I started seeing Dr. Roach a year ago in Oct 2019. Having worked at a computer or desk my whole life, I was having neck stiffness/pain and migraines. Dr.Roach did such a great job of explaining his chiropractic approach and made sure I was comfortable with everything he was doing! It was my first chiropractic experience and I’m now a believer! I’m having much less neck pain and way few headaches/migraine progressively this past year! Would recommend to anyone who asks! Everyone at the office always has such a lovely smile greeting you when you go in as well!

I was encouraged to seek treatment from Dr Roach by my son. At the time I wasn't feeling any pain, but I was stiff, and just put it down to old age, accepting it as something I had to live with. I did have lower back pain from time to time, and at its worst it could lay me up for a few days. I also had some issues with my left leg and hip, including some that seemed related to issues with my circulation. I didn't seem to have much strength in my legs when I was walking, but again put that down to old age. Pretty soon after starting treatment, I had much greater flexibility in my neck and lower back. I'd become so used to the stiffness that I hadn't realised how stiff I was. I also noticed more energy in my legs. And then the covid19 shutdown struck. Just at that time, for some reason, for the first time in a long time I had an issue with my lower back. After some weeks without treatment, I also had stabbing pain in my hip, and clear evidence of circulation problems in the left leg again, including splotches on my ankle, and a puffy foot. Fast forward to return to treatment; within three treatments, the hip pain is gone, as has the puffiness in my foot, and most of the splotchiness. Having had a lot of experience with traditional medicine (Indian, Arab, Chinese), I understand holistic principles, so it makes sense to me that misalignment of the spine has an effect on the whole body and our health and I've certainly benefited from Dr Roach's treatments.

Dr. Roach maybe personable enough and his staff friendly enough, but if you are looking to correct a problem STAY AWAY AND DO NOT PUT YOURSELF UNDER HIS CARE. I am an accident victim of 2 years now and put myself back into his care. I first met Dr. Roach in 2010 with a minor complaint that my previous Chiropractor dealt with on a monthly or longer issue. He retired and moved from the province and Dr. Roach was recommended. I had no issues. In Sept 2016 I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and started treatment with Dr. Roach. In the beginning I had no issues no complaints due to the level of pain, restriction in motion and mental trauma received due to my injuries. Dr. Roach has treated me over 60 times from Sept 28, 2018 to March 2019. Not only have my appointments been limited to 60 seconds, if I was lucky 120 seconds per treatment, he took no note to my concerns or my complaints to no improvement. When asking about other modalities to be added to his treatment I was completely BLOWN off! I was told in no uncertain terms all I need is to stay on top of my appointments and he will get me better! Get me Better? I had a second opinion and exam preformed within HRM. As a chiropractor who supposedly is on top of concussion injuries and so forth, he completely misdiagnosed me. I am now dealing with the residual effects of a 2 year old concussion, a spine that is completely ceased up and am suffering as much as I was the first day I presented to Roach Chiropractic in September 2016. Would I recommend Roach Chiropractic? Definitely NOT. I would have to say any chiropractor in HRM would be better than this Charlatan. I totally believe he is only interested in lining his pockets with money. Your, your insurance or your personal insurance monies. NO Dr can properly assess and treat you within 60 seconds. Do your Health a favor as avoid this clinic as much as possible. I totally believe in Chiropractic care, until this person. ( I can't even use the term DR) I hope that one day I will recover from his care and get my life back!

Great and friendly staff and a doctor that knows his stuff! I've been a patient of Dr. Roach's since October 2019 and have experienced nothing but improvements in movement and pain. I used to experience headaches, upper back pain, and leg numbness from working in a harness for over three years, and, being a millennial, from constantly being on my phone and laptop. Since October I have seen drastic improvements in my neck and mid back, and no leg numbness. For years I had severe back pain. I was always told that it was due to a condition called "Spinal Stenosis". It was suggested to me to go see a chiropractor and maybe that would help with some of the pain. After seeing Dr. Roach once, it was confirmed that I do not have Spinal Stenosis, but a fracture that didn't heal correctly plus Scoliosis. As much as if broke my heart to hear, I knew Dr. Roach could help. I have been going twice a week for almost a month now and I'm already seeing a difference. I've always had unbearable back pain, but now it's not as severe, I can stand straighter and I sleep throughout the night. Dr. Roach is an amazing doctor and the rest of the staff are amazing and so friendly. They are always happy to help. I look forward to the weeks to follow :)

I've been dealing with lower back pain for over 11 years after injuring it. I've been going to a massage therapist for the last 6 years which was good for temporary relief but I was looking for something a little more permanent or at least longer lasting. After my first visit here with Dr. Boudreau, it was discovered that I was holding myself improperly. Seemingly what I thought to be protecting my lower back was actually maintaining it in a weakened state. Correcting how I hold my posture has made a drastic difference; I no longer fear my back getting thrown out doing every day activities. After my first actual adjustment, my range of motion increased incredibly. My reach behind myself increased by several inches on my left side. I'm able to turn my head further to the sides now making shoulder checks much easier while driving. The last thing, for me, the relief of mid back tension lasts longer after adjustments than massage is able to provide. I still go for massages but much less frequently.

My wife responded to a Facebook ad for a free spinal scan and assessment and asked if she could get one for me too. The scan was incredibly informative and matched all the points of discomfort we were feeling. We set out on the treatment path and I have to say that we've not felt this "aligned" and pain free for a very long time. It's amazing to me how many "secondary" symptoms one can feel when your spine (or other areas) is not aligned. Almost all of the secondary symptoms have disappeared. And that's just the treatment side of things. The ENTIRE staff is one of the most friendly I've encountered. On our second visit all of the staff we met on the first night remembered our names! To me that's quite impressive given the number of people they work with every day. I urge you to highly consider visiting for just the informative session. And if you do that, then you MUST give these folks serious consideration. I don't think you'll be disappointed. After all, your health is everything and you owe it to yourself to feel the best you can.

When I began visiting Roach Chiropractic, I was suffering from daily pain in my neck and shoulders. I was ingesting ibuprofen daily to deal with the pain. When I began my chiropractic care journey, I had just come in for an assessment because I received a free on as part of a referral promotion that was on at the time. I work in the dental field, and though I didn't think there was anything majorly wrong, I figured an assessment wouldn't hurt. Initially I went to Dr Roach because of a car accident but now see how important and effective chiropractic care is for the maintenance of the body and mind. I went in for pain relief but I had no idea how poorly my range of motion was or how past injuries were still a problem. Checking my blind spot when driving, being able to run without sore knees for example. I now can do these things without discomfort and worry of long term injuries. A few years back i went to Dr Clayton Roach, i have weight trained all my live and at one point was having extreme upper back pain after doing heavy bench press, went and seen Dr Clayton Roach and he did an assessment and detemind my upper 3 vertabrae were out of alinement. I’ve struggled years with migraines. I’ve tried every suggestion recommended by my family doctor. The medication did work, but I wasn’t a fan of the side effects. I decided to give Dr. Roach a chance, what did I have to lose! I’ve been going now twice a week for 2 months and I can honestly say my migraines have stopped and the headaches are recurring less and less. I can even touch my toes for the first time in my life. It wasn’t an immediate change that I noticed, but just as Dr.Roach said in his information session “It took years to cause the damage to my body, a chiropractor is not going to fix the damage overnight”. I would recommend his services to anyone. His clinic has very friendly staff who always make me feel welcomed.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, which eventually lead to neck, shoulder, back and leg pain. I tried every possible treatment plan and exercise program to reduce the pain and improve the symptoms of fasciitis, with no luck. I’m an active gal who bikes, hikes, gardening, tennis, cardio, golf, and kayaking. I enjoy the outdoors. I spoke with Dr Ben Boudreau, who is a great listener, professional and uber knowledgeable. He explained in the simplest terms how chiropractic care could help me regain strength, better posture, increased mobility and reduce daily pain from brain to toe, targeting the root cause, rather than the symptoms. I believed him. I made an appointment to start the process. I met Dr Boudreau and Dr Roach, and their team for the initial assessment. What I learned is chiropractic treatment is nothing like massage therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture and yoga. It’s about the root cause, starting at assessing the joints of the spine to find areas of nerve interference. The entire process and journey thus far has been an education worth the experience. My back and neck pain has disappeared, fasciitis has subsided and I feel great. I have been going to Dr. Roach for a couple of years now. I was having problems as a result of a car accident. After four years of physio I was sent to the pain management clinic in Halifax. That was my life I managed pain. My muscles were in a state of continuous contraction, simple activities exhausted me and I was having more and more difficulty walking. The accident had twisted my pelvis and caused my leg to drag. My feet were so painful that walking on stairs was excruciating. I had started sleeping on the first floor, to avoid the stairs. My GP, recommended with my history of injuries that I begin to consider selling my home and horse farm and moving to a small place that I could manage. My accident had forced me to sell my horses, I could no longer garden or participate in former activities. Even taking care of myself was difficult as I was forgetful and foggy. A friend who was a personal trainer and worked at Good Life in Bedford was telling me of a chiropractic that was helping some of his clients with sports injuries and car accidents. My friend was impressed with the glowing reports from Dr. Roach's clients and he was beginning to see Dr. Roach with his own sports related injuries. I remained skeptical, having spent so much time in physiotherapy and being told there was nothing more that could be done to help me. My friend was beginning to show improvement with his injuries and he told me Dr. Roach did free assessments so there was nothing to loose. I went for my free assessment. It's been three years with Dr. Roach and I just returned from Spain where I completed The Camino de Santiago and the Camino Finisterre. I walked over 800km and carried my own backpack. The employees here are very friendly, personable and professional. I have conversations with all of the staff as if I knew them my whole life. I came to Dr. Roach’s practice with neck/back and knee problems. I initially was skeptical about getting my neck/back adjusted or cracked as most people think of it, not knowing how it would help me. After my first few treatments, I noticed a significant difference, but after receiving treatment for almost a year now, I feel like a new man. I also had knee problems and went to doctors and specialist who gave me x rays and MRIs and said nothing could be done and suggested I went back to school instead of being a carpenter. I started doing laser treatment on my right knee which has given me problems for years and it took a while for it to take affect but after proper treatment from these guys and the proper guidance of exercises I have next to no pain at all. I started having numbing and tingling in my forehead, which ended up moving down the right side of my body... my face, forehead, head, right arm and down to the top of my leg. Over the course of two years, I went to numerous specialists (ENT, Neurologist, Optometrist etc.) and they could not figure out why this was happening. I had an MRI, muscle tests and all came back “clear.” I was then told “I was just one of those people who have this unexplained phononmen”. That answer was unacceptable to me and I wasn’t going to give up!! Then one day I saw an ad on Facebook for a free spinal scan at Roach Chiropractic and I thought, what have I got to lose? Well that was the best thing I could have done! The scan showed my right side was inflamed and not aligned, and the X-ray showed subluxation in 4 of my vertibrae in my neck including what looked like the nerve being pinched. Your neck is supposed to have a curve and mine has no curve at all! It was perfectly straight!! I went for my first adjustment in January, and here I am two months later feeling flippin fantastic! Every week I gain more and more feeling in the parts of my body that have been numb for two years! I no longer have tingling and most of my feeling has come back...I can feel my nose, part of my face, the back and side of my head, my leg and my right arm!! Just the forehead has yet to come back...it was the first part to go numb, so it will be the last to return. I 100% feel that Dr.Roach saved my life! I was discouraged with the answers I was getting from specialists and now I have my quality of life back!! I actually feel better physically now then I ever did before!! Dr. Roach is amazing at what he does and he really cares about his patients. I am so thankful I took that step to try chiropractic care.

GO FIT LIFE!

As well as being a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and triathlon coach, I am also an age group competitive athlete. I have been working in the fitness industry for 15 years and competing in races for 9 years. With all that said, I'm extremely active, sometimes pumping out 25-30+ hours of physical activity in a week. This is taxing on my body and immune system. BUT with the care I receive from Dr. Roach at this centre, I am able to keep up with all my work and carry out the physical demands of my job and training with very few hiccups. One of the most important things I can do for my health is receive care from Dr. Roach. My treatments are so valuable to me. When I was training for my second ironman-distance triathlon (enormous amount of hours spent training) and receiving regular care from Dr. Roach, I had never felt so good during training. Not only did I recover faster from workouts, and sleep better, I trained and competed in that event INJURY FREE and not once did I get sick. Dr. Roach's treatments are not only healing, they are also preventative. I must also mention that the service I receive at this centre is top notch. It is run efficiently and very professionally. I first met Dr Roach over 7 years ago at a wellness expo that my employer was sponsoring. I have a history of osteo arthritis in my neck and back. I would get frequent periods of pain in both my back and neck. Once Clayton was able to align my spine, the frequency of pain events reduced substantially. I was in an accident (rear-ended) on Feb 20th of this year which left me with a neck sprain and whiplash. After a month and a half of physio therapy I was still in quite a bit of pain. I was suffering from multiple issues for s long time and having chronic pains specially in my neck and shoulder was part of my life. I spent lots of time and money to take care of this multiple problems but it was not working since i never had the knowledge and care i received from Dr, Roach. I first saw Dr. Roach to help with a sore neck and soreness in my back. I have been receiving treatment for several months now. My back and neck are now non-issues and I am very pleased to have so much more mobility back and almost zero discomfort in those areas, unless I mistreat myself...then Dr. Roach fixes me again! Having a very active lifestyle with farm and horses.. I need my body to be able to do all that I do. Just lately I was having trouble with my big toe. I suffered for a few weeks before getting the courage to ask his opinion, thinking he could do nothing for a big toe. I was wrong. My back is bad! Has been for years! After 9 or 10 holes of golf, I was popping pain pills like M&Ms! Saw an online post for Roach Chiropractors and thought "why not?". Booked a session and had an initial assessment done. Booked some sessions to fix my back and they assigned me to Dr Ben Boudreau. After many sessions (once a week for 6 weeks, followed by once every 2 weeks for 12 weeks), I feel much better. I stand straighter, I walk straighter, even my golf game has improved! Ok, to be fair, my score isn't lower (Ben is not a miracle worker after all!) but I hurt much less when I play! My grand daughter measures us on the door frame at home...our pencil marks (country music fans know what I am talking about) and I am a half inch taller!!! Bottom line...I feel better, I (think) I look better because of my better posture, and know that I am on track to less pain because of the care, and advice on post appointment exercises, recommended by Dr Boudreau. And they play good music in the clinic. Only downside is when the music in interrupted by my bones and joints cracking!

8 years ago I was in a sever motor vehicle accident and I have had daily chronic pain. I have tried many types of treatments but never had lasting results and was feeling like one step forward was two steps back. I was very nervous of trying chiropractic treatment for many reasons. About a year ago I decided to try and I wish I would have long ago. The treatments are short simple and straight to the problem, it is less time consuming than other treatments which give me a better quality of life ( working full time and spending an hour + each evening for other treatments was taking alot of time from enjoying life) With other treatments I also would take multiple pain medications and other medications to counteract their effects. With chiropractic treatment I have not had to take pain medications which also gives me better quality of life. Chiropratic has given me so much life back and with regular treatments I'm able to manage my pain and enjoy life to the fullest! I went to Roach Chiropractic because of a severe sciatic nerve condition. It had gotten to the point where walking was a very painful condition. Other treatments such as physiotherapy had failed to provide relief. Chiropractic treatment has greatly improved my condition, gone are the searing pains in my hip and left leg. I can now get out for walks and perform normal tasks such as mowing the lawn without discomfort. I would certainly recommend chiropractic care for anyone with a similar condition.

It all started with me when I hurt my shoulder in April 2019. I wouldn't take any kind of painkiller because I like to fix things the natural way. In August 2019 I started going for massages hoping the pain would subside so I could continue exercising but it just kept getting worse. So it all started with seeing Dr.Roach’s promotion for his practise on Facebook over two months ago. Who knew this was going to change my life in ways I never intended. I have been released from the military after sustaining multiple concussions and I suffer from headaches and migraines on a daily basis, I had tried Physio, medication of all sorts, prism lense glasses, to no avail. When I walked into my appointment the only reason I was there was for my back, as I had been suffering from pain for months, what I didn’t know is he treats concussion patients as well, I HAD NO IDEA Chiropractor care could help treat post concussion symptoms. I mentioned I got headaches on a daily bases and often migraines as well in my assessment, I didn’t think anything of it, as I accepted I would have these medical Limitations for the rest of my life. But when Dr. Roach entered the room he told me he was very confident he could get rid of my headaches, I don’t think at this time he knew how much that meant to me, I couldn’t hold back my emotions. At that moment he knew this was life changing for me, and he instantly told me he would go above and beyond to help me get better. This has been a personal battle I have been dealing with for over a decade, it started to affect my mood, ended relationships, developed horrible anxiety and depression, irritability, and ended my career, I was in a bad place, a really bad place. When I first seen Dr.Roach I was one week away from starting school after 13 years of being away and fresh off being released from the military after 10 years of service. He gave me my confidence back at a time when I needed it most. Today I am doing great at school and have minimum headaches after ONLY going for two months so far to see Dr. Roach twice a week. He cares about his patients more than you know. He put me on a 5 day water fast and even gave me his personal number to call him in case I felt like quitting. He referred me to an eye doctor at FYI doctors for a new type of concussion lense which I am currently wearing, which help Me to focus without the headaches. If you had a bad experience with Chiropractor care before Or maybe you just never knew all the things it can help treat, or maybe you are completely against it because you went a few times and you weren’t instantly cured, this takes time, he wants to fix the root of the problem, he doesn’t care about the headaches, he wants to fix what’s causing the headaches, not to give you relief for a few months, he wants to make you feel better for the rest your life.When you see Dr. Roach he will give you a treatment plan, you MUST go to all your appointments, you MUST follow his recommendations and most of all don’t quit on yourself because he won’t quit on you. Since starting chiropractic treatment I have full mobility back, I am back to working out daily, my headaches and migraines from my car accident injury have been greatly reduced, and my overall health has improved. In the beginning I was very nervous going in to this new to me style of treatment but my only regret is not doing it sooner. Due to not well suited orthotics I ended up with wit deep tissue pain in the right heel and painful and swollen IT band which I couldn't get to heal. It was only when I got an assessment from Dr. Clayton Roach that it was discovered that I had a displaced pelvis. This happened when I was overly corrected with the nonfitted right orthotics. With several treatments I can now say that I am feeling way better and I can go for leisure walks again. So thank you Clayton for your wonderful work.

I gave 5 stars originally to Roach Chiro just before Covid-19. It was over a year ago now (Sept 2019) that I had frozen shoulder. My GP referred me to joint specialist who just wanted to give a cortisone injection, on a whim I decided to go see Dr. Roach on Dec 30/2019. Well, after the 1st treatment of my cervical spine (not my shoulder), I had more movement in literally minutes. With Covid-19, I obviously had no treatment until June. I'm so lucky to had seen him regularly through early March. There were several times when I felt drastically different immediately after the adjustments, especially with occipital bone. Turns out Dr Roach thought the root cause was nerve related, which after about 4+ months affected my shoulder. My shoulder is 95% now and continue to see Dr. Roach for maintenance for my back and neck. The front office staff are friendly, accommodating & enjoy looking after patients coming in. I can't recommend Roach Chiropractic enough!

I have been going to Dr Roach for Chiropractic care since April, 2014. I had very limited range of motion in my shoulder and neck. The issue resolved after frequent initial treatments and I am now on a maintenance schedule. Dr Roach has also been treating a lower back and cervical spine curvature issue which had been something I just tried to ignore but with chiropractic adjustments it has improved greatly. Educating his clients is very important part of Dr Roach's care. Appointments are always on time. Dr Roach and his staff are the friendliest group of people I have ever met. I would highly recommend Roach Chiropractic.

I, like a lot of people, was apprehensive about going to a chiropractor basically out of ignorance but the education that you receive at the beginning of your treatment course was very informative and helpful. Now I can't wait for treatment day. Been going there for about 7 months and can see a world of difference in the way my body feels, I could see results pretty much right away once starting treatment. I have regained almost all of my range of motion, don't suffer from the daily pain I was in in my shoulder and lower backand don't wake up from back pain during the night. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Ben Boudreau is amazing. When I came to him my neck had not been able to be adjusted for a long time and had locked up. Dr. Ben worked with my body and now I have my range of motion back. My posture is vastly improved. He showed me how to do home exercises to help the process and keep my body flowing as it should. A few years ago I had broken my right elbow twice and required two surgeries. I was told I would not have full range of motion by the surgeon. Dr. Ben didn't give up and now I have over 90% rang of motion on my own. He is able to fully move my arm and we are working on getting the muscles to stronger. If you have never watched their Wednesday night Hump Day conversions you need to. You will learn so much about your body and have your questions answered by Health Care professionals.

Triple booking is not the way to treat your clients. Having to wait 40 mins for an apt. for your son so that is 80 minutes of our time because they are money hungry. We need more patient care and need to stop overbooking and spend quality time with the patient vs. just a quick turnover for the money being spent.

I met Clayton Roach at a Lunch and Learn at work. I was born with Klippel Feil Syndrome and have been told my whole life to never go to a Chiropractor. They would tell me horror stories of being paralyzed for life. When meeting with Clayton I had explained to him that I have never gone a day without pain, I have never slept through the night without waking up with major leg pain or a wonderful Charlie horse. After seeing him for only two weeks I was for the first time in life sleeping through the night and I have yet "Knock on Wood" had a Charlie horse. It brings tears to my eyes to think that I could have relieved some of these issues many, many years ago. A friend told me that he is a miracle worker and that if I had of gone somewhere else many years ago it just wouldn't not have been the same. I truly needed to meet him, talk to him and work with him.
