Went to Dr. Scales over 20yrs ago. I couldn't sit, I was in so much pain. For years I suffered on and off. Finally someone recommended him. I told him the whole story and he said something doesn't sound right with prior diagnosis. He sent me to get xrays done. Went I brought him the xrays he spent a good 10min going over them. Then he found a bone growth on one of the disks pressing on the spinal cord. He said he can fix it but if would take awhile. Went to him for I think 6 months. That was over 20yrs ago.

Upon a recommendation I visited Dr. Scales in the fall of 2020. I have been to many chiropractors over the years and by far Albert has been the best at addressing needs to chronic issues. I had also recently sprained my ankle and although one would think a chiro to be limited to spines, Albert has also helped with healing my foot. He has decades years of practice behind him and stays up-to-date with the latest treatments and technology to supplement his practice. The whole office staff is professional and personable. Highly recommended!

I am a 93 year old female. I fell about 4 weeks ago. I had no fracture but was very sore walking and moving in any way. I have been a patient of Dr. Scales for 2 years and have found his treatment to be very comfortable and extremely effective. My family is so happy that I have been able to move and walk better with less pain, even at 93 years of age. There is no twisting or cracking involved due to my age, but his technology and equipment is so up to date which makes every visit so comfortable. Thanx so much for putting me at such ease during the COVID 19 PANDEMIC. After a week of agony from a slip and fall, I found out the hard way that Dr. Scales does indeed provide an essential service! I thought all my problems were solved with the last visit....he left me with an amazing range of motion and flexibility in my shoulder which did endure, as usual. But I can be a clumsy sort and Dr. Scales and his crackerjack team of pain solving associates have put Humpty back together a few times. Special thanx to Dr. Brendan Macoretta and Alana Goertzen (Kinesiology and Massage Therapist). Thank you all for helping to free me from the painkiller, Lyrica. Medicine and Big Pharma do have their place, but for the long haul, it's about diet, exercise and getting in with a great chiropractor. Once I came for an adjustment, and there was a spry couple all jovial on their way out; they stopped to talk to a familiar face beside me and, when I realized they were both in their nineties, I knew that Lakeshore Chiropractic Group would be my last stop for pain management. I'm very glad to have found Dr Scales and his practice.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is friendly and engaging. I came in to see Dr Scales... with painful sciatica. He was so friendly extremely knowledgeable listened to me... patiently while I described in detail my pain LOL something I'm sure he must get tired of hearing, but he certainly did not show that! I am continuing treatment and what I love best is the treatments are so non-invasive. They use so many techniques that really are what you expect in Physiotherapy. This is something that was very important to me. He has used cold laser a spinal decompression machine a stretch therapy machine.... plus thoughtful and gentle manipulation I am delighted to have found this chiropractic office. .Keep up the good work!

Best chiropractor in Niagara. I was afraid of chiropractors before this. Didn't want anyone cracking or breaking me. Dr Scales didn't do that. He used lasers and other tools to relax my muscles and thoroughly explained what he was doing and made me feel at ease. It's helped tremendously. Will definitely be going back. Also they do direct billing if you have coverage.

I have read so many great reviews so I gave them a try. I hate negative reviews, but the morning after first and second visit my neck and shoulders are so tight and sore it is and was hard to move. I've been to many chiro's over the years. I have to mention I found the practitioner to be rather rough and jerky when applying adjustments. Being a bit older the fluidity of movements is the difference between pain and discomfort. I really hope it is a rareness of this. The team seem to very cordial and knowledgeable. With so many positive reviews it must just be a rare occurrence. But non the less.

I met Dr. Brendan while visiting my daughter in St. Catharines. She noticed I was walking a bit crooked with some obvious pain and discomfort. She called his office and a visit was quickly arranged. He diagnosed my issue very quickly and corrected the problem in just two visits. What an incredible, knowledgeable, personal and informative doctor. Need a chiropractor to assess and adjust a problem? His laser and stretch table are unique - he uses them to correct problems. Dr. Brendan can fix you quickly as he did for me. We've been patients of Dr. Scales for at least 15 years, and have had nothing but excellent treatment from the beginning. Dr. Scales is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, and warm, and recently, he has found a wonderful asset to the team in Dr. Brendan Macoretta, who is always willing to take extra time to get to the root of your pain. I love that Dr. Scales always stays current and is constantly bringing in new technology and ideas. Also, office manager Karen is fantastic! Altogether, a great team, and a great experience.

After receiving laser treatment from Dr. Scales, my arthritic knee was greatly improved after just one treatment. I even danced that weekend! I also have a trigger finger caused from arthritis that was causing a lot of pain. I asked him to treat that too and have had excellent results as well.
