My insurance company sent me here. After several "treatments" I refused to go any more as I was wasting my time. There was no hands on and 1 session was only 5 minutes long. They billed $100 for this session, and others. My current place is $60 and it is far superior. My insurance paid so I think they gouge. I have done lots of physio in my life and this was the worst experience.

I had my first physio appointment ever today with Kathryn and it was by far one of the best "health related" experiences I've had. I've never been listened to as well as I was today and while my hip issue wasn't obvious from the outset, she kept with it and trying many different things until we could pinpoint where the problems are coming from. Up until today I've never had a professional take into account everything I was telling them about the pain I experience and ask so many questions to make sure they really understand what I'm trying to express, while performing her own assessment.

I have been seeing Lifemark since October 2017 on and off for various reasons and they honestly do tremendous work with injuries and pain therapy. I highly recommended calling or coming in to speak with someone, Lifemark does an amazing job at working with OHIP funded physiotherapy. I have used the services of Lifemark Physiotherapy here in Kingston after suffering a rare and complex injury at work. The team at Lifemark are superb! They've worked seamlessly with my WSIB Case Managers and Nurse Consultants and have been the driving force behind my recovery. Its nice to be able to enter the clinic and be greeted time after time with a friendly "Hi, Greg!" Catie is fantastic and so pleasant to talk to both in person and on the phone and a wonderful first impression to have when arriving for each visit. The entire team is extremely personable and professional. So nice to experience especially when it seems harder to find in organizations these days! The bulk of my Physiotherapy and Recovery has been under the guidance and care of Physiotherapist Mike Twigg. Since being injured, I've seen so many doctors and healthcare professionals who have made me feel like just another case or file and lack what I call good "Bedside manner." Mike is just the opposite. I can genuinely say he has taken the time to listen, not only to what I've had to say verbally, but what my body has had to say, physically. He takes the time to explain things in a very clear and concise manner. Every step of the way I have trusted Mike's guidance and expertise and its been tremendously reassuring to know I can tell him exactly how my body is feeling and that he genuinely hears, understands and decides upon a course of action accordingly. I appreciate the fact that he has taught me not only what to do to best aid in my recovery but also, just as importantly, what not to do which could hamper my progress. When your body is hurt it is so very difficult to trust someone else moving and manipulating it, but I have complete trust in allowing Mike to do so. I count myself very fortunate to have had Mike as a Physiotherapist. Assistant Sebastien has been a great help as well, always there to ensure I was doing well with encouraging words while helping me accomplish the treatments and physical exercises necessary towards achieving recovery. When you're in a world of pain due to injury, its very comforting in having the empathetic and reassuring nature that Sebastien brings. I'd recommend Lifemark Physiotherapy without hesitation. If you've had bad experiences with Physio in the past, you owe it to yourself to give Lifemark a shot. If you've never had any experience with physio before, do it right and make Lifemark your first. 5 STARS!

I have now been a client at Lifemark in Kingston for over a year. Upon my first visit, I was nervous about starting the process of physio and massage from an accident. Never had I needed physio and I had a million questions. The receptionists were amazing in teaching me what needed to be done and spoke to me as though I was their primary focus. This meant a lot to my wife and I! Quickly the team got to know me well and teach me about how to best heal and regain strength that I had lost. Upon returning for a second time, they remembered my name and my story and welcomed me back. They have made the recovery process stress-free! I would gladly recommend them to anyone as they are knowledgeable, polite, thoughtful and their team works well with one another to ensure that every client is treated with excellence!

In response to my hip complaint, my physician prescribed physiotherapy. She didn't mention any particular physiologist so I just selected one that was convenient to me. Lifemark was also a familiar name so I showed up unannounced within a few days of seeing my physician. The receptionist at the front desk was very good and quickly made me comfortable filling out a medical history sheet. I was assigned to Mark and he, too, made me comfortable for my introductory 50-minute session. I came back for five subsequent 30-minute sessions which alleviated my hip complaint. What I learned was that in my reaction to my hip soreness, I was favouring it and thereby throwing things out of whack. Mark provided me with physiotherapy and showed me how to do a series of exercises on my own that would balance things out. He gave me printed illustrations which reminded me how to do them at home. Months later, I'm still doing those exercises.

I had a workplace injury.... I was going to another clinic and paying out of pocket hoping to be reimbursed for a portion of the cost, thinking it was a sure fire way to receive REAL treatment. I later spoke with WSIB who asked that I consider consulting a clinic that they already had programs, direct communication and billing with. I admit I was reluctant as I thought this would mean I'd receive bare minimum consideration and treatment....but my visits to Lifemark were all SO much more effective than what I had received previously! I saw progress with every visit, they put a lot of consideration into my situation... They also worked around my schedule- and were very accommodating on days when I had my 5 year old in tow....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Almost worth getting another injury.

On Dec.6, I spoke to the woman in intake who transferred me to reception to schedule an appointment. I left a detailed message, I asked for an appointment with Mr. Twigg because my rehab focuses on the shoulder and elbow, he specializes in these areas. They say they will return phone calls within 24/48 hrs...they don't, they never returned my call to setup an evaluation. Lifemark Physiotherapy is losing money and clients because the office staff don't care.

I went here for 6-8 weeks and when I had come in for my initial appointment I was met with a fair amount of paperwork because of where my injury was but also by WONDERFUL and caring staff. All of the receptionists I met were wonderful and they seemed to remember everyone who came and went. My work made me feel like I was faking my injury but at Lifemark they made me feel like everything I said and every bit of pain I felt was not judged or dismissed. Any issue or concern I had they worked with me through every step and always continued to make sure I was okay through every step. I strongly recommend Mike and his team :)

Horrible experience. Not sure how they’re rated so high. I took a screenshot of a lady’s review back in early May who was having a similar experience who’s review has mysteriously since disappeared (so I attached a screenshot) I started having major issues with the professionalism of the office staff less than 2 months after beginning treatment here. My physio appointment was cancelled 20 minutes before (not the 1st time this has happened during my time spent there) and I was unable to reschedule my appointment for quite some time only to find out by another staff member at a different appointment that my physiotherapist was on medical leave. It would have been nice to have been notified and had a plan in place for a new physiotherapist so that my treatment was minimally disrupted! So I waited weeks to have an appointment with a new physiotherapist set up. I had a consult with her, she was great, I was looking forward to working with her, then I get a call saying she’s also gone on medical leave and I’d have to wait for them to find a replacement before I could restart my treatment again. I continued to go to kinesiology and massage therapy appointments in the meantime. About 4 months in I started getting harassed by the front desk staff about payment even though it was all through insurance. They were very unprofessional in the way they were trying to deal with the billing issues. Everything was fine for a couple months. I went in there today and was told that “their staff don’t work for free” (their words) and that they needed me to pay them. (Again, this was through my insurance) I walked out, as I was so upset with the way I was being talked to. And this hasn’t been the first time. Besides Kathleen at the front desk, who was always polite and helpful, the other receptionist was very unpleasant to deal with, and the staff there were aware as well, they always told me to call back later when a different staff member was working. This place is a mess. I feel like I’ve wasted 7 months of my life. My physical condition has barely improved overall in the last few months, despite me being diligent with attending and booking appointments (and I’ll note, that very much was left up to me to make sure I was booked in, as they didn’t seem to care about making a treatment plan and sticking to it) I have put way too much trust and patience into this shoddy business and I’m hoping someone reads this and looks elsewhere. As if dealing with the physical and mental pain of an accident isn’t hard enough, this place just makes your life harder. Shame on this place for making already vulnerable people feel like the dirt beneath their feet when someone is already at rock bottom.
