I was afraid I have to live with sciatica pain till the rest of my life until I had my first treatment. After just one treatment my pain was almost gone. Julijana's (my mom) review : I had severe back pain last year (2017). After my CT scan I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and two bulge disks in the lumbar area (L4, L5 disk). Pain was so debilitating, I could walk only 2-5 minutes without pain. For 6 months I was trying many different therapies but I didn't have any result, it was the same 2-5 minutes. Thank you to Google I was able to find this amazing clinic and doctor Dr. Geisler who provides the spinal decompression therapy. In my case, after 10 therapies, I started feeling less pain and I was able to walk 20 minutes for the first time since my injuries. I am getting back my life. Now, after my 22 treatments I can walk for hours!! I highly recommend everybody who has this type of injury to try this therapy because for me it worked. If you dont feel results in the beginning dont give up, for me it took a bit longer. The therapy is not painful at all. I wish that this therapy becomes more well known because when I was looking there wasn't much information for this type of injury. I want to thank Dr. Geisler who provides this treatment in Ontario and I hope that more people find this clinic to help their spinal injury problems. I would give more stars if I could! :-)

The pain in my low back and the sciatica (referred pain) started about 3 or 4 years ago, gradually becoming acute and often disabling. I chose Dr. Geisler's clinic, as he has a spinal decompression table which he can set to target specific spaces between the vertebrae, allowing the discs to heal and keep the vertebrae apart, decreasing the pressure on the nerve(s). The pain gradually lessens and eventually goes away... My lower spine, discs and nerves were very unhealthy, so I assumed it would take quite awhile to heal, but I had significantly less pain after the first treatment. Now, a few months later, I mostly have no pain or only a little on occasion.. I was a physiotherapist and used to apply traction for sciatica, pulling on the entire spine, not the specific joint determined by Dr. Geisler depending on where the referred pain is, as he knows which nerves supply that area and where they leave the spine...he then programs the computer to specifically decompress that joint... It's simple, painless, non invasive and it works... Dr. Geisler is very nice, explains everything, answers all your questions and I feel that he genuinely cares and wants me to be pain free. His receptionist is very pleasant, kind and accommodating. ALL Covid rules are followed...it's safe to be there... I am SO grateful for his help.... Jill

I found Dundas Chiropractic in late 2018 after a particularly bad experience with another chiropractor in Oakville. I have seen a chiropractor off and on for most of my adult life, and I prefer a chiropractor who is thorough and attentive, working with both my physical issues as well as the psychological aspects that come from pain and discomfort. Dr. Geisler listens carefully and adjusts accordingly. He is happy to explain what he is doing and why, and will look to alternatives if I'm not responding to treatment. Wish I would have read the reviews! Anyone who has gone to a good chiropractor , will know this is a scam! Only chiro who has ever let me leave in pain, and could careless.who adjusts 1/2 your neck? Now the other side is super sore! This just makes sure you keep coming back for 3 appointments a week, that’s crazy!! But makes sense, when he adjusts one or two things and leaves you in pain. Even knowing I have a physical job, he still let me leave without proper treatment. This is not good practise and clearly in it for the money! Please don’t waste your money! Go see someone who is really in it for the right reasons and wants to see you better. I will never return to this place

A few months back, I was experiencing extreme lower back pain. It felt like I had pinched a nerve somewhere and while normally it would go away by itself after a few days, this time it had lasted weeks. It was even difficult to stand up for long periods of time. I finally decided to visit Dr. Geisler at Dundas Chiropractic upon a recommendation from my wife who's sciatica he successfully treated while she was pregnant. It literally took 2 sessions before the pain was completely gone. I haven't had trouble since, and I feel so good at this point that I don't even remember what I felt like prior to the treatment. Thank you so much to Dr. Geisler as well as the amazingly friendly and helpful Allison at the front desk.

Biggest waste of time for me Chiropractic wise. I saw the website and believe this clinic would be advanced to treat my back pain. When I first met Dr Geisler, he seemed quite pompous. I was OK with him being pompous because it gave me hope that he actually knew what he was doing. After telling Dr. Geisler my history he quickly made snide remarks about the previous chiropractors I met. He then began to use a metaphor to explain why my previous doctors were just estimating what the root problem of my back pain was and not actually treating my exact problem. Dr Geisler said "your doctor's said your pain is a pinched nerve. That is like the water is not coming out the garden hose. There is a multiple of possible reasons why water is not coming out the hose; water is off, kink in hose, hose is cut, etc. To say you have a pinched nerve is easy but what is causing that pinch? Or you may not even have a pinch nerve. It could be something else." I was happy when I heard this as I hoped he would fix me. He then fave me an x-ray and this is highly unusual for a chiropractor to do. Anyways he looked at the xray results right then and there and he exclaimed that my hips are not moving and I have a pinched nerve." Dr. Geisler said my hip is locked out of place and since it is locked out of place and not moving properly, the membrane is not getting enough water. This is causing the membrane to dehydrate and shrink and now is touching the nerve and pinching it. He said Once my hips are moving water will come to membrane and grow and not pinch anymore. I was excited to finally get my back fixed. 14 sessions later. REPEAT 14 SESSIONS LATER still same back pain. No better and slightly worse. I stopped wasting my money there. I tried another chiropractor and he fixed my back in 3 mins. As I laid down on the table this chiropractor lifted up my shirt and looked at my back and saw a bump on my L4 to L5 and said it slipped out of place. 3 mins later he popped it back in. Done. 1st session. Only 3 mins to treat it. Back is back to normal now. $900 waster at Dundas Chiropractic.

I found Dr Geisler and he's been a great help. Everyone there is professional and kind, and I appreciate the tips and advice for exercises to do outside of the office. In March 2012, with a copy of my MRI in my hand and a confirmed date for surgery to my lower back, I did a complete 180 degrees and went to see Dr. Geisler. The thought of back surgery was traumatic for me, so on the advice of a friend, I had googled 'spinal decompression' and was willing to try any alternative to back surgery. At this time I had difficulty walking because my left foot felt completely numb and the pain in my left calf was worst than the pain in my lower back. We started spinal decompression with adjustments as needed and by mid-April I was able to walk 4 Km a couple times a week. As soon as he thought I was ready, Dr. Geisler provided information and teaching to get me started on appropriate exercises for pain relief and to increase my tolerance for activity. It has been 4 years and I still see Dr. G for an occasional spinal decompression or adjustment related to poor posture or an over-exuberance when exercising. I am very grateful for the quality of life Dr. G's treatment plan has afforded me. The best thing about his treatment is Dr. G himself. He listens intently and fosters an environment that makes it easy to talk to him about what I was feeling on that particular visit. He reviewed my treatment plan on each visit with positive reinforcement. Dr. G's passion and commitment to his work is remarkable. Dr. Geisler is my fourth chiropractor over the last 15 years. Many chiros take a one-size-fits-all approach, and that's where Dr. Geisler differs. Instead of being sent to a pen filled with tables, wrapped in heat pads and having electrodes stimulate my muscles with the rest of the cattle, he gives me the treatment I need and not what I don't. He schedules the treatments according my progress and health, rather than by how many times he can ring the till per month. I've come to trust his competence and have confidence that if he tells me I'll be feeling better in the next couple of days after an adjustment, I can take it to the bank. Dr. Geisler is a highly competent, friendly and expert chiropractor who I rely on to keep my back and neck feeling good. I highly recommend him and will keep visiting until he decides to retire. If you need chiropractic care, you won't find better. Just stay away every third Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. That's mine.

I recently suffered from a bad case of sciatica , I contacted this clinic because of a personal referral and with a history of back issues , I didnt want to take any chances. From my initial phone call with the help of the friendly and professional receptionist I felt comfortable right away , Dr. Giesler set me up for spinal decompression treatments and almost immediately I started to improve. In no time I was back to my gym routine and back to playing hockey , my entire experience with this place has been 5 star, very personable yet professional staff made me feel very comfortable. What stood out with me the most is as soon as I was getting to the point where I didnt need intensive treatment, the doctor decreased my visits accordingly. Not having medical insurance, alot of people in general could manipulate someone's injury when you are vulnerable to try and squeeze as much money as they could. Not these people. when I first was introduced to Dr Geisler, 3 years ago, I was in constant pain due to lower back issues, pain down my right leg to my foot, and could not straighten up. A recent MRI indicated..2 herniated discs, stenosis, a degenerative disc, and I was getting very little sleep. I was scheduled for surgery in 3 months. After studying my MRI Dr Geisler suggested that Spinal Decompression Treatments had a high likelihood of success. We proceeded with the treatments over 2-3 months, following which the pain virtually disappeared and the surgery was cancelled. With regular, (daily) exercise/stretching regime (including yoga poses) my back is back to normal, am virtually pain free, and golfing regularly (and hitting the ball further/straighter than ever). After attending physio for 1 year with no success I knew I needed to try something else. I started treatment with Dr. Geisler for a herniated disc in my neck. I had constant nerve pain, numbness and weakness in my arms and neck. I could not carry out daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, or even driving.
