My experience with Restoration Chiropractic has been excellent to say the very least. Dr. Mains has been very thorough in his examinations and the chiropractic treatments have been very effective for myself and my entire family. Trevor is extremely informative and progressive with his treatment plans and the clinic also offers free educational classes and seminars dealing with many of the important issues surrounding modern day health and wellness. My personal results with Dr. Mains speak for themselves. My initial x-ray's showed a significant forward postural deviation in my head and neck (over 25mm displaced from damage that occurred over 10 years previous) as well as zero natural curve left in my neck. After 7 months of treatments my head and neck are now currently showing a displacement of only 3mm and my natural curve has almost returned completely. We have also been addressing chronic low back pain from an injury to two individual discs sustained over 14 years ago. At this point in time, the low back pain has been alleviated and we are working on strengthening the affected region and have made significant improvements in correcting the spinal deviations in the low back area. Trevor's new age approach to health and wellness as a whole definitely aligns with our family's approach to healthy living. It is extremely refreshing to have a doctor who shows this level of care and progressive modern thinking as opposed to simply addressing all spinal issues with the standard snap, crack, and pop system. It is completely worth the time for anyone dealing with neck, back or any health issues related to the spine to at least take advantage of an initial consultation and the follow up doctor's report with Trevor. You will not regret it.

The thought of this, initially, made me uncomfortable due to having adjustments on my spine, however, after being referred to Dr. Mains from a friend I could not be happier that I took the plunge! It was like a scam. They don’t even accept direct billing to icbc for one. Not worth my time or money at all!! I went in for an adjustment after questioning them already. I was adjusted in only 1 area!! My upper back when so many other areas were sore. I was told come back 2-3 times this week and we can adjust those one at a time. That’s like $200+ in 1 week!!! I went to a new chiro I was adjusted in all areas and felt amazing after and I’m still going to my new place. Best decision I ever made.

Both my children and I go to Dr. Trevor Mains for chiropractic care. Our spinal assessments and subsequent doctor's reports provided great insight into the state of our spines and a personalized care plan was established for each of us accordingly. As a result of his assessment on my daughter, we became aware of the fact she has scoliosis. Due to early detection and her young age (he provides free spinal assessments for children!!), we are confident Dr. Mains can greatly improve her scoliosis through his specialized, spinal correction training. So glad I had my kids assessed too!! Dr. Mains provides a thorough, spinal care plan for each of his patients and also gives free, informational seminars which are an excellent way to increase your knowledge of how to live a healthy lifestyle and become aware of things which affect such a lifestyle and your health in general. An added bonus is the fact there are never any long waits for your appointment and there is plenty of free parking available in front of his office, all of which leads to a very quick and easy turnaround for appointments. I’ve been a client of Dr Mains since 2014. I was skeptical at first because three chiropractors warned me that a chiropractor can not restore any curvature of the spine. Dr Mains never put pressure on me and was honest that he couldn’t guarantee huge results in older adults but could definitely stop the deterioration of disks that had accumulated over the years. I was especially drawn to his stated choice to go beyond the pain control model which is what mainstream chiropractors are trained in and help people actually restore their strength and health. I was 65 at that time - still figuring I could live forever. I was grateful that he could help me assess my own spinal health through yearly x-rays. A couple of places in my spine weee showing fairly drastic wear but pain from that was only intermittent. Stiffness and random sharp aches and loss of height were definitely noticeable complaints at that time. I am a dancer and generally an athletic sort, and I was getting worried about getting old and losing my ability to continue doing what I love most. I am glad I followed my intuition and decided to go for it. The first several months were frustrating because so many of my poor habits were being challenged by thrice weekly visits. After the first six months I noticed I was missing several of the old habitual pains. The x-rays didn’t show rapid results in restoring my curvatures but my forward bending neck actually straightened out and those stiff necks I used to wake up with became a thing of the past. After a year I was feeling so much better overall that I decided to continue. Shape shifting in our reality takes a lot longer than it does in Star Trek and I was curious how far I could go. After all aren’t I going to live forever? So seven years later, at 72, I’ve gained an inch in height — three years ago my doctor scratched his head when the data from my yearly physical was in front of him. He didn’t even make a comment about it and every year since then he doesn’t even notice that I’m still maintaining that extra inch. I’m now on a twice a month schedule of adjustments. My last x-ray show a couple of millimetres of increased curvature in my lower spine. As I said shape shifting in our reality takes time. I’m looking forward to see what new minute changes show up in the next year and beyond. After all, doesn’t everyone want to live forever? And if not, doesn’t everyone want a pain free and unrestricted body? Oh yes, by the way, I do highly recommend Trevor’s Restoration Chiropractic. His prices are humane. He is personable and down to earth and his staff are professional and personable as well. It’s been more than worth the investment for me.
