Unlike the first reviewer my experience has been completely different. If you are used to a very traditional old school care or crack'em type of chriopractor this is not for you. After 2 yrs of Chriopractic care with these Dr's and their caring staff who deliver the whole Maximized Living type of care of which one aspect is the Chriopractic treatments themselves, I have never been in as good of health as I am now. By living all 5 values of Maximized Living I have dropped and kept off 30 lbs of weight and dropping, stopped taking my Insulin because my blood sugars are so in control, I am off my prescription based heart burn medication, all saving me hundreds of dollars a month. Unlike the first reviewer, a visit or two isn't enough to understand this type of care, if you have an open mind and want to get healthy not just cracked, then consider the team at focus Chriopractic to help you get there.

I have absolutely loved every moment of my experience at Focus. The staff are so positive and friendly and the clinic has been designed to make all people feel welcome. They really have paid attention to every detail, there is a kids play area, fresh pressed juices and energy bars to purchase (I love the 'Wake me up' drink) and slippers to put on when you take off your snowy boots. It just feels great knowing that you are in a healthy space full of people who care about your health and well-being. Where can I even begin. Focus has simply changed my life in more ways than just chiropractic. I don't believe I can properly articulate how amazing the staff is at Focus Chiro. Personally, I had great apprehension about visiting a chiropractor however, I was suffering from horrible neck pain which caused a severe loss of range of motion to the point where I could no longer shoulder check without having to physically turn my body. A good friend and co-worker suggested that I visit Focus chiro as he saw how I suffered from migraines / headaches on a almost daily basis. I met Dr. Zsolt at one of the community dinners which are held quite frequently. He spoke passionately about his team and his practice. His intent was to educate through his personal experiences, it was a very comfortable atmosphere. He explained how subluxation can affect many aspects of health and described different facets of chiropractic work and their benefit. I felt more comfortable about gaining a better understanding on chiropractic care and decided to commit. They have a very systematic practice that includes x-rays and nerve scans on site at the clinic, (these scans are used to gauge your progress),exercise programs, and numerous literature. The first visit they assess if they can be of any help, they take an initial x ray and nerve scan which is used as a base line to monitor your progress. Dr. Zsolt advised that my arch of life was reversed to how it should be which was causing an additional 60 pounds of weight on my head due to being misaligned, it certainly felt that way. I will never forget the first time I was adjusted, I felt a huge pressure taken away from my eyes, it was amazing. I was so excited I jumped up and exclaimed my excitement about the new sensation, the relief! After a few visits it became clear that this centre was more than just for chiropractic work, they are building a community. They give back to the community in numerous ways, whether it be hosting community dinners, fundraising for different causes, or hosting educational events, above all they truly care about their patients. Dr. Zsolt not only encouraged my newfound interest in chiropractic work but encouraged me to work on other facets of my life, he suggested to create a goal board to assist in achieving my goals. I took this advice to heart and I wrote my goals on a big poster board. I started with just three things I really wanted to improve or start to work on, I hung it in my living room, when I went to bed I took it to my bedroom. I saw it every day "15 minutes of weights, Yoga 3x a week, and 'be kind to self'". I started yoga, I lifted my 5 pound weights, and I started to practise self care. I had to change my goal board after a week to 'Daily yoga' as I was already exceeding my initial goal. I had to use the weights longer as I wasn't challenged enough. I educated myself on the importance of self care. Goal setting is so important, and Dr. Zsolt reminded me of this. He truly takes a personal interest in his patients and encourages them not only by giving great advice but genuinely cares and checks in on how you are doing I hope everyone gets a chance to meet Dr. Zsolt as he's quite a passionate and inspirational person. My experiences at Focus chiropractor has been absolutely wonderful for me and my family. The office is always warm and welcoming that my children enjoy going in and visiting the people that go and work there. Always with our health in mind the staff of focus are always willing to help us in any need. There are products in office but it is never pushed upon us. Before attending I was unaware of how much toxins and stuff I was really doing that hindered my body's true natural ways. After being shown a healthier way in many aspects of a lifestyle that can maintain my health ,along with these adjustments, I had dropped weight and started to see more clearly. Dr Zolt and his wife and staff are genuine interested in wanting to improve your health so you can be living a healthier lifestyle. The proof is in the care they take in assessing the problems and making a plan that works for you. My husband had x-rays done and had confirmed his trouble spots, and after the first couple adjustments seen a noticeable difference in the ability to move and think. Doing his part on the excersises and changes in lifestyle really did the job with these adjustments. My son has a disability that other doctors were unable to pin point.. after a few months of care he had grown so much independance that the results can't be denied. So all in all.. a great office of caring staff and positive results.

I am blown away by then service I have received so far. I've only been adjusted on a couple of occasions when it was an emergency situation, and I just kind of assumed that was the protocol - go in, get adjusted in 5 mins, and pay an outlandish cost. The intro promo price is phenomenal, including x rays so you can see just where your spine is sitting. Being able to see the problems that Ive been having, plus more that I didn't even know I had was very eye-opening. Every single employee I spoke to was so helpful, empathetic, and kind. The doctor spent my entire appointment with me on both visits and was so easy to talk to. She even asked questions that caused me to bring up more information that I deemed irrelevant, that may actually have been caused by my spine/hips and may be improved just with being adjusted. The appointments were very educational, informative, and personal, and the doctor truly cares. I'm very excited to start on a plan that will help improve and mitigate my posture and issues. I cannot recommend this place enough.

So approximately 3 months ago I called for an emergency appt. I've seen probably 12 chiropractor in my life . I'm 59 years old , I had a horse accident when I was about 16. I compressed, shattered and cracked 4 vertebrae on n my low back. Spent few weeks in Chilliwack hospital in traction. Told I probably wouldn't walk again. I was young and healthy and bounced back shortly thereafter. Fast forward 40 plus years. Numerous appt with many different chiropractor. No Chiropractor has done for me what Dr Scoltz has! When I went to that appointment. I was using ice at least 10 hours out of my waking hours. Popping pain pills like they were going out style. I walked into focus chiropractor in tears. EVERY step caused me unbelievable pain! Currently I have NOT used ice or pain meds for at least 12 weeks ! I got my MOBILITY back!!! I'm over joyed. I riding my bike , going for long walk. Working out at GoodLife. Life is grand. Im beyond grateful what Focus Chiropractor has done for me. I HIGHLY recommend it for whatever reason you need to feel better!!!

Not a great experience. They pump you up at the beginning and get you in as often as they can in a "plan". I informed that my back was not getting any better after a couple weeks. No change in my service to address my constant lower back pain. Went back to my old chiropractor, Dr koss. Better after 1 visit. No interest in ever going back. Also be sure to pay close attention to your billing statement as I was charged $20 for the key fob and $20 for 2 small pieces of foam. Neither of which was I informed there was any additional cost for and in fact I was told specifically that the foam was included with my treatment. I did call them on it and it was refunded. But as far as I'm concerned it shouldn't have come to that. Pay close attention to their hours of operation as it is not convenient at all for most people.
