I booked a massage appointment a few weeks ago. Upon arriving, I was told that no appointment was scheduled for me. Really disappointing, considering I was looking to have a low back muscle spasm resolved. I went to a nearby clinic that took me in right away, and was able to help me fix my back pain. I first met Victor 26 years ago when my back "gave out" on me while I was on vacation up north. My husband rushed me home and called my doctor. She promptly told me to take 2 aspirin and call her in the morning. She said she would prescribe stronger stuff if I didn't feel better. I had just given birth to my first son 3 months prior, so being drugged was not an option for me. I have been a patient of Dr. Fong for a while now. I had a terrible backache and I searched for a good Chiropractor. After seeing amazing reviews I decided to visit Dr. Fong. That was a great decision. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He doesn't only treat the underlying issue that causes the pain, but also goes above and beyond to educate his patients. My boyfriend became one of Dr. Fong's patients after my recommendation. The staff is very professional too! Trudy(Dr. Fong's assistant) is also very kind and accommodating with our difficult schedules and she always finds time for us even if we are late to our appointments. I should also mention that, I have post nasal drip which causes chronic cough. I visited clinics and used various types of medications, nothing stopped it. Guess what? For those uninsured, "SAVE your Time and MONEY". After two visits and $120 for "consultation" & in-house x-ray, I was told that I must commit to 20 sessions of treatment otherwise Dr. Fong won't even lift a finger. Things You need to know before visiting (based on my experience): 1. Your treatment will probably start on the third session, expect to pay for the two consultation sessions 2. In-house X-Ray could be taken and they charge per X-ray ($50 for mine) 3. Absolutely, NO treatment unless you commit to the full treatment plan ( 20 sessions for my un-chronic gym pain) I am fit, healthy, exercising weekly, in fact, all I was complaining about was a numb thumb and mild neck pain after a heavyweight lift session at the gym. I was upfront about my case, nevertheless, in this clinic, you either commit to paying for 20 sessions or NO TREATMENT - I was told, If you are looking for a rapid treatment then simply go take an aspirin. I called another doctor who was specialized in sport-related issues and it took ONE session to resolve the issue. No BS, straight to the point, with honest, & professional service. I think every doctor can decide on whichever treatment they think appropriate. But they need to be upfront and clear about it from the get-go. You NEED to keep people informed before start charging them. Had I knew about the above, I would never step a foot in this clinic. P.S. I couldn't select zero stars coz Google requires one star at minimal.

I came in with a number of issues with my back and neck after a car accident, and years of working behind a computer, particularly neck tightness and lower back pain. While I’m still on-going treatment, I’ve been very satisfied with choosing City Centre. My neck tightness is gone and my body feels much better than it did before i started overall. I've had pain in my arm and fingers for almost three months that has steadily gotten worse. My doctor just gave me medication and recommended surgery. A hand specialist claimed he could find nothing wrong. Massage seemed to only make it worse. My sisters suggested I try a Chiropractor and that is how I found Dr. Fong. I was anxious about it because I didn't want to be 'cracked' anywhere, however Dr. Fong was very kind and actually paid attention to my symptoms. He spent real time examining me and discerning the possible root cause of the pain and patiently explained all aspects of treatment to me. I am now in my fifth treatment with him (Sans the cracking part :-) ) and while my arm is not completely better I have noticed a significant difference in the pain and my fingers are no longer numb and stiff when I wake up. I enjoy the information emails and quizzes that are sent out and I was very impressed by the fact that Dr. Fong called me himself after my first treatment to see how I was doing. It shows that I am not just a nameless patient and that he actually cares about my health. Over all great service. Seen quickly when I arrive for my appointment, office is clean, cosy and comfortable, I especially like the cloud ceiling panels and the fish :-) Trudy of course is a Gem and the glue that holds everything together!

Finally getting around to writing a review. Booking an appointment was a breeze, and Trudy explained the whole sign up process once i got there in person, made for a very smooth experience. I went to Dr. Fong because of a L5/S1 disc bulge. When i first walked in i remember not being able to sit on the chair i was waiting on due to the nerve pain. But here i am now, feeling loads better. Its still a long road to recovery, and i am by no means pain free yet.. But i know i will be, so long as i stick with treatment. Ive tried just about every other kind of therapy for this and chiro is finally what started showing me results. Dr. Fong knows what hes doing, and he cares about your issues, and thanks to him and chiropractic i am on track to a pain free life.

I have complained about lower back pain for several years, but never convinced myself to get any professional help. My mother has been a patient of Dr. Fong's for several months now and recommended that I see him for an assessment. I'm glad I did, as he was able to detect and explain exactly what was wrong. In addition to my lower back issues, Dr. Fong was also able to detect the beginning phases of disc degeneration in my neck. Although the symptoms weren't obvious to me, he noticed immediately, and confirmed this after the x-rays were taken. I have been noticing that my shoulders were not aligned. I sent out inquiries to different chiro clinics nearby but no one else responded except this one. They were able to determine that I have thoracic scoliosis and lumbar scoliosis after taking a look at the x-ray results. I have then began my treatment with Dr. Rishi Tayal immediately and the treatments have been great so far. Definitely top level chiropractic care! Currently, I have a 50 degree cobb angle scolio, I will report back in a year once we take another x-ray to see progress. So far been happy with the treatment and have been feeling better!

I have been going to Dr. Fong for the past 6 months for a back issue that I have been having for the past couple of years. I had gone through several other treatments, but the pain kept coming back. Since getting treatment from Dr. Fong I have been free of the pain and my posture and ability to move has since considerably improved. I was provided an initial assessment of the problem and they discussed the course of action including treatment timelines which greatly helped in decision making from my side. Dr. Fong and the staff are very supportive and courteous. I strongly recommend giving this place a try for effective and lasting relief.

We’ve been going to City Center Chiropractic & Massage for about two years now, and I would say it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made as our family values Health and wellbeing a lot. We initially went there for adjustments because of backaches, and knees and feet are hurting after prolonged walks. Went to Dr. Fong after injuring my lower back. Was unable to sleep or sit comfortably, and had tingling in my left leg. Dr. Fong helped me get back to my normal life using laser therapy, regular chiropractic visits, and gave me stretches and exercises to do at home. In 1995 my mom was suffering from intense, searing sciatic pain stemming from a herniated disc. She was unable to walk, sit or even sleep. We were using a wheelchair to take her from one place to another. She had seen many Doctors and they had mentioned that she had to have a risky surgery or live with the disabling pain. One of my dad’s friends recommended Dr. Victor Fong / City Centre Chiropractic and we book an appointment. The first thing Dr. Fong did was take an Xray of my mom’s spine and then explained what the issue was, and which area was the sciatic in. Then he started working on her spine. When we got home that night my mom was able to sleep for the first time after many months. She slept for nearly 12 hours straight without any medication. We could believe the results only after one session. Then she started having regular visits and after few weeks she was able to walk gradually. She has been a regular patient of Dr. Fong for over 2 decades. Many of her friends that have chosen to have the surgery are not any better after the surgery. She is very grateful for the results that she has gotten as a result of her sessions with Dr. Fong. This was my mom’s story. I started suffering from severe migraines in my 20’s and working in an office environment sitting for prolonged hours was not helpful. I also started visiting Dr. Victor Fong for my neck-related issues for the last two years. As a result, the constant pain in my neck area is nearly gone and have much fewer migraines than previous. Great service and expertise. The only complaint is that they constantly run late. You may have a 3pm and get there 10mins ahead. 3pm being the 1st appointment, unfortunately they take the first person to arrive although clearly your appointment is 3pm. Little frustrating when you have work or other appointment ls scheduled accordingly.
