I had severely injured my right shoulder playing hockey last winter. I was sent to two orthopedic surgeons both said the damage was too much to repair and I did have good movement they both concluded surgery could cause more damage. I was however experiencing pain in my shoulder and arm along with pins and needles in my hand. I have been a patient of Dr Blair for a few years so I mentioned my situation to him and let him know the pain and discomfort I was in. Dr Blair came up with a plan eliminate my pain. Within 3 weeks of treatment I was feeling better. Its been 4 months and I cant believe how great I feel, I may never get the strength back in my shoulder but I can not thank Dr Blair enough for relieving the pain. I would highly recommend this clinic for any of your Chiropractic needs.

Sometimes, a little desperation and a lot of luck will combine to provide you with the perfect solution. The sudden onset of tinnitus and the resulting sleep deprivation had me shuffling between my doctor, various walk-in clinics, audiologists, acupuncturists, X-rays, MRIs etc. with no relief. The only thing I hadn’t tried was a chiropractor and I needed to find someone who was available on a long weekend - the only one who would accommodate me was the Upper Oakville Chiropractic Center. My initial phone call was handled with friendliness, and efficiency. Intake forms were emailed to me within minutes, and I was scheduled for an appointment the following morning. Dr. Blair Christink takes a deeply holistic approach and doesn’t just focus on the physical aspects of the issue. He made me aware of how things like diet, lack of sleep, stress, and anxiety can trigger and compound problems. He took time to explain my X-rays and even offered to have them made available to a Chiropractor friend out west, for a second opinion. Initially I had appointments 3 times a week, and I very quickly started to see reductions in the tinnitus, as well as improvements in my ability to deal with it . A welcome side benefit was a significant decrease in the number of headaches that I’d consistently been having for years. Dr. Christink taught me how to manage the discomfort as well as what steps to take to reduce the intensity. Emotionally, mentally and physically I was doing considerably better, and within a month I was down to bi-weekly, and then weekly visits. The other half of the team is Sybil who runs the front desk with efficiency and grace . She takes care of phone calls, intake forms, scheduling appointments, payments, accounts, and probably a hundred other things behind the scenes. She treats every patient like they are the only ones that matter, and I honestly felt special, the very first time I walked in. This is an amazing place with a dedicated, knowledgeable, and empathetic team. Recommended without hesitation.

Dr. Healey discusses what needs to be done and helps you to understand the benefits of the process before he begins. Always a pleasure to go in. Moreover, his guidance and knowledge have given us a new outlook on the human body and its' functions, and how to approach health issues. They said my spine was misaligned and showed me x-rays, had me visit 3 times a week for 12 weeks, visits lasted 10 minutes or less and the only thing that was done was done using the adjustment pen. A waste of time and $$$ which is unfortunate because the staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable but the treatment was rushed and chronically ineffective.

Dr. Blair and Sybil are a warm and friendly team, they make you feel comfortable right away. I went for Chiropractic care as I had a severe low back pain. Dr. Blair helped alleviate that pain but the biggest surprise was I found the varicose vein pain in my legs went away. The pain in my legs because of varicose vein was constant and some days it was more painful than others. Under Dr. Blair's care it completely disappeared and I am so grateful, as I had thought this pain was going to stay with me forever. This happened within 2-3 weeks since I started the treatment. I suffered with lower back pain due to a childhood injury & didn't realize I could be pain free. As you age, your pain will get worse & it doesn't need to.
