy to put in any effort to help me with some very generic microwave hood fan filters, even I brought my old ones to show them. I then thought of AMRE, and went straight from Reliable Parts to them. I was greeted by one of their helpful staff. I showed her my old filters, and she took out her measuring tape to measure the dimensions, and looked into her computer. Within a few minutes, she came back with the right kind of filters. From now on, I know where to get my parts!

I hate giving this place a bad review because it always has everything I need but they have inadequate customer service. Don't bother trying to call this place. No-one will answer. I've tried to call a few times and sat on hold for almost an hour before hanging up. I learnt that the trick with this place is to check online for what you need, see if it shows it's in stock, write down the SKU and take that to the desk guys upon arrival. Once you get in the store, the front counter guys are very knowledgable and eager to help. It's crazy that a such a good store couldn't be bothered to pick up their phone.

Experienced some troubles with our GE fridge over the holiday - it doesn't cool. I was able to identify a faulty evaporator fan by yesterday, Dec. 28th. Tried to search online and only found AMRE has one in-stock (although I was not quite sure whether it is the identical model). Ordered it and selected in-store pick-up. Drove to the store the first thing in the morning today. The staff are super nice and helpful and they helped verify the model number for me. Replaced the fan and the fridge works as it is supposed to be. It has been frustrating with a faulty fridge and now it is all fixed. Thanks! Peng

3 stars is only based on horrible phone system they have and unfriendly staff memeber I keep getting stuck with) Amre is the place you go when you need something everywhere else doesn't have. Their website is usually pretty accurate, and list their available parts which Is awesome!! If you live in a fast paced world, don't waste your time using them. I like to order parts before I get there. (Service Plumber) Their phone in service is Horrible. Takes longer to get ahold of someone than driving down and getting parts yourself. Can't really fault them, but their wait lines are always really long. Mainly customers wanting the staff to figure out what they need, rather than calling a professional or figuring it out themselves.

I work for a very large educational institution in the city and out of frustration with regular suppliers wait time and lack of stock I decided to come in today. I was not disappointed! The 3 stars are for the fact that they carry pretty obscure stuff that would need to be ordered online otherwise. I always prefer to shop locally when I can. No stars for customer service, that's for certain. Let me explain: I was in today as I recently had some unpleasant sewer backup issues in my house. After spending hundreds on a plumber to determine a broken backwater valve flap was the issue, they suggested I visit amre supply to ask their customer service team for help identifying it. Me, not knowing anything about backwater valves, clean the flap up with bleach, bring it along (so they can look at it and help to identify what I'd need), and ask at the counter. The man I spoke with proceeds to expect that I'd have knowledge about backwater valve/flap sizing (which of course, I don't). Berates me for a minute about it, then checks for his largest size (as the ones on their shelf were all too small), and it's not in stock. He was really rude about it, when all he'd have to do is look at it once and either measure or estimate the size based on what was right in front of him. You'll recognize him by the one that's wearing his covid mask under his nose...

I purchased a fluorescent light from Amre but two weeks after the installation the light cover came off and fell to the ground, cracking. I contacted Amre and the manager immediately rectified the situation, offering to replace the cover and/or the entire light. I picked up the cover from Amre and the fluorescent light was as good as new. Amre offered great customer service as good customer service is what truly makes a business! Thanks Amre!

My husband and I were just at the store and want to warn people of a bate and switch! Four products all the same, in the same spot with a price tag of $39.99. Product came up $64.99. We brought it to the attention of Jess that the tag read $39.99. He told us the tag did not match the product and for that reason he would not honour the price. On the tag there is no info resembling the product other than the price, clearing stating $39.99. It is law that if a product is less than $10.00 and the price tag is wrong the product is free. If the product is over $10.00 they have to honour the price on the tag. All consumers beware! Because of their lies and unprofessionalism we will not shop there again. We would have given them zero stars if that was an option given! Part two: Store manager Brily reached out to talk with us about the situation we had. Brily looked into this matter in a professional manner and we are now satisfied with Amre. Thank you Brily for your professionalism and concern in this matter. We appreciate all you've done. A side note, we recommend that any inconsistencies should be handled through management and not through employees. Thank you!

Anyway I can, I try to buy my parts locally to support local businesses over buying from next day delivery amazon or walmart delivery. I've been buying from AMRE for over a decade now and usually received service you would expect to get from a retail store. I'm not a huge fan of their counter top service where you need them to get a part for you. This morning I went to get replacement parts (capacitors, etc) to replenish my supply of HVAC system components used when servicing client sites. It literally took 14 minutes for the service guy to get a fully stocked (6 according to their inventory) capacitor. I don't know if he was having a smoke or coffee break or a conversation or just forgot about me. Anyways, I didn't want to complain so I just thanked him and went on my way. I was late for a client appointment because of it. Look, AMRE, I make the effort to support you guys because it's the right thing to do. I literally pay 10% to 30% more over buying from Amazon Prime's next day delivery service and also lose their no questions return and exchange policy. For that 10-30% and the drive over to your place, please don't make me wait at the counter for 14 minutes (and another 3 in line). At least come back and tell me what's going on and let me decide to come back at another time. This way I don't look stupid in front of my client arriving late. It's not professional of you. Also, FYI, this review was written because this wasn't the only instance I had extended time problems with your desk. I wish there was another way you can do this. For now, I'll be going back to Amazon and reliable sourcing, there shouldn't be any excuse for making a customer wait that long for one common part that's instock. Thank you for reading.

I am leaving this review to warn potential customers about rude comments from a man working at the counter whom I was told is named Mike. While purchasing a part from another polite sales associate of Asian decent, Mike butted into the conversation to tell me in a rude way: "If you install the part, you cant return it". Confused, because I didn't even ask this person anything to begin with or bring up the topic of returns, I then turn to my sales associate and ask him "I assume then its alright to return the part if I don't install it?" To which Mike then butts back in and responds "What are you even doing here then??" while laughing to himself. What absolutely horrendous and unacceptable sales behavior. A real slime ball that took a pleasant interaction I was having with an associate and ruined it. If management wants to rectify the situation, i'll update the review. If not, they've lost me, and anyone I know looking for appliance parts, as clients.

Was looking to order parts but concerned about delivery. Phoned customer service and was told if I placed the order right away same day shipping would be applied and I would receive them Friday as I was only 30km from Edmonton and the parts were in stock. Nothing arrived Friday leaving me without a fridge all weekend. Phoned Monday and was told that it wasn't approved (Credit Card was already charged in full on Friday) but that she would approve it and they would arrive by end of day Monday, they did not! Phoned Tuesday and spoke to another customer service rep who checked the tracking (Never sent tracking info to me originally) and said it was coming from BC and was on truck for delivery today. I asked for the tracking number and when I checked it the parts hadn't even gone out until after 4pm Monday! Top it all off parts arrive and I install the motor, phone in with a simple question on the airflow/motor direction and could not get an answer. I ordered from AMRE on the advice of a friend and for saving around 1% over Reliable on the parts themselves. Sadly, AMREs shipping was more and all but eliminated that savings, plus they didn't deliver as promised twice. Lesson learned, should have picked the parts up myself but was willing to pay for the "convenience". Honest customer service goes a long way, I feel like I was a long way from getting honest customer service from AMRE.

UPDATE: I finally got a hold of someone. They were not particularly helpful, but I got my answer regardless of whether I liked the response or not. Still a pretty frustrating experience. ORIGINAL: I absolutely cannot get anybody on the phone. I have called for multiple times over the past couple of days, and I keep getting the "experiencing high call volume" message and have been left on hold for half hour or longer. I also haven't been able to get any response from their online contact form yet. Does this location still operate?? It might be easier to just drive there and talk to someone in person - too bad they are only open until 5:30 so only a short window after work to get there. Super frustrating.

Amre itself is a great store. Has everything you need. Even that weird part that you can’t seem to find anywhere. And the staff know what you are talking about, very knowledgeable ( at least in this instance, the south Edmonton location is) Although, I called the downtown location. Asked what kind of item they would recommend for this particular task I was doing ( I needed a y shaped fitting that could be for either hose/pvc etc. Anything except the 45° lateral wye pvc fittings all the stores have). ANYWAYS. Instead of helping me, or transferring me to someone who could help, I get a “what we have on the website is what we have”. Thanks tips. I did my best and searched names and descriptions as best as I could. But I called you for your hands on experience of items in the store. Maybe I missed something online to help me in my search. But you were no help. It may seem petty. But that was horrible customer service.

Update... Greg took the time to call me and asked questions so we could understand what happened. It looks like the part I ordered was out of stock so their fulfillment/shipping center canceled the order. For an unknown reason the cancellation wasn't communicated thought the AMRE computer system to me via email or phone call. Greg found an alternative item that would work and is getting it to me ASAP! Thank you Greg you turned my lemon into lemonade; much appreciated!!! On 9/22/2020I ordered a tub drain (in-stock) online and paid with Paypal and expected to get a tracking number/receive the part within a week. on 9/28/2020 I called AMRE and spoke to a customer care representative. She explained that from what she saw on her system the order had been canceled. I explained that I did not cancel the order, did not receive a refund (that both my bank and Paypal show I have paid in full} and received no communication from AMRE that my order had been canceled . I am now stuck without the part I need and no one knows what is going on. I left a voice message for the store manager "Greg F" and am awaiting a reply. Talked to someone at the store and they have no idea what happened... AMRE clearly does not value their customers I do not recommend doing any online business with them

We ordered a compactor for our A/C unit on June 8th and expected delivery by June 16th. Due to COVID-19, we expected some delay. It is now June 23rd and we have not received it, yet. When calling a representative at the customer service number, we were told it was at US customs. That was on Friday, June 19th. It's not like it is coming from China, it is in Canada. We live in upper NY state and the heat and humidity have been terrible. I expected some delay, but this is ridiculous!!

Not bad and not the greatest. I was shopping for a part, called many retailers including Amre Supply, they gave a price over the phone that was a bit better than other retailers. Drove all the way to the store, gave the part number, the price went up from $36 to $68!!! Double checked again, still the same. Anyway I had no choice but to buy it, it was around 5:00pm, so can't have enough time to go to another place. I needed the part right away. But still disappointed

Was at the store for a temperature control part for an oven on Jan 13, 2020. Did not replace it in the oven at that time as the old one continued to work. On July 17th, got a message F3E2. Replaced with new part and still got the message. Called the store on 120 Street July 18. The man who answered the phone was useless. I asked him if they could test the new part to ensure it was not failing. He knew nothing and was not helpful. Making comments continually that he did not know if it could be tested, warranty was off, and said he could not help. I told him if the new part was faulty, I would know to buy another. He was so annoying and frustrating that when I was losing my cool, he was trying to talk over me. Horrible customer service. I have done customer service for years and have never been allowed to treat people in that manner. He possibly is in the wrong position or needs a lot more training on product and how to work with customers.
