First time in my life that I've actually looked forward to any kind of treatment for myself. Foundation Chiropractic is welcoming in every sense of the word. From Agatha's genuinely kind greeting, to the open concept waiting room with inspiration all around you. Dr. Jen and Jason encourage questions and concerns and anything they can do to make your treatments and life easier. I'm usually quite reserved and somewhat tentative when it comes to new places, but Dr Jason did a fantastic job of walking me through each step of the treatment, explaining things before he did them, but more importantly explaining the 'why' behind what we were doing so that I had a solid understanding and trust in what I was going to be dedicating myself to. The office has an amazing warm aesthetic like that of a coffee shop as opposed to the expected cold atmosphere of the average medical clinic. I don't mind coming to my visits or bringing my 2 year old daughter with me. There's a beautiful kid's corner with a small table and colouring available for her. When I'm there with her everyone comes to say hi and makes her feel welcome. That really takes the stress off of fitting the treatments into my schedule. They are also very informative and flexible. They give you welcome email reminders, a list of your appointment dates and times well ahead of schedule so you can plan your life, if you need to adjust a date that you cannot make they are very accommodating, they provide literature for exercises that you can do at home, and just encourage you to live a healthy life. Even their Instagram account is helpful and inspirational. I can't say enough about the positive experience that I have had at Foundation Chiropractic. You are treated as a friend the moment you enter the door.

Cannot say enough about the amazing team at foundation. Dr. Shamira saved us BIG time. I started to develop serious neck kinks toward the end of my pregnancy. It would get stuck, not able to move it for 3-5 days and it was really painful. She helped relieve the pain in my neck and helped me to heal throughout my postpartum recovery - both physically and mentally! She was so kind, thoughtful and patient as I explained how new motherhood was going at the start of every session, on top of how I was healing physically. She also specializes in infant chiropractic care. If you have a fussy baby, don’t walk, RUN to see her. Our son was an absolute nightmare for the first 8 weeks of his life. He wouldn’t sleep and when he was awake he would cry constantly. Classic “colic” description. After one night when he wouldn’t sleep for more than 10 minutes and cried for 6 hours straight, she recommended I bring him in for a consultation. I admit I was intimidated as I hadn’t ever heard about infant chiropractic care, but she took the time to explain it thoroughly easing my concerns. After one session with Dr. Shamira, he slept 6 hours in a row and was as happy as can be when he was awake. SAVED us. He’s now the happiest little baby (5 months), crushing his milestones and sleeps regularly 11-12 hours at night. We’re so incredibly thankful.

I’ve had the pleasure of being followed by both Dr.Jason & Dr. Jennifer. It all began when my husband’s old whiplash injury came back to haunt him. He began his treatment in March 2019 & convinced me to get started as he had the quickest results ever. Dr.Jason began treating me for several old sport injuries and some health issues. Within a month’s time he managed to fix so many things. I suffer from chronic sciatica, I have a knot in my femur, I have a pinched nerve in my back which causes weakness in my right arm. Basically, I’m a pack of problems that Dr.Jason was able to alleviate in a month’s time. I had to briefly stop my treatments as I am pregnant. However, at 28 weeks my sciatica came back, full pin and worse than ever. I began seeing Dr.Jennifer who specializes with pregnancy and babies. However, the main reason I thought I was going in was "preventative" measures and to maintain a healthy spine. I have been to many fancy chiropractic clinics in Yorkville and the financial district in Toronto. So I am so happy to be able to find Dr Shamira in Oakville! The level of care and clinic organization she provides really surpasses any other clinics I have been to. The whole team at Foundation are always happy, accommodating and welcoming. They have little chairs for toddlers and baby-friendly washrooms. Highly recommended for the whole family! Overall, my back feels a lot better, my posture has improved and I am a lot less self conscious about my hunch back from being on the computer all day. I had bever been to a chiropractor previously because I have always been quite nervous about twisting and cracking. Jennifer is a very friendly and dedicated individual to her field of Chiropractic. Her style in not invasive but truly affective. I came to her clinic with neck and back pain which started affecting my daily work and sleep. Not sure what I did but I am guessing volleyball and working at a desk for a good portion of the day had something to do with it. Jennifer fixed me up in a couple sessions with no major contortionist positions like traditional Chiropractors do. If you are afraid of the traditional chiro, go see Jennifer as her method is gentle but very affective. I go for maintenance every so often as well which keeps any spinal pains at bay. I have no hesitation to recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for results without the worry or pain.

Truly Exceptional! I've actually been to a number of Chiropractic clinics in Oakville as I didn't feel I was finding the right clinic which fit my needs...until I walked into Foundation Chiropractic. What strikes you is the sheer passion and knowledge that both Dr. Jason an Dr. Jennifer have for Chiropractic care. The first visit involved a detailed neuro-structural exam and what was refreshing was having Dr. Jason tell me that he couldn't perform an adjustment until he saw my x-rays, as he would have no idea if he would make a pre-existing condition worse. It's this level of attention to detail and thoroughness that makes you realise you're in very good hands. Over time I have noticed a drastic improvement in my condition and while there have been times where I pull or tweak a muscle, the recovery is much quicker. Case in point after my most recent assessment after a period of 16 weeks, the improvement in the results for the structural exam speak for themselves. Aside from offering Chiropractic care, Foundation Chiro is a centre for well-being. Providing exercises to try at home with lots of very useful and uplifting messages all over the impeccable and spotless clinic. I loved it so much my 3 year old daughter also sees Dr. Jennifer for constipation issues and in a very short time we have seen excellent results with her too! I cannot recommend this place highly enough and also want to give a huge shout-out to Agatha on the front desk - a friendly face with a beaming smile to always greet you, just the way you want to start a visit :)

We started seeing Dr. Jason because my daughter who loves soccer couldn't get through an entire game. She had severe chest pain and shortness of breath. She was told she had Exercise Induced Asthma. The puffers and steroid inhalers weren't working. The Asthma test came back negative. I didn't know what to do. A friend suggested we go see a chiropractor.
