I had never been to a Chiropractor before. I took a blind chance of Dr. Paul Given. I am very happy I did. He helped me with newly developed lower back pain and over a course of 3-4 weeks, I could start feeling a noticeable difference. He verbally "dumbs" it down in a good way as I had no previous knowledge of the anatomy of the spine to help me understand what was causing my lower back pain. He explains what he finds is wrong with your back after an assessment, explains his plan on how to fix it. He genuinely seems to care about healing your subluxation(s). He definitely LOVES his job. His receptionist is also great! She was very good at working around my work schedule to fit me in 3 times a week. She sends out automated texts the day of your appointment for a friendly reminder which I found helpful. The billing process was simple and trusting of me to pay not after each session but after a few sessions were completed. Unfortunately for my back, I am moving to a different city so I have to stop seeing Dr. Given but if I were remaining in Kingston, I would definitely continue with Dr. Given and would recommend him to anyone with back pain. 10/10.
Dr. Given is one of the most compassionate doctors I have had adjust me. His knowledge and dedication to constantly improving and giving the best adjustment can be felt right away. He keeps me feeling my best!
I've been adjusted by many Chiropractors over the years and Dr Paul is amazing. He explains everything really well so I know what to expect. I would recommend Dr Paul to anyone.
I think it's funny how people can write a review but hide their name. Dr Paul has helped many of people including myself. His presentation is actually brilliant because he does not want people that are not committed to the program so this is why he does the information presentation. Weeding out all the people that waist his time like the the review that was given about his presentation. I would like to know what gp is an expert in ciro? I would go to dr Paul for a problem before I ever go to a drug pusher gp. This is what makes the world go around being different.
I've known Dr. Paul for almost 10 years. He is extremely kind and always puts his patients first. Honest and caring are two important qualities that I look for and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health and maintain proper spinal hygiene.
As a fellow Chiropractor, I have referred a number of patients to Dr. Paul Given over the years and have always received excellent feedback on his integrity and how much he has helped them. He is a dedicated Chiropractor that gets results.
It blogs my mind that people who are not or never have been patients can write review and not use their name. Dr. Paul Given has help so many people and is generous to a fault, I know that the office is really accommodating when people have to leave to pick up children, Betty and would bend over backwards to make things work for you. He is a man who does not try and pull the wool over the eyes of anyone. He has help both me and my family members with many problems through corrective actions. Please if you have good things to say then fine say them, but if you say negative things then back them up with facts!!!
Dr Given and all staff at Rejuve-Nation are fantastic! Very welcoming, friendly and personable. Dr. Given is very knowledgeable and ensures his clients understand the root of their problems in terms that are easy to understand. He is always open to questions, and helps make suggestions for improvements in between adjustments. After 1.5 months I am already feeling improvements in physical health as well as other areas of overall well-being. In addition to chiropractic care, Rejuvenate-nation also offers multiple methods of improving health and wellness. Highly recommend! 5 stars.
Great service. Doc Paul relieved me off of 2 years of intense sinus headache and neck and back pain. Thank-you Doc.
I've waited a really long time to post this review. For all I know, the doctor in this facility could be an excellent chiropractor. What I can tell you, is that he is a manipulative, scheming shyster who is more interested in your money and getting more business than he is about anyone's well being. I attended an information session. I visited a display at a local event and thought the invitation sounded interesting. Before the presentation, I was asked to put on a gown and have some Xrays taken. I noted, as a person that worked in an Xray clinic, that the machine being used was VERY old, in fact it looked quite like a 1980s model, and the person taking the images at the machine was the doctor himself. As I work in a radiology clinic, I know that in order to operate an Xray machine, you need to be a MRT or a physician who has been accredited through the Royal College of Physicians which chiropractors are not. Unless he also is a registered MRT he was not legally allowed to be taking those xrays. I was given a very dire warning about the state of my spine (he is also not a radiologist - how was he able to properly read these images?) I was advised that the only way to fix this was to come to him for adjustment. At the presentation, the doctor made a point of asking everyone to write down the email address of a friend or relative that we thought might be interested in their service. This seemed unprofessional - trying to garner more business when you're supposed to be making a pitch to me. Next up came a string of emotional stories and anecdotes about how wonderful a doctor he is, how he completely changed the lives of autistic children, and then full on tears from him as he talked about these things. One might actually think this was legitimate, until I learned from other people that he gave the same presentation, with the same stories, with the same set of tears at every session. He made a point of using guilt to combat several people's legitimate concerns "Some people say they can't afford our services, and I tell them if you can afford a cell phone, you can afford to go without that to guarantee your health and the health of your family" etc etc. Advised people that they shouldn't just come for one session, but that it's really only useful if they book for many sessions, and pay for them all at once. The entire display seemed very unprofessional and unethical. After almost an hour, my husband (who was waiting in the car) became concerned that it was taking some time and we needed to pick up our son from daycare. He came in to ask the receptionist how long it would be. She didn't give him an estimate, but instead led him right into the presentation, stopping the doctor mid sentence to tell him "This gentleman would like to know how much longer". The doctor seemed visible irritated, gave a vague answer like "it's going to be a while longer" and then when my husband exited he proceeded to go on a long diatribe about how people who are more concerned about how long something takes clearly have no common sense about the important value of this session and its a great disruption to the entire group, and he asked them all to look at me to see what kind of a person would do this and he essentially humiliated me in front of the crowd. He further went on at the end of the session saying "99% of the people who come to this session become one my patients, my numbers are that good". There was a free adjustment and a personal meeting with the doctor at the end of the session for everyone there. I asked the receptionist if I could go in sooner than later since I knew there was a deadline to pick up my child. She said she would do what she could, and then in the end I was the last person in. When he pressured me in that meeting to sign up, I declined. He seemed enraged and demanded to know why. I wanted to tell him it was because he was a manipulative rude con man, but I only just told him I was not interested without thinking about it first. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He is nothing but a shyster.
