I am so happy that I found Dr Michaux and Vonni! They are both so caring and wonderful. Dr Michaux is very attentive and really takes his time to explain things to you and ensure you are comfortable (as much as you can be! Haha). I first came to Dr Michaux on an urgent call just before my bridal shower as I suddenly hurt my back. I was so grateful that I could be seen and I am very glad to continue my care with him.

How can I not promote this business to the full extent of my abilities? Since walking in the front door and being greeted in such a welcome and warm manner by the always pleasant Vonni, I have looked forward to every visit with her and Dr. Brian Michaux. I have been having problems with my lower back for years. Now, at the ripe age of 32, I have lived most of my adult life with these problems. Unlike any other care I have received, Dr. Brian immediately had me in front of an X-ray to further investigate the issue. Wait...X-ray? I thought that...wait...no one has ever done that! Oh, it shows the problem right away and we can work together to fix it in a prompt manner? WHY DOESN'T EVERYONE DO THIS?? Go. Go now. Any pain or discomfort, this is the place to get the treatment. Do it. I mean it. Go now.

Dr. Michaux provides excellent chiropractic services. He does a thorough assessment and his treatments are carefully planned and in keeping with his patient's wishes. He and Vonni make an excellent team and it is a pleasure to visit his office.

I had never been to a chiropractor before but at the suggestion of my RMT who highly recommended Dr. Michaux, I decided to take a chance to see if he could help with severe back pain and tendinopathy. The welcome I received by Vonni at the front desk made me feel at ease and then I was able to really talk to Dr. Michaux about what was hurting. He really took the time to listen and address my concerns. His technique is extremely gentle and just this weekend I had a full day where I felt like my old self. I'm a 54 year old male. I really like Brian's approach to helping me with my back and neck issues. He does a thorough initial analysis which he shares fully (I learned a lot about myself), and on-going tests by which to assess progress. His treatments have been effective, and they're not uncomfortable (I was pleasantly surprised to see that the methods of treatment have really improved since the 1970's when I last went). He's been giving me exercise to do to help myself at home and at work. The treatments have helped me a great deal. Also, Vonni in the front office is also a joy to work with. I would highly recommend Brian if you're looking for a chiropractor.

From the minute you walk in the door you're greeted by Vonni, who is the most pleasant and easy to talk to individual. When I'm having a stressful day and I spend 5 minutes talking to Vonni, I'm instantly in a better mood. The pleasant atmosphere alone will make you want to come back. I've dealt with my far share of back pain as I have an S curve from scoliosis, injuries from rugby and a recent car accident has made my back much worse. The adjustments and exercises that Brian gives have helped with relief and helping to straighten out my problem areas. I was a bit hesitant to come here in the beginning as I've had a bad experience with a chiropractor before, but the care and attention that Brian gives his patients is second to none. My first appointment we spent discussing my issues and what the best approach would be that I felt comfortable with, I knew then I was in good hands. You won't find a better Chiropractor clinic in the lower mainland.

I've been coming to get my back adjusted by Dr. Brian since the beginning of the year due to chronic backaches and pains. Dr. Brian takes his time to evaluate my situation and carefully adjusted my spine, which has proven beneficial to my problems during my pregnancy journey. I am nearing the end of my third trimester and Dr. Brian has done a great value to my overall health, mood, spine and helping my sleep altogether. His exercise recommendations and gentle adjustments during my pregnancy has helped a substantial amount and I always leave feeling relieved, full of energy and revitalized. My husband had recently started seeing Dr. Brian for his hips, neck and back. As his first time seeing a chiropractor, he was very impressed with the relief he had felt during the first few visits and wish he could have gone sooner for his chronic hip pains. I couldn't recommend Dr. Brian enough! Vonni is a wonderful lift to our visits each time and very cheerful to talk with, if you have any questions about your visits, Vonni is your girl! I would highly recommend Sunny Side Chiropractic over any other practice for many reasons. I have been going to Sunny Side for about a year and a half with a terrible back injury. For those who are hesitant about trying chiropractic, this might help: I have been to other chiropractors and in comparison Dr. Brian's treatments are the most "gentle" and precise. He takes his time to assess before making corrections. Vonni at the front office is super sweet and friendly and she always has toys and activities (sticker books, colouring books) for my little ones while I visit the clinic. Highly recommended!!

I never thought I would go to a chiropractor again after a bad experience years ago with another chiropractor. My daughter and son in law started going to Dr. Michaux and told me that he was fantastic and that I really should give it a try. They were right. I have been suffering for years from back and neck pain and dizziness which was diagnosed as vertigo. After an extensive examination and xrays Dr. B found that I am really out of alignment. I have been attending for treatments 3 times a week for the last month and feel so much better. Not completely better yet but I know that keeping up with treatments, and doing the exercises Dr. B recommends, I will see a major improvement.

Dr. Brian and Vonni have been nothing but great to me and my family. I arrived after a accident and no other doctor could find out why I was in pain. He took the time figure it out with the first visit being an hour he could spend the time to figure out what’s what and also how to fix it.
