Extremely poor service! Called to book a next day appointment for 10am. The booking was accepted. Next day arrived on time only to find out that I have to wait an hour. I was upset and complained that it took me an hour round trip to come and paid $3 for parking, plus I clearly mentioned during the call that I have another appointment early afternoon so I can only do 10am. They should have called me if they have problem arranging resources. The front desk still insisted he can't do nothing so I left angrily. Will never go back to such a terrible place!

This is not Unihealth even though they have kept the name. They are under new management. They say people didn't need the Groupon, because the new prices are the same. But they are actually more expensive than Unihealth was. This new place, called Yong, charges $100/hour where Unihealth charged $75 per hour. But the very worst thing is that they told my dad, a senior citizen, while he was in the massage room, that they would appreciate a tip, so he tipped them. Registered massage therapists are a medical professional group, and I would never tip them. It's one thing to have a tip option on a credit card payment, but to ask for a tip privately while actually in the massage room smacks of coercion - and twice as bad when it's a senior involved. I would not use these people and I can't see how they will stay in business long with these practices and ethics.
I purchased an hour reflexology session, I received a reminder call which was greatly appreciated. I was greeted and shown to sit in the lobby. A bucket of water was brought to me to soak my feet while the lady was finishing up another customer next to me. Lucy did an EXCEPTIONAL job pinpointing all the spots on my feet, and she also massaged my calf’s. It was a very relaxing hour. Only down side was when I was paying, the Asian guy at the counter mentioned about leaving a tip, which I found pretty passé.
Just tried to book a SPECIALTY massage (foot refloxology) using my groupon voucher as that’s what I purchased. When guy who’s English was very poor tried to argue that wasn’t what I purchased and I repeatedly told him it was, he hung up on me. I do NOT recommend redeeming your voucher here. If you can, use the Surrey location as they were happy to accommodate.

The first and last time I went there the female RMT talked the entire time about her personal life and made negative comments about my tattoos. After the treatment, I went to the front desk to process my insurance and pay the dividend. Much to my surprise, there was a tip option. Highly irregular for a professional RMT business. This is not a salon or a massage parlour, but has less professional courtesy.
I strongly recommend that no one go here. I've been a regular customer with my wife and they've always been good but now they are under new management and we have had nothing but problems. The customer service is horrible. We wanted a receipt to get extended health coverage and they wouldn't print us one. The manager said the acupuncture treatment we had was somehow a "non-receipt treatment". What does that mean? It doesn't say that anywhere! Every time we go we have to argue because they want to charge us extra for something (like a receipt). We will never return to this location. If you want the same treatments in a much better place go to Columbia Integrated Health instead. Stay away from this place!!
I went for a massage and was helped by Mark. The man couldn't speak English very well and we had to use Google Translator to communicate. It was pretty funny. But you know what? Best massage EVER! The man cares, has very strong hands, and really knows his stuff. I didn't have to tell him where the pain was. "Couldn't really ????" But he just knew. Took care of every little knotted muscles and really made me feel relaxed. Even made me super good Tea... and I don't usually like tea. I like to save that stuff for the Queen... lol... So if you want results go there... and ask for him.

they are no longer unihealth even changed the name. as a long customer with unihealth with this branch Im so disappointed and pissed off with how bad the management the new owner (working at the reception) has.. their price is more expensive than unihealth and don't want to give us the receipt that we paid for. (if u need it to claim for extended health insurance). last visit, I booked another to use my rest of the package, and when I visited there for the next appointment, the manager at the reception told me that I need to pay memebership or buy another package to continue my membership so that I can use the last session. I dont get it why they keep asking us to pay more at every visit since the ownership changed. we freaking paid for the treatment b4!! so sick of arguing with this guy..

Worse place ever! Money hungry these clowns are.They had redeemed my Groupon voucher when I had rescheduled for another day and expecting that I pay for my massage because the voucher was no longer valid. Leon Lin is the front desk/telephone receptionist that kept pushing on me buying a massage and wasted my time and SCAMMING me into redeeming my voucher without actually receiving the service. This place will be shut down as soon as possible. Filed a compliant with BBB.

I called the New West location to make an appointment and the receptionist (who I'm reading is also the owner) was incredibly rude. He answered the phone like it was his own personal number. Just "Hello?" I didn't know if I had called the clinic or if I had called a wrong number. I tried to make an appointment for Saturday but I was told I was only allowed to make appointments for Monday to Thursday. I could barely understand a word he said. I eventually told him that he was extremely rude and I want to get a Groupon refund and he said "You get a refund then, I'm too busy to deal with this" and hung up on me. I've heard the Surrey location is better anyway so I'll be trying to make an appointment there. I'd rather lose the $40 I spent than be treated like this!
Totally ripped off my groupon. Even if the ownership has changed I am very disapppointed and felt it was a scam to charge people more than what was just promoted in groupon. Also if you were late to arrive or miss your booked appointment, beware and say bye bye to your paid groupon as they will mark it as redeemed without getting your massage at all. In short we were demanded to pay again for the massage, the paid 48$ groupon were ripped off. The massage was alright like average massage I have been into. Nothing much special aside from its a rip off.
Only the first time treatment and receiving will be good but the next one will be bad. If we pay money for a package, they don’t care at all. Instead they are rude to people. Some of them barley speak English. The guy at the front doesn’t even know how to talk to people especially to women. Please don’t go there if anyone want good treatment with respect.

I wanted to give this place a try since I saw a deal on it on Groupon. Now I understand why they needed help advertising, because their customer service is not very good. The receptionist seemed snobbish and could barely speak English. That's okay since the location has a lot of Asians. Overall, just wasn't impressed even with the Groupon deal I got.

Great massage strength and pinpointed issues. I am a pretty big guy and always found it difficult to find a massage therapist that could give me the pressure I needed. Also went the extra mile and gave me some patches to help relieve pain would recommend.

My back was sore today . Despite all the bad reviews I decided to give this place a shot . I'm glad I did. A man named HouDa Huang worked on my back . He asked me where my pain was and targeted the areas perfectly as well as my shoulders and legs . Best massage Iv had so far and I would highly recommend this man. He works Wednesday and Friday in new west.
With the bad service that I got, one star is even generous but unfortunately i can’t put zero as rating for this NW Healthland Clinic. The Chinese lady who massaged me was very aggressive that I came out of the clinic with excruciating pain rather than being relaxed which was my purpose. She used a buffalo horn on my back without my consent and she told me not to tell the owner because it’s an extra charge. This caused a great pain on my neck and upper back till this day! I talked to the owner but he was kinda useless too. They don’t care about the customers there! Just like the other people’s reviews, I would strongly NOT recommend this clinic. Save yourself from misery go to another registered massage therapist and clinic!

It was my first time to visit unhealth new west yesterday..The place is clean, comfortable and relaxing to the soul.The staff are very accommodating. I had a good massage therapist who respect my pain tolerance level and keep working with me to find a level of pressure that is comfortable for me. I feel renewed and revitalized after the treatment. It was a relaxing afternoon at unihealth..Definitely, will comeback to this place...
I wanted a nice relaxing massage and saw the Groupon and thought I’d try them. New West. First the receptionist barely speaks English and sat out front with a Dr during my whole time doing nothing . This is relevant as when I went to the room the sheets on the bed looked gray and there was no towel on head rest. Basically the room was not prepared. Mary my masseuse did put towels on bed but I had to mention the towel after she told me she had a regular client walk out angry because the room did not look clean nor the bed. Mary did a decent job but she was so upset by the last customer that she couldn’t stop talking. I was ok with it for a while but even after I told her I wasn’t going to talk any more she kept going ???? . She had some good techniques but when I got home I had a big bruise on my left side back around my shoulder blade and one day later it still hurts. Because of that I will never go back. They need management. The receptionist should be setting up rooms and making sure they are ready for clients . The wall also had oil hand prints ☹️ . They will never make it in New West there are too many other good spas and other health specialists for them to compete with.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! They wouldn't make my reservation (two weeks in advance) because they ANTICIPATE regulars will be looking to book the same times I was looking for. The staff member also swore at me on the phone in a different language, not realizing I understood him.
