I had my first appointment with a new Chiropractor today at Compliment Health. The office is in the West Van Rec Center on the 2nd floor. Receptionist Barb was friendly and helpful : ) and Dr. Bob Hafizi is a terrific chiropractor. I was able to explain my problem, and he understood me, then explained the reason for it and how he was going to fix it! And it made perfect sense! I have been receiving chiropractic care for more than 20 years, so I know this is not always the case. The treatment provided involved something called active release technique I believe? He definitely isolated the problem areas right away and I had a great adjustment. Thank you so much Dr. Bob!

Absolutely fantastic clinic and atmosphere. Very outgoing and knowledgable doctor. You will be in good hands and one thing I love about Dr. Hafizi is that he also helps you out about your other health issues if he can. He is always smiling and changes my mood each time I go in for my treatment. I had a nagging shoulder ache that got to the point where I couldn't even sleep on my left side. So I booked an appointment with Dr. Hafizi. After a thorough examination he was able to explain to me in a way I could understand the problems with the interactions with my muscles and tendons in that area. And now after only my third visit and because of his skilled hands I feel 10 times better and have much better sleeps. His laser treatment has helped immensely as well. I highly recommend Dr. Hafizi at Complement Healthcare.

Dr. Bob has helped me with injuries to my lower back and shoulder in the middle of two different tennis tournaments. He takes his time to diagnose the problem and offers targeted treatments that really help the healing process. Dr. Bob also gave me great advice on rest and icing with the remaining matches of each tournament in mind. Very goal oriented. I would recommend Dr. Bob to anyone who wants to get back to his or her sport safely and asap after injury.

I have had a great experience with the acupuncturist, Dr. Taslimi. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I initially started microneedling treatments due to the acne spots I had. The treatments made my skin much more smoother, toned and almost 80% of my acne spots were disappeared. Also the combination of the acupuncture and topical cream treatments helped substantially in preventing the acne re-occurrence which I had been experiencing for more than 7 years, specially around my menstruation cycles. I also had needle and laser acupuncture treatments for my colitis issue which helped to reduce the symptoms in a great extend. I strongly recommend her.

I have had some acupuncture sessions with Dr Fateme Taslimi. She did a great job to me. When I first went to her to do acupuncture I was in doubt about doing it. But I really needed to do something to my face. I felt all parts of my face were gradually sagging . I went there for facial rejuvenation but first Dr Taslimi asked me a lot of questions about my diet , my feeling , my sleep and all of my habits.Then she started a whole body treatment to me. After the first treatment I felt great and now it is my 10th session with her. She not only worked on rejuvenating my face but she also worked on a lot of different places in my body regarding my other problems. At that time I felt anxious, weak and totally out of balance. But I feel my hormones and total condition of my body is in balance now. Even my cold hands and feet are warm now. I feel ten years younger, full of energy and I can sleep better now. I have also been suffering from sinusitis since my nose job. I have consulted with many specialists but their treatment were just temporary. Dr Taslimi is also doing acupuncture on my sinuses and I feel much better now. I feel all parts of my body is rejuvenating, everything works better in my body. I really recommend her for acupuncture. She has a remarkably good command of her work.

My family has been treated by Dr Bob Hafizi for many years and we can't say enough positive things about our experience at Complement Healthcare. My daughter suffered from a repetitive ankle strain while playing competitive field hockey. After receiving laser therapy treatment from Dr Bob as well as orthotics, she was able to compete on the pitch again. My son received excellent care for a knee injury and neck issues he sustained after a hard fall ski racing. Dr Bob treated his knee with laser therapy and ART and relieved his tight neck and upper back. He was able to ski again after a few treatments. My son is an avid golfer and also sees Dr Bob to maintain his hip and back mobility so that he can continue to compete at a high level. I have scoliosis and have suffered with chronic back and hip problems. After seeing other chiropractors, I can highly recommend Bob Hafizi. He takes the time to listen and explain his treatment plan. Through his ability to identify and treat my problematic areas, I am able to continue my active life skiing, biking, playing tennis, and strength training. I am always amazed how much better I feel after just one or two treatments!
