Good things: Knowledgable practicioners, the first appointment (assessment) was insightful with good tips shared re: how to fix my problems (from a prevention perspective), beautiful office, smooth admin processes, convenient location. I disliked: Time with the chiropractors was highly transactional e.g. ~5 minutes for actual treatment - You're in, out, and they're onto the next patient. They use electric tools vs. manual manipulation and when I called out that I did not feel the significant reduction in pain that I've gained from other chiros, I was asked to just trust their process. I went back once more, still no clear positive results, so i went back to my old chiropractor. Less convenient location, but at least he takes his time with his patients. Context: Chiro appointment for back pain, saw both chiros over 2 consecutive appointments.

My plantar fasciitis was fixed here in 2013 by Dr Lyons. When it reoccured in 2020 and I could not shift it for love nor money, I finally remembered Dr Lyons and returned to KingWest. I am only sad I did not remember her earlier, as I wasted months trying other methods. other people and suffering badly. My advice - just call Dr Lyons. Thank you, King West.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lyons for a number of years now - for both periodic problems and also regular maintenance. Our experience has been 100% positive - treatment is always quick (we get seen within minutes of arriving at the clinic) and the results are remarkable - after living with chronic head and neck pain for years, today I can say I am headache-free 90% of the time. Everyone who works at the clinic is incredibly helpful and friendly. Booking (online or at reception) is super fast and easy. On top of everything, Dr. Lyons herself is a truly lovely person and it is a pleasure to see her. We are so glad we found KWC!

Do not see Dr. Cynthia Chan at King West Chiro in the PATH. You will be treated like you are on a conveyer belt of clients. Very transactional - no compassion, education, insights or problem solving - just lie on a table and get the "activator" popped into different parts of your body, with no explanation. I went to King West Chiro for almost two months a couple times a week and would leave with new issues in places i never even had issue before. Was in so much pain after these visits I had to miss work and stop working out. I would tell Dr. Chan I was in pain and still, no explanation or concern. No other techniques used, other than the activator. Very impersonal and weird experience there.

I honestly would stay away. I appreciate that I was given a same day appointment but frankly, I was not given a clear diagnosis nor was a treatment plan in place. I was given shock treatment after an unclear diagnosis and asked to come back the next day for more treatment. My symptoms flared up so bad I couldn’t sleep for more than 4 hours which wasn’t the case before. After the second treatment, I asked how many more would be needed since I was uninsured and paying out of pocket. Again I was given an unclear answer of “6-9 but can’t say for sure.” At this point, I couldn’t even walk or sit without excruciating pain. I ended up getting a massage which relieved the pain enough for me to sleep. After consulting a sports doctor, three physiotherapists and two masseuse, it was clear that a shock gun treatment only made the condition worse thereby prolonging recovery. They are only here to take your money.

The people working the clinic are absolutely horrible. Poor directions (when you are in pain walking around because you have not been told where they are located is very annoying). The receptionist is far from empathetic. The massage rooms are run down and dirty (with things on the floor). Just not a Sutherland Chan facility. Absolutely the worst frond desk crew I have ever seen at a "medical" facility. Massage was excellent. Ask for Faisal.

Took 12 Chiro/spine adjustment sessions with Dr. Kristine. She is very nice and I believe a competent Chiropractor. However, I didn't feel any noticeable improvement even after 12 sessions. I think using Chiro device was useless. I guess she couldn't diagnose the real problem and honestly pain got aggravated a lil. Now I am seeing another Chiro in downtown who's using manual procedure and noticed a significant improvements. My neck pain almost disappeared while upper back is very mild. Customer service is nice.

Clinic is simple with no bells and whistles. Given its a downtown clinic you would hope they would keep the facility bright and more recent with the surrounding businesses in the area. In any case, it does not bother me at all as I am there to relax and from that respect. had a great massage. Just one suggestion perhaps they can add some courtesy checks in the process. like handing a glass of water etc.

I enjoyed my prenatal massage. However the actual massage started almost 10 minutes late and still finished at the same scheduled time so although I paid for a 60 minutes massage it was closer to 50 minutes. Based on that I'm unsure if I would go back.

They do not hesitate to refer patients to other practitioners if they think a treatment that they do not offer at the clinic can improve a health outcome. I am very suspicious of the negative review below. They can't be describing the clinic I've been going to KWC for more than 5 years - friendliest front desk staff you'll find anywhere - I've never been there once when staff didn't give me a huge smile and made me feel welcome. I injured my back about 5 years ago and quickly developed chronic pain. Within 6 months, the chronic pain became an occasional flare up, and now it's pretty much gone. Oh, and their massage therapists are all really great, though I do miss Amber - thumbs of steel, where are you?! But, I digress... King West Chiro, you're awesome!

I went to see Dr.Elisa Santiago for the first time. I was unsure what to expect, she started our first meet asking me what my health goals were and I dumped all of them on her. She was attentive and supported all my goals and with every treatment/session, we tackled one goal at a time. After only five sessions, the results have been amazing. Parts of my health I thought I was going to have to manage my whole life have been relieved. The effects of treatments have lasted longer than other treatments I have tried. I would highly recommend Dr.Santiago.
