I've been seeing Dr. Haughton now for over 3 years. Before I visited him I had zero knowledge on the importance of regular chiropractor care. I have never had much back ache or strain, but what I've gained from regular adjustments is so much deeper than that. I feel secure knowing that I take regular care of my spine and I am confident that as I age, I will not face the pain and struggle that many people face. Health is so important, and maintaing a healthy body from head-to-toe is integral for a care free happy life. Genuine - Detailed - Professional - Overall an amazing Doctor. Dr. Haughton really blew me away with the amount of knowledge and education he provided me from the first visit. I discovered Ascension Chiropractic on Groupon and the included an initial assessment, X-rays, Posture Evaluation and a choice of 3 of 6 adjustments. Great deal! I was able to get in for my evaluation right away, which I was thrilled about because my body has been screaming for an adjustment for quite some time. Sarah got back to me very quick and we were greeted with smiles as soon as we came in. I filled out all of my initial paperwork prior online so I was able to start my posture evaluation as soon as I got to the office. VERY EFFICIENT. Dr. Haughton was very sincere and honest about how he operates his business. I have been to several chiropractors before and never done such a thorough and detailed report. He took x-rays of my entire spine, and hips. He was very specific with how these were taken and I could tell that he was extremely detail-oriented. I have been wanting to get an x-ray done for a long time because it didn't feel right. The first day I was not able to get an adjustment because a part of Dr. Haughtons philosophy is empowering you through education. He accomplishes this by hosting an introductory class. I could honestly go on for hours about what I learned in the 2 hours I spent there, but I truly believe that if you have come this far you should just go in and find out for yourself. You will not regret it. I know that Dr. Haughton spent time looking at my file because of the way my x-rays were reviewed. After his class I was able to identify areas in my own images that were of concern. I was completely blown away by my pictures! There is a lot of work to be done on my spinal health due to sports injuries, and traumas. I am SO HAPPY I found this clinic. I feel like their philosophies align with my core values and views on health.

Dr. Haughton is simply amazing! It has been almost a year since I and my husband started to receive his care and my neck & back pain is mostly gone. Somehow he feels where your pain is and he fixes it. We feel happy and relaxed every time we visit his office. The most important thing is that he really cares about his patients. For our Asia trip, he searched for local doctors in case we have pain over there. We were impressed with his willingness to help us! Sarah is also wonderful. I've seen a number of chiropractors over the years: those that adjust everyone the same for "pain relief" and those who are committed to long term health and change. Dr. Haughton is one of "the good ones" ! I came to Ascension Chiropractic Health Centre through a Groupon deal, but from the moment I interacted with Sarah to set up my appointment, I knew this wasnt going to be a typical Groupon engagement where they're too busy to care for you. I've been coming faithfully for over 3 months and have seen dramatic changes in my pain and energy levels, and posture. This feels like a real change, not just a short-term pain reliever. I have been frequenting Dr. Haughton's centre for 3 years (and counting). I continue to do so after moving from downtown Ottawa out West (which makes this at least a 45 minute drive one-way for me). I continue to go because of the care I receive by Dr. Haughton and Sarah on a weekly basis. Even though this is a chiropractic centre, they care about the overall health of their patients and participate actively in every aspect of healthcare. The staff here are very professional, take their time (I never feel rushed), are knowledgeable (have always answered whatever questions I had to my satisfaction - on all health topics), have a great approach (I feel they have tailored my care to my holistic approach to health); I have never waited for long in the waiting area as I do at other clinics, communication is excellent (simple and succinct), attitude is excellent (very friendly and open minded approach), and they have cooperated with my other doctor (invested time) and worked together for my health. Needless to say, thank you for helping me enjoy my best health.
